The population of the Ivory Coasts has increased by around 462.29 million into an estimated 1.4 billion by 2019, a 67% growth rate within the span of a decade. The Ivory Coasts' population is generally projected to grow at around the same rate within the next few decades, considering that it does not undergo further industrialization. The Ivory Coasts account for over 53.8% of Africa's population, and is the most populated country in the world. Around half of Ivorians are 20 years old or younger.
