What is the official langauge of your nation?

Yes, telepathy

Do your people speak multiple languages?

No

Is there an indigenous language?

It is the indigenous language

What is the coolest sounding word or sound from your language?

none

How hard would it be to learn your nation's language?

It would be extremely hard for many people. As it doesn't involve words, scripts, instead there is thought transference and empathy, and as far as writing, they use art and symbology. One would have to be receptive to more subtle vibes in order to get an idea of how these people communicate. In addition they are not receptive to words and writing, but rather feelings and intentions. They are impossible to lie to.

Welcome to The Alpes a Septentrionali Imperium, a nation where I brutalize and adapt Latin and French History to my needs to get my Ultraroyalist Absolutist French Monarchy with a vaguely French-sounding fictional royal family to work.

Don't ask about the flag, it has something to do with RMB RP that I'm involved with.

Do your people speak multiple languages? Yeah. Some speak both but not everyone

Is there an indigenous language? Inkling/Octoling

What is the coolest sounding word or sound from your language? Unfortunately there is no way to put this in English so you should listen to our hit song “Nasty Majesty.” It is in the second verse, yo.

How hard would it be to learn your nation's language? It’d be very hard. They’re both very nuanced languages.

What is the official langauge of your nation?

Spanish.

Do your people speak multiple languages?

-No. Generally speaking, most Achaeans are monolingual Spanish speakers. Under-30s and millennials are learning more English, and there is a growing movement for multilingualism fostered by the Department of Education––in sixteen states, students are by law required to learn at least one foreign language by the time they graduate from high school. We have other localized languages like Santanés, a Portuguese-infused creole in Western Achaea, and Rosariano, which conserves some African idioms.

Is there an indigenous language?

-Native indigenous languages like the Carib, Garif, Arak, and the Chauaesi, but most are considered critically endangered.

What is the coolest sounding word or sound from your language?

Brokeao, stuckeao, pa'lante...

How hard would it be to learn your nation's language?

-Spanish is not hard to learn. However, learning the country's different dialects and inflexions could cost you some time to adapt if you are not familiar with our history.

What is the official language of your nation?
On a national level, there are two official languages of the Democratic Republic of Loulan:
    • Tokhari, a variety of Persian that bears a great similarity to Afghan Dari
    • Mandarin Chinese
The national language and the language of the majority (63.44%) of the population is Tokhari, and it is the language of public education. Mandarin Chinese, while natively spoken by a minority (33.53%, the combined Han and Hui minority populations), is an important language in business and media, and is widely spoken as a second language among the Tokhari majority.
Do your people speak multiple languages?
The vast majority of Loulanese people are bi- or trilingual, with acquisition of 4 or 5 languages not being unheard of. The few monolinguals nearly all come from the Han and Hui communities.
Is there an indigenous language?
There are several indigenous languages that are still spoken in Loulan:
    • Neo-Tocharian is an Indo-European language spoken in the isolated Kaidu River valley by the Agnean minority, who constitute about 0.58% of the nation's population. Originally, its ancestor was the language of the entire Tokhari population, but the sweeping cultural and linguistic Persianisation which took place between the 9th and 12th centuries has reduced its range to an isolated river valley in the Tian Shan mountains.
    • Izilakh is the eponymous language of the Izilakh minority; it is an Indo-European language with deeply archaic phonetic and grammatical features. Like Neo-Tocharian, it is a "centum" rather than a "satem" type language, but the two are not considered to be closely related.
    • Winja is an Indo-European language of the "satem" variety spoken by the Winja people who inhabit southeastern Loulan as well as Qinghai and Gansu provinces in China. The language is unusual for displaying a type of split ergativity based on intentionality.
    • Sarikoli is an eastern Iranian language spoken in the far western mountains of Loulan.
What is the coolest sounding word or sound from your language?
Some cool sounding words in each language:
    • Tokhari: دوستانمان / dostânemân (our friends)
    • Chinese: 共和國 / gònghéguó (republic)
    • Neo-Tocharian: lyūke (splendour)
    • Izilakh: suxlíptomǝn (sunset)
    • Winja: glarpaycha (tattoo)
    • Sarikoli: ðɯst (hand)

How hard would it be to learn your nation's language?
While it may look intimidating due to its use of Perso-Arabic script, Tokhari is famously easy to get a grip on as a variety of Persian. The language is highly formulaic and its syntax is quite logical.

What is the official langauge of your nation?
Officially, Latin is the sole language of the American government. However, American is commonly used.

Do your people speak multiple languages?
A majority of Americans are fluent in American, with a large portion also knowing Latin. Patricians and priests also learn Classical English, an antiquated language similar to American for the purpose of understanding ancient American documents. Many Americans also speak regional languages depending on where they live in the country as well in addition to American and/or Latin.

Is there an indigenous language?
Indigenous languages are spoken by small, Native American enclaves left in northern Canada, Central America, and the former western United States. The overwhelming majority of languages, however, such as Latin, American, and Spanish, all descend from Europe.

How hard would it be to learn your nation's language?
The difficulty of learning either American or Latin depends on prior knowledge. One who speaks a Romantic language such as Spanish, Italian, or French would have a relatively easier time learning Latin, while a speaker of a West Germanic language such as English or Dutch would have an easier time learning American has they descend from the same language family.
