Shurdington is a tiny little principality whose existence on the world stage would be entirely unnoticed. Nothing - or at least, very little - that happens in Shurdington has any effect outside its own borders.

Alzatia (the name for Alsace in this universe) was one of several duchies in the Holy Roman Empire, subordinate to the Emperor. It never fell into French or German rule—after the HRE collapsed, Alzatia went its own way and became an independent monarchy (like Liechtenstein and Luxembourg).

[The Union of British North America]

Yes, though there are some parallelism to the real world. Look at my factbooks for more info.

Obviously, with my country, there is no American Revolution, and thus no US and Canada. Instead, a gradual development of the American colonies and westward expansion led to a continental union covering most of North America, and even took in the British Caribbean colonies. It's hard to tell if't s a decentralized federation or a well-integrated confederation.

There is a more aligned and united Anglosphere, and even a personal union among the major territories. Think NATO, EFTA, and the Commonwealth/CANZUK rolled into one. An even stronger Special Relationship.

There is a stronger Japan and Japanese Empire with nukes and its own national space program competing with the UC and NAU's. The Empire of Japan acts as the cold war rival in my universe, a cold war that has died down a bit but is still ongoing. China is a major and growing power, but not quite like this world's China (and not communist).

The Russian Empire acts as the black sheep of the international community, something like the military junta of Argentina, and the semi-fascist states of Francoist Spain and Salazarist Portugal. Germany is under a mild military dictatorship but still has a Kaiser; Germany is also following it's Imperial borders minus Alsace but has eastern Belgium, and promoter of a European customs union and military alliance.

South America and Africa are rather much the same in my universe, though more countries in the latter and somewhat fewer in the former. Brazil is still part of the Kingdom of Portugal as an autonomous kingdom. The Congo basin is a recovering former German colony and post-apartheid state.

The Middle East is nominally under a still sickly Ottoman Empire, propped up by French, British, and German money and strategic bases and agreements. Persia is British aligned, and the Ottoman Empire has turned into a de facto confederation with lots of autonomy for areas like Mesopotamia, Kurdistan, and the Arab Peninsula kingdoms. The Holy Land is a British protectorate.

Countries that don't exist because of me: A lot of countries have bites taken out of them, like France (Major Ruritane is Southern France), South Africa, Argentina, Chile, and Russia. Countries that don't exist are Monaco (Ruritane owns Monte Carlo), Angola, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, and Mozambique.

Countries that exist because of me: Barotseland exists. Countries that claim to exist because of Ruritane include Izzard (a micronation in the capital), and the Nyaa Republic (cancer).

Real-life wars that I fought in: Every major European war and some international ones. Ruritane made ww2 end earlier than in your dimension, and with a more decisive victory for the Allies.

The Holy Catholic State is Portugal if the Carnation Revolution never happened. The dictator António Salazar had a son named Afonso, who came to power when he died. Instead of implementing democratic reform, Afonso Salazar continued (or even doubled down on) his father's authoritarian policies. So in this universe, the Portuguese Republic doesn't exist.

The planet that was once arrogant enough to call itself "the" world, as if there weren't any others even when they were looking at them through telescopes all the time, became instantly aware that they also weren't even the only populated world out there.

After the decolonization of Africa and the formation of new countries, in Nigeria, a socialist movement arose from the multiple social movements in search of a more equitable society. With a civil war in which the Equality Patriots triumph, the Nigerian Socialist State is established, supported by the USSR.
The Leader of that time, based on the model of the Soviet Union, wishes to form his own union for all of Africa.
Declaring war on neighboring countries, he managed to consolidate several West African countries under a single country called Anentova in 1972.
This would mark an important actor for what would happen after his training.

So Uruguay as we know it doesn't exist in this universe.
