I've never met one, so I don't have a personal opinion, other than "very weird", but then again, there's a lot of stuff I enjoy now that used to be offensive and weird to me before. When I was younger, I remember being extremely disturbed by death metal, but now it's one of my favourite music genres. Basically, as long as furries are not perving on minors, I think they're a subculture that has every right to exist, and I think it would be interesting to meet a furry or two to understand them better. It's the weebs and otakus that bother me more because their animated "waifus" are blatantly like five year old girls (with very big boobs sometimes).

I used to be one for more than a decade, the whole experience sucked the freaking life from me and I can probably count with one hand how many friends I made during that time.

Furries tend to be plain goddamn awful to one another, so my opinion of them is not that great.

Side note: I've had friends who either were or are Furries and I never despised them for it, I just accepted it, because after all its they're choice to become a furry not mine and I don't think of them any less then my other friends who aren't furries.

I myself as a furry might be a bit bias but i quite like the fandom, ive seen some really creative stuff being made, although i do have to admit we can be weird at times, i feel as if most of the hate towards furries comes from misinformation about the fandom and while yes we do have our bad apples doesnt every fandom at the end of the day?
