If that statistic is true, while it is a lot, it’s out of 1.9-2.25 billion people. Additionally, how many of those are just saying they sympathize with supposed terrorist causes, or would’ve themselves defend the terrorist states?

See this is the problem. Nowadays it seems like you can't say anything about Islam anymore without someone running down on you like what happened to that teacher. And remember the Charlie Hebdo massacre? They can make fun of everyone else but the moment they mock Mohammed somebody shoots them. I get annoyed when someone thinks their ideology is beyond criticism and should punish those who criticize it with death or serious injuries. That's bullshit.

One month before the Charlie Hebdo massacre in 2015, Islamist terrorists targeted a school in Peshawar, Pakistan, killing nearly 150 people, most of them schoolchildren. At the time, I called on the Pakistani Army to hunt down and exterminate the culprits and my views on Islam were only just beginning to sour. Charlie Hebdo was the turning point for me. Not long after Samuel Paty was physically canceled by an Islamist terrorist in Paris for displaying a cartoon of Mohammed to his class, yet another terror attack targeting another school in Peshawar has occurred, killing at least 8 people as of writing.

Uh... no. Also, jizya was a tax that was often less than zakat, and was not paid if you were minor, old, sick, poor, unemployed or a woman, and had to be refunded if the ruler failed to protect you.

Additionally, that’s not a tax. They aren’t paying protection money. Heck, they don’t have to pay them: If most Muslims heard of someone threatening to kill someone, they’d anonymously tip off the authorities.
