There have been Catholic presidents.

There's a lot of Catholics in government. Even if most of them are nominal.

In the history of U.S. presidents, there has only been one Catholic president, and he wasn't even a full-termer. If elected, Joe Biden would be the second.

By November, the US might have a Catholic President, a Catholic Speaker of the House, and a Catholic Chief Justice ;)

Since the word for angel isn't actually used and the word "Son of god" בְנֵי-הָאֱלֹהִים or "Sons of the god" we can cast doubt on whether or not these beings were angels.

The phrase "sons of god" is an interesting one because the term used for God here, אֱלֹהִים has been used to describe regular humans who exhibit some form of power as God is powerful (Moses, Aaron, judges, etc). Nephilim "fallen ones" therefore can just as easily refer to very powerful individuals who have fallen (sinned).

Preterist theologians typically support the interpretation that 666 is the numerical equivalent of the name and title Nero Caesar (Roman Emperor 54–68 AD).[20][21][22][23][24][25] Written in Aramaic, this can be valued at 666 using the Hebrew numerology of gematria, and was used to secretly speak against the emperor. Additionally, "Nero Caesar" in the Hebrew alphabet is נרון קסר‎ NRON QSR, which when interpreted numerically represents the numbers 50 200 6 50 100 60 200, which add up to 666.

I do not endorse gematria translations

Hebrew has multiple letters that can interchanged for single letters of other languages like Latin and English therefore any calculations made are intentional and not derivative. However when limited to just Hebrew words we can see interesting things like "mother" is 41 and "father" is 3 (1 and 2) the sum of both of these numbers are 44 which is the same value of "child" (10 and 30 and 4).

The sad part is Catholics aren't nearly as unified as nativists imagined. Catholic voters and Catholic politicians are scattered across American politics, as the opinions of Biden, Pelosi, and Roberts show. The division in Catholic voting does make us valuable "swing voters," but we're not a unified voting bloc.
