You really are hard headed aren't you? No, it means blending with the community and bringing the best parts of your culture to add to that community, rather than keeping out of it for fear of losing your culture. That is how we end up getting stuff like the issues europe is having with its immigrants. Ideally what would happen is the new arrivals would settle within the community, form relationships/friendships, and add to the richness of the community's culture, rather than demanding that their culture take precedence over the community's preexisting one. And once again...I never agreed with the woman on the frankly ridiculous shit she said. Now with that being said I think you need to perhaps pay a bit more attention to what people are saying before jumping to conclusions.

I wouldn't say most find their town unappealing. It's a combination of no one knowing that Marsyville is there, poverty entrapping many blacks, Latinos and Arabs in Detroit's West side, and probably now this lady's rant as well. I'm sure though that many minorities would rather live in Marysville than in detroit. Low crime, less pollution and less drug addicts.

It makes sense that towns like Marysville would be 99% white when minorities in america tend to cluster in certain areas as opposed to bring evenly distributed throughout the country
