This is the signup thread for the NationStates Stock Car Racing Association's third season. You may enter up to four drivers, but I ask that you list them in order of preference in case there are so many sign ups I can only take two or three. You do not have to enter 4 drivers if you don't want; you can just enter one if you like.

There will be a 23 race season. Nations may elect to host a race. Returning master nations may host a second race. If you choose to do so, please refer to these links on the interest thread here. Basically just pick a track and declare it as in your nation. Hands off Darlington, Greenville-Spartanburg, and Pepsi. Everything else is fair game. I will post a list of tracks I already have that I know will work for sure (some downloaded tracks have bad or no AI, and sometimes not enough pit stalls). So have at it.

There will be a field cutoff at 39 entries.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAINT YOUR CAR IF YOU DON'T WANT.
-If this is the case I will put your drivers' number and name on the car as well as your nation's flag. Pick your color if you want.
IF YOU DO WANT TO PAINT YOUR OWN CAR:
For the first time in NSSCRA you will actually be able to choose what your car looks like. There are templates available to paint on your own or you can request that I or Southwest 2Fort (or anyone else who offers) paint them for you, which we will happily oblige. Email your car paints to whittoria@yahoo.com once they are finished. There are only three rules to painting the cars:
1.) No obscenities
2.) Numbers must be clearly visible on both doors and on the roof facing the driver's window
3.) Leave a little space around the front wheel for contingencies. (aka, DON'T PUT CONTINGENCIES ON THE CAR)
3a.) Unless you have a contingency that is in one of these categories. Then TG me and I'll substitute yours onto your car.
Numbers are available from 0 to 99.
RP BONUS
The attributes you distribute points amongst are the max ratings. The minimum ratings can only be improved through RP and as incentive for returning for consecutive seasons.
A quality RP will earn you six points to be added to your minimum ratings across the board.
A decent RP will earn you three points to be added to your minimum ratings across the board.
A crappy RP will earn you no points, as will not RPing.
RP bonus will only count towards the next race.
Don't think a few points to the car won't affect your driver's performance? Trust me, they will.
TEAMS RETURNING FROM THE PREVIOUS SEASON
Teams who return for consecutive seasons will also receive a minimum rating boost:
1.) The returning NSSCRA champ (in this case Chip Woods) will receive a 15 point increase in minimums.
2.) The remaining top five point finishers that return will receive a 10 point increase in their minimums.
3.) All other teams returning from the previous season will receive a five point increase in their minimums.
First time participants will have a minimum of 40 across all minimums.
