Backstory/Biography: Anna Maria Sandesgeist was born during a calm, brisk night in Manhattan, NYC. Being the only child of two scientist parents who often bordered on being absentees, Anna would become a brilliant, yet distant child. Because she wasn't tended to as a child in the way that her peers were, she didn't develop a 'normal' emotional gauge, but she did feel a bit affected by the lack of parental attention she received, which is where her interest in science came from. She wouldn't begin to show her brilliance until middle school, however. Attending Verdant Collegiate Charter School as a new student in Grade 7, Anna was often quietly sat in a corner by herself, reading a book or studying while the other kids played and went on with their usual activities. The few times she tried to make friends, she would be ignored outright, or messed with. She would give up social interaction until Grade 12, when she was approached by an ambassador of the Burnside Academy for Brilliant Minds; a university for those with above-average intelligence and other advanced talents.
Anna's parents were well-known astronomers, who had just begun to pay their daughter attention...a bit too late, as she was now 17 and attending university. The Sandesgeist family were respected by a handful of organisations, and when they were approached to participate in the lunar habitation project, they couldn't say yes quickly enough. A number of years later, both Mr and Mrs Sandesgeist died in a classified accident on Luna. Shortly thereafter, a representative was scouting for talent at the Burnside Academy, when by chance, they met Anna. After learning who her parents were and looking into her academic background, she was invited to participate in the lunar habitation project. Not only would she be given space to work without someone breathing down her neck, she would also be given access to resources the project's committee had access to, as well as recreational assistance. The kicker? She would be able to continue her education if she wanted to, and would earn college credits simply for participating to the best of her ability! Seeing the opportunity to make her parents proud, and be part of something challenging, Anna almost teleported into the program's Conceptual Sciences Division.
Qualifications: Masters of Science - Burnside Academy | Masters of Techonology - Burnside Academy | Doctorate in Science - Burnside Academy (postponed; continued under Lunar Habitation School of Luna)
Appearance: Anna is a short young lady with a delicate frame. She often keeps her long black hair tied in a professional, office-style bun, with her bangs covering her soulful, brown eyes. Her skin has a touch of olive, and she tans easily. Good thing she lives on Luna! You can find her wearing either a white labcoat with the whole skirt and heels get up, or a simple t-shirt with canvas shorts. Only when she's doing the ambassador thing does she get on her suit-n-tie game.
Faction: The Free State of Luna
Role: Anna is one of the leading individuals of the Free State, though she still leads her team in the Conceptual Sciences and Innovation Division.
Motivation: She wants to create a society that would represent a model for future galactic civilizations to come, and one that would make her parents, and her faction, proud.
Other Information: I'll add when I think of stuff.
RP Example: Right here!

Description: The Free State of Luna is the birthchild of scientists, philosophers and spiritualists working with anti-government types who believe that Earth has no right to dictate what those who live on Luna do with their lives. Believing Luna, and by extension, all of space to be the property of those who live or were born in it (called "Spacenoids"), the Free State looks down on the "Earthnoids" who think they can tell them what to do. Because Earthnoids couldn't do it right in the 250,000+ years they've been living on the pale blue dot, there is no reason life on Luna would be much better under Earthen rule. The Free State feels that they don't even care about Luna; they only want her resources, and to see who wins the race to militarise her the way they almost militarised space. Self-determination, free will, and ultimate sovereignty of the individual and collective Spacenoids is the Free State's aim, and they want no part in handing over resources they could use to the greedy Earthnoids who will only continue their planet-decaying wars until Earth literally falls apart.
In addition, the Free State is pseudo-racist, in that they believe Spacenoids are humanity's next step in evolution. Those who call Luna their home are a new type of human; a Spacenoid. Those still bound by Earth's constraints don't have the stuff necessary to evolve, and thus would likely ruin Lunar society with their grounded, earthbound perspective. This includes any Lunar collectives still loyal or promoting submission to the Earth government. Perhaps the most agreeable view they have is that of libertarianism; where the government should be small as possible, and protect the life, liberty and property of its people. Religion has no place in the state, and there is strong separation of state and church. Those who still believe in mythical sky parents and push that ideology are also people who would not get along with the Free State.
Members: Out of 100? Um, 10?
Other Information: They're basically scientific, space Buddhist shaman Nazis who want a strong economic, political, scientific and military to either get Earth to piss off or be blown off...of the galactic map! They will not engage in war unless you are an aggressor in any form or fashion, or otherwise actively inhibit their road to independence and self-determinism.

I think that number is a little unrealistic for a group of people who are... well... pretty insane, if I'm being honest. Other than that, it seems alright. By the way, just about every view of your group folds into the views of the Separatists, just saying.
Also, although I told you this via telegram, Cristo, it's not your job to be co-OP, alright?
Anyway, I'll fix the roster tomorrow, I woke up at 4 AM, so I'm pretty tired.
