It's reported with incredible regularity, but has not ever exceeded 8 lines (to the best of my knowledge), and even my smallish laptop avers that.

Note: the eight line rule is calculated based on a standard desktop computer with a 1600 pixel widescreen monitor. Please don't bother reporting wordy sigs from your phone or tablet unless you're certain it has extra new lines, not just wrapped text.

Ah, my bad. I'm usually on my phone while browsing the forums, and I could've sworn I saw it was longer than 8 lines while on my computer, but I guess not.

I honestly don't understand why anyone using a phone would leave sigs enabled. You can disable via a checkbox in the UCP very easily, and there's certainly no value to display sigs all the time. Or in my case, at any time. They're repetitive and pointless and just consume download bandwidth.

The very few people who actually benefit from reading sigs can do so easily by clicking on the forum profile should they actually need the information on what wars they've won, or what their DEFCON is this week. Worst of all are the completely pointless sig memes, like the really dumb one about Facebook and Justin Bieber, or the mostly dumb ones about a guy in a hat describing your economic preferences. Or worse, the incredibly dumb ASCII Art tanks or other idiocy. Thank the Powers That Be that we don't allow images in sigs.

It was over the limit by one blank line a little wile back. I corrected it when it was pointed out that I had a blank line on the bottom.

I'm referring to the quote in the bottom right portion of his signature. I don't know if this is against the rules, but I did not make that quote, and I don't want that showing on his signature at all. Your help would be much appreciated.
