As a commenter on the thread, I can say with certainty that no one is derailing it intentionally. It's about a GMO conspiracy theory, it is bound to go all over the place.

No, people are trying to sort out the difference between opinions, and crossing the line into flaming/baiting/trolling. Also, even though this thread was titled without the standard [Report] tag, as it should have been, you shouldn't be commenting in it. Thanks.
