Did I suddenly become the new PIS or something? That's the second high-profile tournament final I've lost in the past few weeks.

Anyways, congrats to Allamunnic States. If WikiStates has an accurate list of the early World Bowl champions, that breaks the record for World Bowl titles. Thanks to Estope for hosting, as well.

Also, if nobody has any objections, I'm going to go on WikiStates and update the table with the information on World Bowl hosts, champions, runners-up, etc. If nothing else, I feel like that should be up to date.

In updating the table, I realized something amusing (at least for myself, Cass, and Qazox):

Out of the six nations in World Bowl 7's Group E (Qazox, Cassadaigua, Tocrowkia, The Babbage Islands, Steroga, The Fanboyists/Allamunnic States), between World Bowl 7 and World Bowl 23, we have accounted for 8 out of 17 champions and 12 out of 34 finals berths. Even if only two-and-a-half of us are still active, we've done pretty well for ourselves.

Anyways, congrats to the Fanboyists for beating me twice winning the tournament, and to Saintland as well for a close run. And, of course, to our hosts Estope.

Alright, my 3 bowls is up, time to find a new president. I [Karditan] will not be looking for re-election, as my interest in NS has been dwindling of late and the mantle should go to someone more active.

World Bowl Assembly members (listed here [now alphabetized!]) may nominate one (1) other WBA member for the position of WBA president. Nominations should be telegrammed to this nation (World Bowl). Any one who accrues at least two nominations will be entered into the election. Nominations will close in four days (Friday, June 27th).

Nominations are now closed; two nations reached the required number of nominations. WBA members should choose one of the following options and TG it to this nation (World Bowl).

I hope I'll be a good World Bowl Assembly President, and would like to offer my commiserations to Saintland, who will take over my old position of Vice-President for the next few World Bowls before he inevitably stages a coup and drives me out of office.

Anyways, Saintland mentioned an idea he had to me in a TG that I think merits some discussion: Considering that Newmanistan (the current thread OP) has CTE'd and is unlikely to return permanently, it may be wise to create a new World Bowl Discussion Thread with the World Bowl account as OP with the Constitution and current rankings on the first post to make them much easier to find than they currently are. I am inclined to agree with Saintland here and go forward with making a new thread. However, I'd like to hear the opinion of the rest of the World Bowl community first before posting.
