As for the barrel that was another mistake and shall be changed.
It did see combat, albeit in a very limited capacity (sorry, didn't notice you were using the Porsche Tiger's stats - in a bit of a rush this morning).
Complexity's one way of putting it - it was also hellishly unreliable (though not entirely through faults in its design). What it lacked in the needless complexity of the Tiger I's front-drive, it more than made up for with its faulty alternate drivetrain.
