No, that's their definition of bipartisanship. Their idea of negotiating is John Boehner, with the Tea Party caucus looking over his shoulder, telling the Democrats what their opinion is.

At least, in my experience at least.

Nope, he's a Democrat, so opposing him tooth and nail is a civic duty. Its only unpatriotic to question what Republican presidents do, remember?

The annual Milliman Medical Index (MMI) measures the total cost of healthcare for a typical family of four covered by a preferred provider organization (PPO) plan. The 2012 MMI cost is $20,728, an increase of $1,335, or 6.9% over 2011. The rate of increase is not as high as in the past, but the total dollar increase was still a record. This is the first year the average cost of healthcare for the typical American family of four has surpassed $20,000.

People often seem to miss one important consequence of living in a democracy. The government reflects the will of the people.
If people are apathetic about intrusions on privacy, the government will intrude on privacy.
If people are extreme and unwilling to see other's views, the government will refuse to work with itself.
If people are lazy enough to believe whatever their echo chamber tells them, than government will reflect those views and run around in circles.

Gig government is bad government, small government can be highly effective in the areas that it is constitutionally meant to be apart of.
Small government does not equate to a weak government.

I'd love to know about this Party that supports ''small'' government. Who are they?
