Since Katothwa Re lacks the idiom of a bombshell in the sense of "a shocking surprise" or "something devastating or unexpected," I went with the closest Katothwa Re idiom. Bacs Lodahn was an otherwise unremarkable naval officer who gained notoriety with a cross-the-Rubicon style gamble that saved Wo'n Darshekeen from invasion by its neighbor to the east.

Faced with nearly 2-to-1 odds, Lodahn set out to use fire ships in the hopes of evening things up. However, the enemy's approach was not in a sufficiently closed stretch of water to count on the fire ships making contact, so Lodahn chose to count on the opposite. He rigged about a third of his fleet as well as he could to look like they had been sacrificed as fire ships, but ordered crews to hide in the holds. This forced the Wochik crews into action early, which actually worked in their favor, as the boarding parties were small and easily dispatched. The catapults were fired as crews rolled out their regular canons and set to work cutting down the invasion fleet from the inside while it was surrounded by the other two thirds of Lodahn's forces. The fires started by these crews, who all gave their lives in the defense of their country, were more devastating than Lodahn could have hoped. Although the battle was far from a rout, it was a sound victory for Wo'n Darshekeen and secured her control over her home waters from that time until the present.
