I just spotted this off of a Wikipedia link and figured you fellas might appreciate this as much as I do:

Count those Adders. Also, I hear it has two auxiliary bays in the wings for two Archers and that those main bays can fit two Arrows each. All it needs is a NATO reporting name and it's a big boy.
The necessity of a navy, in the restricted sense of the word, springs, therefore, from the existence of a peaceful shipping, and disappears with it, except in the case of a nation which has aggressive tendencies, and keeps up a navy merely as a branch of the military establishment. 1

Et tu, Su-34 'Fullback'?

I remember shooting down 8 of those with an F-4E during operation Able Maple back in '08.

Not too long ago... I pretty much pwned a few Pelicans and some sort of space-fighter.

The Sukhoi T-50 PAK-FA still does not have a NATO reporting name. I find that rather odd, as most other fighters have had a reporting name by this point in their development cycle.

I know, but it might have as many as 6 external hard points in addition to the bays according to Wikipedia. I find that a rather impressive potential combat load for a fighter.

The Arkinesian Confederate Air Force uses several domestically-developed types.

Formation of prototype aircraft from left to right: F-14E Block II “Ultracat,” F-59A Sabre II, F-56A Magnum. Some aircraft employing decoy US markings. F-56A and F-14E are air superiority fighters (though the F-14E is used in strike roles as well). F-59A is used as a multirole.

C-27 “Pegasus” is the primary transport of the ACAF.

The RB-7A “Phoenix” is the primary bomber of the ACAF. B-70 is still sometimes used.

The ACAF possesses a small number of superheavy-lift C-50 transports.

The most common multirole in ACAF service is the F-48A “Sparrow” variant.

List of aircraft used in the Leasath Repúblicas da Força Aérea as of 2018:

Northrop F-5A/B Freedom Fighter

Image

The Northrop F-5A/B Freedom Fighter was a Californian-made fighter made as a light-weight fighter aircraft meant for California's smaller allies. In 1963, the (then) Republic of Leasath purchased about 200 F-5As and 130 F-5Bs. They served very well in the Força Aérea. Even after the socialists took power in a coup d'état in 1990, the Freedom Fighter is still in service. Though the aircraft is now being phased out and replaced by the MiG-21-93 'Fishbed', the more advanced MiG-29A 'Fulcrum', MiG-29M 'Fulcrum-E', the Sukhoi Su-27 'Flanker', and now, the MiG-35 'Fulcrum-F'.

Mikoyan MiG-21-93 'Fishbed'

Image

When the Socialist coup d'état took place in 1990, the Leasathian Socialists had the Birkainians' full support, and starting after said coup took place, the Birkainians and Rossiyans have been supplying the Leasathians with arms. In 1993, the Birkainians offered the (then) newly-founded Leasath Republics to try out an upgraded version of the late-model MiG-21s. This became known as the MiG-21-93.

This package provides an upgrade of the avionics suite that includes installation of the Kopyo pulse-doppler radar, smaller version of N010 Zhuk airborne radar used by the MiG-29, which enables the aircraft to fire a greater range of modern weapons such as the beyond-visual-range Vympel R-77 air-to-air missile. The upgraded avionics also enhance the aircraft's survivability as well as its ability to engage enemy fighters. Other upgrade features include installation of a dual-screen HUD, helmet-mounted target designator, and advanced flight control systems.

The Birkainians originally intended this venture for the MiG-21-93 to be a sort of "lend-lease" for the Leasathians until they can afford to buy more advanced Birkainian and Rossiyan fighters such as the 'Fulcrum' and 'Flanker' series fighters. The Leasathians intend to return the 'Fishbeds' to the Birkainians in 2020.

Mikoyan MiG-29A 'Fulcrum'

Image

In the late 1990's, the Leasathians managed to obtain the funds to acquire a more advanced fighter type; Enter, the MiG-29A 'Fulcrum'. The Leasathians took very well to this fighter. It had great dogfighting capabilities, which was used to great success against Britannic fighters over the Terminus Islands in 1998. The MiG-29A is still used by the Força Aérea as an air defense fighter, often patrolling the skies above the Terminus Islands and Leasath Republics' northern border with Dystara, which is currently in a state of dispute. It is also used as an aggressor fighter for training new pilots. The 'Fulcrum' is slowly being succeeded in Força Aérea service by its descendants: the MiG-29M 'Fulcrum-E'/'Super Fulcrum'; and the multirole MiG-35 'Fulcrum-F'.

Mikoyan MiG-29M 'Fulcrum-E'/'Super Fulcrum'

Image

In 2010, the Leasathians noticed that their 'Fulcrums' were in need of an upgrade to keep up with the more state-of-the-art Gen 4.5 fighters like the Californian-built F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, the Euro Asian Eurofighter Typhoon, the Eslovakian JAS-39 Gripen, and the Ameri Rafale family. The Birkainians, seeing the Leasathians in such a situation, offered them an upgrade to the MiG-29As in Leasathian service. This offer was initially known as the MiG-33, but later became better known as the MiG-29M 'Fulcrum-E', often nicknamed the 'Super Fulcrum'. Though there are not as many MiG-29Ms in Força Aérea service as the newer MiG-35s, the MiG-29As are still being upgraded to the M standard. Leasath Republics expects all their MiG-29As to be upgraded to the M model by 2023.

Sukhoi Su-27 'Flanker'

Image

In the late 1990's, the Leasath Republics bought about 150 Sukhoi Su-27 'Flankers' from Rossiya. The Leasathians were impressed by its thrust-to-weight ratio and its awe inspiring maneuverability. The 'Flanker' saw service in the Terminus Islands War of 1998 as an air superiority fighter to counter against the Britannic RAF's Panavia Tornado strike fighters and the Britannic Royal Navy's Sea Harriers alongside the MiG-29A Fulcrum.

The Leasathians expect to retire their Su-27s by the year 2025, and replace them with more advanced Su-35S 'Flanker-E's.

Mikoyan MiG-35 'Fulcrum-F'

Image

In 2015, the Leasath Repúblicas Força Aérea began to look for a new fighter to bolster their MiG-29As that were (and still are) being upgraded to the M model. Their requirement called for a multirole aircraft that could operate in all weather and battle conditions; one that could attack ground targets, yet be able to dogfight. They were equally impressed with their two candidates, the Mikoyan MiG-35 'Fulcrum-F' and the Sukhoi Su-30MKI 'Flanker-H'. Both were equally impressive in the eyes of the Leasathians, and they both have outstanding maneuverability thanks to thrust vectoring.

They chose to have equal amounts of both fighters in their arsenal, and they entered service in the Força Aérea less then a year later. Combined in numbers, they overtook the Força Aérea's inventory of Freedom Fighters, 'Fishbed's, 'Fulcrum's, 'Flanker's, and 'Fulcrum-E's; and those were just in the fighter branch.

Sukhoi Su-30MKI 'Flanker-H'

Image

The second half of the combined multirole package that the Leasath Republics Military chose, was the Sukhoi Su-30MKI 'Flanker-H'. Like the MiG-35, the Su-30MKI is a all-weather multirole aircraft, equipped with thrust vectoring. The TVC in both the 'Fulcrum-F' and the 'Flanker-H' make both aircraft truly a match for current Generation 4.5 fighters used by the West. These fighters are currently being seen patrolling the Terminus Islands alongside the MiG-29A and MiG-29M, while the MiG-35s are seen patrolling the coastlines alongside Su-27s. On rare occasions, the Su-30MKIs are seen patrolling the northern border alongside the MiG-35.

Douglas A-4 Skyhawk

Image

In the late 1960's, the (then) Republic of Leasath was looking for a light fighter-bomber to compliment the F-5A/B Freedom Fighters. The Californian-built Douglas A-4 Skyhawk fit that role, and in 1969, Leasath ordered about 350 of the A-4C model and 50 of the TA-4F two-seat trainer model.

When the Socialists took power in a coup d'état in 1990, the A-4C and TA-4F were still in service. Though they were used in combat against Britannian forces in the Terminus Islands war of 1998, half of the A-4C force were shot down by the Britannic Royal Navy's Harriers. These losses were due to the Leasathians recklessly sending their A-4Cs to attack the Britannic Royal Navy's carriers without fighter cover early in the conflict.

In the following years, the Força Aérea began a long term upgrade for their remaining Skyhawks. The result was the A-4LR Skyhawk, along with its trainer version, the OA-4LR. These Skyhawks are expected to remain in service well into the 21st Century.

Dassault-Breguet Super Étendard

Image

In 1976, the (then) Republic of Leasath was looking for another attacker aircraft for the Força Aérea; this time in the anti-shipping role. The Leasathians saw the deadly AM-39 Exocet missile as the perfect weapon for their maritime defense needs. For this, they purchased 200 of Amerique's Dassault-Breguet Super Étendard. Even after the 1990 coup d'état, the Super Étendard remained in service, as the Socialists saw its continued importance in the anti-shipping role.

In the Terminus Islands war of 1998, the Super Étendards, escorted by MiG-29As and Su-27s were successful in preventing the Britannians from retaking the Terminus Islands, with the inclusion of the sinking of the Britannic Invincible-class carrier, HMS Vengeance, and a number of destroyers and frigates, and damaging the Ark Royal-class CVA, HMS Eagle.

The Super Étendard is still in active service today in the maritime defense role, with no plans on it being retired any time soon.

Mikoyan MiG-27 'Flogger-D'

Image

Though it is not in as great of numbers as the Skyhawk or Super Étendard, the variable geometry MiG-27 is a important strike fighter in use by the Leasath Repúblicas Força Aérea. These ground attack fighters are normally stationed near Leasath Republics' northern border.

Sukhoi Su-25 'Frogfoot'

Image

The mainstay CAS fighter of the Leasath Repúblicas Força Aérea. These attackers were used heavily in the Terminus Islands War as close air support for the ground forces of the Leasath Repúblicas Exército, with great success since they had MiG-29A escorts. The Su-25 still remains in active service, stationed at airbases all over Leasath Republics.

Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25M 'Foxbat-H'

Image

When the Leasath Repúblicas Força Aérea was looking for an interceptor, the Birkainians offered an upgraded version of the MiG-25 'Foxbat', known as the MiG-25M. The Leasathians in turn purchased about ninety of these upgraded interceptors. Upgrades include, but are not limited to, more powerful (98.04 kN (22,045 lbf) dry, 129.71 kN (29,166 lbf) with afterburner) engines; digital links for commands and co-ordination with other MiG-25Ms, the same type of digital links used on the MiG-31 'Foxhound' interceptor; and an updated version of the RP-25 Smerch radar. The MiG-25M was used with great success in the Terminus Islands War in intercepting and shooting down half of the Britannic Royal Air Force's Avro Vulcan bomber force.

End of part one.

SR-45 Flying Stingray Stealth Fighter
-A recent addition to the New Nassraunian arsenal, this plane cannot turn too fast on a dime, however this stealth interceptor can be used to engage other aircraft of strike targets

SR-40 Flying Shark Multi-Role Fighter
-This is the main multirole fighter of the Second Republic of New Nassrau. Using many of it's advanced capabilities, it is most relatable to an F-22, howver slightly faster and more maneuverable

SR-42 Flying Orca Lightweight Multirole Fighter
-This is also a new fighter in the Airforce. Using some STVOL technology, even helicopter carriers can accommodate this new fighter. Also, there are unmanned variants!
