I don't even know where the guidance office is. Nobody has ever told me, nor do I know what to do about it...

You can do that or talk to some other type of counselor. Ask at the school office where such a guidance counselor is at your school or ask your parents to take you to talk to one. Mind you, I'm not talking about going to see a shrink. I don't think that's what you need. But perhaps someone who can listen to those questions and help you decide upon a course of action that's best for you.

Just know that at your age, sometimes, we do need a bit of help from more experienced people. (not me, of course, I wouldn't dare consider myself such)
