You forgot the psychological analysis, you should probably mention something about how I'm secretly just afraid of a certain group of people and thus want to control them rather than face my fear, and that I'm also afraid of change. You also forgot to pad your post out into three paragraphs and add a few anecdotes, probably involving where you used to work and how you have direct experience in what you're talking about.

Congratulations to all who won. I'll have to increase my visibility if I want to win one. Thanks to LG for my one nomination.

Say, NK, is there a list of all nominations by category?

This reward would probably be an insult to good debate, since people on this forum think that a 'good refutation' is one that merely is incredibly long, has good vocabulary and has very subtle ad hominems in the form of irritatingly psuedo-intellectual psychological analysis of the opponent and his 'obvious' ulterior motive behind his post. The groupthink effect will take place in the form of a subsequent circlejerk around how much that poster just 'annihilated' his opponent, with continuing reference to his opponent in the third person whilst not actually addressing him personally.

Wait, I'm confused. Isn't this pretty much what always happens with the "Best debater" categories anyway? :p

Congrats to the winners. Most of my nominations came out with an award, which is cool.

I think there should be a 'Best New Zealander Award'.. I think I would have a shot!

Not to be bitter but screw the lot of you.

I am the beating heart and soul of NSG, I'm going to have to console myself by buying into the belief that everyone chose these nominations on the assumption that 'Apart from Barringtonia, who is the best [insert award], I will select [insert 2nd best poster].

In fact, screw it, I'm taking all the trophies.

I nominated you, though, and as everyone should know by now it's only my nominations that are important. Neo Kervoskia, unfortunately, didn't realize that, that's why he counted other people's nominations in there as well.

Good idea, but quite overlapping with the debate trophies, I think. Hence, meh.

Uh, Kashindahar went from 0 to 1277 in a month. And the top posters (such as G_n_i and Maurepas) have post counts of 40-50 a day.
