Actually it isn't. We have had multiple threads about us and will probably have a lot more. And honestly, we welcome them for the most part. We are human and if we have made a mistake, we'd rather find out. We'd also like to make sure that people know that we're human and approachable.

Generally speaking moderators (especially volunteer moderators) are the poor souls who used to love the site they are now moderating. But now they see the worst of all the players and it becomes more of a chore to sign in every day.

I think it is a wonderful testament to NS, the type of player it attracts, and thus the type of Mod they enlist, that many of the Mods are so long standing and for the most part are still able to enjoy the game/site.

Mods, to tell you the truth I've never encountered one.

But I can clearly see that they take their jobs seriously, which is a good thing plus they're really nice(unless you do something against the rules then apocalypse begins for said person at least)
