I think that would kind of go against my ethos (but there may have been that one time on a friend's game... There was much fire involved)

I find the well the most irritating when reworking a village to make it easier to get around. Not living near the village, not so sure about that, not technically cheating, but it feels like an exploit if you're deliberately doing that instead of normal play.

If I had the time to play Minecraft, I'd probably waste it flying around with Elytra anyway.

Restart your conputer, maybe? That worked for me.
Pro: tolerance, individualism, technocratism, democratism, freedom, freedom of speech and moderate religious expression, the ban on hate speech, constitutional monarchism, the Rhine model
Against: intolerance, radicalism, strong discrimination, populism, fascism, nazism, communism, totalitarianism, authoritarianism, absolutarianism, fundamentalism, strong religious expression, strong nationalism, police states

I think it's going to be a major shakeup. I'm definitely going to need a few sessions of Creative playtesting to get used to the new stuff, particularly dual wielding.

I hate the look of it. I only play minecraft for the multiplayer pvp and I'm pretty good at it but 1.9 will probably fuck it all up.
thank christ the two servers I play on will only update some of their gamemodes and will disable most of the 1.9 features.

I'm on PS3 and I thought the update would still be cool despite PS3 not getting the update. I can still go with my infallible battle tactic of jumping up and down around someone and swinging my weapon wildly though.

There's basically no change whatsoever to the graphics.

Actually there are some fairly significant graphics related changes in 1.9. Nothing that would show up to the average player though. Well you'll get slightly better FPS, but that's about it.

it's more GPU intensive and less CPU intensive now, great for people like me with bad CPUs but good GPUs

Any one else try the trendy update yet? I have to say the reality goggles are quite nifty and I hope there'll keep a way to access the screen it gives you in the future.

You should try using a video game controller (like an X-Box controller) then. It helps with the difficult controls as long as you can set it up right.

I really hope its just paranoia, but I think my minecraft account was hacked; I got an email on saturday (6 days ago) saying that I changed my password, but I never did, as I haven't even tried to log into my account in weeks.

I'm starting to get really scared. I tried Minechat, which has my login info pre-set, and it didn't work. If that didn't work, it means I've probably had my account stolen!
