Coop Survey!
Your nation's name The Vermillion Republic of Sorrelia
What is the economic model/system of your nation? Socialist planned economy
Are coops (voluntary associations of individuals wanting to achieve a common goal) permitted in your nation? Yes. Next to state-owned enterprises, cooperatives are the most common form of economic organization. After the Marksist revolution many non-vital medium businesses were forced to become cooperatives rather than be nationalized, and remaining small businesses face encouragement to reform into cooperatives as well. Any group of workers can start a cooperative by petitioning their local government and planning authority and convincing them that their idea for a co-op is economically sound and is in the interests of the community
If so, how many are there? Tens if not hundreds of thousands.
What sectors do they serve? i.e. banking, insurance, farming, groceries... Almost everything except complex industry and finance (which is all state-owned). Most notably, most farms are run as co-operatives. One of the largest supermarket chains in the nation, MalMart, has also been reformed into a series of cooperatives.
What percentage do they contribute to the national economy? Roughly one third

Your nation's name Imperial Federation of Brazil
What is the economic model/system of your nation? Rhenish Model (social market economy)
Are coops (voluntary associations of individuals wanting to achieve a common goal) permitted in your nation? Yes.
If so, how many are there? A myriad of them, although most operate on a limited scale. They are concentrated in the Southeast and the South, the majority of them founded either by European immigrants or, more recently, by ethnic or religious minorities.
What sectors do they serve? Farming and finances are relatively common. Others, not so much.
What percentage do they contribute to the national economy? 8%, and growing.

Your nation's name Incorporated States of Grand Meridian
What is the economic model/system of your nation? Free market capitalist economy
Are coops (voluntary associations of individuals wanting to achieve a common goal) permitted in your nation? Yes. Coops are completely unregulated except by contract & corporate law and they are legally treated as no different than ordinary corporations. The officers of coops have the same fiduciary duties to its members (shareholders) that any other corporation would and their affairs are governed by a corporate charter just like a corporation.
If so, how many are there? Since they are legally indistinguishable from joint stock corporations, we don't have a number.
What sectors do they serve? Various.
What percentage do they contribute to the national economy? Quite a bit but I don't have a number. Like I said, we don't keep track.

Coop Survey!
Your nation's name The Empire of Tangatarehua
What is the economic model/system of your nation? Capitalism with Rehuan characteristics (i.e. capitalism closely bordering on corporatism)
Are coops (voluntary associations of individuals wanting to achieve a common goal) permitted in your nation? It's complicated. There are no specific laws prohibiting them, however they are not part of the nation's very tightly organised economic strategy and are not recognised as one of the five pillars of the Rehuan economy.

That said, Rōpū pūtea nui (domestic corporations) often function in ways that are similar to co-operatives. For example a worker at a particular Rōpū pūtea nui will be entitled to generous banking/loan offers from the associated financial institution of that corporation.

However unlike co-operatives, these corporations are seldom run democratically and trace their origins to the feudal era in which workers and their entire families are considered beneficiaries of the corporation as a whole, which is permitted to grow as large and as powerful as it likes.

If so, how many are there? Difficult to say as they are not specifically recognised by the Office of Trade and Industry as a category of enterprise.
What sectors do they serve? i.e. banking, insurance, farming, groceries... Unknown
What percentage do they contribute to the national economy? Unknown

Coop Survey!
Your nation's name Juansonia
What is the economic model/system of your nation? Mixed-Market economy with a public sector.
Some goods and services are provided for by the governments as public benefit, and government agencies handle these. However, most economic activity occurs within a formal market comprised of state-owned enterprise, private enterprise, cooperative enterprise, and other means of formal economic participation (one-person businesses, freelance work, family farms, etc.).
Are coops (voluntary associations of individuals wanting to achieve a common goal) permitted in your nation? Yes, although there isn't much legal distinction between cooperative and other business structures.
Cooperatives are almost always Section 5 corporations, due to share allocation being dynamic and governed solely by the corporate charter. Joint-Stock corporations are usually Section 3(or 4), while family businesses are Section 6.
If so, how many are there? They legally are (mostly) indistinguishable from other commercial entities, so there is no official number. However, there are probably thousands.
What sectors do they serve? i.e. banking, insurance, farming, groceries...Co-ops are common across a variety of industries, especially in agricultural, industrial, and retail sectors. San Augusto Weapons MAnufacturing Co-Op, one of the largest single-factory manufacturing companies in Juansonia, is the primary manufacturer of small arms used by the Juansonian Armed Forces.
What percentage do they contribute to the national economy? Again, an exact figure is unavailable.

What is the economic model/system of your nation? Decentralized market socialism
Are coops (voluntary associations of individuals wanting to achieve a common goal) permitted in your nation? Yes, and voluntary worker cooperatives both dominate and are the entire basis of our nation's economic system.
If so, how many are there? Too many to count, as all multi-person enterprises (excepting for branches of foreign-owned corporations operating in our nation) are organized as cooperatives.
What sectors do they serve? Cooperatives operate in nearly all sectors, due to their dominance in our nation.

Are coops (voluntary associations of individuals wanting to achieve a common goal) permitted in your nation? Cooperatives, in the sense of collectively owned enterprises, are prohibited alongside any other form of enterprise. Of course, if people want to come together to achieve a common goal in a non-commercial, non-monetary manner, they are free to do so.
If so, how many are there? In the enterprise sense, none. Voluntary associations are plentiful, and the number is of course constantly shifting.
What sectors do they serve? Again in the enterprise sense, none.
What percentage do they contribute to the national economy? 0%, in the enterprise sense.

Your nation's name: Holy and Incorruptible Tsardom of the Exhaustive Realms of the Confederate Turtles, Mushrooms, and Men of TurtleShroom.

What is the economic model/system of your nation? Capitalism with mercantilist characteristics. The only real regulations are liability for injuries and death, banning work on Sundays.

Are co-ops permitted in your nation? Yes, corporations have no restrictions in how they organize. Corporate governance is limited only by the owners' imaginations.

If so, how many are there?
Member cooperatives are present in utilities like water and electricity, insurance, healthcare, and more. TurtleShroomian law defines a cooperative organization as a corporation in which all who hold shares or invest in it (plus employees) have a single vote. Each voter has a single vote, and they elect from among themselves the board of directors. Member cooperatives are considered particularly ethical and honorable, even if they aren't non-profit. Member cooperatives, interestingly enough, are structured very similarly to congregationalist churches.

What sectors do they serve?
Member cooperatives dominate finance. For-profit, non-cooperative banks (outside of the religious John bankers) are viewed with suspicion and are often fronts for rich foreigners to park their funds in a place their government can't find it.

What percentage do they contribute to the national economy? They encompass almost all aspects of domestic finance and make up most of the lion's share of insurance.
