I do think it is an awesome place though... the Kremlin is beautiful, Siberia has amazing desolate majesty (that's what my cousin told me at least).

aye countries commit crimes during warfare but those committed by the soviets were on a pretty large scale, in fact the only equal to the sheer mass of abuse would be Hitler.
yes there was propaganda by both sides in the cold war, but i think there is plenty of evidence to go by that does prove the Soviet armies did some very nasty stuff in WW2.
