Tsear FC once again proved that they are the best club in Saterun, capturing both the A. Liga and their first Four Island Cup. Qeuthun FC managed to get a second Copa Nacional, adding to their trophy cabinet. Xaiv 1919 had a good cup run for a team slumped in form, but something has to change for the Sharks soon. An explosion of foreign talent this season will make the transfer window extra spicy, with Ifran Rahadi, Ricardo Goncalves, and Rillr Sawdare all looking hot prospects. With the bank accounts of some clubs looking large, we will certainly see some high-profile moves in the near future.

Tero al Disco (TER) final site bids
IFCF Associations' Trophy: Estadio de la República, Tero al Disco (Capacity 64.400)
The República stadium is unanimously considered to be the cathedral of Terense football. Built during ATF season 1962 in the capital city of Tero al Disco, Tero al Disco, it has grown to get that status thanks to being the biggest stadium in the country by a long shot, as well as transforming itself into the spiritual home of the Terense national team.

I've already said in this WCQ roster post that it's the only stadium considered to be fit for international standards, but it still may fall short of other stadiums bid in this thread. However, one thing about it is that it's still designed for a great atmosphere. Being in the shape of something of a pointy oval (since it also features a track, as it was built to also host athletics events), it has one fully terraced stand, as the other ones have a terraced bottom tier, and a seated top tier, which always makes for an electrifying atmosphere for big matches, where you can see sixty thousand people jumping and moving around. Some Terense engineers, executives and fans have suggested that it be turned into an all-seater, but whoever's in charge of it have refused, for the same reasons I mentioned in the sentence before.

Due to the league being closed to teams outside Tero al Disco Capital for 100 years, the "big 2" in Tero al Disco, Gimnasia y Bala and Nacional Terense, as well as the "best of the rest" are all located in or around the capital, so that's how it always hosts the big fixtures.

SEASON 11 RESULTS

The Super League á Mertagne (SLAM) is Mertagne’s top flight football league, and determines its domestic championship winners. Currently containing an elite selection of 12 teams, the SLAM is one of Mertagne’s most exciting domestic competitions, and we're contractually obliged to place it in bold text - it's got that much of an impact.
It is unique in leagues across the multiverse in that draws are penalised - in an attempt to create more exciting matches, if there is a tie in score after 90 minutes, a penalty shootout is held to determine the winner. Both teams get a point if the match goes to penalties, and the team that wins the shootout gains an extra point for their victory. The league is played in a double-round robin format, with each team playing each other twice - once home and once away.

The winners of the SLAM receive a place in the IFCF Champions Cup, and the CAFA LigAnaia. The next three teams receive a place in the IFCF Challenger’s Cup.

Teams in the SLAM, as well as others from further down Mertagne’s domestic pyramid, are also placed into the Birch Memorial Cup, a longstanding cup competition in Mertagne that commemorates the life of Bradley Birch, one of the Calanian Union’s finest players. The winners of this cup competition are given a place in the Cup Winner’s Cup and the CAFA LigAnaia. As this competition finishes after the SLAM season, if the winner of the cup competition also finishes first in the SLAM standings, the 2nd placed team in the SLAM standings receives the CAFA LigAnaia place instead.

Another thrilling season of the Super League á Mertagne has concluded, and this season Lehen Neorudo managed to emerge victorious after the season's run of 22 games. Lehen had a rocky start to the season, dropping their first game at home on Matchday 1 to the freshly promoted Mondragons, after an own goal saw the Old Guard start off on the back foot and fail to recover. Matchday 1 also saw Blades de Bretsaar come out of the gate swinging, with an 8-1 drubbing of NF Red Tri's that, coupled with a 5-0 sweep of Mondragons at the Scabbard on Matchday 3, saw BdB come out of the first month of matches with a lofty +11 goal difference. Their Matchday 2 loss to Lehen Neorudo, however, placed them merely third on the table, with FMFC Ninestar pulling ahead at that early stage. The Niners would struggle after this point however, as back-to-back losses to Kurtz Herritik, Mondragons, and Century Mertagne saw them slip further down the table in the ensuing matchdays.

The most thrilling penalty shootout of the season would come as early as Matchday 2, as New Fligsive's Memory took to the Flynn Ar3na against Century Mertagne, and neither side managed to put in a goal within 90 minutes. The ensuing shootout saw an amazing 15 goals scored, with the home side only just managing to eke ahead by 8 penalties to Century's 7.

Century Mertagne FMFC, despite winning just eight of their games within 90 minutes, were the undisputed bosses of the penalty shootout this season, managing to claw back seven extra points just through winning shootouts alone. Those seven points allowed them to clinch third from what could have been ninth, and ensured their entry into the IFCF Challenger's Cup after the season.

Kurtz Herritik enjoyed a long spell at the top of the table, pulling ahead over New Fligsive's Memory on Matchday 11 by winning against them at the Flynn Ar3na 1-0, and remaining at the top spot all the way until the penultimate matchday, remaining within chasing distance of Lehen Neorudo who were ahead by just two points, New Fligsive's Memory would head to the Origas arena with one thing on their mind - revenge, and they would ultimately, achieved everything they wanted, as Olaia Charlemagne came through in the 53rd minute and scored a brilliant goal that Kurtz Herritik couldn't muster the energy to respond to. When the final whistle was blown, Heretics fans were bitterly disappointed that they had come so close to claiming a record-matching third title, only to be beaten out by a resurgent rival in Lehen Neorudo. Lehen have now won the league twice in a row, in a rare triumph of form that hasn't been seen in the SLAM since its inception.

In the Birch Memorial Cup, a shock exit from Lehen Neorudo in the Round of 32 and some brutal games in the quarter finals which saw of the top league teams eliminated (including a shock 6-0 win from Signal Dannin against Century Mertagne) resulted in a final between Papillio and Signal Dannin. The former handily dispatched the latter with a swift two goals, each scored inside the first fifteen minutes, with Signal Dannin trying and failing to deploy a variety of tactics to attempt to make up the deficit.

Aphrilia has a general playstyle used by all it's teams domestically.

Up until the recent changes done by the national team, Aphrilia's football style is generally playing with a slow build-up and attacking through the opponent's cracks when they lower their guard due to the team's slow playstyle. Most teams still apply this footballing style even if there are many other styles of play, largely due to familiarity. But there are exactly three exceptions. Those three teams being Topaz Cove City, who have long departed from the familiar tactics for a mixed one, Firewatch ASC as they have chosen a much more aggressive style of play whenever on the field, and Darlingtown Rovers who prefer a more balanced approach between fast and slow football depending on the situation.

But despite there being a general style that most affirm to, it's an open secret that all of them have been trying to deviate in one shape or another. Luther City and Crownford Athletic have taken the Topaz Cove approach by using a mixed style at all times. Koffdif City, Lower Hearths, and Exterton chose to follow along Firewatch ASC's aggressive tone of play, while Chapelstove Docks alongside Higher Hearths and Norminley Town decided to follow along the Darlingtown Rovers formula of having a balanced approach depending on the situation. The much more curious thing is that these divergences (Excluding Topaz Cove) have been a much more recent development. So who introduced the original slow going football?

That man's name was Lucas Westerfield.

Originally born in 1855, Westerfield was born to a family who managed multiple restaurants and cafes in a few smaller cities around the country. He never had an interest in anything athletic in general, as he was focused on studying to take the reigns of his parent's restaurants. When football was introduced to the country in 1902, some time after he had taken over the family business, he found it a curious thing. And thus, he was one of Aphrilia's first footballing pioneers in tactics and strategies. 1919 - 1927 was a time when many clubs formed but only a few actually stood for long. By this time, there were three football leagues within Aphrilia that claimed to be the country's national league.

The Aphrilian National Division, consisting of 14 clubs. The Football League of Aphrilia, consisting of 20 clubs. And finally was the league that Westerfield found his success in, the Aphrilian First Conference which was made up of 18 clubs. Topaz Cove City and Edenwood United are the two remaining names from the third league mentioned, and Westerfield having seen the potential decided to become manager of the former. Remember how it has been mentioned that Topaz Cove City (Formerly Topaz Cove Town) had their glory early on? Westerfield was a key player in it. His slow build-up style and attacking at the ready left some teams speechless on how a team from a mining town played so well.

Topaz Cove Town would win the AFC League title twenty times (Between the founding of the league (1922) and the end of it (1950)) and in official matches against the other league champions, they went mostly unbeaten. It proved to all of Aphrilia that Topaz Cove Town, no, Topaz Cove City (The change happened in 1946) was the best team there is. However, despite the great success and joy that TCC were enjoying, all good things come to an end. Lucas Westerfield was found dead in his home in September of 1949, and his death is a taboo topic even amongst rival fans today. The cause of death isn't 100% certain, but it was speculated to related to the depression he was experiencing ever since the loss of his wife in 1946.

After the dissolution of the AFC, Topaz Cove City decided to leave the playstyle that they won with as others tried to copy their success with it. The team wouldn't win another title up until 1964 in the National Aphrilian Football Association's first attempt at a national football league in the form of the Aphrilian National Conference League (ANCL). They would win more league titles and some Camberville Cup titles up until the NACL was dissolved in 1972. This left many football teams without a professional league until 1997, where many of them dissolved or went bankrupt. Most of the new Aphrilian Ultra League members were already existing clubs, and the ones that ended up dissolving were younger teams from the 40s and 50s. As to how the teams were able to survive until then, semi-professional leagues hosted by the clubs themselves were formed. Athletes were not called up to the military for The World War, and Aphrilia didn't do conscription. The economy wasn't fully halted due to foreign attacks, among other factors.

And thus we arrive to the current time, with the new season having been completed.

The Asociación Yguazuense de Fútbol (AYF) is pleased to present...
The Yguazú División de Honor - Professional Season 7

The División de Honor de Yguazú is the highest tier of association football in Yguazú, a nation located in the region of Anaia with loose and remote bonds with Valladares. This competition, organized by the AYF, is played by 12 teams, most of them based in the national capital Karanday and surrounding areas, and it is particular in the sense that it works under an Apertura/Clausura system in which both the Apertura and Clausura tournaments constitute independent championships (i.e. the winners of both tournaments earn equal recognition as champions).

In both the Apertura and Clausura tournaments, the 12 teams play each other in a double round-robin tournament, once at their stadium and once at their rivals' one, for a total of 22 matches per tournament. The team with the most points at the end of each tournament is crowned as champion.

The competition was played as an amateur championship for nearly 100 years, and has been historically dominated by Cerro Pintado and Olímpico, who won all but 14 out of the previous editions of the competition (52 titles for Cerro Pintado and 44 for Olímpico), with Independiente (5), Tupí (5), Nacional (2), Sol de Anaia (1), and Sportivo Eugenino (1) being the only teams able to win a championship in both the amateur and profesional eras. Albeit the league has been played to a decent standard of quality in spite of its amateurism, the AYF believes that, by turning the competition into a professional one and having the chance to enter international competition, the level of the competition and of its own teams will have an exponential growth and Yguazuense players will have their much-wanted opportunity to take themselves to new highs.

Apertura Tournament
A new season of Yguazuense football opened up with the Apertura tournament played in the first half of the season, which brought Sol de Anaia back to positions of prominence as they were able to lead the tournament from start to end while also taking advantage of some early blunders for the likes of Cerro Pintado and Olímpico, the poor campaign by the defending champions Nacional, as well as Tupí's and Prado Ñú's implosions right at the most critical moment of the tournament: the final stretch...

The season opened up with some unexpected shocks for the usual favourites, with Cerro Pintado losing 3-1 at home to Unión Agrícola (in what would eventually become their only away victory in the whole season), Olímpico being held to a scoreless stalemate by newcomers Sportivo Fernandino, and Tupí biting the dust by losing to Independiente. Sportivo Eugenino, a side who have made life harder for the usual contenders in recent times, also fell victim to a nasty surprise on the opening matchday, losing to the other newcomers Deportivo Fernheim in the arid southeastern savannas, whilst Deportivo Amambay emerged victorious from their debut against Prado Ñu in another battle between dark horses. The focus now goes to Nacional, who as defending champions, would have been expected to kick off the season on the right foot, but Sol de Anaia had plans of their own to prevent such a thing and eventually claimed three points that put them in the lead as soon as the first week of competition. The sunny side were able to consolidate their standing at the summit by going unbeaten during the following seven weeks, in which they were able to defeat Olímpico, Sportivo Eugenino and Independiente, and draw with Tupí and Prado Ñu. Their first loss of the season came against a Cerro Pintado side who was at the time struggling in mid-table after dropping several points in the start of the season with draws against Independiente and Deportivo Fernheim and a loss to Nacional, and was hoping to regain ground with this win, hopes which would not last long as they were sent back to their reality in the next matchday, losing the Superclásico to an Olímpico side who were also struggling in the dawn of the season, following that draw against Fernandino and the loss to Sol with another loss to Tupí and draws with Nacional and Prado Ñu.

Speaking of Tupí and Prado Ñu, these two sides seemed to be the ones able to pose a challenge to Sol de Anaia at halfway point, since at that moment they were trailing Sol by just two points. The second half of the Apertura began with Sol doing the double over Nacional, with Tupí keeping the two-point gap in place by demolishing Independiente 5-1, whilst Prado Ñu dropped two points at home against Deportivo Amambay. A 2-0 loss for Sol de Anaia against Olímpico granted the Aboriginal side chance a unique chance to take the lead, but they wasted it by losing to Nacional, and Prado Ñu kept things interesting after beating Deportivo Fernheim at home, result that allowed them to cut their gap with the league leaders back to two points. This three-horse battle remained in place until Matchday 17, when Sol hosted Prado Ñu in a six-pointer that would play a big role in deciding the fate of the Apertura, which ended with the sunny side claiming a comeback victory that allowed them to move 3 points clear of the Albiverde while at the same time Olímpico dented Tupí's title hopes by winning their match. Another couple of wins over Deportivo Amambay and a Cerro Pintado side that made some effort to get closer to the Apertura race by chaining some wins in the final stretch added to further losses for Tupí and Prado Ñu left Sol seven points clear at the top and with the chance to clinch their second División de Honor title as soon as Round 20 if they beat Independiente on the road, and coincidentally, Tupí and Prado Ñu faced each other. However, Independiente didn't feel like letting Sol celebrate a title in their stadium and extended the drama for one more week with a 1-0 victory, while Tupí emerged victorious from their showdown and were able to cut the gap to four points. Sol's second "match point" was not wasted though, as the sunny side were eventually able to clinch the Apertura on the penultimate matchday by beating Deportivo Fernheim while at the same time Cerro Pintado brought Tupí's title hopes to an end while at the same time putting themselves on the driver's seat for the vice-championship, which they ended up confirming the following week by beating Prado Ñu.

Clausura Tournament
Usually the Clausura tends to be the most closely fought tournament, considering that it is at this point that the aggregate table enters into play, and most teams will be looking at both tables with attention especially now that there are more international berths up for grabs. By winning the Apertura and considering the little time off mid-season, Sol de Anaia were well poised to extend their dominance to the Clausura and confirm it with a double, but there were several sides waiting for their chance for redemption in the year's final tournament. Having punctured at the worst possible moment in the Apertura, Tupí and Prado Ñu were definitely out for vengeance, with the former being in a special quest to break their particular tie in league titles with Independiente for Yguazú's "third best team" and the latter hoping to emulate Nacional's feat the previous season by claiming a maiden title. Meanwhile, the Apertura runners-up Cerro Pintado were hoping for a strong start that would help them avoid the need for late and futile comebacks...

Alright, the Clausura race began with the two traditional Yguazú powerhouses leading the way. Both Cerro Pintado and Olímpico came out firing on all cylinders in the first four matchdays, with the former taking full advantage of having three of their first four games at home and beating Unión Agrícola, Deportivo Amambay, and Deportivo Fernheim, as well as Independiente on the road, while the latter began their campaign by claiming wins over Sportivo Fernandino, Nacional, the defending champs Sol de Anaia, and Unión Agrícola. Although Olímpico started dropping points as soon as Round 5 with a 2-2 draw with Sportivo Eugenino at home, the Azuleta were able to make it eight wins out of eight by adding Sportivo Fernandino, Nacional, and Sol de Anaia to their list of victims before facing Olímpico in yet another Superclásico edition where that dream start would eventually meet its end in a heated match that ended with the Franjeado claiming victory once again and returning to the title race. Despite this setback against their arch-rivals, Cerro Pintado still had enough savings to reach halfway point atop the standings with 25 points, although not as comfortable of a lead as they would desire with Olímpico trailing them by just two points. Apart from Cerro Pintado and Olímpico, the top four were completed with Nacional and Tupí, both with ups and downs in the first half of the Clausura but being eventually able to chain some winning streaks that helped them open up the title race ahead of the crucial second half. The Aboriginal had a particularly slow start, losing three matches in a row despite opening their Clausura campaign with a win over Independiente. Tupí's poor streak was precisely broken with a win over Olímpico, which in turn became the start of a positive streak that saw four straight wins and also included a 1-0 triumph at Cerro Pintado's stadium in Round 10.

But Tupí would not stop there, as their positive streak would extend to the start of the second half while at the same time Cerro Pintado started faltering, and as a result the Aboriginal ended up taking the lead in Round 14 after thrashing Sportivo Eugenino while at the same time Cerro and Independiente cancelled themselves out. Although Cerro Pintado had a great chance to regain the lead following a defeat for Tupí against Sol, that opportunity was ruined after losing at home to the almost-doomed Sportivo Fernandino and immediately afterwards Tupí did capitalize on another loss for the Azuleta, this time against Nacional, and moved five points clear by beating Olímpico and kicking them out of the title race for good while also jeopardizing their chances of returning to IFCF competition through the aggregate table. That five-point gap would eventually grow to seven following another win for Tupí against Unión Agrícola and a draw in the last Superclásico of the season, granting Tupí the chance to seal the Clausura title with two matches to go if they defeated a Prado Ñu side engulfed in the heat of the race for the Challengers Cup berths along Olímpico and Independiente. Tupí depended solely on their own effort, and even though Cerro Pintado defeated Sportivo Eugenino, the Aboriginal ended up claiming their sixth league title without much drama and also lent Independiente a huge helping hand in their quest to return to international competition.

With the title, Champions League and CAFA LigAnaia qualifiers all decided already, and Cerro Pintado being extremely close to claim a consolation prize in the form of a Challengers Cup berth, attention in the final two rounds of the Clausura and the season shifted to the battle for the remaining two ChC berths between Olímpico, Prado Ñu, and Independiente, with these three sides separated by just one point, and a "final" between Olímpico and Independiente looming large on the penultimate matchday, and one that could settle the matter once and for all. Olímpico only needed to win in order to clinch qualification, while Prado Ñu would also be rooting for an Olímpico win there since all the odds for this matchday were in their favour as they had to host an Unión Agrícola side that was merely praying for the season to end as soon as possible, given their extremely poor Clausura campaign that had seen them win only once in 20 attempts. And well, Olímpico ended up tearing Independiente apart and this added to Prado Ñu's expected victory ended up closing the IFCF race with one round in hand. Relegation was an even more anticlimactic affair, given that Deportivo Fernheim and Sportivo Fernandino were unable to raise their respective averages above 1 and sealed a quick return to the División Intermedia, even though Unión Agrícola seemed to have done everything in their power to make their average plummet and save either of them...

Aggregate Table
The aggregate table, combining the results of both the Apertura and Clausura, decided the teams that will be entering the IFCF tournaments for the following season. Since Yguazú is entitled to two berths into the Champions League, these berths will be awarded to both champions, with the highest-placed one qualifying for the champions path of the preliminary rounds (if one team wins both the Apertura and Clausura, the next best-placed team will also qualify for the CL), while the three Challengers Cup qualifiers will be the next three best-placed teams in this table. The Apertura and Clausura champions (or Clausura runners-up, if the same team wins both tournaments) will both qualify for the CAFA LigAnaia regardless of their placement in this table.

The Yguazú División Intermedia - Professional Season 7

The División Intermedia is Yguazú's second tier, and unlike the División de Honor, it is played under a more traditional format with 16 clubs playing each other twice for a total of 30 matches per season. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the División de Honor for the following season, and will also qualify for the Liga B Champions Trophy along with the team that ends up in third place.

Just like the top tier, the Intermedia's relegation table considers the performance of teams in the division during the three most recent seasons, with the teams with the three lowest averages getting relegated at the end of the season. Teams coming from the capital Karanday and nearby areas are relegated to Primera B Metropolitana, while teams coming from other areas of Yguazú are relegated to Primera B Nacional.

Feline Matriarchy of Nekohime - Post Modern Tech - Japanese Speaking - Monarchist Welfare State
52 Million Kittizens - 81 million Humans - 1 Empress, Her Majesty Kyoko Nekohime.

Yes, this nation is full of immortal catgirls and their human "pets". It's based on a PMT Japan where genetic pet catgirl experiments got a bit out of hand and made humans the pets instead. And for some reason they just like playing sports a lot.
Any resemblance between this and any other furry NS nations, past, present, and future, is entirely coincidental. Any Japanese translations offered are from either DeepL or Google Translate, as I do not speak Japanese.

IFCF Champions League: Hawthorne Kickers
IFCF Challengers Cup: Bearden, Galaxy SC, Austin City
IFCF Liga B Champions Trophy: Saint Geoffreystown, East End FC, United Marietta FC
CEdC: Hawthorne Kickers, Bearden

Xanneria (XAN) final site bids
IFCF Champions League Finale: XANAir National Stadium II, Dominica City, Xanneria (62,000)
A relatively new stadium aged only 30 years, it was one of the first in Xanneria to use Retro-Modern designs. It's home to many great teams including the Xannerian National Team and Capital FC. (Ok home to normally good teams. We don't talk about the last season of Capital FC.) It's never hosted a major even though and the stadium aims for the IFCF Champions League Final to give football fans in the capital something fun to talk about.

CEdC Finale: Sue Garmin Stadium, Bearden,Xanneria (56,000)
A pioneering multipurpose stadium that hosts both Baseball and Football. The Stadium is named after long time fan and local businesswoman Sue Garmin. Her chain of Sushi resteraunts also sponsor the team too. The stadium sits on a lake near Bearden, meaning that wind from the waters breeze over the stadium.

SteuerLig Pre-Season Gossip
Breaking News & Salacious Rumours
World Champion Striker For Sale
You Heard It Here First (Or Maybe On Discord)

Note: nothing is presented as fact. Just insider knowledge. Or made up stuff.

Tai Cerotha Transfer Request
World Cup-winning Deltic striker Tai Cerotha, who scored in the final victory over Tumbra, has declined the opportunity to renegotiate his contract at serial disappointers St. Bernadine Athletic, and is looking for a move abroad to win something at club level that will sit alongside his World Cup medal. The Representatives' all-time NT top scorer will not be allowed to leave for anything other than a substantial fee, even by Taxhavn standards. Troubled intercontinental giant SK Franz-Josef City are rumoured to be leading a whole pack of interested parties, though whether they have the cash for that kind of signing these days remains to be seen. The same can be said of Shamrock Cathair, who 'The Aesthetic' are definitely NOT predicting as Tai's next stop. Geek champions OK Mukladrue and Tumbran fancy dans Couno Rangers have called talk of their interest as 'completely unsubstantiated' and 'someone just made that up on an unverified sports wire'.

Moroff Off Too
Another World Cup winner will also be hitting the international transfer market. After seeing his club narrowly miss relegation, Taxhavnite youngster and super talented attacking midfielder Jocki Moroff, who also plays internationally for the Representatives and played a part in the World Cup '95 triumph, thinks he can do better abroad, even if Raynor City United couldn't match his wages in Taxhavn. Because Taxhavn. Neither RCU nor Hellenic Rouge in Pasarga have ruled themselves out of the race to sign young Jocki, although it's true we haven't asked them. What I remember most about the Gnejsian Allgnejsa is that they definitely have the interest, but do Lokomotiv Esaias have the cash?

Nurserymen To Look North
The success of Aslak Hrafninnsson at Orchideeën has not gone unnoticed by the board, who are casting a wide net over the Valhallan Union in a scouting mission that encompasses something like 3 million clubs and a billion really excellent players who just haven't clicked yet in their return to the world stage. But most of all, the board are thinking about Nasjonale head coach Teitur Ronkainen and Jan Mayen Islanders manager Karl-Franz Klemmensen as candidates to succeed the ageing Maurits-jan Veerenjans, 69. Though Maurits-jan still has three years on his contract, he looks a little worn out now and maybe the Nurserymen need a refresh. There could be another surprise candidate too - an insider tells us Aslak has recommended Madars Kielman of Minor Vahallan League side Scheveningen Town for the top job. He is considered by the Nurserymen as a potential up-and-comer, even if they don't exactly know how old he is.

Gaffigan The Man Who Can For Athletic
Anticipating money in the bank for Tai Cerotha and having money in the bank anyway - because Taxhavn - St. Bernadine Athletic have not stood idly by to let a shortage of strikers threaten to turn the mediocrity of recent seasons into downright poor form: scouts have identified Tikariot's Eivora Athletic FC as a potential source of replacements with both Squorn Minakshi Kriz and local lad Michael Gaffigan as 'complete strikers' who could be lured by the 'complete payday'. Gaffigan in particular is said to be of interest and according to a well informed source, the player is keen on the jackpot. I mean challenge. Challenge. He's keen on the challenge of the SteuerLig. Eivora Athletic are refusing to be drawn on the matter but they could cave when they see the size of Athletic's credit card. It's unbelievably massive.

Scorned Squorn Elder Heldir's Shocking Shaker Shake-up (Sorry)
One season to forget came at the 'Shakerdome' where the formerly promising works team had a fairly abject season in the experienced hands of Heldir Zaman, escaping relegation on the last day of the season and finding two of their star players - Jocki Moroff and talismanic captain Zubi Zuberbuhler - had handed in transfer requests before post-season was out. Next through the exit door is likely to be the head coach himself, with Shakerssen rumoured to be 'going in a different direction' - which could mean anything from younger, stronger, faster, fitter, or generally better than what they have experienced this season. Will the old man, 69, finally retire? Or is he still up for that 'one last challenge' - something that was beyond him this time after leaving Sylestone and Chamberley City after 14 seasons in charge.
