Earthquakes and Flash Floods are the highest priority threats in Minoa.

Minoa straddles over the Aegean Sea, Anatolian and Eurasian plates. The result is very tough earthquake regulations to reduce the death and destruction that earthquakes can cause, without sufficient preparedness.

Flash floods is another concern because we have dry summers. Our solution is flood tunnels to divert excess water underground and eventually into the water supply system, where it will be treated as usual and may also be used to prevent forest fires through the use of the light sprinkler system (you know, like that mist making thing that you find at some restaurants in the summer, in hot countries).

Being in the north east of the continent, Stalliongrad is subject to very severe winters. Snowstorms and low temperatures can cause soil to dry out, leading to famine in the region. Equally dangerous are the heavy rains.

Toin is prone to earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions. During the austral summer, we are also prone to wildfires, of which a few particularly devastating ones are raging in the countryside right now - but usually, they are not so severe.

Nacrad, located on the western coast of the Pacific Ocean, is very susceptible to typhoons. Up to 10 typhoons per year may affect Nacrad, mostly the states of Formosa, Oswain and Hadrax. In addition, Formosa is located on the Ring of Fire, and is susceptible to earthquakes and tsunamis. Furthermore, it is suspected that a dormant supervolcano lies beneath Sai Kung, a county just 10 kilometers from downtown Portsville and not more than 250 from the capital Riverfort.

Earthquakes are common in Pulsroth, with the north being particularly vulnerable. The country also has a large amount of active volcanoes, and earthquakes are responsible for the majority of eruptions from these.

Aside from these, blizzards are relatively frequent in the eastern mountains during the winter, and the south west coast of Pulsroth often experiences windstorms during the late spring and early summer.

Ruritane gets some natural disasters. Major Ruritane gets relatively few, with storms being the biggest offenders. Sakhalin gets many volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, typhoons, and earthquakes. Tierra del Fuego gets earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and even some blizzards. In Southern Africa, very strange dust storms sometimes occur, which are believed to be the result of Ruritanois development.

Our climate is dull Mediterranian weather. There are little natural disasters. For those our emergency services are ready.
Droughts, storms, floods, blizzards(very seldom), wildfires, medicanes (not common), earthquakes (are rarely over 4 richter), volcanoes (last eruption was +500 years ago), tornadoes very uncommon.
