Earthquakes and Flash Floods are the highest priority threats in Minoa.
Minoa straddles over the Aegean Sea, Anatolian and Eurasian plates. The result is very tough earthquake regulations to reduce the death and destruction that earthquakes can cause, without sufficient preparedness.
Flash floods is another concern because we have dry summers. Our solution is flood tunnels to divert excess water underground and eventually into the water supply system, where it will be treated as usual and may also be used to prevent forest fires through the use of the light sprinkler system (you know, like that mist making thing that you find at some restaurants in the summer, in hot countries).
