Biggest raids ever in terms of endorsements and not including GCR's after influence was introduced?

Can't compare them to today's invasions, since the strategies are quite different, but I do recall once kicking 90+ invaders into TRR after we purposely let them build up their forces for a whole day. I was pretending to be a sleepy native delegate and they bought it hook, line, and sinker.

I believe the biggest battle ever without endorsement swapping was the battle of Rajahland, which was 125 to 109 (ADN, RLA on one side, SRATO and other allies against the ADN/RLA on the other). But you have to remember that "raid" is used very different now than then. Newer groups generalize far more than ever, I don't believe it was called a raid then.

This also goes for the battle of Palestine, which was a bit lower ( I can't remember the exact statistics I've heard). FCS (I believe) was 135 to 109.

But Ballo is correct in terms of comparison, it was very different then and many of these battle were due to people missing updates/being denied initially and then piling on to try to win it later.

In Palestine's case, for some reason the raider delegate didn't eject the defenders...

That's one of my favourite defenses ever. We spent, what, a month or more, defending that particular region almost every update, until we finally decided to lure all the invaders into the place, so we could kick them all at once. 8)

Edit. We even had to ask TITO to keep most of their people out of the region, because we didn't want to scare the invaders away with superior numbers.

If it was in 2008 it was TITO/FRA/allies. Grub was lead.

102-82 according to an old NS-related site. RLA/EAA on one side (The Mighty Pump was lead), GB&I and allies on the other.

If this was AFTER influence, hadn't the ADN and RLA already been dissolved?

The ADN wasn't disbanded until April 2007, and its successor organization (the DSA) limped on for a while after that.

To the best of my knowledge the RLA has never been formally dissolved, but it also didn't go inactive until a while after Influence was established.

OK, my mistake. I thought they went inactive a bit sooner than that.

He became mod in the same way as others I guess:

How do I become a Moderator?
If you make helpful posts in Moderation, Technical, and anywhere else help is needed, the Mods will notice you. If you're kind, helpful, and level-headed, you may have what it takes to be a mod (That said, while we look for helpful people, back-seat modding and spamming Moderation are amoung the quickest ways to get yourself taken out of consideration). When new mods are needed, you may be asked to become a Forum Mod.

That, or he found out [violet]'s identity and could only be kept silent by becoming a mod *nods*

Nation? Testlandia, probably.

I know that one of the original Technical Forum stickies (by [violet]) had a really low topic ID number, but all of the really old forum topics have been lost to the mists of history.

Because I'm curious/dorky enough to be curious about this, I went through and found the earliest post number that still exists on the forums for us plebes to view.

First for the very first time. - started by Scolopendra, along with posts from Testlandia and [violet] ... and later locked when it was zombified.

So there are 45 posts that were earlier and are "missing" / "deleted." I wouldn't be surprised if there was some "Test Forum" with sample posts and topics that were later deleted before the forum was made live/available to the public, but ... *shrugs* That's just an educated guess.

Oh, I was talking about the original 2002-04 forums. It's a bit easier to find posts on these forums.

(And FWIW, that thread's got Topic ID #4.)

I believe so. Gatesville was the largest for several years, but barely surpassed 1,200 nations.

By total endorsements on both sides:

1) Federal Commonwealth Society: 109-136 : ACCEL-GB&I vs ADN-TITO-RLA etc. February 2006.
5) South America: 66-96 (after a literal 50-50 draw on the first update): TNI-LKE-Unknown vs FRA-TITO. June 2010.

These are the main ones I'm aware of. Having been involved in them in some sense or another. It's dubious whether FCS should be counted because it involved previous endoswapping etc, rather than a straight out raid. Oh, and I just saw "after influence was introduced". So, yes, definitely Rajahland.

Turned out to be a RLA spy. Ironically, I was going to be delegate but we gave it to this new guy instead to keep him active. Thats what you get for being lazy I'm afraid. :p

Oh okay. They didn't put it in their propaganda piece for the liberation, so I guess he thought he could still be useful as a spy.
