Thirty-Fifth TakilQuip Champions’ Cup—Group Stage

Cardiologists, as the third-placed team from Estresse Intenso, should not have received direct entry to the group stage. However, since the only higher-ranked association which received fewer places in the group stage was Jasĭyun, which only entered two teams in the competition, and since it would be incredibly difficult to do anything about the error at this point, the error will stand.
Also note that Ituraitz FC (ASG) should not have entered the Globe Cup in the qualifying stage, and will in fact be entering the Globe Cup in the first knockout round. Port Milne FC (SCY) should replace them in the qualifying stage.

Though officially the away team, FKM will have the privilege of playing the match at their own FKM Arena, the third time the final has been played on a finalist’s home ground. Their only loss in Murmansk during this season’s UICA campaign was to another Landau Institute club, Cardiologists. FKM is the first Kagdaz club to reach a UICA final; Estresse Intenso was represented in the world championship match for the first time four seasons ago when Neurologists were defeated by Yuba United.

Thirty-Fifth TakilQuip Champions’ Cup Final
at FKM Arena, CMZ Metropolitan Area, Kagdazka and Pazhujebu

(EIT) Psychiatrists 1–2 FKM (KPZ)

FKM becomes the second team to lift the Champions’ Cup trophy in its home stadium. Kagdazka and Pazhujebu is the lowest-ranked association (at 17th) ever to have a team win a UICA competition. More trivially, FKM is the shortest club name to win a UICA competition, while Kagdazka and Pazhujebu ties Candelaria And Marquez as the longest association name for a UICA winner.

2 Atlético Insular CAF 2 1 0 1 3 3 0 3
3 Mar Sara FC VAL 2 0 0 2 1 4 −3 0

FKM wins the VI Super Cup in its first appearance. Atlético Insular is the first Series B Champions’ Cup winner to finish better than last in the competition since Metropolitano (also from Cafundéu) in Super Cup 11.

Updated coëfficients are now available.

The entry limits for the next season of UICA competition will be as follows:
Champions’ Cup 36: The number of teams allowed is determined according to league coefficients, with the following distribution:
  • Associations ranked 1–3 (Cafundéu, Capitalizt SLANI, and Valanora) are allowed to enter four teams.
  • Associations ranked 4–6 (Estresse Intenso, Jasĭyun, and Aguazul) are allowed to enter three teams.
  • Associations ranked 7–28 (Valladares, Ad’ihan, Krytenia, Sorthern Northland, Queer Poco el Mono Ara, Zarbli, Mytannion, Kagdazka and Pazhujebu, Starblaydia, Pasarga, Osarius, The Babbage Islands, Whirl Islands, West Zirconia, Polar Islandstates, Astograth, Liventia, Cotdelapoms, Erathore, Eastfield Lodge, Taeshan, and Delaclava) are allowed to enter two teams.
  • Associations ranked 29 and below, and unranked associations, are allowed to enter one team.
  • Special considerations:
    • FKM is assured a place as the title holder. If it fails to qualify for one of Kagdazka and Pazhujebu’s two places, it will receive an additional place.
    • Élite League: Has seven places. Capializt SLANI must enter at least three teams, and Jasĭyun at least two.
Globe Cup 33: Every association is allowed to enter three teams. Multiassociational leagues may enter six teams, of which no more than four may be from the same association.
Series B Champions’ Cup 33: Every association is allowed to enter four teams. Multiassociational leagues may enter eight teams, of which no more than six may be from the same association.

The deadline for entry to Champions’ Cup 36 and Series B Champions’ Cup 33 is tentatively set for Sunday, 2012-01-08.

UICA has renegotiated its ongoing contracts with four of its sponsors, so as to revoke all naming rights for UICA competitions. The Champions’ Cup, Series B Champions’ Cup, and Super Cup will henceforth be known by those names. The existing sponsors have been granted a new status of UICA Partner, which allows them to officially associate themselves with UICA in advertising, and to advertise at all UICA competition matches, though the sponsors associated with each competition (TakilQuip with the Champions’ Cup, Globo Multimedia and Banco Econômico with the Globe Cup, and AalborgPettersen with the Series B Champions’ Cup) will enjoy greater advertising exposure at that competition. The visual identity of the competitions have been updated to incorporate the new names:

Image

The sponsorship contract for Super Cups 33–40, which has been negotiated under these new parameters, is awarded to AlfaCredit Bank.

Image

As a consequence of the new sponsorship contracts, stadia which host UICA competition matches—in particular, those which bid to host finals—must not be named after a commercial entity other than the five UICA Partners. A sponsored stadium name may continue to be used on signage in and around the stadium, but another name will be used for UICA’s own purposes (generally using either the city’s name, the associated club’s name, or the original name of the stadium).
Furthermore, final site bids must now include some description relating to the stadium, its owner, the surrounding area, or whatever else is pertinent. The Selection Committee’s voters will take this information into account when casting their votes. (OOC: The final site vote scorination will include an RP bonus, rather than being purely random as it was for the past thirty-three seasons. This bonus will be based solely on the information related to the proposed final site.)

O-LEAGUE : SEASON VII PREVIEW

With the SFA picking up their ball and going home, the Liga Calania has breathed its last. But worry not! The O-League returns from its hibernation (and forced renaming as a lower division) for its seventh season. With faces old and new in the top flight, and a new sponsor in the for of Adastral Logistics, it's time to take a look at the teams looking to add their name to the now unmothballed Marshall Warzycha Shield.

- AFC LINFORD -
First Team: L Kromkamp - K Gregory, W Kelten, C Ó Riordan, B Rynsen - L McGuigan, G Boateng, M d'Ambrosio, P Andreasson - I Millar, D Schwarzkopf
Internationals: Colm Ó Riordan (Krytenia).
Manager: Steve Etimov, 42.
Home Ground: Brecklands, cap 46,137.
Nickname: The Woodsmen
How It Looks: Despite the rock-solid Ó Riordan in defence, Linford will struggle as they continue to cope with life after Swann.
Prediction: 12th

- AIGBURTH ATHLETIC -
First Team: A Ruiz - L Canavan, D Earle, S Biggar, C Le Fondre - A Morgan, S Valli, C Ledsham, J Bruni - Z Ali, A Grissom
Internationals: None.
Manager: Bill Wagner, 40.
Home Ground: ArenaWest, cap 44,785.
Nickname: The Latics; The Shags (as in cormorants, you filthy-minded fool) is also sometimes used.
How It Looks: It's been a long and arduous road back to the top table for the men from Aigea. They'll be looking to stay here, and should manage it. Just.
Prediction: 15th

- AVIDIA CITY -
First Team: J Chignini - T Nokai, K Vires, J Devonshire, G Krajcenka - W Klyzheko, S Strachan, R Marron, S Perez - D Amah, V Green
Internationals: None.
Manager: Adam Fogg, 50.
Home Ground: Avidair Stadium, cap 28,695.
Nickname: City.
How It Looks: Back in the same division as their cross-city rivals, and finally with a ground to call their own, the future is bright for City. Still no patch on United, but should be in a healthyish mid-table position with one eye on the future.
Prediction: 13th

- AVIDIA UNITED -
First Team: S Ostenstad - P Heinrich, S Lamarr, T Stansfield, K Perceval - J Weber, C Richardson, J Fougasse, D Agogo - J Cristobal, A Quiteri
Internationals: Derek Agogo, Aaron Quiteri, Clive Richardson (all Krytenia).
Manager: Warren Kennedy-Worthington, 50.
Home Ground: New City Stadium, cap 88,553.
Nickname: The Eagles.
How It Looks: The four-time Liga Calania champions may have wobbled in the last couple of years, but with Iskara Daii and the like out of their schedule, the Eagles are looking to soar once more.
Prediction: 3rd

- BRADWELL SAINTS -
First Team: K McGowan - R Fraser, T Westhuisen, J Fonte, D Tofa - J O'Corrigan, G do Prado, M Schneider, D Rickardsen - R Hoosveld, L Bernoldi
Internationals: Travis Westhuisen (Krytenia).
Manager: Simon Royce, 52.
Home Ground: Abbey Road, cap 47,260.
Nickname: The Saints.
How It Looks: Good enough to stay up, and comfortably; still missing that X-factor going forward to challenge for the UICA places though. Definitively middling.
Prediction: 10th

- CALEDON SIMPSON -
First Team: A Grijorovic - D Goian, D Kirk, A Papic, D Rios - C Li, L Maredu, S di Vaio, J Robbadi - E Tyler, N Jelavic
Internationals: Eric Tyler (Krytenia).
Manager: Alistair Bianco, 48.
Home Ground: Walton Gardens, cap 55,208.
Nickname: Caley; The Lions.
How It Looks: Long gone are the days when Super Caley went ballistic all over the likes of Iskara Daii and Yeaddin Owls. A reasonably young team is maturing well, though, and don't be surprised if Simpson slip under the radar and into the Globe Cup.
Prediction: 8th

- CASUALS OSTERIA -
First Team: R Cordoba - S Karrah, F Leclerc, A Celsen, J Pearl - M Altery, L Assea, F Ramundi, W Black - M Arnaud, C Brokken
Internationals: Alistair Celsen, Ray Cordoba, Scott Karrah (all Krytenia).
Manager: Robert Venus, 40.
Home Ground: New Coalfields, cap 71,119.
Nickname: The Miners.
How It Looks: Robert Venus' men have become used to being the perennial bridesmaids, content with a Globe Cup spot; try as they may, though, I can't quite see that changing this season.
Prediction: 5th

- CAVERSHAM -
First Team: C Bautista - F di Rienzo, J Makulis, L Kinkkunen, C Dereal - B Small, J Mauric, P Mauric, G Kauffeld - N Andersen, J Pasquale
Internationals: None.
Manager: Saffron Lines, 41.
Home Ground: Draconium Arena, cap 66,592.
Nickname: The Dragons; Cav.
How It Looks: The big story around these parts is more to do with former Krytenian captain Saffy Lines becoming manager than anything to do with how the team might do. The O-League's first female manager's going to have her work cut out on more than one front.
Prediction: 14th

- EMBERTON REDS -
First Team: B Labone - Cicero, G Angell, J Silvera, G Heinz - E Pizarro, D Lamela, C Thordarsson - O Pavleri, B Curcic, R Totti
Internationals: Calvin Thordarsson (Krytenia).
Manager: Shane Gallo, 50.
Home Ground: Isserson Stadium, cap 150,340.
Nickname: The Reds.
How It Looks: The Reds should be pushing for a Champions' Cup spot. I say "should"; unfortunately, Shane Gallo has all the tactical nous of an elderly goat, and they'll probably miss out on the UICA spots altogether.
Prediction: 6th

- FOXCHESTER ROVERS -
First Team: C Nixon - L Peters, J Dyer, M Miller, B Campbell, P Consett - L Painter, M Ashcroft, A Knight - P Gallen, H Stephenson
Internationals: None.
Manager: Neil Preece, 39.
Home Ground: Radcliffe Park, cap 14,308.
Nickname: The Foxes.
How It Looks: Nothing to do with Starblaydia's Foxchester Raiders, before you ask. The Foxes are completely out of their depth, and they know it; their ambition for the season is probably not to completely embarrass themselves.
Prediction: 18th

- KALLIA UNITED -
First Team: A Fraser - D R Choi, D Wilbraham, K Magnussen, M Forster - J King, S Georgiou, C J Song, C Pampeso - B Sampras, T Stokoe
Internationals: None.
Manager: Jim Montecello, 51.
Home Ground: Downhead Park, cap 40,912.
Nickname: The Chequers.
How It Looks: Kallia always seem to be one step behind everyone else when it comes to league play; though they'll probably struggle in the future with their meagre finances, a mid-table finish is about the going rate for them this time out.
Prediction: 11th

- MERCIA BROMHAM -
First Team: A Keys - M Jones, S Tweddle, G Thomas, J Oliver - J Morris, S Choi, C Hammond, R Allen - S Leary, S Cox
Internationals: Alan Keys, Robert Allen (both Krytenia).
Manager: Simon Carter, 36.
Home Ground: Cygnus Stadium, cap 105,013.
Nickname: The Midlanders.
How It Looks: Back on the rise after a few seasons in mid-table obscurity, Mercia will be looking to chase for a Champions' Cup spot. This, however, is not their time - at least not yet. With club legend Simon Carter at the helm, though, the sky's the limit going forward.
Prediction: 4th

- NEATHILL -
First Team: J Redvers - R Maartens, W Zeman, A Wilson, A O'Dowd - A Glasscock, B Johanssen, A Xousa - G Vaughan, S Maurizio, S Jacobi
Internationals: None.
Manager: Paul Müller, 44.
Home Ground: QES Stadium, cap 31,502.
Nickname: The Hillmen.
How It Looks: Neathill haven't been a top flight side since the days of the Overleague; though they'll be trying to grab this opportunity with both hands, they don't seem to have the required tools to stay up.
Prediction: 16th

- NEW CEFN ALBION -
First Team: M Barrum - N Stevens, A Davies, F Morales, T Milk - H Bevan, A Ortiz, A Glyn, L Prydain - D Graffham, R Vinter
Internationals: Trevor Milk (Krytenia).
Manager: Brendan Jenkins, 41.
Home Ground: Parc Abertawy, cap 31,101.
Nickname: Albion.
How It Looks: They may be unfashionable, they may be more Druidan than Krytenian, they may even spell "Park" with a C, but Albion are still the first side from this part of the world to win a UICA trophy. They'll be hard-pressed to qualify for one this year, though.
Prediction: 9th

- NSE KOVENHAM -
First Team: J Morfa - R McKeown, J Pasquale, R D'Arcy, C Hossam - D Kalanga, S Klinger, G Cefri, C Becker - F Juszkiewicz, L Forrest
Internationals: None.
Manager: Gordon Lindstrom, 47.
Home Ground: Northern Star Stadium, cap 43,281.
Nickname: The Stars.
How It Looks: They may be owned and bankrolled by Northern Star Electronics, but the company barely pay lip service to the club, let alone transfer fees. Maybe that'll change now the side are in the big league. Quite possibly not, though.
Prediction: 17th

- OUSEVALE BOROUGH -
First Team: M Davis - A Fletcher, M Cordon, P Southern, D Raleigh - M Rowan, D Ratcliffe, L Oldman - C Davis, Valrauncion, D Safuro
Internationals: Cameron Davis, Michael Rowan, David Safuro, Peter Southern (all Krytenia), Valrauncion (Starblaydia).
Manager: Song Ahn-Ji (Han Empire), 62.
Home Ground: Southern Arena, cap 91,093.
Nickname: The Tigers, Boro.
How It Looks: Trevor Spencer bankrolls the team through his property empire; fitting, really, because the side is the proverbial brick outhouse of Krytenian football. Will be the team to beat for all concerned.
Prediction: 1st

- ROYAL EMBERTON -
First Team: S Orsini - A McFarland, A Persson, C Gorkas, S Volz - T Hart, G Brynjarsson, R Kerr, J Manov - A Fonte, N Glenister
Internationals: Terry Hart, Richard Kerr, Steven Orsini (all Krytenia).
Manager: Brian Mazerov, 44.
Home Ground: Oxley Park, cap 53,882.
Nickname: The Royals, Pats.
How It Looks: They've gone through more name changes than you can shake a stick at over the years, but consistently is finally something that has found its place among the maroon and navy. Oxley Park is a fortress; Mazerov's title challenge will rest on his team's form on their travels.
Prediction: 2nd

- STANTON TOWN -
First Team: J Ferrari - J Hoy, M Mansour, S McManus, J Benjamin - K di Tomasso, M Zemme, N Baladi, J Barradez - S Donnelli, M Emnes
Internationals: None.
Manager: Andrew Finlay, 40.
Home Ground: Harbour Stadium, cap 60,662.
Nickname: The Dockers.
How It Looks: Stanton are the definition of the word "mercurial"; how any of their fans over the age of about eleven have any hair, I have no idea. I'm predicting seventh, knowing full well this could just as easily be seventeenth. Or second.
Prediction: 7th

AP Season Preview

Inner Compolis
Logo
Formation: 3-4-3
Impact Players: CF Rossi, LCM Cecil, LD Li
Manager: Vacant
Comments: Compolis is one of the better teams in the CPL. Their fundamental offense is more than adequete to score goals. There is a vacany for Manager and I.C. looks to get somebody internationally. Their defense is headed by Alfred Li, who has a brother Fredrick Li on the New Athens United club.

Petmonton United
Logo
Formation: 3-3-3-1
Impact Players: S Smith, CM Creighton
Manager: Anthony Gilbert
Comments: The United are in need of a goalkeeper. Their veteran Alec Davis retired at the age of thirty-two and found themselves without a back-up. Kevin Torress is the striker and probably the best footballer in all of Camwood. Torress recently cam back from Virabia following an annoucement of isolation. On the other hand Creighton has such speed that he can make it from goal to goal in less than six seconds and is a weapon of the Petmonton defense.

Port Kostas Strikers
Logo
Formation: 3-4-3
Impact Players: LM Matherly, CD Giles
Manager: Fredrick McNickel
Comments: Like Petmonton the Strikers need a keeper. They have a back up out of college, but according to sources he is not near adequete. PKS have released a statement saying, they will look for one internationally

New Athens United
Logo
Formation: 4-4-2
Impact Players: LCD Harold, LF Li
Manager: Nicholas Bentaly
Comments: The New Athens United didn't exist in the Camwood Cup, but they've got some decent players and are ready to play! Unlike most teams they aren't in need of any players.

Vanler Dynamo
Logo
Formation: 3-4-2-1
Impact Players: S Torress, MD Taber, GK THOMAS Jacoby
Manager: Henry Telison
Comments: The Dynamo have as good of a chance as anyone to win. Striker Kevin Torress recently came back from Virabia following their entry to "a period of isolation" and is a contender to win the AP player of the year.

Clenson Senate
Formation: 3-4-3
Impact Players: LCM Dicken, CD Hargrove
Manager: Gerald Verlander
Comments: The Senate will probably finish the season in the bottom four, if not relegated. Clenson needs a forward to score goals.

Yellow Sands Universe
Formation: 4-3-3
Impact Players: CF Benson, LD Arnolds
Manager: Neil Janice
Comments: Another team that's new to Camian Football is YB Universe. These guys are young and hungry. They'll finish moderately. YB needs a midfielder.

Sporting White Rock
Logo
Formation: 3-4-4
Impact Players: LCF Gregg, RCF Galley
Manager: Justin Kiplin
Comments: SWR is a heavily defensive team, but in need a decent defender to scare away potential scorers.

Fourth Copa de las Islas
Aqua-Branta Field, Portland, Brantalentia

For a tournament that doesn't receive much attention, there were certainly some complications heading into the fourth edition of southwest Rushmore's top championship. The Whirl Islands Football Association decided to challenge its Citiz counterpart by selecting a field in a non-member nation, though Brantalentia is a participatory member of the WIFA. After much discussion, Aqua-Branta Field has been approved as the tournament site; lucky for the CdlI organizers, Brantalentia is technically still in the southwest half-hemisphere of Rushmore, so the decision is not completely far-fetched. Besides that, a second founding member, Mytannion, has departed from the international scene. This initiated yet another format change: only ten teams will participate in the future, with four nations receiving two slots and two nations getting the other. There will be no random rotating extra spot for other Rushmori nations.

Global Stadia Bid
TQCC: Artani (74,000), Mar Sara - Located in the heart of Mar Sara, this modern stadium was built just under two decades ago with the best technology that the world has to offer. It is owned and operated by Mar Sara FC of the Elven Premier League and is routinely used by the VFA for domestic cup Final sites when a Mar Sara side is not in the Final. Artani offers all the best money can buy when it comes to a quality stadium and hopes to welcome all to the bread basket capital of Valanora.

GC: The Battleground (78,000), Raynor City - In the middle of the sprawling capital of Valanora, The Battleground is one of the oldest stadiums in the country. It underwent a major renovation nearly forty years ago to become the premier and largest stadium in all of Valanora. Rail from all over the capital have stops outside the stadium making it easily accessible to all citizens and visitors to Valanora's capital. It has hosted several domestic and international Finals and is used to the commotion that large scale matches create and can accommodate all with proper security and seating. While not as new as Artani, the renovations made to the stadium have made it the premier stadium of Valanora.

O-LEAGUE : SEASON VII : PART ONE

We have our eighteen teams, we have our (repolished) trophy, all we need now is some results. Let the fireworks commence!

Matchday 1
And so, it begins. The accolade of the revitalised O-League's first goal went, surprisingly, to Kovenham's Luke Forrest two minutes in; it didn't do them any good though, as the Stars went down 4-2 to Casuals. The men from Osteria lead the table on goals scored, and with the other winners on opening day being Avidia United, Royal Emberton, Mercia Bromham, and Ousevale Borough, the table is looking depressingly familiar already.

Results:
NSE Kovenham 2-4 Casuals Osteria
Mercia Bromham 2-1 Caledon Simpson
Neathill 1-2 Ousevale Borough
Avidia City 1-1 Kallia United
Bradwell Saints 1-1 Emberton Reds
Avidia United 3-1 AFC Linford
Caversham 1-1 New Cefn Albion
Foxchester Rovers 1-1 Aigburth Athletic
Stanton Town 0-2 Royal Emberton

Matchday 2
Our first big game of the season is at the Southern Arena, and the combination of elven RAWRCRUSH and generally just being Ousevale is too much for Casuals. It's Avidia United who lead though, a José Cristobal hat-trick helping them sink Aigburth. Mercia and the Royals also seal wins to go two for two.

Results:
Caledon Simpson 2-0 NSE Kovenham
Ousevale Borough 3-0 Casuals Osteria
Kallia United 1-2 Mercia Bromham
Emberton Reds 1-0 Neathill
AFC Linford 1-2 Avidia City
New Cefn Albion 2-0 Bradwell Saints
Aigburth Athletic 0-5 Avidia United
Royal Emberton 3-1 Caversham
Stanton Town 1-0 Foxchester Rovers

Matchday 3
It begins. Ousevale smack seven past haples Kovenham and surge to the top of the table with the Goal Difference Of The Gods™. The big surprise, though, is the House Of Kennedy (Kennedys sold separately) doing one on Warren Kennedy-Worthington's Avidia United; the result allows rivals City to go above them for the first time since dinosaurs roamed the Quinneth Plains.

Results:
NSE Kovenham 1-7 Ousevale Borough
Caledon Simpson 0-1 Kallia United
Casuals Osteria 1-4 Emberton Reds
Mercia Bromham 2-1 AFC Linford
Neathill 2-2 New Cefn Albion
Avidia City 3-1 Aigburth Athletic
Bradwell Saints 2-4 Royal Emberton
Avidia United 1-4 Stanton Town
Caversham 1-0 Foxchester Rovers

Matchday 4
Well, that's the script good and shredded. Ousevale travel to the Isserson, and leave with their tails between their legs as the Reds stuff them 5-1. Royal Emberton, meanwhile, can only draw at home to Neathill, and Mercia are the first team to have a meaningful lead at the top with their fourth win on the trot.

Results:
Kallia United 1-1 NSE Kovenham
Emberton Reds 5-1 Ousevale Borough
AFC Linford 4-1 Caledon Simpson
New Cefn Albion 2-2 Casuals Osteria
Aigburth Athletic 1-3 Mercia Bromham
Royal Emberton 1-1 Neathill
Stanton Town 4-1 Avidia City
Foxchester Rovers 1-0 Bradwell Saints
Caversham 0-5 Avidia United

Matchday 5
Simon Carter may be new to the management game, but he's taking to it like a Sortherner to radiation poisoning. Victory over Stanton keeps up the Midlanders' 100% record; the gap opens to three points, too, as NSE Kovenham manage to down the Reds.

Game of the week, though, is the cracker at Downhead Park, as Kallia contrive to lose a two-goal half time lead to gift five goals and three points to Linford.

Results:
NSE Kovenham 3-0 Emberton Reds
Kallia United 2-5 AFC Linford
Ousevale Borough 4-0 New Cefn Albion
Caledon Simpson 2-1 Aigburth Athletic
Casuals Osteria 3-1 Royal Emberton
Mercia Bromham 3-1 Stanton Town
Neathill 2-0 Foxchester Rovers
Avidia City 1-1 Caversham
Bradwell Saints 1-1 Avidia United

Matchday 6
Mercia quite literally cannot put a foot wrong. Caversham are the latest victims, and with Ousevale conceding a late Terry Hart goal to drop two points, Carter's boys are now five clear at the top.

Speaking of five, Bradwell put that many past Avidia City to record their first win of the season, rocketing out of the bottom three and into thirteenth in the process.

Results:
AFC Linford 3-0 NSE Kovenham
New Cefn Albion 1-0 Emberton Reds
Aigburth Athletic 0-2 Kallia United
Royal Emberton 1-1 Ousevale Borough
Stanton Town 2-1 Caledon Simpson
Foxchester Rovers 0-3 Casuals Osteria
Caversham 0-3 Mercia Bromham
Avidia United 5-0 Neathill
Bradwell Saints 5-1 Avidia City

KFA Cup First Round
Everyone into the pool for the KFA Cup, as 64 teams vie for the title of Krytenian Knockout Champions. Sadly, shocks were thin on the ground; Shruton's defeat of Notegia Rangers being the sum total of the victorious Davids. Spare a thought, though, for Alliance League side Tuvera City; they were put to the sword by Premier Division opposition in the form of Casuals.

Results:
Thackworth Rovers 1-3 Stanton Town
Bulham City 0-1 Prutton
Wylon United 1-1 Hoxton (1-2 AET)
Oustia 0-3 Secklow
Oldbrook 1-1 Stratford Rovers (1-1 AET, 1-2 PKs)
Oxley 1-2 Hastings County
Aigburth Athletic 4-0 St Peter's
Highfield 1-4 Ashton Olympic
Noton United 0-1 Avidia City
Bradwell Saints 2-2 Leston Town (3-2 AET)
Foxchester Rovers 3-1 Camberley Town
Huntsford 1-1 Quinton City (2-1 AET)
Bromham City 4-0 Nenbridge
Beckton Supermarine 1-2 Ellisham
Challenger 0-4 Avidia United
Sladehill Rovers 1-4 Walton City
Westleigh Athletic 4-1 Sandwell Rangers
Adanac City 0-3 Ousevale Juniors
New Cefn Albion 2-0 Kallia United
Casuals Osteria 6-0 Tuvera City
Porthscadoch 1-2 Aylesford
Dereapolis City 2-1 CF Avides
Emberton Reds 2-3 AFC Linford
Ousevale Borough 1-0 Yardley Forest
Wroxham Trinity 1-1 Club Francophone (1-2 AET)
Shruton Town 1-1 Notegia Rangers (2-1 AET)
Norton 0-3 Royal Emberton
Penniton United 0-0 East Green Phoenix (0-0 AET, 1-3 PKs)
Bletcham Devils 1-2 Locomotive Wolverton
NSE Kovenham 1-0 Neathill
Mercia Bromham 1-0 Caversham
Walton Park 0-1 Caledon Simpson

Matchday 7
Mercia prove they're human after all; surprisingly, though, it's Richard Hoosveld and Bradwell Saints doing the damage. Hands up if you had the Saints in the sweepstake. Behind them, meanwhile, Ousevale close the gap with an effortless win over Foxchester Rovers, who are looking more and more creaky by the week.

Results:
NSE Kovenham 0-3 New Cefn Albion
AFC Linford 1-3 Aigburth Athletic
Emberton Reds 0-2 Royal Emberton
Kallia United 1-1 Stanton Town
Ousevale Borough 5-1 Foxchester Rovers
Caledon Simpson 1-1 Caversham
Casuals Osteria 3-1 Avidia United
Mercia Bromham 0-1 Bradwell Saints
Neathill 0-2 Avidia City

Matchday 8
Avidia United get the better of Ousevale at the New City Stadium, courtesy of an Aaron Quiteri header, and Mercia are back to a five point lead thanks to a win over Neathill. At the bottom, meanwhile, wins for Kovenham and Foxchester (over the Reds, no less!) haul them out of the drop zone at the expense of Caversham and the aforementioned Hillmen.

Results:
Aigburth Athletic 0-1 NSE Kovenham
Royal Emberton 2-2 New Cefn Albion
Stanton Town 1-1 AFC Linford
Foxchester Rovers 4-1 Emberton Reds
Caversham 1-2 Kallia United
Avidia United 1-0 Ousevale Borough
Bradwell Saints 2-1 Caledon Simpson
Avidia City 1-1 Casuals Osteria
Neathill 1-4 Mercia Bromham

Matchday 9
Mercia drop points for only the second time this season, drawing with Casuals, and Ousevale humiliate Avidia City to cut the gap to three. Eyebrows raised in the Globe Cup shake-up, though, as New Cefn's win over Foxchester puts them fifth and level on points with Avidia United, who went down 2-1 at the Isserson.

Results:
NSE Kovenham 1-4 Royal Emberton
Aigburth Athletic 1-0 Stanton Town
New Cefn Albion 2-1 Foxchester Rovers
AFC Linford 3-1 Caversham
Emberton Reds 2-1 Avidia United
Kallia United 3-0 Bradwell Saints
Ousevale Borough 6-0 Avidia City
Caledon Simpson 4-1 Neathill
Casuals Osteria 1-1 Mercia Bromham

O-LEAGUE : SEASON VII : PART TWO

Matchday 10
All eyes, then, on first versus second at the Cygnus Stadium. A tight encounter was eventually settled by a single goal, sub Jamie Evans' strike giving Ousevale the win and top spot to boot. Third placed Royal Emberton, meanwhile, are just a single point behind after they destroyed Foxchester.

In the fight at the bottom, meanwhile, Neathill went from last place to the bubble, a win over Kallia lifting them to the heady heights of fifteenth.

Results:
Stanton Town 2-0 NSE Kovenham
Foxchester Rovers 0-5 Royal Emberton
Caversham 1-1 Aigburth Athletic
Avidia United 4-1 New Cefn Albion
Bradwell Saints 1-2 AFC Linford
Avidia City 1-0 Emberton Reds
Neathill 1-0 Kallia United
Mercia Bromham 0-1 Ousevale Borough
Casuals Osteria 0-3 Caledon Simpson

Matchday 11
The wheels are rapidly falling off for Mercia. Last week's defeat to Ousevale is followed by an embarrassing reverse at the Isserson; on the other side of the capital, meanwhile, Avidia United busy themselves with a tight win over the Royals and catapult themselves to second place, three points behind the tenacious Tigers.

Results:
NSE Kovenham 0-0 Foxchester Rovers
Stanton Town 1-0 Caversham
Royal Emberton 1-2 Avidia United
Aigburth Athletic 0-4 Bradwell Saints
New Cefn Albion 2-0 Avidia City
AFC Linford 1-2 Neathill
Emberton Reds 4-1 Mercia Bromham
Kallia United 0-0 Casuals Osteria
Ousevale Borough 5-0 Caledon Simpson

Matchday 12
More fodder for Ousevale's might goal difference then, as a David Safuro hat-trick helps them to a 6-0 thumping of poor Kallia. Avidia United and Mercia both notch up wins to keep the gap at three, but Royal Emberton slip up at the Avidair Stadium and are now looking over their shoulder nervously at Stanton.

Results:
Caversham 2-1 NSE Kovenham
Avidia United 3-0 Foxchester Rovers
Bradwell Saints 0-0 Stanton Town
Avidia City 1-0 Royal Emberton
Neathill 4-1 Aigburth Athletic
Mercia Bromham 2-1 New Cefn Albion
Casuals Osteria 2-0 AFC Linford
Caledon Simpson 2-2 Emberton Reds
Ousevale Borough 6-0 Kallia United

KFA Cup Second Round
As the competition reaches the last thirty-two, it's time for shocks at last. Second Division no-marks get the ball rolling at Knightsmeadow, knocking out Avidia City, whilst Linford are turned over at home by First Division Secklow. Ousevale's double hopes also go for a burton, but they at least go out on penalties to a Premier Division side. Not that Bradwell mind, of course. Mercia narrowly avoid getting Stoned at Wanderers Park, whilst there's no such problems for Avidia United, who hit eight past First Division Stratford.

Results:
Aylesford 2-3 NSE Kovenham
Huntsford 1-0 Avidia City
Bromham City 0-2 Prutton
AFC Linford 0-0 Secklow (0-1 AET)
Bradwell Saints 1-1 Ousevale Borough (2-2 AET, 3-2 PKs)
Club Francophone 1-3 Stanton Town
East Green Phoenix 0-1 Locomotive Wolverton
New Cefn Albion 1-2 Casuals Osteria
Foxchester Rovers 1-0 Dereapolis City
Ashton Olympic 1-2 Walton City
Ellisham 2-2 Mercia Bromham (3-3 AET, 0-3 PKs)
Hoxton 1-1 Hastings County (1-2 AET)
Ousevale Juniors 0-0 Westleigh Athletic (0-1 AET)
Shruton Town 0-2 Royal Emberton
Stratford Rovers 1-8 Avidia United
Caledon Simpson 0-1 Aigburth Athletic

Matchday 13
There's no worries for Ousevale at the top, as hapless Linford are no match for the roaring Tigers. Avidia United, on the other hand...oh dear. They surrender two points to Kovenham - Kovenham! - and Mercia point and laugh at them on their way back to second place.

Results:
NSE Kovenham 1-1 Avidia United
Caversham 0-1 Bradwell Saints
Foxchester Rovers 0-2 Avidia City
Stanton Town 2-0 Neathill
Royal Emberton 2-3 Mercia Bromham
Aigburth Athletic 1-1 Casuals Osteria
New Cefn Albion 2-1 Caledon Simpson
AFC Linford 0-5 Ousevale Borough
Emberton Reds 1-0 Kallia United

Matchday 14
It's starting to look ominous. Yes, Ousevale may still be only three points clear of Mercia Bromham, but it's hard to see them putting anothr foot wrong any time soon. The Tigers' 8-0 annihilation of Aigburth puts them past the fifty-goal mark for the season at 54; that's just shy of four goals a game.

In other news, Avidia United get one over on their rivals in the first ever Avidia derby to be played at the Avidair Stadium to stay third.

Results:
Bradwell Saints 1-0 NSE Kovenham
Avidia City 0-1 Avidia United
Neathill 2-0 Caversham
Mercia Bromham 1-0 Foxchester Rovers
Casuals Osteria 1-0 Stanton Town
Caledon Simpson 1-2 Royal Emberton
Ousevale Borough 8-0 Aigburth Athletic
Kallia United 1-0 New Cefn Albion
Emberton Reds 1-1 AFC Linford

Matchday 15
Avidia United versus Mercia Bromham. Not one you'd mark as a mismatch, that. And yet, the Eagles made light work of the team who had begun the day second in the table, cutting through the Midlanders like a hot knife through butter. Emberton also get eight - though only against Aigburth - and the leaders have to be content with "only" three goals this week as they expand the gap at the top to five points.

Results:
NSE Kovenham 1-1 Avidia City
Bradwell Saints 1-0 Neathill
Avidia United 8-2 Mercia Bromham
Caversham 1-4 Casuals Osteria
Foxchester Rovers 0-2 Caledon Simpson
Stanton Town 1-3 Ousevale Borough
Royal Emberton 2-1 Kallia United
Aigburth Athletic 1-8 Emberton Reds
New Cefn Albion 1-0 AFC Linford

Matchday 16
It's all change in second...again...as Avidia United fall face first at the feet of Caledon Simpson. Ousevale pile more misery on Caversham to go six clear, whilst Stanton are sniffing down a Globe Cup place after a hard-fought win at the Isserson. That Globe Cup place, meanwhile, is held by New Cefn Albion.

Wait, what?

Results:
Neathill 0-0 NSE Kovenham
Mercia Bromham 2-0 Avidia City
Casuals Osteria 2-1 Bradwell Saints
Caledon Simpson 3-2 Avidia United
Ousevale Borough 3-1 Caversham
Kallia United 0-1 Foxchester Rovers
Emberton Reds 0-1 Stanton Town
AFC Linford 1-0 Royal Emberton
New Cefn Albion 2-1 Aigburth Athletic

Matchday 17
The winter break is upon us, and one question is on everyone's lips; can anyone stop Ousevale Borough? Bradwell tried, but failed, and the Tigers made amends for that KFA Cup exit. Mercia Bromham and Avidia United both notch up wins to keep things respectable, but it's going to take some effort to overhaul the men from the Southern Arena.

On the Globe Cup side of things, meanwhile, Casuals too advantage of fifth and sixth battering ech other to a draw to pull clear in fourth; behind New Cefn and Stanton, meanwhile, the resurgent Reds and their cross-city rivals wait in anticipation.

And at the bottom? It looks like three from four, with Aigburth's win over the Royals meaning they are just about keeping their heads above water. Fourteenth placed Neathill are still a good six points clear of them, however.

Results:
NSE Kovenham 2-3 Mercia Bromham
Neathill 1-4 Casuals Osteria
Avidia City 0-1 Caledon Simpson
Bradwell Saints 1-3 Ousevale Borough
Avidia United 1-0 Kallia United
Caversham 0-1 Emberton Reds
Foxchester Rovers 0-1 AFC Linford
Stanton Town 1-1 New Cefn Albion
Royal Emberton 0-3 Aigburth Athletic

Season Preview

*Denotes Captains
**Denotes Foreigner

AC Quarant Xa‘virt

Ground:Qurant Xa’virt Sphark Stadium 400,000
Manager:Arin Flitin
Colors:Cyan, and Yellow
Fan Support:Medium
Expectations:Avoid Relegation, Stay Mid Pack
Starters:Price, Wasabe, Fasnacht, Ford, Harrison,

Crabwood*, Cailou, Cantebury, Cladius, McGregor,

Phish
ReservesLee, Webster, Fitz-Williams, Boi, Gregs
Team InfoNot one of the original teams in the

Taeshani Premiership AC quickly rose to the Premier

League after they joined the league. The team has a

history of competing in international tournaments and has

one of the highest aggregates in a two game series. The

team is known commonly by its fans as the Athleticos,

and is sponsored by Ed’s Bar and Grill. It only took

them a year after relegation to get back to the top flight,

and i for one really hope they stay, i mean their colors

would make an annoying yoyo would they not? The team

also seems to want to stay, first deal was bringing up

young Defender Seth Fasnacht from AC Sikane to

replace outgoing Central Defender Mark Sherman, they

also swung a nice deal which saw Dagabert Queens head

Sikane's way for young Midfielder Mikal Cailou.

Al Haxire

Ground:Al Haxire Club Stadium 200,000
Manager:Takin Reah Jr.
Colors:Green and White
Fan Support:Medium
Expectations:Stay Mid Pack
Starters:Darzi, Inketil, Bousaid, Kuruchet**,

Ugrenrich, Entwhistle, Abdullah, Tyreke, Jyne, El-

Ghassawy*, Saab
ReservesAlbaf, McMicheal, Pertrand, Letterbee,

Federer
Team InfoAl Haxire was another team that joined

in the second most recent wave of new clubs, Al Haxire

though is the most prominent of the second wave teams

having been competitive in the championship race ever

since making it to the top division. Located in the city of

Wolfin on Wolf island is a predominantly Arabic team, as

are many of its fans. It is sponsored by Al Haxire

Gentlemans Club, and the teams nickname is the Genis.

The Genis were also on the young talent buying parade in

Sikane, luring Felecio Ugrenrich and Ideril Inketil from the

eastern team to replace outgoing defensive mainstays

Meaghan Grainger and Liam Lane, the back four of

Kuruchet, Bousaid, Ugrenrich and Inketil could prove to

have problems due to an overall lack of experience but

this should not stop them.

Atlantea Hurricanes

Ground:Atlantea Coliseum 590,000
Manager:Alexander White
Colors:Blue and Green
Fan Support:Very High
Expectations:Win the League…Easily
Starters:Samuel, Ikerlawsonaz**, Talley,

Vanswoi*, Sebastian**, Malote**, Kleinfelters,

Knickerbocker, Riverside, Prekith**, Murphy
ReservesLance, Drew, Klassen, Nichols, LaClaire,

Muoesh
Team InfoAtlantea Hurricanes is by far the most

prominent of Taeshani teams on the international and

national sides. The team has one the League 12 out of

the 23 seasons it has been held, and is the Taeshani team

to make it the farthest in the Globe Cup having achieved

runners up status in the tournaments 18th edition after

bowing out in the late rounds of the TQCC. The team is

commonly known as the Canes for short, and is

sponsored by the Atlantea Business Association. Another

summer gone by, another bunch of spending. The first

move was the retiring of three players, all in the midfield,

Dave Parker, Horace Goff, and Nellie McPherson. To

replace them first was youngster Allen Kleinfelters off the

bench, Zarbli Defensive Middie Minero Molate, and the

promotion of Academy player Henrik Klassen.

Bayern-Algaer

Ground:Bayern Stadium 24,000
Manager:Johnathen Lee
Colors:Red and Black
Fan Support:High
Expectations:Win League, Beat the Phoenix
Starters:Habavëm**, Wantanabe, Nantucket,

Angelburry, Tanner, Stewart*, Fisher, Walters, Williams,

Petran, Hermoney
ReservesCross, Frederick, West, Jackson, Haney
Team InfoBayern-Algaer are the most successful

team not named Atlantea Hurricanes in the League with

three Championships, and they are the Taeshani team

with one of the most successful TQCC run almost

making it as far as Atlantea did once. They are commonly

known as the Weavers to their fans, and are sponsored

by the lawyer firm Weaver, Smith, and Wrangler. 3rd for

the second straight year, the Weavers are falling behind

the rest of the league giants again, but in the offseason

after losing Brant Walters to retirement the first of what

many believe is the best young academy talent groups in

the world was brought up. Young Xavier Ptolemy joined

the senior side at the ripe age of 16, is he the future of the

nation? Or will he falter out?

Bayern Battery

Ground:Joe Sixpack Memorial Stadium 88,000
Manager:Andrew Jeremi
Colors:Purple and Black
Fan Support:Moderate
Expectations:Stay in top Flight
Starters:Narkly, Laswank, Miller, Andrews,

Grainger, Turcotte, Kline *, Potter, Sanka, Bolduc**,

Miller
Reserves:Mills, Swartaz, Boston. Obermaier,

Johnson
Team InfoThe third team to join the top flight from

the city of Bayern the Battery are vastly outspent by the

two bigger clubs from Bayern, and much of the time

outplayed. They may not have the money nor the players

of the other two but many believe that one day they may,

and the others should watch out. They are known as

either the Cannons, or Gunners and are sponsored by the

Taeshan Army Reserves. Can it finally be true, Henry Lee

out the door and long time bench warmer William

Turcotte will replace him in the midfield for the Gunners.

In other news the AC Sikane buyout continued as to

replace striker Harry Diaz the Gunners also bought winger

Sanka and brought him to the north side of Bayern. Also

joining the squad from Gieron FC Midfielder Thomas

Obermaier.

Bayern Phoenix

Ground:Old Club Stadium 77,000
Manager:Tyler Smith
Colors:Red and Blue
Fan Support:Very High
Expectations:Three-Peat
Starters:Newman, Cardona**, Mahatmo, Johnson,

Svenson, Wantanabe, Raul, Grainger, Williamson**,

Hughes, O’Hannigain**
ReservesDavenport, Sanchez, Green, Bishop,

Santiago, Petreas
Team InfoThe Phoenix were one of the teams

added after the Island Cup was officially stopped and the

league was expanded to 20 teams. The Phoenix have

always been contenders in the league but barely ever

prove to have any actual brilliance in the league. They are

commonly known as the Phoenix or the Flames, and are

sponsored by Glendale Pharmacy. Twice champions, can

this dream be true? The team though did nothing to quell

the rising talent in other clubs, and made not a single

summer signing, meaning, Can you compete if you don't

ever change, and just stagnate?

Blacklake Blues

Ground:Blacklake Blues Ballpark 79,000
Manager:Jeremy Fisher
Colors:Blue and Green
Fan Support:Medium
Expectations:Stay in top division
Starters:Martinez, Hardner, Martin, Montreal, Rat,

Nicolescu**, Octavian**, Morgenstern*, Valhalla,

Washington, Cannon
Reserves:Worchester, Drants, Tedeschi,

Rodriguez, Phoenix
Team InfoBlacklake Blues is sponsored by

Blacklake Brewery, and known as the Blues. Still in the

premiership many think that Fisher will have to do even

more messiah like work to keep the young blacklake team

in the premiership. Only one real change was made in the

squad, Jody Focher retired and the team bought

downward going Tintown's Forward Joel Cannon who

wanted real competition.

Fadrön Flight

Ground:Fadron University Field 89,000
Manager:Capricorn Mayuscula
Colors:Green and Red
Fan Support:Low
Expectations:Stay in top division...For gods sake
Starters:Micheals, Forrest, Lewis, Wallace,

Riggins, Weasley, Dumbledore, Scmitt, Dereke, Tree*,

Descamps
Reserves:Salt, Kenssington, Johns, Wallace,

Woods
Team InfoWell its been a long wait for the team

from the city that is home to pizza. The Flight are back in

the top division and are looking to stay there, but can

they. That is the big question in the city. The team

sponsored by the Taeshan Air aerocompany at least wont

have to worry about flying a lot. They are called the

wings and flyers by their fans. Once again they are still

somehow playing good enough football to stay in the

premiership, but they were getting old, and now there is

and influx of youth. Three players have arrived, from

Gieron FC defender Jacoby Kenssington, from Karela

Sekhika arrived Jansen Dereke, and a shocking signing as

Severus Dumbledore was coerced into signing away from

Laketown Rangers.

Knightspurs

Ground:The Dome 92,300
Manager:Micheal Tyler
Colors:Purple and Powder Blue
Fan Support:High
Expectations:Compete for Globe Cup spot
Starters:Yitterbee*, Petree, Sanchez, Nedved,

Hamlut, Etchebarne**, Lenders, Grey, Legart, Schwartz,

Lee
ReservesFrench, Flash, Legerd, Halfwech,

Leonard
Team InfoKnightspurs are another team from the

second most recent league expansion. The team is

commonly known as Knights or Spurs by their different

groups of fans who happen to not like each other.

Funnily enough the Club is Officially called Knights and

Spurs Club. But who cares, they are one of the teams

sponsored by Tae-Mart. The only offseason moves

included letting go of Toby Sanders too Laketown and

LeFever's Tony Flash to replace him for the next run at

glory.

Laketown Rangers

Ground:Stadium on the Lake
Manager:Jose Williams
Colors:Blue, Blue and More Blue
Fan Support:Very High
Expectations:Stay in top Flight, Compete for Some

sort of Cup
Starters:Riddle, Regulus III, Stevenson,

Lovegood, Finnigan, Thomas, Sanders, Lacroix, Pavel*,

O'Stagles, Whaler
Reserves:Yelnats, Lafferty, Laurette, Leary,

Warrington
Team InfoLaketown much like the Flight is back in

the top flight, but is more likely to stay here then the

flight. With blue clad fans and all. They are known as the

rangers (no frick right) and get their sponsorship from the

Laketown Police Academy. And not only was

Dumbledore on the way out, but longtime middie

McGonoagal also headed out. Sanders was bought to

replace Dumbledore, and Little Wingett backup

Midfielder Jon Lacroix was brought in to hole up the

other position.

Little Wingett

Ground:Town Park 34,000
Manager:Remi Lewis
Colors:Grey and White
Fan Support:Moderately Low
Expectations:Avoid relegation
Starters:Muller, Tenal, Walker*, McRudd, Peters,

Mathews, Tenneabaum, Lake, Von Hittite, McMicheal,

Rullo
ReservesHolliday, Smith, Hagerty, Mellinger,

Williamson
Team InfoLittle Wingett was the team from the

most recent expansion to first break into the premiership.

Wingett is the smallest town to actually have a club in any

of Taeshan’s soccer divisions with just under 30,000

registered inhabitants. The team is sponsored by Hammer

Corporation and is often called the Wingers, or Smallies.

It seems like the Wingett towns team has finally hit their

last leg in the premier league for the forseeable future. On

the way out over the summer was longtime leader

Anderson Patton. Patton was bought by My Ceabring in

hopes to possibly threaten the top sides with an actual

attacking midfielder. To replace him they called up 3

former academy players. Joshua Hagerty, Mattias

Mellinger, and Peter Von Hittite. Whoever replaces him

will have big shoes to fill, and really no one watching

them to care. Ralph Walker takes over the skipper duties

with Pattons departure.

Los Riosa Monstas

Ground:Gangsters Park 99,000
Manager:A.J. Kline
Colors:Blue and Yellow
Fan Support:High
Expectations:High Middle Pack
Starters:Bobby, Allison, Johnson, LaRue, Lee,

Overland**, Keens, LaPaige*, Mathers, Micheals, Verne
ReservesFortuna, Michealson, Noles, Jones,

Melville
Team InfoLos Riosa is one of the few teams that

has always been in the Premier League since they joined

the league. They are often known as the Monsters, or

Gangsters, and are sponsored by the Taeshani Mob.
Two new kids on the block this year. From the northern

neighbors in Polar Islandstates two youngster have

arrived to replace Donald Andreson and Polli Jones. Elias

Overland and Steffan Baumgarten will platoon the starting

job in left midfield with Overland being the designated

opening day starter.

Mierton Manatees

Ground:Mierton Area Park
Manager:Ilya Baker
Colors:Blue and White
Fan Support:Low
Expectations:Avoid Relegation, or Don’t
Starters:Lightfoot, McMullen, Sanchez, Hedges,

Levander, McCain, Liane, Evra, Gardner,Yelnats, Druw
ReservesMartin, Geronimo, Lewis, Lenox,

Stevenson
Team InfoMierton is sponsored by no Doubt

Apparel and not coincidentally known as the Manatees.

After two years out of being relegated the Manatees

fought their way back into the premiership. They are

though the least likely with SK Ojian to stay topside

though. They made no offseason attempts at signings,

and no attempts even at attempting a signing.

Minutemen

Ground:Sun Death Financial Field 20,000
Manager:Kyle Granderson
Colors:Red, White and Blue
Fan Support:Below Average
Expectations:Stay in top Flight.
Starters:Lions, Hartnell, Tamapher, Warkle,

Lemure, Connel, Hart *, **, Newman, Scott, Wanner,

McMicheal
Reserves:Lewison, Johnson, Edu, Williams, Lane
Team InfoMinutemen a young squad that broke of

from Ojian during one of the league additions stealing

some of the talent from the city, as well as proving to be

a nuisance in the Orangemen's side. The Sun Death derby

of Ojian always is fun to watch, and the small stadium on

the north side may not be big but it has money, and the

fan's continue to follow even though this team is sure not

to stay in the topflight as long as the southern rivals. The

Minutemen stayed in the top flight, but not much more

good came out of the previous season. They will look to

their young stars to keep them topside for another year,

and then maybe spend some of that money they talk

about. Maybe?

Mt Ceabring Thunder

Ground:Mt Ceabring Athletic Complex 10,000
Manager:Micheal Lupin
Colors:Brown and Cream
Fan Support:Very High
Expectations:Continue to Build for Future
Starters:King*, Gardner, Flores**, Scmidt, Parker,

Bell, Arthur, Blake, Thonrton, Jamison, Holliday
ReservesSmith, Tyrony, Zeke, Connelson, James
Team InfoMt Ceabring was an original member of

the Island Cup but was not included in the expansion of

the league, and only recently was reformed in the most

recent league expansion. The team quickly vaulted in two

seasons to the top flight and is looking to pounce into the

international scene. They are sponsored by Kane

Industries. What a stroke of genius signing national team

member Patton away from Little Wingett. And they

looked quite good with him in preseason. His arrival

though meant the departure of Chris Thonrton who will be

greatly missed, but i here Maue is good.

New Capetown Falcons

Ground:New Capetown Memorial Park 100,111
Manager:Matt Christopher
Colors:Pink, Red and Grey
Fan Support:Medium
Expectations:Middle Pack
Starters:Lance, Grey, Grant*, MacArthur,

Nashville, Kelly, Skinder, Westinghouse, Williams, Leo,

Rellians
ReservesWhite, Mashkov, Liandro, Frank, Cellani
Team InfoThe Falcons are sponsored by Falcon

Brewery. What a high, Last season a fifth place finish put

the Falcons in the Globe Cup during the summer, and

though sure they kinda performed poorly they learned a

lot. Now the learning curve steepens as Tyler Lee and Jon

Leftover leave, the starting goalie and Central defender.

Joining the first team in the upcoming season are backup

goalie Ryan Lance and a summer signee from Pwux in

Tyler MacArthur. Also joining the team is former Yaton

FC youth prospect Ryan Celani to backup in the pipes.

Ojian Orangemen

Ground:Ojian Principipality Field 99,000
Manager:Matt Wanner
Colors:Orange and Blue
Fan Support:High
Expectations:Compete for Globe Cup spot
Starters:Randew, Jacobsen, Mester, Stasny,

LeBefrve, Canada*, Feilhaber, Jewseth, Lise, Lewis,

Drake
ReservesGlen, Linchie, Grace, Toriago, Schlegel
Team InfoSponsored by a good cause many fans

have had heartfelt feeligns for the Orangemen over the

years. The Orange Lake Benefit Society helps cancer

victims across the country, and around the world. And

maybe the Orangemen can pull it together this year. But is

losing longtime starting Defender Timothy Glen, and

Wing Back Ondine Lee changing the future of the team?

It will be very interesting to see. From the downgoing

Tintown team the Orangemen have lured star

Benchwarmer Tyler Feilhaber as well as picking up Ken

Stasny of the I haven't played competitively in a year but

sure ill play list. Hans Canada has been passed the

captain torch form Glen.

Rapids

Ground:Rapid Athletic Park 100,000
Manager:Martan Lemur
Colors:Dark Blue and Pink
Fan Support:Rapidly Improving
Expectations:Stay in top Flight.
Starters:Möle, Lefwich, Sanchez, White, Martin,

Patel, Wassie, Lemiux*, Rooney, Gretsky, Parker
Reserves:Obliski, Gritsky, Fisher, Eberly, Nagle
Team InfoThe team is once again returning to the

top flight but as shown before they do not have the knack

for staying there. Can they do it. The team known as the

Rapids and Swirlies will try to prove they can...Rapid

Corporation a business for you. Not a single change for

the young side over the summer break, as many

expected. It will be another interesting year of Rapid

football to watch.

Reading Rainbow

Warriors

Ground:World Aquatics Park 67,000
Manager:Randall Lee
Colors:All of Them
Fan Support:High
Expectations:Compete for Globe Cup
Starters:Cataguay, Micheal, Gerald, Micheals,

Walker*, Czapp, Debronowitz, Ireland, Walters, Peters,

Dirt
ReservesMason, Williams, Catamount, Lennon,

Wiggin
Team InfoReading oh what a site to see, on any

given day they have a new jersey. In fact im pretty sure

their contract stipulates that they can not where the same

exact colored jersey in more then two games...Yeah weird

huh, owner Peter Fuller is flamboyant at the least and a

flaming homo at the most. Well it was an interesting

offseason for the most out and about team in Taeshani

football. It included the loss of a starting midfielder and

goalie, and a backup in the middle. The losses led them

to signing away Percy Ireland to start in the middle from

Yaton FC, luring Carol Cataguay away from Real

Chinchinhua for the goalkeeper position, and signing

Tintown's Jensen Lennon into the replacement midfielder

duties.

Real Chinchinhua

Ground:Real Stadium on the Lake 99,001
Manager:Mefusula White
Colors:Red and Purple
Fan Support:Very High
Expectations:Compete for Championship
Starters:Lighaj, White, Sacha, Fisher, Green,

Fuller, Houck, Palisades, Fullerton, Flowne, Oberholtzer
ReservesPato, Dissinger, Longer, Lee, Anderson
Team InfoReal Chinchinhua is known as the

Chihuahuas by its fans for the way of always staying in

the game and taking down higher ranked teams on their

way to becoming prominent in Taeshan. They are

sponsored by Water Solutions of Lake Minor. Over the

summer they not only lost one of their young goalies half

the team retired including defensive stalwart Asher

Washington. The Five replacements are a bunch of

academy members so if they compete a lot this year it will

be a shock. Backup in goal will be Peter Anderson, Now

starting on defense is Jeff Fisher for Washington, and

three of four midfielders are new, Andrew Houck, Walter

Palisades, and Garth Fullerton. Also joining the side is

young defender Manny Pato. Taking over the captaining

duties will be Forward Justin Flowne.

Team Info2 years form division four to division

one. What a stretch its been for SK and they look to

continue it. The newest team in the premier league both

literally and yearly, SK will look to push boundaries even

more as they fight to stay in the top flight.

SK Ojian

Fan Support:Very High
Expectations:Compete For Championship
Starters:Williams, Hollows, Watkins*, Patel,

Yelnoes, Blueknife, Holloway, Keller, Leszack, Kljestan,

Woods
ReservesGrainger, Smith, Growel, Miller, Grveler
Team InfoWiechester land of the Wonders, but

they have always had a soccer team to. The Ballers are

sponsored by Tae-mart. They really didn't spend any

money over the summer, and they really didn't need to.

X Island Marauders

Ground:X Island Metropark 200,000
Manager:Jack Long
Colors:black and White
Fan Support:High
Expectations:Compete for Globe Cup Spot
Starters:Diego, Kline, Landsdale, Green, Tedeschi,

Lane*, Grace, Landslide, Granni, Fisher, Conway
ReservesOlliver, Micheals, Lewis, Drew, Perans
Team InfoX Island Marauders are the most historic

rivals to the Atlantea Hurricanes, but have only once one

the cups themselves. They were members of the Island

Cup championship always losing to the Canes in the

finals. They have had a rollercoaster few seasons lately

and are not a very consistent team. Still around they

continue to be good, but not above good. But what can

you do? They also decided not to make any summer

moves which is a trend this year for mid table sides.

Ying Jing Yankees

Ground:East Ying Park 223,000
Manager:Brad Farnsworth
Colors:Maroon and Royal Blue
Fan Support:Medium
Expectations:Avoid Relegation
Starters:Walker, Barton, Suan, Jacoby, Fuller,

Lewiston, Sandeigo*, Forrester, Drake, White, Madrid
ReservesGregs, Tyrelius, Thomas, Fissure, Lamar
Team InfoFinally one of the original Taeshani

teams has returned to the highest of the leagues after a

very long time in the relegation fields. Only one player not

aged 23 on this team. And they still stayed in while

watching long time opponents Tintown fall to the second

division. It should be another interesting year avoiding

relegation, but it will be exciting.

万事リーグ第1師団 (National League Division One) Season Preview

Image

Ana'ole
Image Home
Image Away

Formation 4-3-1-2
Manager Keiju Morita
First XI (GK->ATK, L->R Kanoku, Kawa'ole, Me'ka, Keona, Umaba, Moki, Lono, Rignes*, Ohayashi, M'amo, Uno
Hometown Ana'ole, Uke Islands

Going into this season, Ana'ole is one of the clubs that will consider themselves lucky to just avoid relegation. The club is regularly targeted by more prestigious clubs as little but a farm team and their appearance in the top flight of football is surprising because of that. Unfortunately for them, and their fans, they will most likely sink back down to Division Two and could perhaps slide further into obscurity. Even if they manage to stay afloat, such victories will likely be temporary as next season will likely have the same exact forecast for the club.

Image

Denki Edo
Image Home
Image Away

Formation 4-3-3
Manager Ken Iowata
First XI (GK->ATK, L->R Tashiro, Takeuchi, Tsutsumi, Kowa'olu'ahi, Kouno, Takashima, Oogusuku, Morikawa, Okuyama, Koumura, Iida
Hometown Murason, Edo, Idainshima

Denki Edo is another one of those clubs that will be in the hunt to simply avoid relegation. Going into this season, they have one of the youngest rosters in the entire league something, which could either help or hurt them. Popular opinion says that they are untested and because of that the club may well drop to division two but, the opposite could be just as likely. Denki Edo could possibly do extremely well and end up fighting for UICA and CRF places. Either way, they will likely be one of the more exciting clubs to watch this season and we will stay tuned.

Image

FC Edo
Image Home
Image Away

Formation 4-3-3
Manager Kodama Tanimoto
First XI (GK->ATK, L->R Yoshihara, Naitou, Hatsutori, Orión*, Tanimoto, Sato, Brynildsen*, Lorenzo*, Mexíco*, Garciaparra*, Hino
Hometown Daunchiku, Edo, Idainshima

Of all the clubs at all levels of Yorozuyan football, FC Edo is by far the most foreign of all of them. Boasting an unmatched five foreign players in their first XI they have a certain style of play that one does not find with other Yorozuyan clubs. It is faster, quicker and unquestionably better especially since they have four players who were on the Virabi national team and likely still would be if the VFA and organised football didn't dissolve into a billion pieces a few years back. Among this list of players is Júan Mexíco who, along with Johnny America, is considered to be one of the best players to ever come out of that nation. Mark my words, FC Edo will do extremely well and of all clubs probably has the best chance of taking home the crown.

Image

Fuji Horo-Sha
Image Home
Image Away

Formation 3-4-3
Manager Shigeru Ishida
First XI (GK->ATK, L->R Kohara, Tsukamoto, Sakai, Eida, Tashiro, Yakota, Kona'ne, Okuyama, Bishop*, Nakatani, Konishi
Hometown Fuji, Idainshima

Fuji Horo-Sha can comfortably go in to this season and think that they have a rather good chance at qualifying for a UICA place if not winning the league as a whole. Running the 3-4-3, a formation somewhat foreign to Yorozuyan football, the club are able to use a solid midfield which stars centre midfielder Jouta Yakota to take control of the game and against most clubs dictate the tempo. However, they are far from the best club in the league as their offence and more so their defence leaves something to be desired. Stronger clubs are able to easily dominate them and as we said earlier, it is likely FHS will place in the top four but a championship would likely require them to be at the next tier which, they are not quite at.

Image

Fukuhito Samurai
Image Home
Image Away

Formation 4-4-2 Diamond
Manager Shinsei Hakui
First XI (GK->ATK, L->R Hidaka, Sanwa, Hall*, Nishimoto, Hafliðason*, Tou, Ine, Taihei, Kichikawa, Oshiro, Tominaga
Hometown Fukuhito, Fukuhito Prefecture

Despite being one of the older clubs in what is generally thought to be one of the youngest leagues out there the Samurai have amongst the heavy favourites to win the title. With a new manager in Shinsei Hakui and the recently obtained Virabi defender Liam Hall, the Samurai look to step into this season with a nice spring in their step. Their biggest fear, however, will be how to handle clubs like FC Edo and Montoriōruekusupozu who are clearly one tier above the Samurai. Nonetheless, the team is one that is one of the most experienced in the league and it will take a cold day in hell for them to not achieve a top three finish.

Image

Hojosan
Image Home
Image Away

Formation 3-4-3
Manager Shimon Takeuchi
First XI (GK->ATK, L->R Morikawa, Shirai, Iijima, Yamakawa, Mizuno, Nan, Azuma, Kurokawa, Ito, Kawamoto, Kai
Hometown Hojosan, Hojoshima

Hojosan is one of those teams whose performance you tend to forget about. Finishing right around mid table most glance over them, as the real fight is for the top positions and to avoid the bottom ones. Fortunately for Hojosan, this means another season in the top flight of Yorozuyan football but, it also means that they go nowhere else. No UICA berth, no bonuses, no CRF berth putting them at a slight disadvantage next year. So, for Hojosan it will be just another year. Nothing special.

Image

Kyōhō FC
Image Home
Image Away

Formation 3-3-4
Manager Ted Deguchi
First XI (GK->ATK, L->R Hori, Prejean, Minami, Nagao, Andou, Ogura, Kawamura, Kaai, Kudou, Tanaka, Kochi
Hometown Kyoho, Hanto

In many ways Kyoho FC are a rather unusual club. They play the extremely takil 3-3-4, which is one of the most offensively minded formations in Yorozuyan football. This causes many of their matches to be high scoring affairs. As one would guess, the results of doing this are mixed. While Kyoho cam beat some of the more defensively minded teams, against fellow takilan clubs it comes down to a contest of who can score more goals in 90 minutes. Another thing unusual about their club is the organisational model which is much more akin to what one would have found in Virabia during the days of v.league. A slim minority of players are paid and those that are work a job outside of football. Also, like Virabi clubs it is a cooperative between players, fans and coaches. Yet, despite being rather different, the club does rather well, especially considering it's the only semi-professional club in the top five levels of Yorozuyan football. However, because of that fact, it is prevented from accessing the upper tiers of Yorozuyan football and this year, as they have in the past, Kyoho will be just another stable mid table club.

Image

Mahalo Ken
Image Home
Image Away

Formation 3-3-1-3
Manager Makio Tani
First XI (GK->ATK, L->R Ko'alu, Na'hele, Araki, Oota, Grimley*, Takashima, Suda, Nagata, No'ame'tamo, Kuro, Kamakaʻeha
Hometown Mahalo, Uke Islands

Mahalo Ken is a good club that just makes bad decisions, primarily that of selling midfielder Bane Lono to rival club Ana'ole and replacing him with Inish national team back up midfielder Paul Grimley. While the move could potentially turn out in Mahalo's favour it just goes to show the rampant mismanagement of the club and because of it, Mahalo will almost certainly be relegated unless there is a change in both management and club direction.

Image

Montoriōruekusupozu
Image Home
Image Away

Formation 4-3-3
Manager Yuusaku Okano
First XI (GK->ATK, L->R Kan, Kinjou, Ohira, Kanou, Hara, Kawai'i, Nii, Higa, Yoshioka, Nakazawa, Kanou, Kvalmsdal*
Hometown Montoriōru, Kebek

Montoriōruekusupozu is one of the older clubs in the league and despite their recent dominance, their time has likely come to pass. Unless they are able to find new young talent, which is unlikely given the clubs less than perfect financial status, it is unlikely, especially since most of the youth that the club produces (which is among the finest in the nation) leave the club before they ever play a minute for the senior side. That being said, the Expos still do have a couple more good years left in them. One or two max, then expect them to freefall. For now, though, they are a top club and will be headed to UICA and CRF tournaments. The only question being if they have what it takes to top FC Edo and their all star team.

Image

Nippon Fuji
Image Home
Image Away

Formation 4-4-1-1
Manager Naoharu Shinosaki
First XI (GK->ATK, L->R Taue, Ueda, Oike, Okuno, Inagaki, Sawada, Māhealani, Ikegami, Bermúdez*, Ookawa, Skeyhill*
Hometown Fuji, Idainshima

With two young prospects in midfielders Māhealani and Bartolomé Bermúdez from Virabia, Nippon Fuji looks to return to the glory days when they were unquestionably the best team in the country. That is still a few years away, however, as for now they are one of the teams on the bottom end of the skill spectrum. This could end up being rather bad for them as both of their young stars could move away if Nippon drops down to division two which, is a big possibility for them.

Image

Nohashitte FC
Image Home
Image Away

Formation 4-2-4
Manager Ryouta Abe
First XI (GK->ATK, L->R Ooki, Saiki, Tanba, Kishi, Ootsuki, Masuda, Iwai, Sawada, O'Donnell*, Matsushima, Yasui
Hometown Nohashitte, Nohashitte Prefecture

Nohashitte is another one of those clubs that are rather unremarkable. Aside from wearing kits that are constantly voted among the best in the league, not much is all that notable. They are another solid mid-table club and unless things take a dramatic change for the better or the worse they look to stay that way.

Image

Nōsuu Esuto Edo
Image Home
Image Away

Formation 3-4-3
Manager Michito Niita
First XI (GK->ATK, L->R Bjarnarey*, Umega, Hagi, Oouchi, Fukui, Habte, Lundström*, Ishii, Kanno, Uemura, Oikawa
Hometown Edo, Idainshima

Despite possessing the oldest player in the league in 41 year old Inish keeper Paddy Bjarnarey, Nōsuu Esuto Edo is still one of the top clubs in Yorozuyan Football. Despite this, they are missing a few pieces to the puzzle and because of that they are but the black horse in the race for the title. There is some hope for a brighter future as manager Michito Niita has promised that come the off season he will be rather aggressive in the transfers market and will look to secure quite the remaining pieces to the puzzle. "Be ready", he said in a press conference where he outlined the clubs goals for the season, "In two years, we will be the team to beat."

Image

Rooster-de-Lis
Image Home
Image Away

Formation 4-4-2
Manager Hibiki Kotani
First XI (GK->ATK, L->R Yamane, Nishizawa, Tsuda, Ookawa, Sekine, Okano, Matsuda, Jackson*, Oikawa, McAdoo*, Iwamoto
Hometown Salo, Texashima

RDL is another one of those top teams that still has a little ways to go until they are truely a great team. Stuck in the tier below the truely elite, they still need a few more pieces to the puzzle, the foremost being bench depth, to be added in before they will likely challenge for the title. That being said, they are a dark horse in this edition of the league and could win but, to those expecting the title to come to Salo, don't expect it. The odds are stacked against it and it will likely take more than the team performing to 100% (injuries to other clubs' key players etc.).

Image

San'Airiando
Image Home
Image Away

Formation 4-3-2-1
Manager Hiroki Okuta
First XI (GK->ATK, L->R Maoli, Niita, Miki, McKay*, Oikawa, Tou, Danielson*, Utsumi, Tokuta, Guðjónsson*, Adjei*
Hometown San'Airiando, San'Airiando Prefecture

Among other things, many question Okuta's the decision to start fifteen year old Vilitian striker Lita Adjei has been controversial, and while the club is generally one of the better teams this year this is an excellent example of the poor decisions made by owner/manager Hiroki Okuta who insists upon running the club his way, which is in to the ground and despite many pleas to the league to forcibly remove him no action has been taken. So, despite all of the skill they posses they will probably end up on the bottom end of things, which, is rather unfortunate because if they had a competent manager they could be one of the best.
