Deep within the Mountains of Arcaia, Duchy of La Aquitaine, Kingdom of Peace

The High Ruling Council of the OFD holds their meetings within the Mountains of Arcaia, deep to the north of La Natara, away from prying eyes. As the cold air and snowflakes breeze through the air outside the mountains, within them, the Lord Protector, standing in front of the assembled 99 other delegates begins to address the Council, who are all clothed in black, their faces and bodies hidden, only their names known to the others. In the Highest level of the OFD, Secrecy is the rule. When one speaks, his or her voice is disguised. Those who make up the Ruling Council hold national allegiance second, and the OFD first, Liberty, Freedom, and Justice are the motto of the OFD. The High Ruling Council leads the OFD, a massive organization, which operates in the day and in the night. During the day, they are a paramilitary organization and political party within the Kingdom of Peace, led and commanded by the Queen, loyal to her and their nation. At Night, they are Spies, Revolutionaries, and above all, a everlasting plague to their enemies, answerable to no master, nation or man except to those who have given wholly to the cause.

When a Revolution or Revolt strikes a Paradoxian nation, those who seek to destroy it command their spies to hunt down the OFD informers and operatives within their nations. When a coup is attempted against a Paradoxian Government, charges are leveled towards the Kingdom and the OFD. When a scientist, general, or other important man or woman is shot, the first thought is to level their sights against the OFD operatives in the region. When ships explode in harbor, planes drop out of skies, and tanks sabotaged, bases destroyed, the thought running through the heads of the victims would be the OFD once more stuck at their nations. And most of the time, the accusations would be true.

The Lord Protector, a mask on his face, said, 'On behalf of Her Majesty, the Queen Sandrilene of the Kingdom of Peace, she requests the OFD's intervention in the Great Asian War currently being waged by several nations in Paradoxia and their allies throughout the World against the regime of the Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia a nation that has suppressed her Peoples, wages war across the whole of World, which has conducted human rights abuses to other nations, their own people. They have bombed parts of their own Empire, simply as "experiments". As an organization committed to the defense of Freedom, Democracy and Justice, Her Majesty demands the OFD take decisive actions against the Japanese Dystopia. We shall now move immediately to vote upon this issue Comrades.' The Lord Protector, elected from the ranks of the Council to become its Representative to the Monarchy for 5 years, was this time a Ishgarian emigrant who like so many, fled the Dystopian regime of Ishgar.

One by one, the Regional Sections of the Council voted as a group to approve the proposal. When done, the issue was unanimously passed, the OFD would begin operations in the Japanese Empire.

New City, La Natara, Duchy of La Aquitaine, Kingdom of Peace

As the Orchestra performed Gustav Holst - The Planets, for the first time in the new La Natara Theater, in the New City quarter of La Natara, many of the members in the audience, were not focused on the marvelous performance. In fact, many were instead focused more or less upon the Stage Box holding the Duchess of Pareth, Ms. Thayet. Aside from being young, pretty, and immensely rich, most importantly, she is a Princess, sister to the Queen, and Second in line to the Throne. It was scarcely a wonder that so many eyes were upon the Princess. Rich, Pretty, and a possibility to become Queen had set the eyes of Aristocracy and anyone near them to watch the Older Sister of the Queen and hope to ally themselves by marriage to the Crown.

The Aristocracy of the Kingdom of Peace had never been weaker. First, the Fascist Coup and the Monarchist Counter Coup later in the Year 2009 had severally maimed the ranks of the Aristocracy. The Fascist Coup over the Military Semi-Dictatorship of Prime Minister Viviani had been bloody, as members of Aristocracy connected to the liberal, socialist parties had been forced to flee the Southern States north to OFD controlled territory, or East to the Eastern States of the Kingdom. Later, as the power of the Prime Minister Ninnemann grew, and his Right-Wing Militia, the Royal Guards grew stronger and more oppressive, Ninnemann began to forcefully take over the other parts of the Kingdom, forcing many into exile. Under his control, The Royal Family was targeted during Ninnemann's Betrayal or the Massacre of Royals, at the Palace Theater in the Capital, where a performance was being held. Over 5,000 people were killed as the Royal Guards executed many in the Palace Theater and moved to purge many in the Capital. The King and Queen, protected by a core of OFD guards escaped the city and eventually reached the Duchy of La Aquitaine.

Later when the Monarchist Coup began, the remains of the Aristocracy had fled underground, escaped to La Aquitaine, or were hiding in exile outside of the Kingdom. However, a large number of Aristocrats had supported the Fascist Coup and rule, and the Counter coup had not only targeted the Government, and Parties, it had targeted the Military Forces, and Aristocrats supporting Ninnemann. Of concern was a plan to declare the Duke of Malgrave as King following a successful plan to assassinate of the Royal Family. This prompted the operation to begin, and the Counter coup further reduced the ranks of the Aristocracy as the OFD slashed its way through the Southern States, destroying in its entirety, the Power Structure of the Fascist Regime.

Now, the Monarchy rises in power once more, filling the vacuum left by the end of Fascism, and with it hostile to the Aristocracy, If the Aristocrats, weak as they are already, cannot find a new weapon to resist the change, will instead become weaker and weaker. Princess Thayet comes to the center, if a Aristocratic Family can marry into the Royal Family, the influence of the King would be curtailed and the remaining powers reserved to the Aristocracy can remain preserved. This performance is the first time that the Princess has appeared publicly since the 1st Crawnaftian War, and all eyes are upon her.

It was with so many eyes looking upon her, that her cell phone hummed silently, a text message. Her eyes, fixated on the Orchestra, turned downward to her phone, confusing her more slower suitors for a second. The Puppet Masters and smarter suitors were thinking uniformly, what does that text say? Is it a boyfriend, or more worrisome, a betrothed? they wondered. It was neither. It was a message from the Queen, calling her to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Old City, La Natara, Duchy of La Aquitaine, Kingdom of Peace

The Building housing the Minister of Foreign Affairs, was an unimpressive building, which looked much the same as the other old buildings within the Old City. Old or not, it remained the Ministry's Headquarters. To meet her for an as yet unknown purpose would be the Undersecretary Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sir Adam Haufler, a veteran Diplomat and more secretly, a member of the OFD. When the Princess came in, the Undersecretary bowed and showed her a chair. Once she sat, he began by pointing to a map of Japan.

'Princess Thayet, We have a diplomatic situation which requires a high-ranking member of the Government or Monarchy to attend to. As you are a accredited Diplomat already and most of the members of Government are too busy to attend to this matter, the Queen decided to ask you to fulfill this mission. As you well know, the Kingdom of Peace and several other Paradoxian nations are currently engaged with other nations in the world against the Imperial Japanese Dystopia and her Empire.
Now, Japan has decided to begin a formal alliance to support her Empire and we must ensure that this alliance does not enter the War in Japan's side and most importantly, not invade the Paradoxian mainland. Of course, you are aware of the reports coming from the OFD about NIC?
No? Hmm, well, anyway, NIC or NewIndependentCanada has damaged the relations between the Japanese Dystopia and her allies. Now, the extent of this damage is critical, apparently the Canadian delegation attacked a HoS for the country of TurtleShroom. Furthermore, instead of kicking NIC out of this alliance, Japan took no action and insisted on NIC remaining despite a unanimous decision by the other Alliance members to kick NIC out. Its in light of this intelligence that we have decided to conduct a new diplomatic offensive featuring you, Princess. You will leave within 24 hours for the country of YellowApple and the floating city of Del Tangerino, where a Summit of the Dragon's Pact is being held. You'll first meet with the HoS for TurtleShroom, who remains in the hospital, then meet with members of the Governments of YellowApple, Comrade Commisar, and Imperial--japan. It is absolutely important that you secure promises of non-intervention in Paradoxia at least. Be careful, Japan and Canada especially will attempt to stop this Diplomatic meeting from occurring. Queen Sandrilene placed the phone on her desk, after sending the message to her older sister, the Duchess of Pareth, Princess Thayet. Leaning back on her comfortable chair, and staring once more at the snowy night outside Ainamoor, she gathered the words to prepare 4 Diplomatic messages to the members of the Dragon's Pact, a message to her fellow Leaders of the Paradoxian Crusade, and a prayer for her dear older sister.

Returning from the end of the Second Summit, Nuclear Minister Ten Shi was quietly sleeping in his seat.

Immediately, his mobile telephone (cellular phone) was going off. Awaking violently he answered the phone, a Red Guard was on the other end reporting the situation.

"Comrade Minister!" Spoke the Red Guard, "A telegram regarding the Second Dragon Fury Pact Summit has arrived! Apparently, 'The Kingdom of Peace' wishes to discuss something with you personally Nuclear Minister."

Scruffing his hair, the Nuclear Minister looked at his phone.
"The Summit is over." Silently spoke the Minister, "Tell them that I'll reply later or something. Bullshit something like a good assistant would, I don't want the Kingdom of Peace thinking I postponed them because I was very tired..." He stated, hanging up his phone.

The Red Guard, slightly surprised that the Nuclear Minister would simply postpone a meeting, understood. The Minister had been very busy for the past few days, working with little sleep. He went to a typewriter and immediately issued a reply.

"It does not matter fool, we must learn diplomacy or we will become isloated! Those Liberal fools when In a jam of have heaps of allies to call on, and are only real friends is some Asian communist dictatrorship and some peace loving socialist Canadian country!", roared Minister of Interior Jamie Stone. Mr. Fredrich Stenier exited a brothel in the Pairs red light distrcit. One German and one Scottish man watched him from a jeep, 500m away. "Thats are contact", said the Scott to his nazi friend. The German pulled the jeep beside the Walking Stenier and uttered the code words. "My, all French people are cowardly liberals" Stenier smiled and said, " not as much as American people" Stenier climbed in the back and they drove to an abanded hotel. They walked in and found a large cache of weapons in 5 duffel bags. The Scott picked up a MP5 SMG, a M9 pistol, and a M14 . The German got the same. Stenier took a P99 pistol, and a MP-28. They crashed there for the night, and in the morning thet would fly to Yellow Apple, to kill the United states of Peace Delegates going to Yellow Apple..........

In Yellow Apple, an equestrian nurse was assisting Sim Young, who had been nearly killed by the heathens of New Independent Canada, or, as the government of TurtleShroom now officially recognized it: "The Japanese Dystopian Territory of Canadevil"; it was not a country to said nation.

"Your Majesty?"

"Y-yes?"

"Regent Young, it's good to see you awake."

"Ah, another haws. It's amazing, it really is, that Yellow Apple's haws medicine is better than any turtle, mushroom, or human medicine of TurtleShroom. I don't know how you do it, but I feel much better already!"

"We're an advanced nation with medicine beyond your people's, possibly centuries ahead."

"Well, it's wonderful. It really is. Your bedside manner is exquisite!"


Sim was wearing hospital garments in place of the robes his office required. The crown he normally bore sat on a shelf to the right of his hospital bed. The room was well-lit and covered in advanced medical technology, Of course, Sim Young had been attatched to medical monitoring systems until he came out of his state of unconciousness.

He staggered and managed to pull himself out of the bed, reaching for his staff of office, which the Yellow Apple doctors had modified to serve as a cane.
Simply removing the silver cross that topped it made the durable staff able to support the Asian man's weight.

Throwing his support on his staff-turned-cane, the Regent limped slowly to pick up his crown and placed it on his head. He turned to a mirror and smiled. He had taken a severe beating from Nick Fury, but he would heal.


His nose had been shattered and had to be reconstructed. A scar ran up his right cheek, while another ran from the right temple of his head, onto his forehead, and curving around his nose to end at his lip. One final scar went diagnolly from just above his right eyebrow, over his eyelind, and down an inch past his eye, like an old movie villain.

Sim's left hand had been broken so badly Yellow Apple had suggested an amputation, for it was no longer useful. Sim opted for prosthesis, but turned it down when he saw the mechanical hand Yellow Apple proposed.
He was going to use good old TurtleShroom prosthetics instead: either a nice wodden replica of his left hand, or a metal hook. As such, Yellow Apple had forged him a metal hook.
(The pony nurse didn't really understand this choice, but reasoned it was his patriotism and support for TurtleShroomian medicine. She was, though, touched that he loved is country enough to take lesser healthcare. That'll win him a lot of votes.)

As for his walking, well, in TurtleShroomian medicine, he'd be parapalegic unless the privatized spinal rehab centers took the ruler in for nine months. Yellow Apple turned nine months to nine hours, following an intense surgery that enabled the Regent to walk, but not run, and with a cane and a limp.

Sim was only in his twenties, and was saddened that he'd already lost most of the spring in his step. It was almost as bad as losing his left hand! He was, fortunately, right-handed anyway, but it'd be tricky.


Sim limped to the nurse and pet her on the mane. This was something most TurtleShroomer farmers- and any TurlteShroomer familiar with horses, mules, or donkeys -would do when the horse did something right. Sim reasoned that this sentient horse- the pony breed to be specific -would enjoy that.

"Good horse." Sim said.

The nurse smiled and recognized the gesture.

"You're from a farming country?"

"TurtleShroom is over sixty percent agrarian, yes. Now, can you help me? I need to get my robes back on. I was recently briefed that someone from a militaristically charged 'Kingdom of Peace' requested an audience with me. Ironic name, but it's my duty to act in place of all functions of the Chancellery, including diplomacy."

He adjusted the crown on his head and used his intact hand to push the glasses up his reconstructed nose. His glasses had to be remade from scratch, and he had insisted on duplicates of TurtleShroomian optics, despite the Yellow Apple procedures of Lasic, contacts, and sensible frames. Again, they attributed that to patriotism.


He sighed.

"Well, I guess I'm in custody of this hospital for... how long?"

"Until Wednesday, your Majesty."

"Interregnal Majesty, ma'am. That's what my title actually is. No harm done, though."

"All right."

Sim sighed as he looked at his left hand, or, rather, the prosthetic hook that was once is left hand. The hook gleamed of chromium (chrome?) and was well-sanitized and dishwasher friendly. It was crafted out of whatever futuristic metals Yellow Apple had synthesized and would not break under any normal situations.

"I can't believe that scumbag made me CUT OFF MY HAND!"

He sighed.

"I think that's a casus belli for war against New Independent Canada. Sadly, they're no longer a country before TurtleShroomian law, so we'd be invading an ally."

He sighed, fiddling with the hook of his left hand and reading the hospital bracelet.

"SIM YOUNG. HEAD OF STATE OF TURTLESHROOM. PRIORITY. YELLOW APPLE HOSPITAL. DO NOT REMOVE. -000001-"

The robes were white with grey Apple Computers, Inc. logos all over them.

"I got to get to the lobby of the hospital."

The horse nodded and explained how to get there.

"Need any help?"

"Of course not! I'm only in my twenties and I'm one-thirteenth of TurtleShroom's head of state... I can... I can go myself."

He reached his left hand to the door to grab the doorknob, but the hook didn't work.

"Stupid Nick Fury! A pox him and ALL his people!"

He used his right hand and opened the door. Slowly, oh so slowly, he limped his way to the elevator and went to the hospital's lobby, hoping to see the Kingdom of Peace delegate there.

PARIS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT


Stenier and the two Waffen SS agents boarded a flight to Yellow Apple, and they would arive in six hours. Stenier took a seat and the two SS brutes did the same. " Did you hear that Nicholas Fury almost killed that Asian rep from Turtle Shroom", snickered the Scottish SS agent. "Indeed, all of there people are weakling", chuckled the German agent. Stenier laughed quielty and looked at his watch. " We have arrvied now", said Stenier. All three of the Canadian SS killers swiftly exited the plane and colected there luggage and took a cab to a hotel opposite the hospital were Sim Young was being housed. They all checked there weapons and ammo, Stenier ordered that all there heavy weapons be left behind, So he took his P99 pistol, and the two other SS got there M9 pistols. All of the SS put on nurse garments and they jogged to the hospital lobby. All three of the SS sat down, they would wait for the USP delegates to arrvie before striking. No one noticed them becuase of there nurse uniforms so they were hidden.....

That's actually a pretty damn good depiction of YellowApplan technology and personality. They might take personal offense to being called "horses" (especially considering the confirmed biological, psychological, and genetic differences between typical horses and sentient/sapient equines), but YellowApplans are generally patient and understanding of foreigners who are not familiar with YellowApplan culture.

The medical bracelet would be more like this:

Also, the medical wardrobes would indeed be white gowns, but the logos would be yellow (like on YellowApple's flag). The hook would be constructed from either graphene or carbon fiber (or both), as would the rims of the glasses; metals are rarely used in YellowApple, other than in electronics or industrial settings, as the stronger and lighter carbon-based materials are preferable and more readily available, due to YellowApple's obvious lack of a mining industry.

Oh, and doors are generally either automatic, button-push, or simply able to be pushed open, as, even though most residents have hands, ponies do not.

Diplomatic Representative Blue Belle, having finally concluded the Second Summit of the Dragon's Fury Pact, figured that a visit to Mr. Sim was in order, in the hopes that his injuries could be remedied. Arriving at the 6E^nd Medical Ward in Downtown Del Tangerino, the equine delegate proceeded through the main entrance into the hospital and, having confirmed the room with a human receptionist at the front desk, proceeded up an elevator to Floor 15, then down the hallway to room E7.

Stenier, the Scotsman, and the German followed Blue Belle up the elevator. She was about to open the door and Stenier grabbed her hoof. "Escusese me miss, this man needs some medical attention, so kindly leave", said Stenier nicely. The two SS behind him nodded.

Blue Belle turned around, unsure if it was surprise or frustration that welled in her conscience.

"Pardon me, sirs, but you do not appear to be any on-duty YellowApplan authority, and I have already received clearance for visitation from the staff of this medical facility, given my diplomatic status and the condition of the individual I am expected to meet, thus indicating that, unless you can prove otherwise, you do not have the authority to deny me access. So if you'd please excuse me..."

Not wanting to take any chances, however, Blue Belle used the horn-computer interface sheath over her horn to wake up and unlock the tablet computer hidden in her satchel before using her memorization of keystroke commands to dispatch Domestic Security Corps diplomatic guards. Better safe than sorry, as the three men seemed rather suspicious in their behavior. She then pushed a button on the panel beside the door, which prompted it to slide open and for her to step through.

Stenier smiled and said, " You do not understand, I INSIST" Stenier pulled out his P99 and pointed it at Blue Belle. The other two SS took out there M9 pistols and also pointed them at the horse. " Miss, we are very good at getting what we want, but are request is simple. I demand you cease all contact with the United States of Peace or face termanation. Please step aside", said the Scotsman.

Blue Belle, strangely, didn't cower, or even fear at all. She simply giggled. She wasn't sure why. Maybe the shock of having one of her mentors' charred, bloody body shield her from missile blasts was the reason, or maybe her being in utter shock caused a tweak in her personality, but she simply laughed. They were burly men with guns, and she simply laughed.

Laughed and bucked the front-most one in the shins, then again in the face, before pulling the gun out of his hands and pointing it directly at the top of his head via levitation.

"Wrong move. I suggest you call off your little henchmen, too. Especially since you're now outnumbered and outgunned."

Around the corner came a 4-man detail of YellowApplan Domestic Security Corps Enforcers, who, sighting the weapons, drew their Morita III rifles and fixed them on the three aggressors.

"Drop your weapons," one of the guards yelled out as they approached, "and get down on the ground!"

This was especially comical, considering that there wasn't any C4 on their heads, and thus the Enforcers only a few meters away would have little trouble incapacitating each and every one of them. How she thought of this was bizarre to her; were these the kinds of thoughts that ran through Karl's head every time he ever encountered a conflict?

To escort the Princess to and during the series of diplomatic meetings, a full platoon of OFD Palace Guards would accompany her. A overaggressive response, but necessary for the current Heir to the Throne and Royal Family member. The OFD Palace Guards, are an elite unit of OFD soldiers, veterans of past wars and frequently recruited from the Special Operations Branch of the OFD (Spies and Paramilitaries). To the General Public and other nations, they were merely decorative statues before the Fascist Coup.

This idea of the Palace Guards merely being decoration persisted until the Massacre of Royals. Despite being outnumbered, outgunned, the OFD unit guarding the Palace Theater, a total of 50 men and women, held the Theater for a vital 45 minutes, allowing many to escape the massacre and flee, including the King and Queen. Indeed, throughout the Southern States of the Kingdom, despite overwhelming attacks, OFD militias and other forces held their positions for days, allowing thousands to flee to the North and East. The Royal Palace in the Capital despite being besieged, was held by OFD Palace Forces until being reinforced once the Monarchist Coup began later in the year. Princess Thayet would be the sole Diplomatic delegate, escorted by a full platoon of OFD Palace Guards.

Princess Thayet had been stunned by the floating city in the sky, Del Tangerino, and even more surprising horses, or ponies flying and walking around. After leaving 20 guards at the airport, the group assembled and went straight to the hospital, for the Princess to meet the HoS for TurtleShroom. As they entered 6End Medical Ward, and moved up the elevator, which conveniently had enough space for her and the 15 guards heading to her room. The other 5 would keep watch outside the hospital for suspicious persons. They entered the hallway of Floor 15 when they heard weapons being wielded and the sight of a pony holding a gun to a man, with other guards training their weapons on him and 2 others or the man and woman who entered. Without a pause, the Lt. in charge of the delegation's security threw the Princess into the elevator with himself, to evacuate the hospital. The other 14 guards, who had been holding assorted weapons, assault rifles, and handguns, moved to train their sights on what seem to be enemy combatants and spread out to other corridors.

Blue Belle now had an almost sinister look on her face. The muzzle of the gun she was levitating was less than a meter from the head of the nearest terrorist, the barrel aligned quite nicely with all three heads. She simply smiled cruelly.

The trigger on the weapon then pulled, as did those of the three DSC Enforcers. She didn't exactly care about the new participants. Just about the blood due to be sprayed all over the pristine white walls.
