Warrior Bio:
Reliable Excavation Demolition is a holding corporation, allegedly specializing in "demolition operations". In reality, from behind a myriad of sub-fronts, it secretly controls half the world's governments, led by founder and CEO Redmond Mann. Beneath the convincing exterior of their bases of operations, computer racks, satellites, rockets, and missile installations can be found throughout these bases.
The other half of the world is just as secretly controlled by their rivals, the Builders League United. Each corporation administers its half of the world with a multi-disciplined army of paper pushers. For any problem lacking an obvious bureaucratic solution, mercenaries are contracted to address the situation through a massive application of force. Conflicts between the two companies began as land disputes between their leaders and have continued through hundreds of years to the present day.
RED and BLU share an intense rivalry, with nearly all encounters between the two quickly escalating into brutal and often fatal violence. Inter-company friendship is also strictly forbidden by mercenary contract. Despite this, the RED Demoman and the BLU Soldier became fast friends after meeting at a projectile weapons expo. Once this was brought to the attention of the Administrator however, she pitted them against each other in a deadly competition that promised a mysterious new item to the winner, twisting their former friendship into a bloody war.
RED favors a more rustic style of architecture than BLU. However, while its dress code is rather liberal in terms of clothing, it is required that employees adopt a red motif for easy identification

I have work and a child.
Both are accepted, but just a word of warning to both game-based players: While we will attempt to keep the flavor of the games in your posts, when it comes to decision time, how things work on game won't be taken into account.

well both are funded on basic PMT or FT standards, now the RED mercenaries, they deserve full view on this. Also It helps to follow canon, Reynol follows it, I follow it, just make sure to go over it.

This is a standard boilerplate answer that I plan on giving to all game-based creations of any sort. No reason to get all antsy over it, fella.
Also, the weapons testing will be what this show is about. IE; The fact that you're super-human doesn't matter. At all, really. It won't really come into play, just as the real show rarely, if ever, takes physical prowess of the warriors into account. As I said before, this is 90% weapons, 10% equipment.
@DRak- It helps, but I will not deny a good application that does not have a picture for appearance. It is likely the least important part, truth be told.

Well your going to see the Spartan Swap right through the COG then, because even fans of Deadliest Warrior know that you should always go over the X-Factor.

1- While I will still accept movie or book based characters, no game characters. The reason is that I believe people are so attached to how they play that when i RP the final simulation and it doesn't pan out the way they wish, it will start arguments regarding how such and such force wouldn't do this or that. And while this is almost certainly true, it is how the show itself operates- Sun Tzu wouldn't be fighting by himself, he would be leading an army, just one of many examples of the lolzy epic awesome fail of the show.
2- There will be a set time limit for responses. Generally, I want to finish tests within a day once they actually start.
3- I need one, maybe two, other people who are willing to help co-run this so we may have multiple episodes at any given time.
