Understanding the Pool

The players numbered 1-11 would be considered the starting 11 if the cup started today. The players 12 and 14-24 would be direct backups, along with three additional players. Every player in the pool is competing for one of 26 roster spots throughout qualification. When the team qualifies for the World Cup (or the Cup of Harmony, should they fall short and are invited) the pool will be cut down, and the numbers will be reassigned to the final squad. Throughout qualifying, starting rosters and the bench at each game will feature a different mix of players from the pool to determine the final roster.

Twenty cycles on, has Qusmo recaptured its magic?

Qusmo has qualified for the World Cup on sporting merit in each of the last two editions of the tournament. It had previously only qualified on sporting merit for World Cups 82 and 83. Qusmo reached the knockout rounds of both tournaments, after falling in the group stage in two of the three prior tournaments it had participated in. Just last tournament, Qusmo earned the top seed in the entire World Cup knockout bracket and won its first-ever World Cup knockout game, to cap off a sixteen-match winning streak unprecedented in Qusma footballing history. Qusmo matched its best-ever finish in any World Cup, losing in a penalty shootout in the octofinals, after having only previously reached that stage in the thirty-two-team World Cup 82. Given the statistical convention that matches ended by shootouts are typically counted as draws, Qusmo is still, technically, on an active seventeen-match unbeaten streak in WCC competition.

The signs are everywhere you look. Even in the Copa Rushmori, long the bane of the Caldera Sun, Qusmo made the knockout rounds for the very first time since the Reforms in the tournament’s most recent edition. Having previously won only one knockout game at the tournament, against an unranked team on home soil in between World Cups 82 and 83, Qusmo beat a rival ranked in the top fifty in the Multiverse in an incredibly charged Battle of Albrecht Road. For their efforts, the team is now ranked thirteenth in the Multiverse: its best-ever ranking, granting it a place in pot one of Qualifying for the second-ever time, after World Cup 83 Qualifying, and potentially even putting the team within touching distance of pot one in the World Cup proper. This team, led by current manager Ilinx-Kepex Zev, appears every bit as formidable as the nation’s previous best teams, led by then-captain Ilinx-Kepex Zev.

But as rightfully celebrated as this team and manager have been for getting Qusmo back to its greatest heights of circa World Cups 82 and 83, the team still has yet to surpass them. Qusmo reached the World Cup octofinals, but so they had before the Reforms. Qusmo reached the Copa Rushmori quarterfinals, but so they had twice before the Reforms. As impressive as Qusmo has looked at times, they have glaring weaknesses, too, particularly against strong, physically powerful teams. That came to a head against the terrifying shaggoths of the Holy Empire which crushed the Caldera Sun’s charmed run in Farfadillis, but Qusmo’s two other weakest performances at the tournament were against the towering teams of Drawkland and Valentine Z, and Qusmo has always seemed to struggle against the physicality of Rushmori opposition.

And looming beyond all this is a doubt less defined, yet more existential. Over the course of four consecutive World Cup matches spanning the eighty-second and eighty-third tournaments, Qusmo had faced teams ranked each of fourth through seventh at the time of kickoff — Turori, Brenecia, Farfadillis, and the Holy Empire — and emerged with two wins, a one–nil loss, and one octofinal elimination via penalties. But martial law was declared in Qusmo in the midst of that very tournament, World Cup 83, and international sport in Qusmo disappeared for a generation. In those dark days, no small number of civilians disappeared, as well. Will this team, and this country, get a chance to not just find success, but sustain it — and perhaps reach even greater heights along the way?

It’s a new dawn for Qusma football. It’s a new dawn for Qusmo. Glory to Qusmo, glory to Qusmi’y.

Biographies

Goalkeepers

Kepex-Cheng Yan is a reflexive, shot-stopping 31-year-old goalkeeper, with a thoughtful personality. Originally born in Qanz to Qusma and Yue parents, they and their family fled the country when they were young during the Reforms, before eventually being forced to flee again to Nyowani Kitara during the Yue Civil War. Finally, the Nyowani Kitara Conflict forced their family to flee as refugees once again, this time returning to Yuezhou. They were hailed as the answer to Qusmo’s longstanding goalkeeper question when they first accepted a call-up for Qusmo, but Ilinx-Kepex shockingly dropped the star player and humanitarian from Qusmo’s squad entirely for their first tournament in charge, stating they would prefer Kepex-Cheng to challenge themself in an IFCF league. The manager got their wish, as they transferred to Qastyr — very conveniently for the manager in joint control of that club and the national team, it must be said — and were once again called up for the team.

Alfan-Dynom Jan is a daring, sweeping 25-year-old goalkeeper from Lavorn, with a relaxed personality. Alfan-Dynom has been a national team regular, making each of the past seven rosters for Qusmo, but has only accumulated eleven caps over their career. They are largely seen as squarely the second choice behind Kepex-Cheng, but they can offer a bit of a different profile in goal, which may be helpful against certain sides. Alfan-Dynom will likely get a turn in goal at some point during Qualifiers, but their as the true number one isn’t quite here yet, no matter what their kit number may say.

Jerat-Betva Dar is a confident, inspiring 25-year-old goalkeeper from Kolle, with a soft personality. Jerat-Betva is receiving their first-ever national team call-up this Qualification cycle and is the only uncapped player on Qusmo’s World Cup 101 Qualifying roster. They’ll hope to make an impression, and perhaps even earn a debut, for the Caldera Sun. Whether they’ll be able to make it onto the pitch ahead of Kepex-Cheng and Alfan-Dynom is an open question, but if nothing else, they seem very willing and eager to play a support role and lift everyone else’s spirits, which is ideal for a third-choice goalkeeper.

Center backs

Vralx-Lucex Mal is a tidy, progressive 23-year-old left-sided centre back from Tracam, with a calm personality. They were instrumental to their relatively small hometown club’s remarkable cup successes while playing with Trosoc, providing both the security at the back needed for nervy knockout fixtures and the confidence to play forward that entices big clubs. As a result, they earned a transfer to the top league in the Multiverse, facing some of the most lethal attackers in the game head-on and often coming out on top. They’re also a darling of the manager’s, as having centre backs who can attack (and forwards who can defend) is exactly how Ilinx-Kepex loves to play. In short, don’t expect Vralx-Lucex to be dropped to the bench anytime soon.

Prant-Culak Guv is a quick, well-positioned 26-year-old right-sided centre back from Wexe, with a loving personality. They were the top Qusma footballing prospect of their year when they turned pro, and they stayed near the top of the domestic game in Qusmo ever since, before spreading their wings to the Red League. Now, they partner Vralx-Lucex as the first-choice centre back duo both for their club and their country. Shakhter had the best goals-conceded record in the entirety of the Red League last season, and Prant-Culak is one of the biggest reasons why. They don’t have the same touch for passes going forward as their centre back mate, but they’re indefatigable in the back and vital for Qusmo.

Sylax-Penac Fox is a quick, well-positioned 22-year-old left-sided centre back from Qanz, with a loving personality. A precocious talent, Sylax-Penac was named Ilinx-Kepex’s starter at club level for Qastyr, the most historic club in Qusmo, at just sixteen years of age. They’ve been at the club as a defensive rock ever since. Given Vralx-Lucex’s dominant hold on the starting position for the Caldera Sun, they may not get to see much of the pitch, but they’re a more than capable understudy should Vralx-Lucex need a rest or if something were to happen.

Vralx-Ilinx Tla is a bombing, crossing 27-year-old defender from Samedin, with a calm personality. They first rose the ranks at youth level and with Ilinx-Kepex’s Qastyr team as a right back, not a centre back. However, they’ve been able to adapt all across the back line in their time in Bonusia, most often featuring as a left centre back for Keklaneka. They’ve finally reemerged in the national team picture, but this time as a right centre back. It might be a bit risky to only call up three “true” centre backs for Qualifiers, but other players, such as Kynda-Tylyr Ezi, may also be able to deputize in case of emergency. If nothing else, Vralx-Ilinx’s positional versatility, tireless spirit, and deft touch could be an interesting wild card to play in Ilinx-Kepex’s system, depending on game state or opponent characteristics — and they may well also be an option at one or two other positions along the back line, as well.

Full backs

Xelez-Matez Wek is a 29-year-old left back, born to Qusma parents in the Squornshelan Remnant States. Having been moved from KFX Halazem to Olympia Arkintoofle to Océanic for a combined eight million dollars, they’ve long been one of Qusmo’s brightest talents. The question is whether their superb club play always translates to international level, as they have been caught out on several occasions in ways that might surprise regular viewers of the Squornshelan Superleague or the Kelssek Championship. By all accounts, they’re certainly proven themself Qusmo’s most talented left back, but can they prove they’re the best player for its national team?

Balax-Winad Abe is a tireless, end-to-end 25-year-old left back from Atlem, with a laid-back personality. Anything you ask Balax-Winad to do, they'll do it, and they’ve become a favorite of Ilinx-Kepex Zev for both Qastyr & the national team. They may not have quite the same talent as Xelez-Matez, but whatever they lack, they make up for in sheer determination. Every ball, every pass, every duel is the most important one, and they simply do not quit. They may not have the same pedigree, but they’ve taken the starting job on the national team at times before, so don’t be surprised if they take it again.

Sevet-Ajark Tez is a 31-year-old right back. They made their name across the strait in the Kytler Peninsulae with Edencliff, becoming not only a reliable part of the team’s defense, but a genuinely valuable member of the attack. They’re willing to bomb forward and get into places fullbacks normally don’t. That can be valuable in a system like Ilinx-Kepex’s, which prioritizes shifting space, positional rotations, and sparking just enough indecision or hesitation from defenders to capitalize. The problem, of course, is that when they’re forward, they’re not back. They may be tireless, but it’s still true that the ball moves faster than any player, and a prepared opponent can capitalize by counterattacking into the space they vacate before they can recover.

Lynul-Sevet Pul is a 34-year-old right back. They’re a steady presence at the back — reliable, and less prone to go forward than Sevet-Ajark. Given their stylistic differences, they’re a fairly common choice as a late-game substitution when trying to close out fixtures. Sometimes, when really hunkering down, Ilinx-Kepex has even experimented with leaving both these players in, with Lynul-Sevet taking Sevet-Ajark’s place on the right side of the defense and Sevet-Ajark becoming of more of a wingback or even wide midfielder. It may seem risky to not have any options at or under thirty years old at this position, but don’t forget that Vralx-Ilinx can, and likely will, play at right back at some point, as well.

Midfielders

Nulzk-Vlont Tla is a dynamo, box-to-box 28-year-old central midfielder from Qanz, with a creative personality. They're a graduate of the academy of Qastyr, famed for its work with central midfielders in particular, but they were forced out by the glut of talent the team had at that position. They still proved instrumental in Trosoc’s cup successes in recent seasons, and despite the fact that seven Qastyr players made it onto the national team roster, Nulzk-Vlont is one of only three from Qusmo’s domestic league who play at a club that doesn’t happen to be managed by Ilinx-Kepex Zev. They help connect all phases of play, from attack to defense to attack again, just like Ilinx-Kepex used to do during their own playing days. Not coincidentally, they’re a favorite of the boss.

Trenj-Wulat Fox is a safe, ball-recycling 25-year-old central midfielder from Qanz, with an assertive personality. Don’t let the former Qastyr midfielder fool you, though: they enter Qualifying with ten goals for the national team, a rate of one goal every four caps. They don’t love to play quick combinations as much as some other members of the squad, or as much as Ilinx-Kepex might prefer, but they’ll direct the ball gets where it needs to go: to a player in maroon and gold. When in defense, they’ll cover their ground and direct the ball gets where it needs to go: to a player in maroon and gold. And although they’re not as well-versed with combination play as some of their teammates on a squad that exalts technical ability, they do know how to position themselves in just the right place. It’s not too rare to find them suddenly emerging from midfield, unmarked and apparently forgotten by the defense, to direct the ball where it needs to go: straight into the back of the opposition’s net.

Winad-Harta Xlo is a dynamo, box-to-box 25-year-old central midfielder from Zwall, with a loving personality. After excelling in Qusmo with serial champions Atlov, the midfielder went abroad to develop their game, eventually landing in Indusse. There they honed their game, adding defensive steel to get Ilinx-Kepex’s attention as a contender for a national team roster spot. Winning a place in Liga Prime’s Best XI last season helped seal the deal, and they weren’t just named to the roster — they’ve impressed so much that they’re expected to be named in the starting XI on matchday one of Qualifying, despite having only previously ever played in two competitive fixtures for the national team, both in Copa Rushmori XLIX. Still, the fit in Ilinx-Kepex’s system could be tantalizing: a player who, although primarily a defensive base in midfield, can roam around the entirety of the pitch and do anything required.

Kynda-Tylyr Ezi is a 30-year-old central midfielder, born to Qusma parents in the Squornshelan Remnant States. Though they now also play as a defensive midfielder for their club, they started their career as a central midfielder and have all the technical skills to show for it, which are highly coveted by national team manager Ilinx-Kepex Zev, a former star at the position themself. Expect Kynda-Tylyr to be a frequent substitute, and potentially a starter, in games when a particularly tough defense is expected to be necessary or when trying to close out games. Kynda-Tylyr’s defensive chops are prized so highly, meanwhile, that some rumors have circulated that Ilinx-Kepex may consider employing them not in central midfield, but in central defense. Perhaps they’ll be used for cover not only in midfield, but for the conspicuous lack of true centre backs on the national team’s roster?

Fen Kepex-Potts is a 26-year-old central midfielder, born to Qusma and Tumbran parents in Tumbra. They are a common super-sub for Ilinx-Kepex, coming on in the second halves of matches to inject even more energy and tempo into the center of the park, which can help overwhelm opponents on tired legs — especially when the match is played at extreme altitude in Qanz. Kepex-Potts isn’t a specialist in any one area, but they’re an excellent force multiplier, allowing everyone else to do their job that much better. Even when they’re on the bench, just knowing that a sub’ll be coming on in, say, the sixtieth minute can allow the starters to push with every last drop of energy, instead of saving it for a full ninety. They may not be a starter, but they’re a vital component to how Ilinx-Kepex likes to play.

Wingers

Belaj-Rilan Dar is a 31-year-old left winger, born to Qusma parents in the Squornshelan Remnant States. They are also a ten million dollar player, having recently moved from Kelssek to Chromatika for a record fee for any Qusma player. Last season, Alnio qualified for the Champions League with the best goalscoring record in the entire Red League, and Belaj-Rilan is no small part of that. At this stage in their career, they are the most influential player on their national team’s forward line and a bolted-on starter for several cycles on.

Nalet-Kresp Saf is a trustworthy, back-tracking 29-year-old left winger from Xyn, with an elitist personality. They may not be the easiest to get along with, but they get the job done, and, ironically, they’re not afraid of doing the dirty work when they're on the pitch. That can help knit a good side together, and that’s something that secured a League of the Single Sun-record three million-dollar transfer to the top-ranked league in the Multiverse, as well as a spot on Qusmo’s national team roster. They’re certainly national team-caliber, but they’re unlucky to be stuck behind Belaj-Rilan. For the national team, they’re mostly used as a super-sub to help continue applying pressure on teams with fresh legs and eyes hungry for goal.

Culak-Zelez Guv is a 29-year-old right winger, born to Qusma parents in the Squornshelan Remnant States. A striker originally, they were moved out to the wing for their national team to accommodate more established options, & they became a no-doubt, written-in-pen member of every sensible Qusmo starting XI by being a prolific goalscoring force on the right — until they were unceremoniously dropped from Ilinx-Kepex’s first national team roster. Culak-Zelez sought a new club in response to the new manager’s demand that players challenge themselves in IFCF-active leagues in order to receive continued call-ups for the national team. They ended up on the club roster of Ilinx-Kepex Zev themself. Funny how that works out.

Izilv-Ilinx Val is a tricky, unselfish 24-year-old right winger from Qanz, with a thoughtful personality. They’re not so much a goalscorer as they are a creator for others. They’ve previously only played a pair of matches at Copa Rushmori XLIX as a result. However, with Qusmo’s striker position suddenly seeming a bit open, Culak-Zelez could be a dark horse candidate to return to centre forward and take the reins — in which case, Izilv-Ilinx would likely be the player on the right feeding them chances. Don’t underestimate the impact of the club connection with midfielder Winad-Harta, either. If their club chemistry takes hold for the Caldera Sun, they could see the pitch more — either as a substitute, or perhaps even a starter.

Strikers

Xalan-Yunal Can is a fearless, marauding 24-year-old nominal central midfielder from Qanz, with a passionate personality, who has been turned into a false nine for the national team. They’ve played for Ilinx-Kepex at club level their whole career, and they’re a mainstay for them with the national team, as well. They’re a bit of a wild card. Can’t break down an opponent with pretty passes and combinations? Xalan-Yunal’ll run at them and see if they can do anything to stop them. They’re one of the best dribblers Qusmo has, and they always — always — have an eye for goal. The only thing Xalan-Yunal seems to love more than running straight at a defense seems to be uncorking shots from thirty yards out. They may not always hit the target, but when they do, they tend to be scorchers. That unpredictability — in their positioning, their movement, their combinations, their take-ons, their shooting — has opened up a new element to the national team’s attacking play.

Walinase Hynym-Forzu is a 30-year-old striker, born to Qusma and Biyambian parents in Biyambi. She’s won just about all there is to win in Biyambi. With Mansanduni Union, she won Biyambi’s first-ever league–cup–Mandalanusan treble. With Ngwazi Strikers, she’s just won the BSL Golden Boot. She’s always been on the cusp of the national team, barely on either side of the roster cut line. However, with one of Qusmo’s legendary strikers having just retired, and Helek-Pertz likely soon to follow, a golden opportunity presents itself. Even more auspicious: fully a third of Qusmo’s Qualifying fixtures this cycle will come against teams from Mandalanusa, the region she has played in her entire career. She has grown to specialize in scoring, and winning, in Mandalanusa. Now, she’ll get the chance to do so with her national team, as well.

Pilta-Zorno Xam is a rapid, nimble 27-year-old striker from Qanz, with an ambitious personality. After impressing as part of one of the top attacks in Bonusia, the former Qastyr striker will get their chance to represent the national team, playing for their old club manager. They can do a little bit of everything, whether combining with teammates, scoring stunning strikes, or finding just the right space to receive and convert a tap-in. When the lights are shining their brightest, however, can they do the same for the national team?

Tactics

Manager Ilinx-Kepex Zev will nominate the following players to start Qusmo’s opening match of the Qualifying campaign against Calgasia. The team’s starting XI is subject to change throughout the course of Qusmo’s World Cup 101 Qualifying campaign.

Ilinx-Kepex has laid out a very clear vision for how their football teams play, which is clearly influenced by their own playing career as a do-it-all, box-to-box midfielder. They’re getting results both at club level with Qastyr and at international level with Qusmo. With both teams, Ilinx-Kepex wants their side to dominate possession of the ball. Even more than that, though, they want their team to be interconnected in all facets of the game. Wingers should have the freedom to swap their sides of the pitch. Defenders should be ready to advance and play incisive balls. Strikers should be able to drop into midfield, operating akin to false nines, and teammates should be able to dart upfield to reoccupy vacated space. Midfielders should be everywhere. There should effectively be ten box-to-box midfielders on the pitch.

The manager has even published an open letter, called the Fuzpon Manifesto, articulating their philosophy, in an attempt to encourage Qusma clubs, academies, and youth development programs to adopt a similar, national style. The thinking: use vision, creativity, technique, and sheer tirelessness to overcome deficits in height or physicality. That is a clear weakness for this team, but when every player is connected — working together, switching positions, manipulating space, sprinting up and down the pitch for ninety minutes, progressing the ball with flicks and first touches — it can be a thing of beauty.

Kits

Image

The official kit supplier of the Qusma national team is the Starblaydian-based enterprise ediraf. Though many expected Fuzpon Qusma to select uni·q to win the new Qusma national team contract, the federation has opted to equip the team in the same kit in which they competed in World Cups 82 and 83, as a link to Qusma footballing heritage.

Culture

Gender: All people of full Qusma descent are nonbinary and androgynous and use they/them pronouns. Some male or female Qusmi’y do exist, but they are generally children of multinational heritage.
Names: For those with traditional Qusma names, family names are followed by given names.
Nomenclature: Qusmo refers to the country of Qusmo itself, Qusma is an adjective for something that is from or of Qusmo, a Qusmi is a person who is Qusma, Qusmi’y are a group of more than one Qusmi, Qusmi Bez is the title of the leader of Qusmo, and Qusmu is the native language of most Qusmi’y.
More information: For a more in-depth look at Qusmo and its culture, see Qusmo’s host information for Copa Rushmori L.

Competitive record

Qusmo debuted in World Cup 80 Qualifying and qualified for World Cups 82 and 83, but due to the Reforms, it ceased play until the ninety-sixth World Cup cycle. Qusmo qualified to a home and historic World Cup 100 on sporting merit, making it to a hexadecifinal against fellow cohost the Kytler Peninsulae, before going on a tear to end World Cup 101 Qualifying, producing some stunning group stage displays at the main tournament, earning their first-ever World Cup knockout win in the hexadecifinals against Valentine Z, and falling on penalties to the Holy Empire in the octofinals. Qusmo has never before played in three consecutive World Cups. Could they do it at World Cup 102?

Stadium

All of Qusmo’s home World Cup Qualifying matches will be played at Qusmo’s national stadium, Mastad Qusma. Located in Qanz, Mastad Qusma has a capacity of 80 000 people.

Qanz is not just Qusmo’s largest city and capital. It is the political, economic, geographic, historic, cultural, and mythological heart of the nation and of its people. Qanz proper was originally constructed on an island in the caldera lake of a massive, extinct supervolcano. Qusmi’y from all across the country take immense pride in their legacy as a people which emerged from the Caldera, but many also wish that Qanz didn’t dominate the nation’s culture and the priorities of its governance.

In keeping with the spirit of Qanz itself, Mastad Qusma is the largest and most historic stadium in the country, and it is the home of its national team. Fuzpon Qusma has dispensed of their former tradition to allow the national team to tour around different cities and venues around the country in order to maximize a unique home advantage for Qusma teams: at nearly 3000 metres above sea level, Qanz’s precipitous altitude may have a noticeable effect on the ball’s flight or players’ lungs, particularly without sufficient acclimation. No club team is a tenant of the stadium, to help make it a truly neutral, unifying ground for the whole nation. The stadium, therefore, relies primarily on concerts and other special events to generate revenue when not hosting national team matches or domestic finals.

Mastad Qusma has previously hosted the finals of all Fuzpon Qusma and some Federation of the Single Sun domestic cups, as well as the finals of UICA Youth Cup 24, CRF Campeonato Rushmori Juvenil XVIII Sub-20, UICA Series B Champions’ Cup 68, FSS Copa del Ganso 2, CRF Copa de Campeones 45, CRF Copa Rushmori XXXII, and CRF Copa Rushmori L. It hosted five matches at World Cup 98, including Qusmo’s opening match, one of the hexadecifinals, and the Crpostran–Edsmontik semifinal. It also hosted four matches at World Cup 100, all during the group stage. The stadium has been outfitted with plenty of luxury suites and amenities for VIPs, celebrities, and other deep-pocketed individuals as a result of this fairly regular stream of high-profile events.

Stadia
National Stadium, Tydebwg (cap. 52,000)
The National Stadium is the pride and joy of Kwrpan football fans. Host to the Kwrpan Cup Final, as well as Bright League clubs (and fierce rivals) Ironworks and Central, the stadium is the country's largest, with an expansion of 12,000 seats in the runup to World Cup 100. Served by the Bomsygmwk (Stadium District) metro station, and just ten minutes from Tydebwg Central Station, the stadium is also the easiest to access for foreign visitors. While the renovations have improved the overall quality of the facilities, it is does not quite match the modern cathedrals used elsewhere in the tournament, but the relatively steep stands and the dense surrounding district will provide an extremely vibrant atmosphere, especially when the Electric Eels are in town.

Sunset Coast Arena, Bezbenpam (cap. 40,000)
Host to games during both World Cup 100 and Copa Rushmori 50, Sunset Coast Arena is the peppy, vibrant, colorful new stadium of the nation. With all stands covered by a roof, an LED ring provides support for holographic light displays in the open area high above the pitch, while 1,093 "scales" around the facade illuminate it in various colors, providing a beautiful rippling effect or all sorts of other designs to the surrounding city and those entering the ground. Located just meters from the beach, it's not uncommon to see people walk directly into the ground in their beach shorts and sandals to support their hometown Sunset Coast in the Bright League, before walking back out and jumping in the ocean to celebrate a victory.

Capital Park, Kwrpanmap (cap. 35,000)
Capital Park is, fittingly, the stadium of the capital, and received transformational modifications in the leadup to Copa Rushmori 50. With the two main stands having been completely rebuilt to add over 10,000 seats, the stadium retains its most notable charm - the southeast end of the stadium, facing downtown Kwrpanmap, is entirely open and just tens of meters from a cliff-edge, providing a stunning view of downtown, backlit by the setting sun during an evening kickoff in a breathtaking way. The stadium itself remains a rather traditional one, with a roof only covering the main stand and part of the opposite stand, and the shallower, bowl style of seating providing a more comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.

Thundering Falls Stadium, Tygnad (cap. 19,400)
The Mist Valley is a hidden gem of beauty in Kwrpania. The combination of the weather, where warm, humid air from the coast and Mother River meets the cooler air of the upland South, and the roaring Thundering Falls just outside of town that mark the end of the navigable portion of Mother River, create an unending mist that floats and swirls throughout the valley. The mist can be stunningly beautiful, especially in the early morning light, but its constant presence has created a rather gloomy people. That ends when they walk in the Thundering Falls Arena, though, the home of their beloved Mist Valley club in the Bright League. Expect mist (of course), a several-day scenic boat ride (if you would prefer not to drive on slick, sometimes windy roads) and perhaps a bit of rain, and a boisterous crowd who aren't shy about lighting flares to drive their players on and the mist away.

River Society Arena, Zońkwsed (cap. 12,500)
The local River Society is an integral part of the fabric of Kwrpan social life. Founded across the country, these non-governmental organizations have their focus solely on the protection of the wildlife and habitats of their local rivers. River Society Arena, built along a smaller tributary within the city of Zońkwsed along the mighty Mother River, is the most prominent sponsorship effort of the national organization of River Societies, with two games per season in the Bright League (and the seeing the gate proceeds donated to societies across Kwrpania. The stadium itself fits within the environmentally-conscious ethos of its title sponsor, being the only stadium in Kwrpania built primarily out of wood, with solar panels and water recycling meaning that it is the lone stadium in Kwrpania, and one of the minority throughout the multiverse, in being a net-zero-emissions stadium even while including construction costs.

My opponent, if they RP first, may do the following:

Choose my scorers
Godmod scoring events
RP injuries to my players* (please TG/DM me to let me know, I determine severity)
Give yellow cards to my players
Give red cards to my players* (up to 2, please TG/DM me to let me know)
Godmod other events* (TG/DM me if they're interesting, I'll usually approve)

(Also available for contact on the NSSports discord)

Notes:
Kwrpan naming convention is [given name]-[House prefix] for shortened names, and [given name]-[patronymic]-[House] for formal names. You should not use the formal names in any RP, except when referring to government ministers and politicians, but referring to e.g. GK #1 as "Fakswr" is not acceptable - it must be "Fakswr-rof".

Eastfield Lodge Roster for World Cup 102

Image

Demonym: Eastfielder

The Imperial Commonwealth of Eastfield Lodge is a vast conglomerate of nations and states that resides almost entirely in a separate dimension to the reality you all know and love - a bubble universe would be an apt description (the why is a long story, involving the Dreamed Realm and a threat to the existence of the entire universe). The one bit of the country that lies in the regular dimension is a tiny island in the northern seas of the famous sporting region Rushmore, which serves as a transport hub for travel across the region by conventional transport, and for travel to the Imperial Commonwealth via something called a Void Ship (think of it like travelling through a well controlled wormhole).

The history of the country is long and complex, but the key overview is that it is a very socialist Muslim constitutional monarchy, with a noted reputation as being one of the nicest places to visit in the entirety of the known multiverse - the most recent WA census puts the Imperial Commonwealth in the top 100 nations in several measures such as Safety, Compliance/freedom from crime, Tourism, Weather, Compassion, Niceness and Environmental Beauty, amongst several others; most of which are also ranked as the best in the Rushmore region. Because of the initial portal, the nation advanced forwards in leaps and bounds technologically due to intermingling with denizens of another dimension, various alien races from the universe in which the popular RLStates TV show Doctor Who is situated. Whilst these aliens used to take part in life in the Imperial Commonwealth, even forming the Eastfielder National Team for a number of tournaments, they no longer exist in this bubble universe, due to a dimensional shift no longer aligning the two dimensions - for now, Eastfield Lodge only contains those beings that you find elsewhere in the NS multiverse.

Whilst we are a fairly chill nation, we are still fairly socially conservative, and there are plenty of special rules visitors need to be aware of:
  • No Alcohol. At all.
  • No smoking or recreational drugs at all. Visiting team members/fans will be given replacement/cessation therapy if struggling to cope.
  • No public displays of affection. What you get up to in the privacy of your own hotel room is up to you, as long as it stays there.
  • There isn't a legally enforced dress code, but at least dress respectfully, the locals will appreciate you.
  • Cities are by and large car-free zones; make use of the extensive public transport system.
  • Don't worry about a language barrier, there is an inbuilt telepathic translation circuit within the visas that you will be issued - it translates all speech and text into a language you understand instantaneously.
  • No unhealthy junk food will be available, the country is too healthy for that. Also, the food will all be halal, but there is an extensive range of vegetarian/vegan options for those who insist.
  • Ignore all the cameras and the police presence. They're for the safety of everyone.
  • High-level technology pervades every aspect of society and life here, get used to it.

Lodger City Memorial Stadium
Location: New Lodger City
Capacity: 150,000
Description: The home of Eastfielder football, the stadium was built on the ruins of the old capital of Eastfield Lodge, Lodger City, which was flattened in a double disaster (severe floods from dams bursting and an explosion from an unknown source, killing much of the population of the city and rendering the city useless. Administrative functions were transferred over to Lodgertia, the city began to be rebuilt, and it was decided that this stadium would be one of the monuments erected in place. The inside walls contains inscriptions of the names of all the dead – just under 9 million. The stadium used to play host to the two classic giants of EL football – RGS Athletic and VLC FC - until both had their new stadiums finished; it is now only used for internationals and cup matches.

Parliament Stadium
Location: Lodgertia
Capacity: 80,000
Description: Formerly the second largest stadium in Eastfield Lodge (until King Iqbal II and Vorgan Park were completed), behind the Memorial Stadium in New Lodger City, it was built in the centre of Lodgertia, the capital of Eastfield Lodge, and the Imperial Commonwealth. It was named due to the fact that the Parliament is based just a few hundred metres down the road; in fact, the original stadium was actually joined to the Parliament building, as an area where MPs could watch or even engage in sport with the public, as well as being a designated protest site. However, with Lodgertia becoming more built up, it was decided that the stadium needed to be built up as well. It is home to Lodgertia United and Lodgertia City alongside being temporary hosts of RGS Athletic and VLC FC (when Lodger City was being rebuilt), and in the past has hosted several international matches, including the final of SBCC 27 and a group in both stages of Market Cup 4.

Tavernia Stadium
Location: Tavernia
Capacity: 65,921
Description: Currently the largest stadium outside of Eastfield Lodge itself, Tavernia Stadium sits near the heart of the city of Tavernia, in Westmeadow Tavern, the nation bordering Eastfield Lodge. WC85 will see the stadium's debut when it comes to hosting the Eastfield Lodge National Team, but it is no stranger to WC football though - it was the home ground for Westmeadow Tavern when they had their own international football team in the earlier years of the Imperial Commonwealth. It is also home to the two best teams in Westmeadow Tavern, with FC Tavernia and Tavernia City plying their trade here.

Manager: Alexander Jager (Age: 56)
After a dismal attempt at qualifying in World Cup 101, Eastfield Lodge chose their second international manager in the history of the Imperial Commonwealth, selecting former Pasargan natonal team striker Alexander Jager to try and lead the team back into the heights of the World Cup finals. It's a tall order for any person, but especially so for someone's first ever senior managerial role as well, as Jager left his role as assistant manager of 9 years for one of Pasarga's biggest club sides CA Paulinthal to take up this opportunity to ruin his career make a name for himself. And made a name for himself he did, changing up the Imperial Commonwealth's playstyle in such a way that it immediately paid dividends, as the Lodgers only went and won a trophy by beating Katzeburg to win Cup of Harmony 93. Despite a middling showing in the 51st Copa Rushmori, the ICELFA and the fans are fully behind him as the Lodgers navigate another World Cup qualifying attempt.

Formation: 4-4-2 Diamond
Image

Why change what's been successful? Eastfield Lodge continue to employ the old 4-1-2-1-2 or the 4-4-2 diamond that the Lodgers employed around a hundred years ago when they first entered the multiversal football scene, instituted by Jager went he arrived on the scene. Jager is setting the side up to its strengths, a solid defensive core but a side that also has potent attackers, and with two strikers instead of the single striker the Imperial Commonwealth has had for the last few dozen tournaments, there's more options in the striker department to tweak things, including having one striker drop back to support the midfield as necessary.

Captain: Beatrisa Darragh
Vice-Captains: Zakaria Webber, Boet Caceres, Apollon Halward
Penalties: Enoch Ingersleben, Rafeeda Scripps, Derrell Hangeland
Corners/Free kicks – other: Apollo Halward, Derrell Hangeland, Rafeeda Scripps (long throws)
Free kicks – shooting: Boet Caceres, Apollo Halward, Derrell Hangeland

If there is no line-up, look through my posts and check for current suspensions/injuries, but otherwise it’s fine. Also, if you're RP'ing any part of my match, please use the full name Eastfield Lodge at least once, it helps me find the RP.

NB: As the people of EL are extremely compassionate, and very civilised (despite what you may say about the religion), it would be uncharacteristic for the coaches/players to lose their temper, dive deliberately (jumping out of the way of bad tackles and falling awkwardly doesn't count), to be sent to the stands (if the ref is clearly very biased however...), spit, argue with the ref or fight. Players will also tend to inform the referee about mistakes/clarifications in judgement regarding throw-ins, fouls given but with no contact and goal kicks/corner kicks (plus other bouts of honesty - up to you).

Things you should know about the SRS:

Once upon a time, there was the Imperium of Squornshelous, a militaristic, totalitarian state which took great pride in its football team. Squornshelous entered every World Cup from the 5th edition to the 41st, successfully qualifying all but once, and winning the 31st edition of the tournament. After World Cup 41, however, a civil war erupted which ended with the nation divided in to the democratic Confederacy of Squornshelan Remnant States, and the shrunken but still dangerous Imperium holding onto its island heartland. Both nations disappeared from the international stage for the next 40 World Cup Cycles. The SRS returned to international football for Cycle 81, and was joined by the Imperium during Cycle 84. During Cycle 88, another revolt in the Imperium destabilized the government so much that the nation essentially collapsed, and its constituencies applied for membership in the Confederacy. It was also around this time that Squornshelous/SRS arrived in Atlantian Oceania, having previously competed as an Independent.

Recent International Cycles have been marked, though alas not defined by Squornshelan excellence. Coming from out of nowhere to win World Cup 97 as the 35th-ranked side entering the tournament, the Black-and-Reds opened up a perhaps era-defining rivalry with the Marauders of Valanora. The two sides would meet again and again in high-stakes battles as the Black-and-Reds again took a final on penalties, this time in regional play, then bowed out to the Vanorians in the knockout rounds of World Cup 98. It would be the SRS on top once again at ARC 4, and the Black-and-Reds would ride that success all the way to the final of World Cup 99. With Valanora out in the quarterfinals, it would be different archrival who awaited the SRS. While the SRS had enjoyed a distinct advantage over their oldest enemies during the modern era, the Bulls had historically always found a way to win when it mattered most, and did so again to claim their third World Cup and deny the Black-and-Reds their own.

Entering cycle 100, there were concerns that the SRS risked letting an historically excellent period in the team's history pass by with only one World Cup trophy claimed. Yes, the people who fretted over this were derided as greedy and spoiled, but the point remained. The team had still clearly been good enough to challenge for the ultimate win in cycles 98 and 99, but ran into tough opposition who played better on that given day. With the centennial edition of the competition looming and the Black-and-Reds at the top of the rankings heading into qualifying, the pressure was most definitely on, especially after coming up a bit short of expectation with a third-place finish at ARC 5. The team opened qualifying with a distinct thud, losing to unranked Baman and Juket Liberationists. They managed to hold on to win their group and punch their ticket to Rushmore, but a handful of ugly upset losses saw a drop to third in the rankings heading to the finals and a distinctly vulnerable feeling to the team. This uneasiness was only strengthened as the Black-and-Reds limped their way out of the group stage on 5 points. Still, despite all the pessimism, once you make the knockouts, anything can happen. Madeiros, as he has time and again before, found a way to pull his team together at the right time, and while they seldom looked dominant until nearly the very end of the run, the Black-and-Reds found a way to come out on top time and again, marching all the way back to their second straight final, where this time they were the ones to keep a clean sheet, seeing off Tanirinthia to claim Squornshelous's third World Cup, and second in four cycles. They very nearly claimed another international double at the following Arrosian Regional, taking a perfect 6-0 run with 22 goals for and just 6 against all the way to the final before the bottom fell out of the defense against Banija.

A slightly unfortunate draw for the World Cup 101 knockouts though, saw them facing ancient arch-rivals Audioslavia in the round of thirty-two, and as has always happened, when the chips were down the Bulls found a way to pull it out, and in fact went on to win, making it five straight world cups that the champion has either been the Black-and-Reds or the team that eliminated us. After such an early exit for the top-ranked side, though, there've been changes, starting at the top with Dudu Madeiros. He'll go down in history as a Black-and-Reds legend, two regional and two world cup titles to his name, but after that result it's time for a parting of ways. The incoming bench boss is Ingrid Alexeyev, who cut her teeth taking Poghrill from the regional leagues to the second tier before being tasked with rebuilding Damogran from near relegation to a league champion in record time, proving adept at both player selection and tactical deployment. It'll be all of those skills, as well as her ability to get the best out of her stars that the SCFA will be counting on as they look to a new generation for a return to championship heights. She's kept the job despite a less-than-stellar showing at the ARC that saw the Black-and-Reds post a middling record in the first round and then exit without a knockout victory against Siovanija and Teusland. Obviously, that kind of result won't be considered good enough at the World Cup, and the pressure is very much on for this side to make some serious noise once again.

Tactics
Formation: 4-3-3
Style Mod: +2.5
In attack, Darmen will employ one of two tactics: the first involves the team playing down the flanks while the second is a possession oriented short-range passing style that closely resembles tiki-taka. The later tactic is normally only employed against weaker opponents or when Darmen has a multi-goal lead and involves connecting many passes together to slowly advance the ball towards the opponents 18-yard box. It is not uncommon for 30+ passes to be completed in the sequence, especially against weaker opponents.

Darmen's primary tactic however is a heavy emphasis on flank play, with the wide midfielders (also referred to as flankers in Darmen) being the linchpin of Darmen's attack. Upon gaining possession, Darmen will look to distribute the ball to one of the two wide midfielders as quickly as possible. After receiving the ball, the wide midfielders will look to advance the ball as far down the flanks as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, the forwards and the central midfielders will crash the box, hoping to be on the receiving end of the wide midfielder's cross. The wide midfielder (or sometimes even the fullback) on the opposite flank will linger behind waiting to collect the cross should it overshoot the box. While scoring via headers is the primary goal, a player may also look to score by volleying or half-volleying the ball if they're in open space. Should the first attempt at goal not be collected by the goalkeeper, Darmenis are more than willing to take advantage of the ensuing chaos in the box and poach a goal as well. If the wide midfielder's path forward down the flank is blocked, they are not averse to cutting inside and taking a shot on goal themselves.

Defensively, the defenders have one job... to defend. They rarely venture out of their own half, but if they do it will only be one of the fullbacks (see above). Darmen will employ zonal marking when facing the counter-attack and man marking in all other situations.

Team Roles
Captain: Markus Thomasson
Vice-Captain: Dwayne Loritz
Left Corner: Ferdy Adkins
Right Corner: Kara Falkner
Penalties: Torger Woodward
Free-kicks: Dwayne Loritz

Team Personality
The Darmeni team will never argue with the referee. Indeed, if anything needs to be brought to the attention of the referee it will be done by either the Captain or Vice-Captain in a respectful manner (or to the fourth-official by the Manager). With regards to foul/dirty play, the Darmeni team will not provoke, or retaliate against any opposition player. Darmeni's expect each team to keep to itself and deal with its own trouble makers; any opposition player who attempts to prevent a conflict by pushing or pulling a Darmeni away from the scene will be promptly told off, as that is the duty of the Darmeni Captain.

Nonetheless, Darmen will play in a relatively aggressive manner. Tackles will be conducted in a way which ensures the opponent ends up on the ground, but causing injury will be avoided as much as possible. On set pieces, Darmenis will stand their ground and will not be easily pushed around. However, they will not engage in hugging. In fact, if any opposing player tries to push past them, it is not uncommon for the Darmeni player to feign resistance before simply stepping aside and watching as the opposing player stumbles past on their way to ground. This occasionally backfires however, as the referee may mistake the incidence as having been a foul in the box.

Mike Lindon - Goalkeeping Coach - 52
Sara Humesail - Fitness Coach - 29
Nigel McWinters - Coach - 59
Grant Shippersley - Coach - 38

Stepven Crieps - Physio – 47 (Stepven is pronounced 'Steven', though 'Steven' is adamant his name 'has a “ph” in it and we consistently misspell his name. Make it make sense.'

Note that the starters wear shirts 1 – 11

Bostopia plays a standard 4–4–2 formation, with two central midfielders, one of whom will hold their position in attack, and drop back a little when out of possession. The second central midfielder is more likely to join attacks going forward, running into the gaps between your midfielders and your defenders.

The Bostopian side plays a quick passing game made up largely of shorter passes, believing the best defence is a good offence, and you can't score if we have the ball*. While we favour possession, the team is both intelligent enough and indeed capable of taking calculated risks, playing longer passes or even passes 'over the top' into space for strikers or wingers to run onto if the chance is there.

Our style of play took us to being champions of CAFA13, in a nation which one day woke up and decided that 'Audioslavia' was a perfectly sound name to call themselves, rather than something more sensible like [overwrite host names here] Drawkland and The Holy Empire.

It wasn't a perfectly sound name, unlike [overwrite host names here].

Mertagne's a stupid name too while we're at it.

Anyway. Back to the point. Our tactics won us CAFA13 so any suggestion we should change from those will be looked upon with scorn and derision. They're clearly one of the most coherent parts about this entire thing so it's probably best they stay, yes?

Kits

Home, Away, and Third

Image Image Image

Kits are self explanatory – they are the shirt designs that all ten of our outfield players will wear (and substitutes when entering the field at the appropriate time). They will all wear the same shirt design at the same time. Our goalkeepers will wear a plainly-designed shirt in a flourescent colour which we feel your players will dislike the most. Please inform us in advance of any colours particularly offensive to your nation so we can amend our kits and/or colours accordingly. If we were playing Bettia at home OR away, for example, we would very gladly wear our red kits and probably change our flag to red (what a lark that would be) very especially for the occasion.

For those of you who are triggered by images of football shirts, or living under a dystopian champagne-socialist north-of-the-river Government who is blocking websites hosting images, Bostopia will play in our traditional lime home kit with one white and one blue v-stripe, an away kit consisting of a red shirt with a double white v-stripe, a third kit of a blue shirt with one white and one red v-stripe.

If your team is not designated as the home team, and your colours clash with ours, you will change your kits to an alternative, or be roundly mocked and scorned by everyone starting with us. That we need to say this is nothing short of ridiculous, but our players will of course also wear shorts, socks, shinpads and boots. The shorts and socks will match the primary colour of the shirt. The shorts all have a white stripe on the left and right side, over the seam. The socks will have two white hoops at the top of the sock. If any of the shorts or socks clash, we will change them to something appropriate.

Manager
Onir Savinsk
Savinsk is known for his defensive philosophy, which hinges upon the incredible skill of goalkeeper Just Milhurn. He has stated, “the philosophy is still the same. We don’t let other teams in easy. If they want to score they better be willing to die for it.” We know it’s a long shot but we’re gonna fight til we can’t anymore.

[CENSORED BY THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT]
The Freisan Farf Freitball Francitian hereby presents the Farf roster for the 102nd Edition of the World Cup
Plurinational Entity Name: The Outlandish Lands of Farfadillis
Demonym: Farf (plural Farves)
Team Nickname: La Vherderoja
Honours: World Cup 84, AOCAF Cups 43, 48 and 57, ARC 5

KITS

HOME KIT
[CENSORED BY THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT]
AWAY KIT
[CENSORED BY THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT]

STAFF

MANAGER: Êsekîl dí Völará, Kelssekian-Rulandese
Legend for the Kelssek NT as a player, World Cup finalist for them, the one that got away for the Farf NT, as he was in his prime right when Farfadillis were regularly challenging for the World Cup, and is widely-viewed as the missing piece they needed at the time to go all the way. Destroyed the S-FPL managing Mâ Âlâmëómë (impressive, but surley he could've done it with a less stacked team) and promptly got offered the Big Job. Has had a lukewarm tenure so far.
ASSISTANT MANAGER: Tuskoles Yagaras, Lit™
Head of state of Lithico™. A bit of a micromanager.
CHIEF SCOUT: Zhonong Zhojo Sidike, Lit™
TEAM MEDIC: Xa Turo Kij, Lit™
PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER: Wuya Ya Johan, Lit™

STARTERS

#1 — Squornshelan/Indujan — Siloxtihuk Iwaszkiewicz — aGKa — Age 29 — René Skaé
How do you get a Farf keeper to actually perform well? Well, it's not unprecedented for Farf keepers to be decent, but apparently making them half some other nationality helps a lot. Go figure.

#6 — Faroleran — Abelardo Couce — aLBa — Age 26 — Istria City FC
The Unfarfest. He plays it simple, he plays it smart. He invigorates nobody. dí Vôlará understands that this is good. Few other people in Farfadillis do.

#7 — Ferdullaelan — Alexon Sirujano — aCBa — Age 27 — Crossroads
Out of, well not quite fucking nowhere, but Ferdullaele of all places, we get who might very well be a top three Farf CB of all time. Former back-to-back CL winner, somehow. With a team from Chromatika, no less. He reads the game like nobody else. He plays like a figurative surgeon. His last name means "Surgeon".

#2 — Szoirsian/Banijan — Adrien Manaudou Lajoie — aCBa — Age 31 — Hoima Warriors
Still can't believe he just switched national team like that. The gall. Good defender though.

#4 — Kruviši — Aleksije Ferjančič — aRBa — Age 22 — TSV Marzig
It is actually very unfair that a player can be twenty-two-years-old and be completely comfortable playing in any position in a back four or back three. Maybe you expect the joke here to be that Aleksije is, like most other players, not unfair in this way. Well, he is.

#8 — Rulandese — Míkêl Lôçô — aCMa — Age 24 — Tihon
Potentially generational talent. Already twenty-four. Complete in pretty much every way a center midfielder has to be. The team will live and die by his performances. Dying has been more common as of late.

#5 — Rulandese — Lêyêló Jáánsêlà — aTKa — Age 37 — Rülândéá Kôstä
A legend, no doubt. Aged thirty-seven, he's not substantially[/8] slowing down... somehow, even though he's got to run the most ardently and dangerously out of everyone on the squad. By now suspected to be at least part-Vanorian. Essentially nailed-on to break the record for most caps.

#11 — Faroleran — José Baliñas — aOMa — Age 28 — Vogsphere United
No magic. José gets the ball and then he either makes a good pass or he shoots. And he shoots really well. It's a very simple formula and it's a very effective formula.

#10 — Faroleran — Donato Trigueros — aLWa — Age 25 — La Nueva Avenida
Doesn't follow instructions. Maybe he literally can't. Very stupid. Extremely talented. The kind of winger you never want to face cause you know you're losing at least [i]one
one-on-one against him. A pretty solid goalscorer, too.

#3 — Lit™ — Qehu Daj Zhdihi — aRWa — Age 28 — Raynor City United
Likely the team's most important attacking threat. A winger with great dribbling and speed, but who is actually most outstanding at making defenses really fuck up with his crosses. His crossing is literally just completley off the charts. His decision-making is incredible, and he's likely a sadist: many of his crosses are pinpointed towards the exact places where opposing defenders least want them, for fear of fucking up.

#9 — Indujan — Siro Pouleux — aSTa — Age 19 — Myana
The next big thing. After being ignored for about three years, he's now been unceremoniously thrown into the starting line-up after a big money move to Myana. A goal machine, very precocious.

SUBSTITUTES

#12 — Szoirsian/Banijan — Gyuri Ráczét-Pázász — aGKa — Age 24 — Herzegovina City FC
Also a foreign goalkeeper. Go figure.

#23 — Kelssekian/Rulandese — Mêrrlínô Sôdô — aGKa — Age 28 — Burnaby SC
You guessed it.

#2 —Rulandese — Ügüs Hâx — aCBa — Age 27 — Hondo FC
Pretty good and not a traitor, but it turns out that "good and a traitor" is still better when it comes to getting the nod for the starting eleven.

#13 — Banijan/Rulandese — Tôsgo Gôrs — aLBa — Age 23 — Busukuma Force
Complete passenger. What the hell is he doing here? No, seriously, again!?

#14 — Szoirsian — Ernő Szesfi — aCBa — Age 25 — Tanrısal
Very good at defending. And dodging taxes. Has been having it rough in Pasarga since moving away from Taxhavn... almost exclusively on the latter front. Otherwise a very front-footed, win-the-game kind of defender.

#15 — Faroleran/Banijan — César Arrenquín — aRBa — Age 33 — Hoima Warriors
At thirty-three... César gets the "dearth at right-back" call-up. He can do an okay job. If literally nobody else can.

#16 — Rulandese — Mêlçôr Alzá — aCMa — Age 28 — Mâ Âlâmëómë
A very serviceable if rather unimpressive midfielder. The current Farf squad lacks depth in all of the positions that matter most and Mêlçôr best exemplifies this very fact.

#17 — Rulandese — Çüs Vôl — aCMa — Age 20 — Dí Maozöxê
An extremely versatile, wonderfully skillful and very football-smart midfielder who is unlucky to have Lôçô ahead of him. Borderline generational, potentially. Likely to force his way into the starting eleven one way or another at some point down the line, even at some wildly different position if need be.

#18 — Rulandese/Faroleran — Drî Yraceburu — aCMa — Age 21 — Mâ Âlâmëómë
Extremely exciting young prospect. Very Hawk-esque in mold: very technical, very tall, an all-around menace. But more defensively-oriented, despite being Farf.

#19 — Rulandese — Yóyò Wâmarüh — aTKa — Age 22 — Rülândéá Kôstä
See: Mêlçôr Alzá.

#20 — Faroleran — Aliscadibrís Figuerwá — aTKa — Age 22 — La Nueva Avenida
Exciting young prospect who is still adapting to having made his senior debut for Farfadillis in a World Cup play-off. Not quite there yet mentally, but very talented anyway.

#21 — Ferdullaelan — Rasca Lalá'Rrhueré — aLWa — Age 30 — Ausharmuj Marusi
Almost as fast and tricky as a winger as he is fast and tricky with his vocabulary to racially abuse his teammates.

#22 — Rulandese — Wils Álbárrâó — aLWa — Age 29 — Mâ Âlâmëómë
Serviceable for Mâ Âlamëómë for over a decade now, he brings experience and a long list of injuries that hampered his development. But we've got no depth.

#23 — Rulandese/Faroleran — Federico Ûök — aSTa — Age 20 — Mâ Âlâmëómë
Very fast, very clinical striker who is very unlucky to have an even better prospect ahead of him, who's also one year younger. Nonetheless a very good option off the bench despite his age.
