Format

Every nation will be drawn into eight groups of four. Each nation’s Copa, Sub-20, and Sub-17 teams will play in the same group, and they will play in the same hub against the same opponents on the same matchdays in the group stage. In each tournament, the top two teams per group will advance to a sixteen-team, Qusma-seeded knockout stage.

Ties between teams within the same group will be decided by points, then goal difference, then head-to-head points, then head-to-head goal difference, then wins, then rock-paper-scissors. Ties between teams from different groups will be decided by position within their respective groups, then points, then goal difference, then wins, then rock-paper-scissors.

Venues

You can access a full list of venues here. For the group stages, all three of your teams will play in the same group, and on any given matchday, they will all play the same opponent in the same hub — a collection of three stadia which are close by, which fans can easily travel to and from to support all three of their teams. For example, Qusmo is the first team listed (1) in the Qusmo Group (QUS). Therefore, all matches referencing “QUS1” refer to Qusmo. Qusmo’s opening match of the Copa Rushmori will be against Xinhua (QUS4) at Mastad Qusma. Qusmo’s opening Sub-20 fixture will be against Xinhua at Mastad Qastyra. Qusmo’s opening Sub-17 fixture will be against Xinhua at Mastad Qalijana. These three stadia comprise the Qanz hub.

During the knockout rounds, it is impossible to keep all three teams of the same nation together: the same sixteen nations won’t all advance in all three tournaments, and not all advancing nations will be awarded the same seed or face the same opponents in all three tournaments. As a result, individual matches will be allocated to individual stadia, regardless of hub. As many host nations will be assigned to their own quarter of the bracket as possible, subject to the constraints of the bracket. Which team is assigned to which venue will be announced at the conclusion of the group stage, when each tournament’s entire brackets are released.

Schedule

Cutoff windows begin at 18:00 Pacific time for each matchday. Depending on your local time, this may mean the cutoff window opens the following day. The schedule is the same for all three tournaments.

Draw: Monday 12 January (15:00 Pacific time)
Matchday one: Tuesday 20 January (1 v. 4, 2 v. 3)
Matchday two: Thursday 22 January (4 v. 3, 1 v. 2)
Matchday three: Saturday 24 January (2 v. 4, 3 v. 1)
Octofinals: Monday 26 January (1-1 v. 2R4, 1-8 v. 2R1, 1-4 v. 2R3, 1-3 v. 2R2, 1-2 v. 2L4, 1-7 v. 2L1, 1-3 v. 2L3, 1-6 v. 2L2)
Quarterfinals: Wednesday 28 January (KWR quarterfinal: KWR octofinal 1 winner v. KWR octofinal 2 winner, etc.)
Semifinals: Friday 30 January (western semifinals: KWR and NYK quarterfinal winners; eastern semifinals: SVJ and SFD quarterfinal winners)
Finals: Sunday 1 February (3PPOs: semifinal losers; finals: semifinal winners)

Good luck, and we hope you enjoy the Copa Rushmori!

Tikariot Group and Pavola Group host information

Welcome to Tikariot

Tikariot is a nation in Rushmore of approximately 49 million people, bordering The Kytler Peninsulae to the west, Græntfjall to the north, Weatherdon to the northeast and Nyowani Kitara to the southeast. Its 15 provinces stretch from Nordic and partially tundra climates in the north eastern province of Viljamark to hot and humid Acrassia in the far west and the tropical Cardannon Archipelago, with both majestic mountain ranges and fertile grasslands providing for a big variety of industries. Despite having a thriving economy, Tikariotian businesses are bound by strict environmental laws to preserve the country for generations to come.

Tikariot's by far biggest and most popular sport is football, with the Tikariotian Premier League as its highest level with the national team also enjoying some successes. They won Copa Rushmori 42, 47 and 48 as well as the 6th and 7th editions of the Brevity Cup. In the World Cup, their best results to date were World Cups 9 and 99, where they finished 3rd, together with nine consecutive qualifications at the point of writing.

Some of the venues are pretty big for the youth, but the tournament organizers will hand out free tickets to teenagers and children to attend, so even in the big stadiums, the U-20s and U-17s will play to full stadiums.

Before you arrive

While being a quite liberal country, there are some restrictions on what is allowed to be brought into the country. Hard drugs are forbidden as are any kind of weapons or endangered animals (dead or alive). Alcohol and tobacco can be brought into the country in limited quantities. It is also advised you familiarize yourself with the climate of the region(s) you travel to as the weather and temperatures can be very different.

Main port of entry is Port Rhovanyon International Airport, also the hub for Tikariot Owlways, with Alcassar and Tikariot City the two other major airports.

Getting around

Tikariot is a fairly large country with a very well-developed transportation network. Tikariot Owlways operates several daily flights between all provincial capitals with some provincial subsidiaries taking care of flights to smaller destinations. There also is a high-speed train network connecting the larger cities, mostly powered by solar energy, making them a viable alternative to aviation. Most big cities have very well-developed public transit with both underground and light rail trains, buses, bike rentals and more, encouraging Tikariotians to leave their cars at home. In the more rural areas trains and buses will connect with smaller communities as well.

For accommodations, Tikariot has a variety of options to fit various budgets, from the luxurious Rhovanyon Bay Hotels and Resorts over the more mid-priced Casa Pacifica to the more budget-friendly Hotel73, together with independent hotels, motels and other accommodations.

Wildlife

Large parts of Tikariot are wilderness, be it the large forests of Viljamark, the plains of Taeria or the subtropical forests of the Emerald Coast. There are clearly marked roads and paths in these areas, straying from them could result in encounters with wildlife, friendly or hostile, the worst of which is the dangaroo. Breaking environmental laws is met with strict fines, especially in designated natural park areas.

Cuisine

The Tikariotian cuisine is as diverse as its climate, ranging from hearty Nordic stews and roasts in Viljamark and Xark to the exotic dishes of Acrassia. Street foods are an important staple of Tikariot, with vendors selling all kinds of delicacies off carts or take-out windows. The diversity also has seen an influx of vegetarian and vegan options, so almost any tourist should be able to find something to their liking. You can find a wide variety of independent restaurants as well as chains across all of the nation.

Brief overview of the hubs

Tikariot is furnishing six hubs across the tournament in six distinct parts of the nation, reaching from the far northeast of the Viljamark hub to the Yavash hub in the very far west of Tikariot. Each of the hubs was carefully selected to ensure minimal travel times for teams between them, keeping the logistics lean and contributing to a lower impact on the ecological footprint.

Tikariot Group venues

Viljamark hub

The Viljamark hub, as the name suggests, lies in the Viljamark province on the northeastern border, located on or near the vast Lake Viljan. Fort Viljan is both the capital of the province and location of the main stadium for this hub.

Citadel of the North · Fort Viljan, Tikariot (cap. 40 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Tikariot v. Olastor (matchday one)
Copa: Valladares v. Olastor (matchday three)
Copa: eastern semifinal

Fort Viljan is the capital of the Viljamark in the northeast of Tikariot, bordering Lake Viljan. It is one of the most picturesque towns of Tikariot, with the old town and its cobblestone streets, and its grey granite houses. The biggest tourist attraction of the town is the fort itself, which is built on a peninsula leading into Lake Viljan and is one of Tikariot’s oldest still fully functioning structures. The name of the city translates to "Fort of the Will," which is testament to the strong will (and stubbornness) of Viljan people. It is also known for its big winter festival when Lake Viljan is frozen over.

Home to Fort Viljan Northern FC, the Citadel of the North is the coldest stadium in the TPL, built on an island out in Lake Viljan, just off the coast of Fort Viljan. Exposed to the often frigid winters and cold winds off the lake, the stadium is unique in that it doesn't only have a heated pitch, but also heated seats to make the cold more bearable.

Skarramark Arena · Skarraborg, Tikariot (cap. 42 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Tikariot v. Olastor (matchday one)
Sub-20: Valladares v. Olastor (matchday three)
Sub-20: eastern semifinal

Located about 120 km west of Fort Viljan, Skarraborg is the second-largest city of Viljamark and home to Skarraborg Fotboll. Skarraborg is a picturesque town with plenty of character, with cobblestone streets winding past pastel-coloured wooden houses, cozy cafés, and centuries-old stone churches and temples, forming an interesting contrast to more sleek and modern neighbourhoods around the outskirts of the old town centre.

The Skarramark Arena is a middle-aged stadium that might not feature the amenities of the Citadel of the North, but makes up for it in coziness. It is a very tight stadium with close terraces, making for a rather noisy environment.

The Den · Samojaara, Tikariot (cap. 21 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Tikariot v. Olastor (matchday one)
Sub-17: Valladares v. Olastor (matchday three)

About 15 kilometres east of Skarraborg lies Samojaara, a typical university town, where the Samojaara College of Forestry has been the centre of town life with its historic lecture halls and ivy-clad buildings. Samojaara is characterized by bike-filled streets, bookshops, and late-night cafés, giving the town a youthful, restless energy, fitting the U-17 tournament.

Emerald hub

The Emerald hub likes in the province of Emerald Coast, centred around its capital Carathyr and nearby Varathos.

Jewel of the Coast · Carathyr, Tikariot (cap. 72 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Olastor v. A Variable Number of Knights Who Say Ni (matchday two)
Copa: A Variable Number of Knights Who Say Ni v. Tikariot (matchday three)
Copa: western semifinal

Carathyr is one of the oldest cities in Tikariot and the biggest port of the nation. Long before Tikariot itself became a thing, its location on the southern coast of the Emerald Coast made it a trade hub, connecting different parts of Rushmore. It is also one of the most diverse cities as merchants from across the region and beyond settled here throughout the centuries. The old mercantile district now is a mix of trading companies and historic buildings that are open to the public. It also is the location of Tikariot's largest daily indoor and outdoor market, where you can buy fruits, vegetables, meats, fish and other foodstuffs, as well as general merchandise.

Carathyr's Jewel of the Coast is the home to the Carathyr Emeralds FC and constantly ranks very high in fan surveys for best stadium. It strikes a great balance between tradition and modern design, creating a great atmosphere. The location right on the coast likely also helps with fan perception.

Curse of the Black Pearl · Carathyr, Tikariot (cap. 42 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Olastor v. A Variable Number of Knights Who Say Ni (matchday two)
Sub-20: A Variable Number of Knights Who Say Ni v. Tikariot (matchday three)

Not even halfway across the town of Carathyr lies the Curse of the Black Pearl, which is a very different type of stadium for a very different kind of club. The stadium is likely the most outrageous in at least Tikariot or maybe even further. As they embrace the pirate identity, they have built themselves a stadium that looks like a stranded pirate ship and has become an actual tourist attraction.

Union Square · Varathos, Tikariot (cap. 34 500)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Olastor v. A Variable Number of Knights Who Say Ni (matchday two)
Sub-17: A Variable Number of Knights Who Say Ni v. Tikariot (matchday three)
Sub-17: western semifinal

About 25 kilometres east of Carathyr lies Varathos, which some people consider a glorified suburb of Carathyr these days. It is not picturesque and not quite quaint either, but is a satellite town with some heavy industry sprinkled around the outskirts.

Union Square is also a representation of this, more utilitarian than charming, but it gets the job done. Home to Varathos Union FC, it has some basic amenities, but still is a far cry from the more modern and opulent venues of the tournament.

Tech Triangle hub

The Tech Triangle is a very densely populated area in eastern Paladon, about 350 kilometres east of Avanaroch, consisting of the cities of Parakleion, Vantanoch and Miruan.

Solaria Crown Arena · Parakleion, Tikariot (cap. 69 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Valladares v. A Variable Number of Knights Who Say Ni (matchday one)
Copa: Tikariot v. Valladares (matchday two)

Parakleion is one of Tikariot’s centres for renewable energy research, manufacturing and implementation, making it one of the greenest cities in Tikariot. Thanks to the city being used as testing ground for various renewable energies, the industry supplies the entire city with free electricity. Parakleion itself is dotted with green spaces, ponds and more.

This 52,000-seat masterpiece that is the Solaria Crown Arena embodies the spirit and energy of the Firebirds on and off the pitch. Designed to dazzle both day and night, the arena’s flowing lines and radiant colours make it one of the most striking stadiums in Tikariot. It has an immersive bowl, fan-centric concourses, and being 100% solar powered, has sustainable features, ensuring it’s as functional as it is unforgettable.

Borealis Stadium · Miruan, Tikariot (cap. 56 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Valladares v. A Variable Number of Knights Who Say Ni (matchday one)
Sub-20: Tikariot v. Valladares (matchday two)
Sub-20: western semifinal

Miruan is known as the automotive manufacturing core, with three of the main automobile brands of Tikariot, Voroya, Wamurra and Barclay having their headquarters there. It is the by far smallest of the three cities and has less charm but more of an industrial character. However, the city has done a lot to freshen up the town.

Replacing the old and rather decrepit Mary A. Sharad Park, Borealis Stadium is a brand new, state-of-the-art facility on the outskirts of Miruan, with grand, flowing lines and all the amenities one could hope for in a modern stadium.

Knightsbridge Park · Vantanoch, Tikariot (cap. 51 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Valladares v. A Variable Number of Knights Who Say Ni (matchday one)
Sub-17: Tikariot v. Valladares (matchday two)
Sub-17: eastern semifinal

The industrial base and centre for consumer products, Vantanoch plays a major role in Tikariot’s economy. Unlike many industrial cities, Vantanoch city council has struck deals with the manufacturers of the city to invest into making Vantanoch one of the greenest cities in tikariot with many green spaces.

Knightsbridge Park is a very modern stadium that still maintains a very compact feel. Its black and red exterior continues on inside. True to Vantanoch's status as a tech hub, the stadium is a technical marvel with interactive displays and exhibits for the fans.

Pavola Group venues

Lake Ceydian hub

If you are wondering where the name of Ceydian comes from, it stems from Lake Ceydian, a large, long lake (over 400 km long) half in Balkash, half in Saburnia. Two of the three cities from this hub lie within 30 kilometres of the lakeshore.

The Granary · Morannon, Tikariot (cap. 59 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Pridnestrovia v. Pasarga (matchday one)
Copa: Hispinas v. Pasarga (matchday three)

The capital of the Saburnia province, which is also known as the grain chamber of Tikariot, is dominated by its old fort that throughout Morannon's history has been the site of many sieges, attacks and defences, and to this day is one of the best preserved fortresses in Pavola. What makes the fortress interesting as well is that it is the seat of both the Morannon and Saburnian government. Parts of the fortress is open to the public.

Despite its name, The Granary is a state-of-the-art stadium with a unique façade that resembles the hewn rock of the fortress. The inside offers stunning views of the pitch from the concourse that have cobblestone passages and vendor stands also resemble street market stands.

Blackthorne Park · Thorncliff, Tikariot (cap. 59 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Pridnestrovia v. Pasarga (matchday one)
Sub-20: Hispinas v. Pasarga (matchday three)

Thorncliff lies directly on the shore of Lake Ceydian and is also the eastern end of the Ceydian Ferries network that connects the two provinces. It takes its name from steep stone embankments and old cliffside districts, while the lower-lying areas toward the harbour are dominated by modern glass towers. Thorncliff has both the charm of the historic old town on top of the cliffs and the modern marinas and promenades along the lakeshore.

Blackthorne Park is built at the bottom edge of one of the cliffs, just outside of one of the cliffside districts. It’s a modern build with a facade that has been modelled after the cliffs that surround it, giving it a very natural look. The inside is held in black and red with white seats, giving it a quite strong aesthetic.

Lamarr Field · Ceramadhion, Tikariot (cap. 43 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Pridnestrovia v. Pasarga (matchday one)
Sub-17: Hispinas v. Pasarga (matchday three)

Ceramadhion is nestled into hills, with colourful row houses climbing the gentle hills, with many narrow streets that often are full of music and conversation. Toward the suburbs, the city becomes more modern, though, with a large tech park.

Lamarr Field has seen renovations not long ago, bringing it up to TPL standards. It is, however, still one of the older arenas in the league and fans are sometimes complaining about being a little too far from the action. It offers all basic amenities, however, and is conveniently located at the edge of town, next to public transit lines.

Port Rho hub

Port Rho is the nickname for the Tikariotian capital Port Rhovanyon and the centre for the sixth and final hub, with two stadiums in the capital itself and one on Grahel Island, which is just across the narrow Grahel straight.

Oceanview Park · Port Rhovanyon, Tikariot (cap. 63 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Pasarga v. Saintland (matchday two)
Copa: Saintland v. Pridnestrovia (matchday three)

Port Rhovanyon is the capital of Tikariot and, as the name suggests, is one of Tikariot's large port cities. It is one of the oldest cities in Tikariot with a beautiful old city core around the old port that still exudes the old atmosphere, while the city grew outward, becoming more modern. Nowadays, the juxtaposition between the historic old town and the modern parts of a metropolis creates an interesting effect.

The main national stadium of Tikariot, Oceanview Stadium is a modern, state-of-the-art stadium next to Rhovanyon Bay and is part of Oceanview Sports Park, which unites a series of sports venues on a peninsula in the east of the city. The stadium has won several awards for its innovative design, incorporating trees and bushes into the structure and has been heralded a poster-stadium for sustainability and organic design.

Oldham Lane · Port Rhovanyon, Tikariot (cap. 29 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Pasarga v. Saintland (matchday two)
Sub-20: Saintland v. Pridnestrovia (matchday three)

The second stadium in Port Rhovanyon tells a very different story, home of the Port Rhovanyon Crusaders FC, who once had been in the TPL before getting swallowed whole. It’s in a more working class neighbourhood of Port Rhovanyon, is very stripped down to what a stadium has to have, not what would be great to have. That said, it does have an interesting charm.

Island Arena · Grahel, Tikariot (cap. 18 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Pasarga v. Saintland (matchday two)
Sub-17: Saintland v. Pridnestrovia (matchday three)

Grahel Island is where Port Rhovanyans go when they want to get away from the city. Just a short ferry ride away, it’s an upper scale island that’s not a resort but people actually live. It is also home to the picturesque Island Arena, which is a little treasure nestled away close enough to the beach for stray balls actually hitting Rhovanyon Bay. It’s not big but comfortable, with some amenities one would not necessarily expect from a small stadium like this, but it has great charm.

Yavash hub

The westernmost hub is the Yavash hub, consisting of three cities at the very northern end of the Gulf of Yavash, with Anhedron (in Acrassia), Pedipan and Seycardhu (both in Balkash) only 50 kilometres from each other.

Pineridge Park · Anhedron, Tikariot (cap. 44 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Hispinas v. Saintland (matchday one)
Copa: Pridnestrovia v. Hispinas (matchday two)

Anhedron’s team, Anhedron Wanderers FC, has once been a staple of the TPL, but have seriously fallen off, dropping all the way into the fourth tier by now. The city, located close to the border of Balkash, is an old market town that once was an important stop on trade routes connecting Acrassia and the Kytler Peninsulae with the centre and east of Tikariot. To this day, it is picturesque, with a well-preserved old trading district with old inns that have been converted to hotels and bed & breakfasts that are attracting tourists for the atmosphere.

Pineridge Park is a beautiful stadium atop a plateau inside the city, which is surrounded by a small pine forest, overlooking the city and, further out, the gulf. Both the outside and inside has a lot of wooden features, giving the stadium a very homey and cozy character.

Sobodra Stadium · Seycardhu, Tikariot (cap. 43 800)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Hispinas v. Saintland (matchday one)
Sub-20: Pridnestrovia v. Hispinas (matchday two)

Seycardhu is one of Balkash’s Liquor Circle cities. What is the Liquor Circle? A group of cities across the province of Balkash that are considered among the prime of liquor-producing cities, from whiskey and gin to brandy, cognac and more. That said, Seycardhu is known for its strict restrictions on modern buildings, so even if you want to build a new building, it has to fit in aesthetically with the rest.

Sobodra Stadium is no different, as its facade looks like it’s from 150 years ago, with wood, brick, the works. The inside combines a similar vibe with modern amenities, which has made the stadium a must for any groundhoppers coming to Tikariot.

Parapark · Pedipan, Tikariot (cap. 21 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Hispinas v. Saintland (matchday one)
Sub-17: Pridnestrovia v. Hispinas (matchday two)

Pedipan is the smallest city of all venues in Tikariot, close to the Acrassian border, and it’s kind of known to be calm, kind of sleepy, making it a tourist destination for anybody who really is done with civilization. Okay, this reads as if you step back into the Stone Age, not that bad, but the city prides itself on things being hand made, grounded and low-tech.

Parapark is likely the most modern thing that has ever happened to Pedipan, with flowing lines, solar panels, climate control and the likes, so if you like paradoxes, Pedipan is great for you!

Qusmo Group and Xandrian Sea Group host information

Qusmo

Overview

Welcome to Qusmo, one of eight host nations for Copa Rushmori 50, Campeonato Rushmori Juvenil XVIII Sub-20, and Campeonato Rushmori Juvenil XVIII Sub-17 — and the home of all three tournaments’ finals. Qusmo has previously hosted Copa Rushmori XXXII, World Cup 98, and World Cup 100. At these three tournaments, it will host the Qusmo group in Qanz, Polan, and Atlem, and it will host the Xandrian Sea group in Kolle, Vlyv, Tracam, and Wexe. After the group stages conclude, it will host the tournaments’ third-place playoffs in Atlem and Polan, and it will host all three tournaments’ finals in Qanz. There’s so much to do and explore in Qusmo, and we hope you enjoy your time here.

Geography

Qusmo is a nation encompassing the whole of a volcanic island within the Xandrian Sea, off the western Pavolan coast of the region of Rushmore. The volcano that created the landmass, Gor Qusma, has long been extinct and poses no threat to visitors or inhabitants today. Found in the Rushmori subregion of Pavola, the nation can be found roughly equidistantly between Nangang, the capital of Yuezhou, and Zube, the capital of the Kytler Peninsulae, to the southwest and northeast, respectively. The interior of the nation is very mountainous, as Gor Qusma dominates the geography of the entire country. Qanz, the capital, is nearly three kilometres, or nearly two miles, above sea level. However, many of Qusmo’s other major cities, including the World Cup host city of Atlem and the Qualifying Playoff host city of Polan, are all found at or around sea level on the nation’s coast.

Culture

The most distinctive feature of Qusma culture to many outsiders is its unique relationship to gender. The vast majority of Qusmi’y are androgynous and nonbinary. Qusmo has long prided itself on its nonbinary gender system, as many feel it defines the nation as inherently more just than the gendered societies which populate much of the rest of the Multiverse. Their typical argument is that those gendered societies tend to take on at least some degree of a patriarchal or matriarchal character at the expense of those in its population who do not belong to the privileged gender. More recently, an epicene radicalism movement has emerged which itself places nonbinary individuals atop a hierarchy defined by what may seem to much of the rest of the Multiverse like startlingly traditional gender roles: men as the physical, women as the emotional, epicenes as the rational. For the moment, this movement remains somewhat fringe.

Another highly visible aspect of Qusma culture is names. Traditional Qusma names include a compound surname, usually taking one name from each parent in two-parent households, followed by a given name. There is an extremely short and strict list of names which are considered traditionally Qusma. Family names include a pair of five-letter units, on either side of a hyphen, and given names are three letters long. Unlike the name order systems of many other nations, given names are preceded by family names, as is the case in Qusmo’s neighbor of Yuezhou. However, nontraditional names and gender identities have emerged in recent years in particular, as some Qusma expatriates who fled the country during the Reforms have started families with non-Qusmi’y or otherwise been exposed to foreign culture, and the children of these families are much likelier to adopt a binary gender identity or nontraditional name.

Finally, Qusma demonyms can be confusing to outsiders. Qusmo is the noun for the state, the nation, and the landmass. Qusmi is the noun for a person from Qusmo. Qusmi’y is the plural noun for people from Qusmo. Qusma is the adjective for something of or from Qusmo. Qusmu is the language native to Qusmo. Many Qusmi’y have relaxed attitudes towards demonym mishaps, but it remains a potential point of offense for some traditionalists, including those in Qusmo’s government.

Politics

Eighteen cycles ago, a fractious debate in Qusmo over the Common Rushmori Community, immigration, foreignness, and an essential Qusma national character precipitated one of the most dramatic events in the nation’s recent history. The pro-CRC camp was roiled by a massive bribery scandal which scattered the pro-CRC vote among several rival parties, allowing the anti-CRC People’s Alliance to ease to a commanding election majority. Anti-Alliance protests were designated by the Qusmi Bez, Drolx-Dalox Aka, to be threats to national security. Martial law was declared during World Cup 83. It was one of the darkest moments in the nation’s history. Supporters of Drolx-Dalox refer to it and the ensuing sweeping changes to Qusma government as the Reforms. Their opponents call it the Collapse.

Qusmo is still ruled by Drolx-Dalox Aka. Their title is Qusmi Bez, which historically had been akin to the role of a prime minister in many other countries before the Reforms, but which now designates Drolx-Dalox as a unitary executive. Qusmi Bez translates literally as “first Qusmi.” Elections have resumed recently, but Drolx-Dalox and the Alliance have neutered any real opposition by banning many dissident political parties and politicians as threats to the Qusma nation.

Drolx-Dalox campaigns as a populist and governs in a competitive authoritarian system. They cultivate popularity as a defender of traditional Qusma values, society, and culture against a wider world that they cast as hostile to Qusmi’y, nonbinary people, and the epicene writ large. Opponents, then, are portrayed in state-run media as willing and existential threats to the Qusma nation itself. Open dissent is rare, though the government has consolidated enough support to no longer have to rely on violence.

Several competing strands of thought dominate the ruling party’s views on gender. One holds that it simply does not exist at all, and that Qusmo exists as one of the Multiverse’s last true bastions of this reality. This is more traditional in Qusma politics. A new, emerging theory holds that epicenity does exist as a separate gender category apart from masculinity and femininity, but that it is superior in some way to the binary genders. Either way, the ruling party’s views are dim on those subscribing to a binary gender, which has been a contributing factor to an erosion of minority rights since the Reforms.

Transportation

You’ll likely want to take a flight to get to Qusmo. Qanz is Qusmo’s political, economic, geographic, and population hub, and unsurprisingly, it’s the country’s transportation hub, too, with the most flights and routes offered of any airport in Qusmo. However, other host cities are large enough to have sizable airports themselves — particularly Polan, Atlem, and Tracam — and you may fly into one of those cities directly if it better suits your team’s itinerary. Once in Qusmo, you’ll find a domestic air transport industry more than willing to transport supporters from any host city to any other.

Alternatively, you can reach Qusmo by ferry. Several longstanding international ferry routes connect Qusmo to its neighbors around the Xandrian Sea, including Tracam to Jiangdong, Yuezhou; Polan to Alaer, Kytler Peninsulae; and Vlyv to Alcassar, Tikariot. Additionally, some private cruise line operators have taken it upon themselves to introduce special Copa Rushmori routes, picking up supporters from ports across Rushmore and taking them to host cities on Qusmo’s Xandrian Sea coast in time for the start of the three tournaments. However, as it is not a coastal city, Qanz is conspicuously absent as a destination for these ocean-going vessels.

When in Qusmo, it’s easy to get around from place to place via urban or intercity rail. All seven Qusma host cities have urban rail transit systems — and predominantly rapid transit systems — which connect their host stadia to other areas across that city, including tourist areas and other points of interest. Qusmo’s intercity rail network is based around a hub, spoke, and wheel plan, with Qanz the hub, routes to various major coastal cities the spokes, and rail lines encircling the island the wheel. You can find high-speed rail routes from Qanz to Atlem, Polan, Kolle, and Tracam, and you can transfer in those transit hubs to regional lines that take you to plenty of smaller cities in that area, or alternatively to Kolejz Serana, the high-speed line which encircles the whole island and stops at all major coastal cities, with a beautiful view of the Xandrian Sea to match.

Finally, road transport is another option, whether via city, intercity, or charter buses, or via private vehicles. That said, major cities will experience major traffic, and the route into and out of Qanz may be difficult for those who are not used to driving on mountain roads, so utilizing air or rail transportation may be easier and more convenient, especially for those intending to visit only the tournament host cities.

Qanz hub

Qanz is not just Qusmo’s largest city and capital. It is the political, economic, geographic, historic, cultural, and mythological heart of the nation and of its people. Qanz proper was originally constructed on an island in the caldera lake of a massive, extinct supervolcano called Gor Qusma. Qusmi’y from all across the country take immense pride in their legacy as a people which emerged from the Caldera, but many outside the capital also wish that Qanz didn’t dominate the nation’s culture and the priorities of its governance.

Mastad Qusma · Qanz, Qusmo (cap. 80 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Qusmo v. Xinhua (matchday one)
Copa: Darmen v. Xinhua (matchday three)
Sub-20: final
Copa: final

Mastad Qusma can be translated as the Stadium of the Nation. In keeping with the spirit of Qanz itself, Mastad Qusma is the largest and most historic stadium in the country, and it is the home of its national team. No club team is a tenant of the stadium, to help make it a truly neutral, unifying ground for the whole nation. The stadium, therefore, relies primarily on concerts and other special events to generate revenue when not hosting national team matches or domestic finals.

Mastad Qusma has previously hosted the finals of all Fuzpon Qusma and some Federation of the Single Sun domestic cups, as well as the finals of UICA Youth Cup 24, UICA Series B Champions’ Cup 68, FSS Copa del Ganso 2, CRF Copa de Campeones 45, and CRF Copa Rushmori XXXII. It hosted five matches at World Cup 98, including Qusmo’s opening match, one of the hexadecifinals, and the Crpostran–Edsmontik semifinal, and it hosted another four matches at World Cup 100.

It has been outfitted with plenty of luxury suites and amenities for celebrities, VIPs, and deep-pocketed individuals as a result of all these high-profile events. However, at nearly 3000 metres above sea level, Qanz’s precipitous altitude may have a noticeable effect on the ball’s flight or on players’ lungs.

Mastad Qastyra · Qanz, Qusmo (cap. 74 758)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Qusmo v. Xinhua (matchday one)
Sub-20: Darmen v. Xinhua (matchday three)
Sub-17: final

KF Qastyr is the biggest club in Qusmo, and their home is the biggest club stadium in Qusmo. The stadium has constantly been overlooked for major events in favor of nearby Mastad Qusma, but Mastad Qastyra is the second-largest stadium the country has to offer, and it is World Cup-caliber, even if it has yet to actually stage any matches for that tournament. It did host matches for Copa Rushmori XXXII, including a semifinal, and it is more than ready to take on the challenge of a pair of youth tournaments. Of the forty-eight venues hosting one or both Juvenils, but not the Copa, its capacity is more than 15 000 greater than the next-largest venue.

Mastad Qalijana · Qanz, Qusmo (cap. 22 491)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Qusmo v. Xinhua (matchday one)
Sub-17: Darmen v. Xinhua (matchday three)

KF Qalijan is probably Qanz’s second team. It doesn’t actually really matter all that much, since the city is so utterly dominated by Qastyr, as a singular club. The need for a third venue in Qanz, however, unexpectedly puts the spotlight on Qalijan, and its fans plan to do their utmost to ensure that their moment in the sun is a success. Mastad Qalijan has never hosted an international fixture of any kind before, and given how vastly overshadowed it is by the two largest stadia in Qusmo both located in the same city, it may not do so again. Do not expect a particularly new, high-tech, or expensive stadium. Do expect a crowd of passionate, friendly locals, willing to provide crowds at even Sub-17 fixtures, just to bask in their small club’s moment.

Atlem hub

Atlem is Qusmo’s third-largest city, and it is currently undergoing a metamorphosis. Long a working-class city built by the city’s dockyards, a burgeoning tech sector has been attracted to Atlem, seeking a city with a large population and both cheap land and labor. The city has been gentrifying as a result, with long-tenured, deep-rooted members of local communities being priced out by new-money newcomers. The government accepts this as a necessary cost of growth — and, privately, a way to make powerful, monied allies.

Mastad Atlova · Atlem, Qusmo (cap. 61 125)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Xinhua v. Bonusia (matchday two)
Copa: Bonusia v. Qusmo (matchday three)
Sub-17: third-place playoff

Mastad Atlova was newly built for World Cup 98, where it hosted five matches, including a hexadecifinal and a quarterfinal, and it was also used for World Cup 100, where it hosted another five fixtures. The home of KF Atlov — the winners of Qusmo’s only-ever international trophy (UICA Youth Cup 25), and the reigning champions of Qusmo and grand champions of the Federation of the Single Sun — this venue is designed to maximize revenue in every way possible. The gleaming stadium can host football, gridiron, concerts, and anything else for which promoters can sell tickets. The stadium has sold corporate naming rights to uni·q, a sportswear and kit design brand led by Ibilx-Irtix Ono.

Mastad Atlanta · Atlem, Qusmo (cap. 56 431)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Xinhua v. Bonusia (matchday two)
Sub-20: Bonusia v. Qusmo (matchday three)
Sub-20: third-place playoff

KF Atlant was formerly Atlem’s club, without much of any real competition. Now, the nouveau riche of Atlov have surpassed them in the standings, as they chase trophies and international success, but Atlant are still battling and hanging on to a spot in the top flight. It’s an allegory for the city. Atlant represents the hardscrabble, the callused, the ones who get things done. Their stadium isn’t nearly as new, or as modern, or as revenue-generating as their rivals Atlov’s, but at Mastad Atlanta, the beers are cheap, the people are proud, and the stands are loud. What more could you ask for?

Mastad Atlarka · Atlem, Qusmo (cap. 15 074)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Xinhua v. Bonusia (matchday two)
Sub-17: Bonusia v. Qusmo (matchday three)

Polan hub

Polan is Qusmo’s second city, in population and Qusma popular culture. Located on a peninsula jutting into the nation’s northeastern coast, Polan has a sense of cosmopolitanism from its geographic and trade connections to places like the Kytler Peninsulae and Tikariot. Polan is a decidedly mixed-class city, with dockworkers and bankers alike shaping the city’s identity. The local area is also known for the white eagle, a rare raptor native to northeastern Qusmo, which has become a symbol of the greater Polan area.

Mastad Poldanza · Polan, Qusmo (cap. 60 333)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Darmen v. Bonusia (matchday one)
Copa: Qusmo v. Darmen (matchday two)
Copa: third-place playoff

Mastad Poldanz is home to KF Poldanz, the three-time Puk Zala champions in Qusmo’s Pug Qusmyra era and its inaugural Federation Shield champion in the newest era of Qusma domestic football. It hosted a Copa Rushmori XXXII semifinal and five World Cup 98 matches, including a hexadecifinal and an octofinal. Still, Poldanz hasn’t made many major renovations to its stadium during the recent wave of tournaments hosted in Qusmo. That has saved the club a bit of money, at the expense of amenities for general match-going fans, which now tend to be a bit dated.

Mastad Poljaka · Polan, Qusmo (cap. 29 619)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Darmen v. Bonusia (matchday one)
Sub-20: Qusmo v. Darmen (matchday two)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Darmen v. Bonusia (matchday one)
Sub-17: Qusmo v. Darmen (matchday two)

Xandrian Sea Group venues

Veq hub

Veq simply means south in Qusmu, rather than referring to a particular city. Tracam is a city of sorrow. A city with perhaps the nation’s vibrant, most assertive youth culture before the Reforms hosted mass demonstrations opposing the government and military in the early days. Resistance was crushed with unflinching brutality. However, it has not forgotten the young people who were killed a generation ago, even if the state would like it to. Meanwhile, Wexe is a major nearby town, also located on Qusmo’s southern coast, which is contributing a stadium for the Sub-17 tournament.

Mastad Trewa · Tracam, Qusmo (cap. 52 022)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Concordia v. Zenic (matchday one)
Copa: The Pollo v. Zenic (matchday three)

Mastad Trewa is the home of KF Trew, recent Cup of Qusmo champions who currently find themselves in the second-tier League of the Silver Moon. It is also the club whose Pug Qusmyra-era roster once included Rilan-Jerat Nev, who became a martyr for Qusma democrats after being killed in the first major violent confrontation between the military and demonstrators under martial law. Despite definite unease between locals and police, the stadium hosted three matches at World Cup 98 without incident, and Qusmo’s government will do all it must to ensure those still-simmering tensions do not boil over while the eyes of the world are upon it.

Mastad Trosoca · Tracam, Qusmo (cap. 44 851)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Concordia v. Zenic (matchday one)
Sub-20: The Pollo v. Zenic (matchday three)

Mastad Werzina · Wexe, Qusmo (cap. 31 315)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Concordia v. Zenic (matchday one)
Sub-17: The Pollo v. Zenic (matchday three)

Vlyv hub

Vlyv is a city known for being more laid-back than some of its larger peers. A coral reef ecosystem can be found not too far away from Vlyv's beaches, which has allowed a diverse array of marine life and seabirds to thrive. Vlyv's proximity and its size has made it a hub for nature resorts and ecotourism in the area.

Mastad Vlonza · Vlyv, Qusmo (cap. 35 382)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Zenic v. Kordavia (matchday two)
Copa: Kordavia v. Concordia (matchday three)

Of the six Qusma stadia which will host Copa Rushmori 50, only Mastad Vlonza is not a former World Cup venue. As a matter of fact, although Vlyv did host fixtures in Copa Rushmori XXXII, Mastad Vlonza had not yet been built, so this is the first time the stadium will host an international tournament. The stadium is the home of KF Vlonz, which isn’t even a first-tier club, overshadowed by city rivals Voraxan, who traditionally were the smaller club yet have consistently stayed a league above Vlonz since the foundation of the League of the Single Sun. All of that is to say: this is the greatest event Vlyv football has seen for quite some time, and these are by far the biggest matches Mastad Vlonza will have seen since it opened. The venue may seem quaint compared to some others in the tournament — Qusmo’s smallest Copa Rushmori venue, with a capacity about 10 000 smaller than its next-smallest and less than half of even one of its Juvenil venues — but the locals in Vlyv will do their best to make the experience unforgettable.

Mastad Voraxana · Vlyv, Qusmo (cap. 30 263)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Zenic v. Kordavia (matchday two)
Sub-20: Kordavia v. Concordia (matchday three)

Mastad Vloska · Vlyv, Qusmo (cap. 27 388)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Zenic v. Kordavia (matchday two)
Sub-17: Kordavia v. Concordia (matchday three)

Kolle hub

Kolle is situated near the delta of Qusmo’s most economically important river, the Rux. As such, it was historically a significant centre of domestic trade, as the place where goods from Qusma and foreign ports were transferred from sea vessels to river vessels bound for Qanz and other cities within the watershed. It is also Qusmo’s largest city on its southern coast, and it is therefore an important port of trade with nations to Qusmo’s south on the Xandrian or Great Continental Seas. Kolle’s reputation for great seafood has also recently helped transform it into a burgeoning gastronomic hub.

Mastad Koflira · Kolle, Qusmo (cap. 45 241)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: The Pollo v. Kordavia (matchday one)
Copa: Concordia v. The Pollo (matchday two)

Home to the League of the Single Sun’s KF Koflir, Mastad Koflira is an intimate environment among Qusmo’s tranche of Copa Rushmori venues. The stadium was originally built for Copa Rushmori XXXII and underwent extensive renovations ahead of hosting four matches at World Cup 98, including a hexadecifinal, with atmosphere at the forefront. Mastad Koflira’s rows of seats are sloped steeply to help trap crowd noise within the venue and to make each fan feel as if they’re sitting on top of the action. The hope is that, despite not being quite as large as some other stadia in this tournament, the energy of Mastad Koflira could be just as exciting.

Mastad Kozona · Kolle, Qusmo (cap. 11 394)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: The Pollo v. Kordavia (matchday one)
Sub-20: Concordia v. The Pollo (matchday two)

Mastad Kobata · Kolle, Qusmo (cap. 10 759)

Assigned fixtures:

Sanford Group host information

Sanford

Overview

Sanford is a nation of about 650 000 people located in central Pavola, on the Rushmori mainland. Full of small towns and farmland, the population density hovers somewhere around twenty people per square mile, although some larger towns break the mold. For instance, over forty percent of the nation’s population lives in the Sanford Falls metro area in the southeastern part of the country alone. The nation’s capital is Elk Plains, chosen mostly for its central location at a time when traversing long distances was very difficult. Sanford’s economy is largely agricultural, with corn and soybeans two particular staples. The vast majority of residents speak Terranean, and most are descendants of white settlers from other countries.

Sanford’s topography is dominated by rolling prairie and low hills, which were flattened by glacial activity many millennia ago — its highest and lowest points stand at 2 230 and 968 feet, respectively, with only 1 262 feet of elevation change between the two. The majority of the nation can be said to have a hot-summer (Dfa) or warm-summer (Dfb) humid continental climate, with most summers featuring some days above 100°F and most winters featuring some days under 0°F. Blizzards are not uncommon in the winter, and severe thunderstorms — some producing tornadoes — are not uncommon in the summer. Spring and fall are quite temperate, but quite short. Over such a flat expanse, and with such broad temperature variations over the seasons, the wind is a defining geographical trait of the nation year-round.

Sanford has previously hosted Campeonato Rushmori Juvenil XV Sub-20. It will host the Sanford group, a pair of octofinals, and a quarterfinal for each of Copa Rushmori 50, Campeonato Rushmori Juvenil XVIII Sub-20, and Campeonato Rushmori Juvenil XVIII Sub-17. Sanford’s seven host cities for these three tournaments are Sanford Falls (population 192 000), Derry (population 23 000), and Red Stream (population 12 000) for the Copa; Sanford Falls, Granite City (population 28 000), and McGovern (population 16 000) for the Sub-20; and Sanford Falls, Redlin (population 23 000), and Lewiston (population 15 000) for the Sub-17.

Transportation

To get to Sanford, you will likely fly into Sanford Falls International Airport. Sanford Falls International is equipped with seven departure and arrival gates, one airside restaurant, one landside food court with two restaurants, and one landside gift shop. Other airports exist in cities like Granite City, Redlin, and Elk Plains, but about ninety percent of the nation’s air traffic goes through Sanford Falls, which is the only airport in the country to serve more than two destinations — or any destinations at all outside the subregion of Pavola, for that matter.

There are currently no regularly-scheduled domestic air routes in Sanford, with all scheduled service being international in nature. Despite its historical importance, and continued cultural relevance, passenger rail service also no longer exists in Sanford, either domestic or international.

Public transport options in the Sanford Falls metro include several bus routes, on-demand van service, and paratransit, although both bus and van service is limited on Saturdays and unavailable on Sundays. Outside Sanford Falls, no other host city at these three tournaments offer public transit. Private intercity bus lines may suit the needs of international visitors for these tournaments, but visiting supporters may have to rely on shuttles to get to the stadium or their hotel. Federations may also choose to sponsor bus service for their own supporters for the duration of the tournament.

Otherwise, you will likely be expected to drive. Rental cars are available for pickup, among other places, at Sanford Falls International Airport. Major highways generally have speed limits of eighty miles per hour in rural areas, though traffic generally moves faster. Traffic is generally light and easy to navigate, and highway stoppages are practically unheard of in Sanford. Pedestrianism is fairly rare in most places in Sanford, but pedestrian deaths are not uncommon.

Accomodations

For a variety of reasons, most fans who travel to Sanford for the group stages will likely stay in the Sanford Falls metro. It is Sanford’s hub for international air travel. The city offers some public transit options, unlike other host cities. It is by far the largest city and metro area in the nation, meaning it has hotel and restaurant capacity exceeding other cities. Additionally, it has an entire hub to itself, while no other Sanfordan city boasts more than one venue at these three tournaments.

Although certainly southeastern in the context of Sanford as a whole, it is relatively centrally located to the other venues being used for these three tournaments. Sanford Falls is only about an hour’s drive away from Derry and Red Stream, the other two Copa Rushmori venues in the nation. The only other host city more than about an hour and a half away in driving distance is Granite City, a Sub-20 venue far removed from any other host city.

If you choose to stay in Sanford, whether in the Sanford Falls metro or anywhere else, please be respectful of local laws and customs. Use of most drugs, including marijuana, is prohibited in Sanford. Tobacco is legal for those above the age of eighteen, and alcohol is legal for those above the age of twenty-one. Residents may purchase, open-carry, or conceal-carry handguns or long guns, with no registration, licensing, or background checks required, although sports venues generally prohibit weapons on their premises.

Sanford Falls hub

Sanford Falls’s population of about 192 000 may not sound very impressive on the surface, but about thirty percent of the nation’s population lives within its city limits, and more live in suburbs or the rural periphery. Sanford Falls’s population is sixty percent greater than the population of the other six Sanfordan host cities for these tournaments combined. Indeed, Sanford Falls has a population equal to that of the next seventeen cities in Sanford combined. It is the dominant population, economic, and cultural hub of Sanford.

It is a ten-minute drive from Overland Stadium to either Tommy Sanford PREMIER Stadium or Hamlin Woods Field, or alternatively a forty-five-minute bus trip. It is a two-minute drive, or alternatively a ten-minute walk, from the Tommy Sanford PREMIER Stadium to Hamlin Woods Field, which are separated by a single street. Sanford Falls’s Tommy Sanford PREMIER Stadium is about an hour’s drive south of Derry’s Checkerboard, the Northern Plains hub’s Copa venue, and about an hour’s drive north of Red Stream’s ValleyDome, the Mnisose River hub’s Copa venue.

Tommy Sanford PREMIER Stadium · Sanford Falls, Sanford (cap. 33 700)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Sanford v. Eastfield Lodge (matchday one)
Copa: Airannia v. Eastfield Lodge (matchday three)
Copa: Sanford octofinal one
Copa: Sanford quarterfinal

Sanford Falls is not only the largest city in the nation, but as large as the next seventeen largest towns put together. It has, perhaps understandably, developed into the nation's hub for the financial sector, health care, and media and entertainment — and has also incurred the ire of those suspicious of a comparatively quite urban center in a largely rural nation. If you’re in town, see the Falls that are the city’s namesake.

The Tommy Sanford PREMIER Stadium is a one-of-a-kind venue in Sanford. It’s the nation’s largest venue, with a capacity more than that of the country’s next two largest stadia combined, enough to fit five percent of the country’s population. This venue’s capacity is larger than the population of any city in Sanford aside from the city it’s in. This modern venue is the only retractable-roof stadium in Sanford and is one of the newest in the country. It is Sanford’s most expensive sports venue for fans to attend, boasting the nation’s only true luxury seating. It has hosted the Copa de Campeones 53, Copa Pavola 3, and Campeonato Rushmori Juvenil XV Sub-20 finals. Still, it has sat empty for years since the downfall of the Sanford PREMIER League, with no tenant able to afford the exorbitant size and cost of rent, and the years of disuse have led to rapid and visible aging of the stadium. Renovations ahead of the Copa Rushmori have finally fixed the siding and other trouble spots, and the stadium is ready to be one of just three in Rushmore to host four fixtures for Copa Rushmori 50.

Overland Stadium · Sanford Falls, Sanford (cap. 6 500)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Sanford v. Eastfield Lodge (matchday one)
Sub-20: Airannia v. Eastfield Lodge (matchday three)
Sub-20: Sanford octofinal two
Sub-20: Sanford quarterfinal

If you’re in town, see the Falls that are the city’s namesake.

Overland Stadium is a fairly new stadium constructed as the new home of Martin Luther, which had previously been one of multiple tenants at Hamlin Woods Field. The stadium is smaller, but it much newer with better facilities. The vast majority of seating is concentrated on the western side of the stadium, which is fine for league matches, though it may be imbalanced for neutral-site international fixtures. Fans can utilize grass berms behind both goals to spread out and enjoy matches comfortably, if they would prefer.

Hamlin Woods Field · Sanford Falls, Sanford (cap. 10 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Sanford v. Eastfield Lodge (matchday one)
Sub-17: Airannia v. Eastfield Lodge (matchday three)
Sub-17: Sanford octofinal one

If you’re in town, see the Falls that are the city’s namesake.

Although it no longer hosts a professional club team, Hamlin Woods Field is one of Sanford’s oldest and most historic venues. The stadium currently hosts the city’s four public high schools, and it is Sanford’s spiritual home for track and field. It is also the former home of League of the Single Sun club Martin Luther, and it hosted the nation’s first-ever professional football match. One of only three football stadia in the nation with a capacity of ten thousand or more, it may not have the facilities of some other venues, but it will have the atmosphere.

Northern Plains hub

The Plains define Sanford. The glaciers that carved Sanford out tens of thousands of years ago not only levelled out the country’s topography, allowing the wind even today to strengthen unabated without mountains to break them up, but also deposited many of the vital nutrients that make the land so fertile for farming today, allowing Sanford’s economy and way of life to develop and thrive. Sanford’s comparative highlands and hills are generally found near waterways, and particularly the Mnisose River, so these three cities north and west of Sanford Falls are particular examples of the level topography of the country.

It is about a two-hour drive northwest from the Checkerboard to Citizens Bank Field, with Redlin a stop directly on the route, an hour north of Derry and a little more than that east-southeast of Granite City. Derry is about one hour north of Sanford Falls, home of all three stadia in the Sanford Falls hub, and any route from Derry to a Mnisose River hub runs through Sanford Falls, as well. Derry is about a two-hour drive north of Red Stream, that third hub’s Copa host city.

Copa: Eastfield Lodge v. Igratia (matchday two)
Copa: Igratia v. Sanford (matchday three)
Copa: Sanford octofinal two

Derry is a city known for its museum culture and its dairy cultures. The Sanford Art Museum appeals to adults, the Children's Museum of Sanford is a hit with kids, and of course, the research center known as the Dairy Lab pursues delicious agricultural innovation. Cookies and cream ice cream was invented here.

The home of Railyards, one of Sanford’s most historic and successful clubs, the Checkerboard is more than double the size of the next-largest stadium of any Sanfordan professional football club. The venue’s name is more literal than one might at first imagine, as well: for domestic league matches, not only are the stadium’s seats arranged in a blue and yellow checkerboard pattern, but the penalty box and center circle are painted in a blue and yellow checkerboard pattern as well. The pitch will be free of any nonstandard paint during the Copa Rushmori, however.

Citizens Bank Field · Granite City, Sanford (cap. 6 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Eastfield Lodge v. Igratia (matchday two)
Sub-20: Igratia v. Sanford (matchday three)
Sub-17: Sanford octofinal two

Granite City is Sanford's second-largest city. It is a regional hub, as by far the largest city in the nation's north and west, and is also a national hub for the arts and entertainment: the Sanford Film Festival is held in town every year, the Granite City Community Theatre is long-standing and vibrant, and Storybook Castle is the area's best-loved amusement park.

Also known by the non-sponsored name of Roncalli Field, Citizens Bank Field is one of Sanford’s newest stadia, opening to coincide with the foundation of the Sanford PREMIER League. It hosts Northern, a club in the League of the Single Sun. The venue places a priority on individualized fan experiences, with one parking lot dedicated for tailgaters and another for bouncy castles, and sections of seating including general admission, reserved, club level, loge level, suite level, and party deck seating.

Redlin Stadium · Redlin, Sanford (cap. 5 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Eastfield Lodge v. Igratia (matchday two)
Sub-17: Igratia v. Sanford (matchday three)

Redlin is a haven for wildlife art. The town sits on both the Big Sanford River and a pair of lakes, a landscape — or waterscape, if you will — that has inspired some of the nation’s most renowned artists. You can see many of Sanford’s most famous paintings for yourself at the Redlin Art Center.

Redlin Stadium is one of two Sanfordan venues used at these tournaments which does not host a professional football club. Instead, it hosts an amateur baseball team. The oldest Sanfordan stadium in use at these tournaments, the dual-use venue was a product of the fiscally interventionist government policy of its time, which attempted to stimulate a flagging economy by financing large public works projects. It was designed with a unique J-shaped seating layout to accommodate both baseball and football.

Mnisose River hub

The Mnisose River forms Sanford’s southern and western borders, and it is also the mainstem to which Sanford’s other major rivers, the Big Sanford and the Thomas, flow. Virtually all of Sanford’s main cities are situated along or near these three rivers, including all seven host cities for these tournaments, and they are a vital component of the agricultural economy and society that still defines much of Sanford. The name of the Mnisose comes from the language of the Native people who lived here once and still do today.

The ValleyDome is about half an hour east of Riverside Park, with the drive largely along the Mnisose. To get from the ValleyDome to the Discovery Archeodome, you can drive a further hour and a half north to McGovern, largely along the Thomas, or you can take a similarly-long two-hour drive north through Sanford Falls and then west to McGovern. By car, the ValleyDome is one hour south of Sanford Falls, home of all three Sanford Falls hub venues, and two hours south of Derry, home of the Copa venue for the Northern Plains hub.

The ValleyDome · Red Stream, Sanford (cap. 9 100)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Airannia v. Igratia (matchday one)
Copa: Sanford v. Airannia (matchday two)
Sub-20: Sanford octofinal one
Sub-17: Sanford quarterfinal

Red Stream is a major educational hub for Sanford, as the University of Sanford is the nation's flagship institution and boasts the country's lone law and medical schools. Much of the town exists in relation to the university, however, for better or for worse. For visitors, the Pavolan Music Museum is one of the few other major attractions.

This was the first domed stadium built in Sanford, and it still serves many purposes: as the longtime home of League of the Single Sun club River Valley, the traditional site of Sanford’s high school football national championship games, the home of the Sanfordan Professional Basketball Association’s South Sanford Tanagers, and also a venue for indoor track and field, swimming and diving, and volleyball events. It was originally an air-supported structure, but after roof collapse incidents, a steel roof was installed to reinforce its structural integrity. Given its status hosting practically every type of sport commonly played in Sanford, it’s perhaps fitting that the ValleyDome will be the only venue out of seventy-two overall to host fixtures for all three of the coterminous tournaments.

Discovery Archeodome · McGovern, Sanford (cap. 3 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Airannia v. Igratia (matchday one)
Sub-20: Sanford v. Airannia (matchday two)

McGovern is home to Corn Palace, a football club whose name harkens to the city’s most famous tourist attraction, and the Sanfordan Professional Basketball Association’s Corn Palace Cobbers, a team which actually plays in their namesake venue. It’s a uniquely Sanfordan experience: a century-old, Moorish Revival temple to Sanfordan agricultural prosperity, decorated with murals composed of over three hundred thousand ears of corn, the entirety of which is redesigned and redecorated every year. If you visit McGovern, you should see it.

The Discovery Archeodome is the home venue of Corn Palace — a hipster favorite for foreign fans of Sanfordan football, and the only surviving club to have won the Sanford PREMIER League in its day, but a team which has been stuck in the League of the Silver Moon since it was created. The stadium was named for a nearby archeological site, of a prehistoric Native settlement. The archeological site is open to the public, and guides can teach visitors, families, or school groups about the Native people and their discoveries in McGovern. The stadium itself is somewhat smaller to avoid disturbing any artifacts of interest nearby, but crowd noise can build surprisingly well for such a small venue.

Riverside Park · Lewiston, Sanford (cap. 1 600)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Airannia v. Igratia (matchday one)
Sub-17: Sanford v. Airannia (matchday two)

Lewiston was the first major white settlement in Sanford and its original capital. It grew rapidly as a strategically valuable point on the mighty Mnisose River, perfect for trade and travel by riverboat. Today, it is known as Sanford’s archery capital, as the National Archery Center boasts a ninety-meter indoor range, three outdoor field ranges, a 3D range, and two Olympic-standard ranges.

Riverside Park is the oldest and smallest venue to host any League of the Single Sun or League of the Silver Moon club, and Lewiston Clark has been mired in the League of the Silver Moon for the league’s entire history to this point, with seemingly little chance of promotion. Its facilities are fit for purpose as a high school field. Unfortunately, no better venues in southern Sanford were available to finish out the Mnisose River hub, so this will be the smallest out of all seventy-two venues to host fixtures at these three tournaments.

A largely rural, very sparsely-populated inland nation far from the ocean with strong winds, harsh winters, and more cows than people.

In other words, paradise.

Nyowani Kitara National Info

Image
Nyowani Kitara, in red, shown in a map with its surrounding neighbors

Nyowani Kitara is a nation that is a multi-ethnic nation, formerly ruled as a one party communist state, still recovering from a long civil war.

For nearly 90 years, in various iterations, the country was ruled as a one-party state, with the Kitara Progressive Worker's Coalition, the nation's communist party, being the sole source and summit of political power in the nation. After brutal civil war, which sparked interest and interventions from many nations within Rushmore and beyond.

Following the war, a peace deal was signed, and free and fair elections, sponsored by Nephara, were brought to the forefront. A referendum for independence in Osterland was narrowly defeated. The peace deal has held strong, as Muhoozi Kulan is now just beginning his 3rd, and final, term as President of Nyowani Kitara.

There are three major ethnic groups in Nyowani Kitara. The first is the Kitara, who account for approximately 57% of the population. These are black skinned people who originate as part of the Kitara tribe, in Banija, mass migrated to modern-day Nyowani Kitara in the 1840s after they were largely exiled by Banijan authorities. Because of that, they have no diplomatic relations with Banija and are largely to be considered 'radically' anti-Banijan. Radical anti-Mormon teachings from the country, alongside Communism and a dispute over who should use the name(Banija consider their own Kitara Region to be the 'true Kitara', while Nyowani Kitara believe Banija lost the rights to the name when the exilied the Kitara people), lead to heavily strained relations.

When they came to north Rushmore, They conquered the land that was dominated by a variety of white native tribes. Osterlanders(approximately 30% of the population) are the biggest native white ethnic group, with Nordlanders(6%) and Zealanders(1%) behind them. The remaining 6% are largely white immigrants and their descendants from neighboring countries (particularly Graentfjall, Tikariot, Yuezhou, and San Ortelio).

Nyowani Kitara is known for its short, yet harsh, winters. This is a small and poorer country, and therefore outdoor sports are rather popular in this corner of Rushmore. Ethnic group for each player is listed. While sports in Nyowani Kitara are integrated on gender, this team is all males.

It is considered something of a minor miracle that this bid can get off the ground- the KWFA remains probably one of the last national institutions still firmly controlled ny former Akongo supporters, so many outsiders say that the frequent cooperation between the KWFA and the Government that is required to throw on a tournament of this size is a 'boon' for healing within Nyowani Kitara.

Stadia

Hub A: Dewayo

Dewayo is the country's capitol city, and by far the largest city in the country. It is an urban place that has served as the nation's capitol definitely since its founding. It is the business and political core of the country- people are really moving into the capitol from all over the place, so despite it being a Kitara dominant city (70% of the city is part of the Kitara ethnic group) it is rapidly diversifying.

Republic Stadium
Capacity: 63,000 in Dewayo, Nyowani Kitara

The national stadium. Formerly known as the Revolutionary Grounds during the communist era, and during Copa Rushmori XLIII. The country's largest stadium. Renamed shortly after CR 43, to reflect the fact that it is no longer a socialist nation.

Hub B: Lake Viljan

Hub B in Nyowani Kitara is built around Lake Viljan, a large, freshwater lake that borders four different Rushmori nations. The lake winds through and cuts around different parts of Nyowani Kitara, as it hits the northern shores of Nyowani Kitara, and the country also has two exclaves that dot different parts of Lake Viljan. It is an essential lake to Kitaran commerce and culture, as it is the primary source of freshwater for the country.

The Viljan Lighthouse
Capacity: 34,000 in Port Viljan, Nyowani Kitara

Located in the heart of formerly opposition stronghold Port Viljan, it is the largest stadium in historic Osterland. It is known as a fairly wealthy city and was formerly a separatist hub, although the pro-Osterland independence movement is mostly dead. Plenty of war memorials in the city, however it is also known as a hub of Osterlander culture- known for late nights and energetic dancing energy, it's a city built for night owls.

It is also the 2nd largest city in the country.

Copa Rushmori Group Stage MD3: Three Golden Kingdoms v. Nyowani Kitara
One Copa Rushmori Octofinal

North Rock Stadium
Capacity: 34,000 in Karora, Nyowani Kitara

This city borders Lake Viljan but on the Kitaran mainland. Karora was the source of fierce fighting and numerous battles during the civil war, leaving it a scarred city. There are numerous war memorials located throughout the city.

Sub-20 Group Stage MD2: Montagne Noire v. Three Golden Kingdoms
Sub-20 Group Stage MD3: Three Golden Kingdoms v. Nyowani Kitara

Kitara Air Arena
Capacity: 42,000 in Ibarnet, Nyowani Kitara

Another stadium that was purpose built for Copa Rushmori XLIII, it is in the Western Viljan Peninsula of Nyowani Kitara. Due to geography of sharing a land border with Tikariot, some of that culture certainly seeps into Nyowani Kitara.

Juvenil Sub-17 Group Stage MD2: Montagne Noire v. Three Golden Kingdoms
Juvenil Sub-17 Group Stage MD3: Three Golden Kingdoms v. Nyowani Kitara

Hub C: Bitternea Peninsula

Considering the geography, Nyowani Kitara and the Kytler Peninsulae, who are NYK's southern neighbor via their Bitternea exclave, have decided to work together on a joint hub- named after the Bitternea Peninsula.

The senior Copa Rushmori matches will be held on the Kytlerian side of the border, so see their IC info page for information on the CBDN bowl. The two NYK cities in this hub, however, will be discussed here.

Bitternea?

A Kytlerian exclave of just over a million people bordering Tikariot and Nyowani Kitata, Bitternea was absorbed by the Federal Republic following a civil war decades ago then itself absorbed refugees from the Kitaran Civil War. Often forgotten by mainland Kytlerians, Bitternea still holds its own specific cultural tendencies, including being a basketball hub that provided the majority of players - several with Kitaran roots - for the belated first Kytlerian team in the International Basketball Championships.

The capital Cobden is one of three main cities that account for around half of the Bitternean population, along with Midanbury and Boldrewood. The climate is rather hot and humid, but (as you’ll see a little way down) this shouldn’t have an effect on the action that takes place here.

CBDN Bowl
Capacity: 42,069 in Cobden, Kytler Peninsulae

For generation information on the Kytler Peninsulae, See here.

Cobden is the capital and largest city of Bitternea, and the CBDN Bowl - complete with hipster abbreviation of the city name lit up on the iridescent metal facade - was built with international events in mind. Notable for a stealthily-fitted retractable roof - the sliding panels are actually stored under the fixed part of the roof covering the stands - the venue hosted group matches at World Cups 98 and 100, the Liga B Champions Trophy/Rising Stars Cup finals package, and also plays host to the Bitternea International University gridiron team that recently made an inauspicious entry into NSCF competition. (OOC note: This blurb is written by KP himself).

Matches Held Here
Copa Rushmori Group Stage MD1: The Kytler Peninsulae v. Three Golden Kingdoms
Copa Rushmori Group Stage MD2: Nyowani Kitara v. The Kytler Peninsulae

Mejo Road/b]
Capacity: 21,202 in Kampagola, Nyowani Kitara

This city is located right on the Kitaran side of the Kitaran-Bitternea border. Because of that it has a bit of a distinct flair among Kitaran cities- a little more cosmopolitan, maybe a little more hipster.

Matches Held Here
Sub-20 Group Stage MD1: The Kytler Peninsulae v. Three Golden Kingdoms
Sub-20 Group Stage MD2: Nyowani Kitara v. The Kytler Peninsulae
One Sub-20 Octofinal

[b]Tayale Public Park

Capacity: 11,200 in Tayale, Nyowani Kitara

Tayale is a smaller city, about 20 miles north of the border- making this another tight hub. There is an easy access train line from Kampagola north to get to Tayale. Tayale is known for being at the center of some of Nyowani Kitara's underrated scenery, as just beyond are the 'Revolutionary Mountains', which are one of the few things that have not been renamed by Kulan's government over the years.

Matches Held Here

Kwrpania Group host information

Kwrpania

Bezpem myb Kwrpanrwz! The Riverine State of Kwrpania and the Kwrpan Football Federation are delighted to welcome you for this historic edition of the Copa Rushmori! Kwrpania is a nation of just over 4 million people in West Pavola in Rushmore, sharing borders with the Kytler Peninsulae to the west and Græntfjall to the east, with the Komodo Channel off the northern coast. The country is dominated by a broad, major river, known only as Mother River by the Kwrpan, with a width upwards of several miles through most of northern Kwrpania. The North and Capital provinces in the north of the country are the most densely populated areas, with the Tydebwg-Kwrpanmap Capital Metro Area alone accounting for approximately half of Kwrpania's population, while the central River Province accounts for another quarter due to dense river traffic surrounding natural resource and agricultural industries. The West is dominated by Bezbenpam and the Sunset Coast region, with the drier interior areas being comprised mostly of rural ranching and herding communities, while the rough highland terrain of the South limits its population to the smallest of the six.

Before you arrive

Kwrpania is a society that would describe itself as "collectivist". Social values generally only vary between communities, not within them, as the overriding principle of Kwrpan social mores is "what is best for us, as a whole". This usually manifests itself in what are commonly seen as positive values - kindness towards others, tidiness towards surroundings, respect for the environment and for the rights of people living there. In smaller communities, however, insularity leads to an attitude towards the rights of minorities best described as "active indifference", which at worst manifests as a form of shunning. Therefore, it is generally recommended that foreigners stick to cities, especially those used as Copa Rushmori host sites, or to areas along Mother River which are used to tourism, such as the Thundering Falls or Mist Valley regions in the River Province.

This "collectivist" attitude does lead to significant social pressures, even within large cities. Littering is extremely frowned upon, as are other "social nuisances" (public drunkenness, being noisy on public transport or other public confined areas, public smoking), especially in areas where children are present. This rarely results in criminal prosecution, especially of foreigners, but locals will make their opinions known about such behavior, and not always peacefully.

It would be incorrect to get the impression that Kwrpan people do not know how to have fun, however. Alcohol, especially the potent local spirit known as "mapokab" (literally "stomach explosion"), is readily available throughout the country, and there are very few restrictions on foreigners importing alcohol or edible marijuana for personal use, though hard drugs are still strictly prohibited. The use of fireworks is also extremely socially accepted, to the point of not even being considered a "social nuisance" (at least until deep into the night), with a vibrant summer night in a Kwrpan city being marked by hours of bangs and flashing (and the orange-and-white lights and sirens of ambulances).

Getting around

Tens of billions of tynev were invested into infrastructure in preparation for World Cup 100, with the construction of high-speed rail lines between Tydebwg, the Sunset Coast, and Zube in the Kytler Peninsulae, even despite protests in the West Province. This now provides for high-speed connections between the two major urban areas and to Zube International Airport, the largest airport in this area of West Pavola by some distance and the likely easiest destination for Kwrpania-bound travellers (though Sunset Coast and Tydebwg International Airports also provide service to many destinations around Rushmore).

For those wishing to see the rest of the country, however, a variety of modes are recommended, as the rural West and South are only easily accessible by road, and the areas around the Mist Valley and Thundering Falls suffer from slow and unreliable rail services, extremely slick and occasionally windy roads, and slow but absolutely beautiful boat services up Mother River. City-wide public transportation is only excellent in the Tydebwg-Kwrpanmap Capital Region Metro area, with the eponymous metro/light rail system serving the entire region with frequent service, especially on matchdays. The Sunset Coast Metro is also present, but lacks the frequency to act as a truly excellent service. Cycling is also generally encouraged, with Sunset Coast regional authorities providing free bike rental points around downtown Bezbenpam for visitors and commuters alike.

Frjálshöfn

Frjál-What?

Literally “free harbour.” Which really sums up what this place is.

For a whole nation?

Well, for certain values thereof that include “tax haven city-state.” Around 550,000 people live in this pocket of Komodo Channel shoreline by the Kwrpan-Kytlerian border, making it the second-biggest city on Pavola’s northern shores unless you count the Kytlerian capital of Zube a little way inland. It’s essentially where a whole heap of the… less regulatory-accepting corporations of West Pavola call home, along with a bunch of their workers both well-renumerated and very not. If you see a gambling sponsor appear on a broadcast of West Pavolan sport, it’s basically a given they’re registered here; the regional regulator RePBaG (Regulating Pavolan Betting and Gaming) is, too.

Being on the Komodo Channel shore, it’s subject to blustery offshore winds that can strike at any time of year. The climate is otherwise reasonably temperate. Frjálshöfn has its own airport, albeit a cargo-focused one; Zube International Airport continues to serve as the most convenient long-haul passenger gateway for Frjálshöfn.

Kwrpania Group venues

Capital Region hub

The Capital Region is the powerhouse of Kwrpania. Focused upon the old and new capitals of Tydebwg and Kwrpanmap, the region holds almost half of the Kwrpan population, and remains the industrial center of the country, with the dockyards and factories of the North being Kwrpania's economic window to the world.

National Stadium · Tydebwg, Kwrpania (cap. 52 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Kwrpania v. Karst Socialist Republic (matchday one)
Copa: Frjálshöfn v. Karst Socialist Republic (matchday three)
Copa: Kwrpania octofinal two

The National Stadium is the pride and joy of Kwrpan football fans. Host to the Kwrpan Cup Final, as well as Bright League clubs (and fierce rivals) Ironworks and Central, the stadium is the country's largest, with an expansion of 12,000 seats in the runup to World Cup 100. Served by the Bomsygmwk (Stadium District) metro station, and just ten minutes from Tydebwg Central Station, the stadium is also the easiest to access for foreign visitors. While the renovations have improved the overall quality of the facilities, it is does not quite match the modern cathedrals used elsewhere in the tournament, but the relatively steep stands and the dense surrounding district will provide an extremely vibrant atmosphere, especially when the Electric Eels are in town.

Capital Park · Kwrpanmap, Kwrpania (cap. 35 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Kwrpania v. Karst Socialist Republic (matchday one)
Sub-20: Frjálshöfn v. Karst Socialist Republic (matchday three)
Sub-20: Kwrpania octofinal one
Sub-17: Kwrpania quarterfinal

Capital Park is, fittingly, the stadium of the capital, and also the Kwrpan host venue to receive the most transformational modifications. With the two main stands having been completely rebuilt to add over 10,000 seats, the stadium retains its most notable charm - the southeast end of the stadium, facing downtown Kwrpanmap, is entirely open and just tens of meters from a cliff-edge, providing a stunning view of downtown, backlit by the setting sun during an evening kickoff in a breathtaking way. The stadium itself remains a rather traditional one, with a roof only covering the main stand and part of the opposite stand, and the shallower, bowl style of seating providing a more comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.

Sazdobsed City Stadium · Sazdobsed, Kwrpania (cap. 9 200)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Kwrpania v. Karst Socialist Republic (matchday one)
Sub-17: Frjálshöfn v. Karst Socialist Republic (matchday three)

Sazdobsed sits on the windswept and rough northern coast of Kwrpania, and its people fit that ethos, with the city being the home of the hard-working Kwrpan fisheries industry. Their local club, National Fisheries, won their first ever Bright League title three years ago, but that remains one of the few bright sparks for an otherwise gloomy club and town. As with all Kwrpan, though, you can expect a warm welcome from the locals, and the chance to watch the brightest young talents in the region light up their little stadium will only turn up the warmth to another level. With the rough coastline, the small amount of seafront area is taken up by the fisheries, and so despite their maritime focus the Sazdobsed City Stadium sits just south of the downtown core, as the nightlife district rapidly gives way to small apartment complexes and single-family housing. The stadium itself is best described as "cozy", and has all the charm of a traditional small enclosed park.

Mother River hub

Mother River has always been the beating heart of the Kwrpan people, and the cities along its course retain that spirit. Visitors to this hub will experience all the natural beauty that the Kwrpan interior has to offer, with stunning waterfalls and the picturesque fog rolling over the lush glades and meadows of the region capturing the hearts of everyone who comes to visit.

Thundering Falls Stadium · Tygnad, Kwrpania (cap. 19 400)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Karst Socialist Republic v. Oberour Ar Moro (matchday two)
Copa: Oberour Ar Moro v. Kwrpania (matchday three)
Sub-20: Kwrpania octofinal two
Sub-20: Kwrpania quarterfinal

The Mist Valley is a hidden gem of beauty in Kwrpania. The combination of the weather, where warm, humid air from the coast and Mother River meets the cooler air of the upland South, and the roaring Thundering Falls just outside of town that mark the end of the navigable portion of Mother River, create an unending mist that floats and swirls throughout the valley. The mist can be stunningly beautiful, especially in the early morning light, but its constant presence has created a rather gloomy people. That ends when they walk in the Thundering Falls Arena, though, the home of their beloved Mist Valley club in the Bright League. Expect mist (of course), a several-day scenic boat ride (if you would prefer not to drive on slick, sometimes windy roads) and perhaps a bit of rain, and a boisterous crowd who aren't shy about lighting flares to drive their players on and the mist away.

River Society Arena · Zońkwsed, Kwrpania (cap. 12 500)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Karst Socialist Republic v. Oberour Ar Moro (matchday two)
Sub-20: Oberour Ar Moro v. Kwrpania (matchday three)
Sub-17: Kwrpania octofinal one

The local River Society is an integral part of the fabric of Kwrpan social life. Founded across the country, these non-governmental organizations have their focus solely on the protection of the wildlife and habitats of their local rivers. River Society Arena, built along a smaller tributary within the city of Zońkwsed along the mighty Mother River, is the most prominent sponsorship effort of the national organization of River Societies, with two games per season in the Bright League (and all games during the these Campeonatos Juvenil) seeing the gate proceeds donated to societies across Kwrpania. The stadium itself fits within the environmentally-conscious ethos of its title sponsor, being the only stadium in Kwrpania built primarily out of wood, with solar panels and water recycling meaning that it is the lone stadium in Kwrpania, and one of the minority throughout the multiverse, in being a net-zero-emissions stadium even while including construction costs.

Lake Park · Mebfygme, Kwrpania (cap. 7 400)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Karst Socialist Republic v. Oberour Ar Moro (matchday two)
Sub-17: Oberour Ar Moro v. Kwrpania (matchday three)
Sub-17: Kwrpania octofinal two

Mebfygme means "tranquility", and no better term could describe the city, its people, and the lake upon which it sits. With one main stand and two stands along each end, the stadium uniquely leaves the side opposite the main stand open, as it faces upon the rather absurdly calm Lake Tranquility. With the town and lake lying in the base of a small "bowl" of hills, the complete lack of wind and still lake have given way to a local culture that is, especially to outsiders used to the frantic pace of big cities, unnervingly or even annoyingly level-headed.

Sunset Coast hub

Where the North is gritty, and the Central and South along Mother River are beautiful and lush, the Sunset Coast is the vibrant, techno, modern party beach of Northwest Pavola. The sun beats down hot here, but there are no shortage of ways to cool off, with the beautiful beaches accompanying the highest density of bars of anywhere in the country.

Sunset Coast Arena · Bezbenpam, Kwrpania (cap. 40 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Frjálshöfn v. Oberour Ar Moro (matchday one)
Copa: Kwrpania v. Frjálshöfn (matchday two)
Copa: Kwrpania octofinal one
Copa: Kwrpania quarterfinal

Home to Kwrpania's primary hub for this historic Copa Rushmori, Sunset Coast Arena is the peppy, vibrant, colorful new stadium of the nation. With all stands covered by a roof, an LED ring provides support for holographic light displays in the open area high above the pitch, while 1,093 "scales" around the facade illuminate it in various colors, providing a beautiful rippling effect or all sorts of other designs to the surrounding city and those entering the ground. Located just meters from the beach, it's not uncommon to see people walk directly into the ground in their beach shorts and sandals to support their hometown Sunset Coast in the Bright League, before walking back out and jumping in the ocean to celebrate a victory.

Dragon Park · Frjálshöfn, Frjálshöfn (cap. 18 800)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Frjálshöfn v. Oberour Ar Moro (matchday one)
Sub-20: Kwrpania v. Frjálshöfn (matchday two)

The largest stadium in this small city-state, Dragon Park still has a modernity befitting Frjálshöfn’s prosperity and ambitious ethos. Iridescent “scales” line the facade of the ground, which serves as the home of Kwrpan Bright League side DTSclub - historically the works team of Dragon Transport Solutions, a major player in transport logistics across West Pavola. These scales extend upwards to the roof, creating a distinctive bumpy roofline; between the frequent strong winds over the Komodo Channel and this roofline being relatively low given how big the stadium isn’t, high balls can sometimes behave a little erratically.

West Province Football Development Academy · Bezbenpam, Kwrpania (cap. 2 500)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Frjálshöfn v. Oberour Ar Moro (matchday one)
Sub-17: Kwrpania v. Frjálshöfn (matchday two)

The second smallest venue in use at these three tournaments, the home of West Province Football's youth sides and Amateur Selection side in the Kwrpan Cup isn't particularly worth writing home about. They do have the medals from the 27th and 32nd Kwrpan Cups on display - the two times when their West Province Amateur Selection side made it to the Kwrpan Cup final, suffering defeats both times - as well as a gallery of the best players from the West to come through their doors. With Sunset Coast having failed to win a Bright League title since Kwrpan entry into the IFCF, the stadium is still awaiting its first entry into the Rising Stars Cup, but fans and players alike will still be taken care of at these recently renovated facilities.

Savojarna Group host information

Savojarna

Savojarna is a mid-sized socialist federate republic in Northeastern Pavola, home to roughly 24 million people. The country is divided geographically, culturally and linguistically into four major regions, three of which are host to a cluster fo this Copa. Starting from the southwest, on the Pavolan coast lies the region of Rusya. Covering just a bit shy of half of Savojarna’s land area, its dominant language is the Savojar dialect of Russian. It has the mildest climate of the country, leading to it being the main source of agricultural products, and is culturally the most distinct region, being dominated by the Russian Orthodox culture native to the region. The Rusyan coast with its dual cities of Pawlograd and Savojagrad will play host to a Copa group as well as an octofinal.
To the East, separated by the Savojar Strait by a ferry ride of roughly 2.5 hours or a short 45 minute flight, lies the island of Vestrholm. The most populated part of Savojarna, it is the historic heart of the country. The dominating language here is Savojarsk, a North Germanic language divided into many dialects which are not always mutually intelligible (although all Savojars speak Standard Savojarsk), and while the dominant culture of the region is Nordic and influenced by paganism, it is considered the most diverse area of the country. Sjoedrhavn, located at the southeastern tip of Vestrholm, is the Savojar capital and its largest city. The economic, political, and cultural centre of the country will also be the main hub for the Copa.
Far North, the island of Ejana is the smallest and most remote of the four main islands of Savojarna. Ejana has maintained the most of the original, mediaeval Norse pagan culture that defined Savojarna a thousand years ago, when it was actually the centre of an empire that stretched all the way to the Rusyan coast. Its language is a particularly old, almost archaic type of Savojarsk, whose status as a minority language versus a Savojarsk dialect has been subject to intense debate. Its capital Storevik is surprisingly large and worldly, and is rewarded for this with a Copa hub.
Off the eastern coast of Vestrholm lies the fourth region, the forested, hilly island of Sumanen. The centre of the Savojar timber industry lies in its capital, Virkaja, located roughly in the middle of the island. Meanwhile, its largest city is the old port city of Hovikkära, a centre of art and culture as well as host to some glorious 18th century architecture. Sumanen’s culture is in many ways less influenced by mainstream Savojarsk culture than any of the other regions, and its main language is Sumani, a dialect closely related to Finnish.

Arriving and Travelling

Arriving in Savojarna will likely happen through one of the three major Savojar airports. Sjoedrhavn Vilhjelm Kjellsen International Airport is the main arrival point, with direct connections to most major Rushmori nations being offered by International Air Savojarna IAS; additional connections for participating nations are in the works. It is directly connected to Sjoedrhavn city centre by frequent and fast train services. The second relevant arrival point for visitors aiming to visit the Rusya cluster in particular is Pawlograd-Brisjkovo International Airport. Located between Pawlograd and the coast, it is directly linked to the city with highspeed and local trains. Major Rushmori nations will have direct connections to Pawlograd offered by IAS. Finally, there is Thorsborg International, which is not directly serviced by IAS for the most part, but serves as an entry point for some low-cost airlines. This airport is directly linked to the national highspeed train system. If you are visiting Storevik, you likely will have to take a domestic flight connecting at either Pawlograd or Sjoedrhavn. Domestic flights from both airports to Storevik are likely to cost around 50 SAK (return), and take around two hours from Sjoedrhavn and about 2:30 from Pawlograd.

Once you are in the country, the main way to get around is the excellent public transport system. Savojarna has a reliable high-speed train network, with connections between major cities being offered on at least hourly basis, and supplemented with regional trains. Inter-city connections all travel at at least 200 km/h, making train travel the most efficient method of travel within an island or region. Copa tickets count as a nationwide train ticket on game day, so you won’t have to worry about payments, but if you want to get around between games, tickets are easily bought over the SJ Route app, which also helps you navigating the system. Each major city, including all host cities, also have strong local networks built around metros and trams. Inter-island travel typically happens either by ferry or by plane, with ferry tickets being seamlessly integrated into the train ticket system - so if you buy a ticket from Savojagrad to Sjoedrhavn, you will be able to take the same ticket to take a train to Pawlograd Harbour and immediately board a ferry to the capital.

Accommodation is provided nationwide by a variety of places ranging from major luxury hotels to local guest houses. Price classes vary widely; a hostel night may be found for as little as 10-20 SAK depending on place, an average “utility” hotel such as the always-popular Hjem365 will cost 60-90 SAK per night, whereas a luxury hotel in central Sjoedrhavn such as Sjöhuset can run very high. One major specialty of Savojarna is that international hotel chains are not found (see below). Local equivalents are available.

Staying and Paying

Savojarna is a socialist country, but there is relatively little practical effect of this on visitors. One major effect is that due to laws requiring that all companies are worker-owned, many international chains do not operate in Savojarna or operate slightly different than you may be used to. The Savojar currency is the Savojar Krona (SAK), divided into 100 Öre. 1 SAK is roughly equivalent to 1.05 to 1.10 NSD, although rates may vary. Most major credit and debit cards are accepted widely, including in all official ATMs; however, many Savojars rely on cash in daily life, meaning smaller shops may not be well equipped for cards.

The National Bank of Savojarna (SNB) has official exchange points at every airport and most major train stations. Other Savojar banks such as the Worker’s Bank of Savojarna and the Rusyan Agricultural Credit Union also run ATMs, but no exchange bureaus and may not be able to exchange cash. We highly recommend tourists to exchange cash at official SNB exchange bureaus.

Savojarna Group venues

Sjoedrhavn hub

Sjoedrhavn is the nation's capital, located in the south of Vestrholm in a natural harbour. Due to this location, it became a big trading station and a major port for the navy. It has been the traditional seat of power in Savojarna since the 17th century, and even longer ago in Vestrholm. It is a proud and vibrant city that stands on par with many other capital cities in the Multiverse.
Sjoedrhavn is home to three professional football clubs playing in the highest Savojar league, and has four professional-grade stadiums. As a special feature, all three venues are within a fifteen minute cycling distance of each other on the east side of the city; the fourth venue, Stadion Perl Kruger, is used as a training venue for the teams assigned to play in Sjoedrhavn.

Nationalstadion Carl Gustaf Bjurman · Sjoedrhavn, Savojarna (cap. 76 800)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Savojarna v. Adyatin (matchday one)
Copa: Captina Island v. Adyatin (matchday three)
Copa: Savojarna quarterfinal

Known locally simply as “The Bjurman”, this is the home stadium of the national team and Savojarna’s largest stadium. In its international all-seating arrangement, it hosts 76’800 people, with record attendance being 105’210 for a cup final in the 1970s. It is located in a major park, Revolutionsparken (The Revolution Park) in Northwestern Sjoedrhavn, on the edge of a canal. You can easily reach it on the Blue and Red line of the Sjoedrhavn Metro (station “Nationalstadion”).

Stadion Dynamo · Sjoedrhavn, Savojarna (cap. 42 300)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Savojarna v. Adyatin (matchday one)
Sub-20: Captina Island v. Adyatin (matchday three)
Sub-20: Savojarna octofinal one
Sub-20: Savojarna quarterfinal

Stadion Dynamo is the home stadium of Dynamo Sjoedrhavn, one of the biggest clubs in Savojarna. It seats 42’300 people and is located on the other side of Revolutionsparken, separated from the Bjurman only by a green area. Like its larger brother across the park, it is accessible via its own metro station, serviced by the Red Line (station “Stadion Dynamo”).

Sjoedrhavns Stadsstadion · Sjoedrhavn, Savojarna (cap. 28 400)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Savojarna v. Adyatin (matchday one)
Sub-17: Captina Island v. Adyatin (matchday three)
Sub-17: Savojarna octofinal one
Sub-17: Savojarna quarterfinal

Sjoedrhavns Stadsstadion, initially constructed as a city sports field, has been turned into a proper stadium in the early 1970s to serve as the home of FK Sjoedrhavn. The club attracted an increasing audience of workers, students, and members of Sjoedrhavn’s vibrant 1970s counter-culture. Known for a creative, vibrant, and political fanbase, FKS have left their mark on this charming venue. Located about 3 km north of the Bjurman along the river, it is served by metro using the Yellow Line or Blue Line (station “Stadsstadion”).

Coast of Rusya hub

The coast of Rusya serves as the only cluster in Savojarna that covers two cities. Pawlograd is the commercial centre and largest city of Rusya, and the second largest city in the country. Pawlograd has always been a working class city thanks to its location near the main harbour of its region, but also has been a hub of Rusyan liberalism and nationalism. The city has a lot of entertainment, in particular bars, clubs, and music venues, and blends various cultures.
Savojagrad, located about 25 minutes along the coast by intercity train (special trains running during the Copa; 40-60 minutes on regular regional trains depending on connection) was long a relatively sleepy university city, although it has a history of a seat of power in the 18th century. Recently, an influx of talented young graduates has transformed the city into a creative and vibrant hub. The city sports the smoothest blend of Savojarsk and Rusyan culture, and has a lot of musea, a famed theatre, and a vibrant cultural scene overall.

Stadion Admiral Rjurden · Pawlograd, Savojarna (cap. 59 500)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Adyatin v. Norrhem (matchday two)
Copa: Norrhem v. Savojarna (matchday three)
Copa: Savojarna octofinal one

The Stadion Admiral Rjurden (locally known as “Rjurden” or “Torpedostadion” after its regular occupant) has been recently expanded to add a third rank. Located in a lively street in the docklands, it is home to FK Torpedo Pawlograd, the nation’s most successful club. It is narrow due to its surroundings, and has steep and high stands that are packed with uniquely passionate fans. Located in the Docklands district, it is served by tram lines 3, 5, and 10 (station “Admiral Rjurden” for lines 3 & 5, and station “Torpedo mesto” for line 10); however, we actually recommend taking the metro line A to Gavanski Prospekt and taking in the seaside pubs before walking 10 minutes to the stadium.

Stadion Alexei Sacharov · Pawlograd, Savojarna (cap. 40 400)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Adyatin v. Norrhem (matchday two)
Sub-20: Norrhem v. Savojarna (matchday three)

The home stadium of RLSK Pawlograd, the Alexei Sacharov is located in the northwest of the city, across the city from the Rjurden. It’s a large bowl built in the 1980s, and frequently lacks attendance as its home team languishes in the second division. Having been modernised for the Copa, the stadium awaits its new guests with anticipation. It is located in a much less lively area than the Rjurden, but is easily accessed by local train (station “Russki Akademija” and a 10 minute walk), or either Line B of the metro or tram 4 or 6 to “Stadion Alexei Sacharov”.

NUSArena · Savojagrad, Savojarna (cap. 27 700)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Adyatin v. Norrhem (matchday two)
Sub-17: Norrhem v. Savojarna (matchday three)
Sub-17: Savojarna octofinal two

Host to AFK Savojagrad, this stadium may be the hub’s smallest, but many consider it one of Savojarna’s prettiest and most comfortable stadia. It is modern, it has recently been renovated, and it has been increased a little bit to bring it to 27’700 seats. This makes it the second largest of the U-17 stadia, and by far the most comfortable. It is situated on the edge of the large campus of the National University at Savojagrad, and can be reached either by taking a local train to “Universitet/NUS” and taking a roughly 15 minute walk along the NUS campus, or taking tram lines 2 or 6 to station “Natsionalni Universitet - Vostok”.

Storevik hub

This far-North city is the capital of Ejana, the smallest and roughest of Savojarna's main islands. In the past, it had grown rich and powerful off its natural resources, mainly copper, iron and silver. Ejanan rulers had been the first to unite Savojarna under their rule, based on their riches and their powerful warriors. Nowadays, Storevik is a pulsating, modern port city. It is also a historically significant location, as the Revolution of 1909 started here, when angry miners from the island's rich mines had besieged the administrative buildings of the Province. These events are memorised in a museum that is considered one of Savojarna's best museums, a highly recommended visit on off-days.

Marinestadion · Storevik, Savojarna (cap. 48 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Copa: Captina Island v. Norrhem (matchday one)
Copa: Savojarna v. Captina Island (matchday two)
Copa: Savojarna octofinal one

Marinestadion is the home of Admiral Storevik, one of the nation’s most successful teams. Bankrolled by the Savojar Navy, this stadium is beautifully modernised, although rather small to account for the smallish population and the typical lack of visiting fans due to the remote location of Storevik. The stadium, reached by three tram lines (4, 5, 8; station Marinestadion), shields its visitors from the often cutting wind, and has been designed to protect from the elements as good as possible while ensuring outside conditions on the field itself.

Ejansk Stadion · Storevik, Savojarna (cap. 41 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-20: Captina Island v. Norrhem (matchday one)
Sub-20: Savojarna v. Captina Island (matchday two)
Sub-20: Savojarna octofinal two

The Ejansk Stadion is known to divide people: Fans of its occupant ESK Storevik consider it a charming field full of personality and are likely to praise its East Side Bar in the eastern main stand. Fans of visiting teams and neutrals often consider it a cold, slightly uncomfortable place that needs its famous bar to get its visitors drunk enough to tolerate the frequent damp, cutting wind from the sea. At the Copa, the elements should be calmer than average thanks to the season. It is reached by tram lines 3 and 5 (station: Fridtholms torg).

Ejansk Universitet Main Sports Field · Storevik, Savojarna (cap. 16 000)

Assigned fixtures:
Sub-17: Captina Island v. Norrhem (matchday one)
Sub-17: Savojarna v. Captina Island (matchday two)

University sports do not have a long tradition in Savojarna - but Ejansk Universitet is the major exception to this rule for reasons nobody quite knows. The Students are a force in handball and a respectable second-division team in hockey; while their football prowess is not as pronounced, they still have a respectable field that was increased to a capacity of 16’000 people using temporary stands. It is the smallest field available, but offers full access to the on-site training infrastructure of the EU sports teams. It is reached by taking a local train or tram 7 to “Ejansk Universitet” and walking five minutes to the sports fields.

MT socialist (mostly) island state - Cultural mixture of Scandinavia, Finland and Russia -Exports iron, steel, silver and wood - Low fantasy in terms of animal species - Sports-loving - 22.8 million inhabitants.

The adjective is Savojar; Savojarnan is not a word!
I am a student of (European) politics, ice hockey fan, left-wing communist bordering on anarchy, and European federalist. Enjoy!

Manager: Igor Topić, age 51
Assistant: Lazar Meier, age 50

Goalkeepers
GK: Óskar Aronsson, age 24, Algolia AC Image
GK: Shu'ayb Ammar Essa, age 27, Stein-los Turkish
GK: Sara Nikolić, age 28, Duke of the North (F)

With the change in management, there is a shake up throughout the club and that starts with who is starting between the woodwork and that will be young Aronsson. After making the switch over to Squornshelous and making a splash, he seems to have the best track to be the number one for the next several years. Good reflexes and excellent decision making, as well as some good positioning, he is as good as you could hope for from a young keeper who is coming into their own. Essa at Turkish has taken over the starting job there and made themselves difficult to beat, though there is the debate whether that is up to their talent or the excellent defense and midfield ahead of them at Stein-los, which probably puts them at the number two for now. Nikolić has started for two seasons with The Dukes and has showcased some decent shot stopping ability as well, her reflexive saves being weekly highlights, though there is the same question as with Essa is if she is the answer or a beneficiary of an excellent setup that helps stymie chances in front of her.

Defenders
L/CB: Joska Szöllôsy, age 31, Royal Jam FC Image
LB: Alzubra Zain Morcos, age 26, Stein-los Turkish (F)
CB: Thorsten Hertzog, age 27, TSV Marzig Image
CB: Zétény Szatmári, age 31, Burnaby SC Image
CB/RB: Sumaiyah Rida Abboud, age 27, Pontmeosont Image (F)

CB/LB: Ingileif Böðvarsdóttir, age 27, Galatica (F)
RB/LB: Katie Sherwin Image, age 28, Myana Image (F)
RB: Lubomír Mašek, age 27, Sardin United

Between the managerial change as well as the Spartans having a woeful defense of their SuperLiga title, there has been quite a bit of shake up in the defense. What remains the same is the centerback pairing as Thorsten Hertzog, named the new captain heading into this Copa, and Zétény Szatmári. The latter adds a veteran presence to a mostly youthful movement being introduced by the new braintrust while Hertzog's growth over the last few years has been immense, perhaps the best Pasargan defender right now. Joska Szöllôsy gets to survive the change on the left between both a rather compelling career in Eastfield Lodge as well as a lack of quality leftbacks being produced. Katie Sherwin's tenacity and going into her prime meant she was always going to keep her starting spot on the right side, even if the team is a bit more defensively inclined now with a pair of defensive minded fullbacks and neither of the backups called up for those positions offering much in the way of going forward either. While it might solidify the defense, it will put a lot of pressure on the midfield and attack to unlock opponents.

Midfielders
RW: Daniela Zagorec, age 25, CA Paulinthal (F)
RW/MC: Joska Rác, age 28, Tanrısal
A/MC: Tarján Ságy, age 25, Royal Jam FC Image
D/MC: Jóhanna Steindórsdóttir, age 24, Stein-los Turkish (F)
MC: Dacso Hegyi, age 27, Tanrısal
D/MC: Oszkar Smid, age 23, Ostissiennes Image
MC: Barna Szôlôsi, age 27, Baskita FC
ST/LW/AMC: Mór Buday, age 28, Herzegovina City FC Image
A/ML: Dominik Szatmáry, age 25, Stein-los Turkish

Fortunately the midfield is perhaps the spot that benefited the most from Thor's tenure as he challenged the SuperLiga clubs to provide more playing time pathways for their youth graduates and we have seen that most in the traditionally strongest part of a Wanderers' team. Daniela Zagorec on the right wing has lots of flair for the attack, decent with her crosses and passes but not likely to find herself on the end of a move compared to her predecessors. Mór Buday on the left hand side though might be or could also cut in from the left and be a driving force behind the attack, with good finishing senses as well as playmaking abilities. Yet in the middle of the park there is a lot of unproven talent both at the international as well as the club level, with four of the five midfielder places being new to the squad. Tarján Ságy is the sole holdover and will hope that his time in the Eastfielder league and having to figure out how to break down intensely defensive systems translates into good playmaking with the national team. Jóhanna Steindórsdóttir will look to be that lynchpin the middle as the cover for the defense and a fulcrum to get the team moving further up field, having been dominant in her first season as a full fledged starter with Turkish.

Strikers
AMLC/ST: Bogdan Laszlo, age 30, Algolia AC Image
ST: Járngrímur Náttúlfsson Image, age 31, CA Paulinthal
ST: Sahir Hana'i Wasem, age 26, Stein-los Turkish
AML/ST: Melinda Sultész, age 31, Avidë (F)
LW/ST: Katinka Fazakas, age 27, Langlois Océanic Image (F)

Járngrímur continues to be the tip of the spear and the Wanderers have to be counting their lucky stars that such a talented player fell into their lap. Graintfjall's collapse allowed this remarkable striker to file a nationality switch and four straight seasons of dominating the SuperLiga has showcase his clinical finishing and superb attacking abilities, as well as having a clutch factor that should prove resourceful. Partnering will be Laszlo who is far less consistent than his partner but has quite the high ceiling and when on form is a deadly striker in his own right, having honed his craft in both Audioslavia and Squornshelous. The first option off the bench if it is needed will be Wasem from Turkish, who like many of the other players who made this team turned a great domestic season with some quality finishing and striker's instincts to make the national team. The other options are not likely to see the field much but Melinda Sultész' versatility might just have her with the edge as the most likely to see significant playing time among the other four options in the pool currently.

Tactics
Image
Igor Topić is not looking to reinvent the wheel with his promotion from the U21 team to the senior team, he will look to play the traditional Pasargan 4-4-2, though with a few tweaks of his own. Both midfielders will be asked to be a playmaker as well as provide defensive cover for the backline. The backline is simply there to defend, flying fullbacks are not part of his system, as both he and Meier come from a defensive background playing in the national team has defenders in their playing days. That could be cause for concern for what is already a streaky attack who will now be asked to hold up the play more to bring the midfield into the attack rather than look to capitalize off quick transitions and turnovers, as well as lots of through balls to run on to.

Captain: Thorsten Hertzog
Corner Taker: Daniela Zagorec

Tactics:
Manager Geraldo Rys and his assistants Mara Tapi and Toms Elwin have decided to implement a slightly aggressive 3-5-2 formation during their tenure as Zenic's national team staff. This formation is intended to maximize the wingbacks' strengths without neutralizing the rest of the team's impact. The young wingbacks' stamina allows them to go forward and cautiously assist in attack to create goal-scoring chances while still being able to get back and provide numbers to stop opposition scoring opportunities. Meanwhile, the Center-backs, Central Midfielders and Forwards create a solid pillar through the heart of the pitch that is intended to both be an alternative route to goal scoring and a multi layered obstruction to the opponents.

Football is the by far most popular sport in Tikariot. The Tikariot Premier League is the highest tier of the Tikariotian football pyramid and is one of the most competitive leagues in the multiverse.
Tikariot has won Copas Rushmori 42, 47 and 48, and in front of home crowds, they hope to add a fourth to their tally.

Image

The fans of the Snowy Owls, called the Dark Tide, also deserve particular mention. Not only are they renowned for their chants, but they are also bringing the Thunder Clap (Click here for example) to the stadium, something that the players join in as a pre-game ritual that has left an impression on the opponents and opposing fans more than once (OOC: similar to the Haka of the New Zealand All Blacks). The players will form a triangle near the kick-off circle and lift their arms, which the fans do as well. Then a lone drum will start to signal the rhythm and both players and fans alike will move in unison, each clap accompanied by a loud cry, the claps (and cries) speeding up, creating an overwhelming sense of impending doom.

Brian McAllister - 55
After having been assistant to now former coach Stuart Ekstrom, Brian McAllister made the move to Sargossa and enjoyed a lot more success than his former mentor, having two Copa Rushmori victories under his belt. With him, the Snowy Owls continue to utilize their flexible 4-3-3, in which the fullbacks can push forward and the wingers drop back depending on the game situation, add unpredictability. With this formation, he also won Tikariot's Copa Rushmori at its 42nd, 47th and 48th editions, bringing his personal total to 5, making him the winningiest coach in Copa Rushmori history.

CARCA GUIDE
ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE BONUSIAN SQUAD

Image

As Bonusia prepares for their National Team to partake in their first ever Copa Rushmori against all the best of Rushmore, main NT manager Xavier Boquete gave a press conference and announced who are the chosen ones amongst more than 100 million souls to fight in behalf of our beloved nation.

Here at Carca (as usual) we elaborated totally didn't rehash a list of all 27 players called up for the national squad, with some info about each aswell as some info about the staff, the national team as a whole and of our nation. That way you, dear Carca reader, you'll once again be the most informed fella during your lunch break!

Image
This section is for any foreigners who might be curious about our humble land, here's some information about Bonusia:
FULL NAME: Confederació Bonusiana (The Bonusian Confederation)
POPULATION (479): 122.193.891
CAPITALS: Kynetbo/Kekla
FORM OF GOVERNMENT: Confederated parlamentary semi-monarchy
HEADS OF STATE:
  • Otger Iceta (Concòrdia Bonusiana - CB)
  • Inda' Mekalanu (Head chief of Keklagara)
OFFICIAL LANGUAGES: Catalan, Bonusian, Maki (Makanada Islands), Pedic (Pedic Islands)

CHARACTER: Although GREAT variances can be found across all the different vegueries (1st level subdivisions of Bonusia) in the country, the Bonusian society could be best described as mostly warm and welcoming. Bonusians have a very strong work ethic, during the week you'll find that very few of them will go out at bars, pubs or any other recreational place (except when there's midweek football), but by contrast this apparent seriousness of character suddenly vanishes when the workweek's over, and the partygoer Bonusians emerge from their suited-up shell. Most popular music genres are Bonusian Pop (B-POP), classical rumba and all sorts of electronic music (techno, house and makina mostly, amongst others). Although it's not widespread, specially amongst old population, drug consumption is fairly frequent and pretty normalized in Bonusia. Most common drugs are alcohol, energy drinks, marihuana and rubdisks.

INHABITANTS

The Bonusian Confederation was born as a pact of cooperation, mutual respect and shared progress between two species that coexisted in Llimana: the Earthlings and the Llimanians.

EARTHLINGS: The Earthlings arrived now almost 500 years ago to Llimana, after a long journey across the cosmos. As their name suggest, they come from a planet called Earth, which is, in unscientific terms, very far away.

Earthlings have an around 1.75m average height, with an important sex difference, the average being 1.65m for females and around 1.85m for males; and they weigh usually between 60 and 90kg. They have soft skin, with a range of colours going from pastel tan all the way to dark brown. They have a facial structure composed of two rounded ears to each side of the face, two occular cavities with their respective eves, a nose (proportionally similar in size to that of Llimanians) on the center, usually long and rounded at the end, and a mouth directly integrated below the nose in the face front. They are also hairy creatures, having their head fully covered in hair, aswell as the armpits, a great portion of the pelvis, and legs; and in the case of males they also grow hair on the chest, the back and in the face.

Almost all Earthlings came from one specific nation in their planet: a land they call Catalonia, which is their ancestral origin and which is still very present in the popular imaginary of Earthlings. It was a region which was a part of a state which tried to erase their existence, and after failing to break free and form their own state the Catalan ancestors of our fellow Earthlings ideated a seedship that put course towards our planet, which had the conditions to support Earth-origined life, in order to start anew and finally be able to govern themselves.

LLIMANIANS: The Llimanians are the first and only (known) sentient species originary of planet Llimana. They evolved their sentience around 20.000 years ago, and had since then dominated the planet.

Compared to Earthlings, Llimanians are slightly smaller and lighter, averaging 1.65m tall and weighing an average of 50 to 70kg, without noticeable sex differences. They have a far more rough and less porous skin than Earthlings, with a colour range that goes from sky blue to navy. They have a noticeably different facial structure than Earthlings, possessing two pointy ears to each side, only one big occular cavity that occupies all the upper half of the front face, and a nose, usually short and rounded under their big eye.

Their upper head is dominated by their elongated mouth, which is movable and can be used to grab small objects with their strong lips. Unlike Earthlings, they have almost no teeth, and instead they pre-grind their food before ingesting. Finally, their chest is dominated by one or a few organic minerals that Llimanians grow naturally, with varying colors that occupy all the color spectrum. Some Llimanians like to keep them clean and orderly, while others just let it grow.

Until the Great Arrival, Llimanians lived in comparatively underdeveloped societies, with the capacity to work metals but yet far away from an industrial level of technology. After the contact, Llimanians around the area, the old Bonusians, were able to adapt to most of these new technologies that the aliens brought, and this greatly improved their quality of life, and they ended up building closer and closer relations to the Earthlings, until they decided to come together under one banner.

GOALKEEPERS

1. Anna Cloquell
Age & Gender: 33, Woman
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Raich (Baix Crossà)
Club: Centre Català de Kynetbo (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: Fornal CF, Kynetbo Òc
Description: Starting in a small club in her area, Cloquell amazed everyone in the lower leagues with her capacity to strech to save shots that would be impossible for most, which earned her the nickname of "La Gata Crossana" (the Crossan Cat) and called the attention of clubs from the capital, specially the Centre Català, who ended up signing her. She's still far from the dawn of her career, although injuries have been plaguing her more and more during recent times.

13. Sílvia Ferrer
Age & Gender: 24, Woman
Species: Llimanian
Birthplace: Rabó (Makanada)
Club: Independent d'Atriu (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: As a good Makanadan, Ferrer is not the talkative type. Closed upon herself, rigid and at bad times bad tempered, she is however a very secure keeper, and the main reason for Atriu's excellent defensive record. Very observant, big and imposing, she's like a wall in front of the goal. After Cloquell retires, she appears to be the perfect substitute to defend the Bonusian net.

30. Amadeu Vallbona
Age & Gender: 32, Man
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Minga (Tionera)
Club: Forestals Minganers (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: A football romantic, Vallbona has won the hearts of every football fan in Tionera, thanks to his compromise and passion for football he's always shown during his career. As a 3rd goalkeeper, his probability to play is very low, but his experience, his leadership skills and his passion will be greatly helpful to the rest of the squad.

DEFENDERS

2. Pol Miró
Age & Gender: 22, Man
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Somorrosta (Detrívora)
Club: Inter Somorrosta (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: Pol Miró (a.k.a. "Polmi") has a very serious yet flexible way of approaching football. Not the shiniest on the pitch, his spotless performance defensively, aswell as his great capacity to adapt to rtyhm changes makes him a great asset to the Bonusian squad. Furthermore, he is very appreciated off the ptich by everyone for his charity work and his kind and warm approach to fans.

3. Caterina Bruch (C)
Age & Gender: 34, Woman
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Vilamagra (Serrallonga)
Club: Forestals Minganers (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: Masó CF
Description: The eternal capitan of the Forestals. Strength, experience and a pretty bad temper are the main qualities of a Caterina Bruch that represents extremely well the prototype of the classic defender. Having been born and raised in a small town in the mountains of Serrallonga, Bruch doesn't have the will to walk in eggshells, which makes her a great captain, always making sure no one slacks off. These are her last years as a defender for the national team, so she is extra motivated to make a good tournament.

4. Tomeu Gonfaus
Age & Gender: 29, Man
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Portustal (Vicèntia)
Club: Centre Català de Kynetbo (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: CP Portustal, Et Terminal
Description: With persumably at least some more year of his carreer ahead, Gonfaus has made himself one of the greatest Bonusian defenders ever to play. His biggest strength is his ability to predict attacker's movements to intercept them. His mental resilience is remarkable, and not only of use on the game but also off the pitch, being able to overcome and help others overcome the biggest of difficulties.

6. Sofia Fàbregas
Age & Gender: 29, Woman
Species: Llimanian
Birthplace: Mubu (Mubugara)
Club: Universitari d'Op (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: Having been born in one of the most backwards regions of Bonusia, Fàbregas managed to study in Op and got to live the life she wanted. She's resilient and a great analyst, qualities that help her both in offense and defense.

12. Dioclecià Banach "Dio"
Age & Gender: 28, Man
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Auguriada (Angèlica)
Club: Club Sant Pere (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: Not your average defender, "Dio" is actually a big detractor of agression and violence in football. Yet, without being a fiercy big guy, Banach has his own way to defend. A great presence in all the defensive line, great timing instincts and his ability to play the ball from behind make of him a very complete player. He also is a very religious individual, following the Catholic faith, and spirituality plays a big role in his life.

14. Biel Burgés
Age & Gender: 28, Man
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Sant Josep Follet (Augústia)
Club: Gorgelgal (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: A big and scary centerback that has grown amongst ice, cold and the fierce beasts that inhabit it. He shines because of his superior physical attributes, which come in handy for Boquete whenever an opposing squad's attacking temptatives need to be cut short.

18. Francesca Rojo
Age & Gender: 22, Woman
Species: Llimanian
Birthplace: Arroça (Sau)
Club: Anticicló Molina (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: Cheerful, creative and unpredictable, Rojo brings the spark to the Bonusian defensive line, acting in ways that could seem strange to most, trying daring and highly risky maneuvers. However, this unpredictability makes attackers less likely to ever outdo Rojo, as she keeps reinventing herself time and time again.

22. Àngels Catchot
Age & Gender: 26, Woman
Species: Llimanian
Birthplace: Beldeka (Keklagara)
Club: Keklaneka Esportiu (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: Kekla Akagaja, Bubu Mubu
Description: One of the few players who played and then left Bubu Mubu, Catchot picked up some of their philosophy of instinctive playing, and started to develop it to suit her needs. Leaving raw instinct behind and instead developing his capacity to do without thinking, Catchot is able to think and do way faster than any of her teammates.

MIDFIELDERS

5. Sibil·la Casas
Age & Gender: 25, Woman
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Vilamolla de Montgras (Tionera)
Club: Phönix SV (Calgasia Image)
Previous clubs: Forestals Minganers
Description: Born to a family of lumberjacks, Casas has certainly applied some family knowledge into football. A defensive midfielder that chops down opponent's gameflow like fresh wood. Her solidity on the pitch has pushed the Calgasian Phönix SV to a new league title after a 5-year drought. Surprisingly, despite her rough and intense gamestyle, she's actually a very soft and sensible person. She likes to play the ukelele in her free time.

7. Antoni Obiols
Age & Gender: 28, Man
Species: Llimanian
Birthplace: Barraka (Llenak)
Club: Unomenc CF (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: More than a football player, Obiols is pure nerve: He just can't stay still. In whatever he does, he needs to be in the move constantly. Ofc in the pitch it makes him a very valuable player when you need to do high press or move the ball fast to avoid a steel defense. He has worked wonderfully at Unomenc, which has a straight-forward style which requires a high work-rate, and now it needs to be seen whether he is able to fit in the NT.

8. Isaac Boleda
Age & Gender: 24, Man
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Rocafonda (Laietània)
Club: Inter Somorrosta (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: Nou Roca, Rocafonda Unit
Description: The baller midfielder, the calm to the storm. He puts a bit of order in the midfield and enjoys distributing to his companions in the front. Other than that he's a pretty quiet dude, always with his headphones on listening to makina. Apparently he uses BPM of his favourite songs to adjust the rythm of his game.

15. Itziar Jara
Age & Gender: 21, Woman
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Kekla (Keklagara)
Club: De Vursen FK (Solgavden Image)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: Nicknamed as "La Bomba" (The Bomb) due to her bad temper, Jara is not a player to mess with. Despite her young age, she had turned herself into a key piece (if not THE key piece) of her childhood club, Unió Bonusiana, before making a big move to De Vursen FK, one of the biggest clubs in the well-reputed Solgavish Kongensliga. Intensity, great pressing and her leadership skills are her greatest traits. She sometimes likes to gossip a bit too much.

16. Arnau Poveda
Age & Gender: 21, Man
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Kynetbo (Àrea Metropolitana de Kynetbo)
Club: Universitari d'Op (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: Front Cenetista
Description: Born in one of the poorest districts of Kynetbo, Poveda perhaps wouldn't have even tried playing football was it not for the Front Cenetista youth football programme. Currently studying and pursuing a football career aswell, the midfielder shines in his decision making and his great passing, which helps with difficult defenses. His hood origins manifestate clearly in his peculiar mannerisms, thus making high-stand events difficult for him.

23. Zoe Alcoberro
Age & Gender: 34, Woman
Species: Llimanian
Birthplace: Ferra (Ferragara)
Club: Gimnàstic de Tarraconova (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: Ultramar Keklabluka, Copapèlana Jazzers, Forestals Minganers
Description: Alcoberro is perhaps the footballing equivalent of an all-rounder. Being her natural position in the defensive midfield, during all her career she has proven to be extremely competent at any midfielding position, aswell as in the defence or even as a striker if needed. Not seeming to be a starter for the Black Star, The Roman player will account for an excellent "golden sub". She's can even perform as a support member, with her good mood bringing joy to the squad and boosting the morale.

24. Zoe Calet
Age & Gender: 22, Woman
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Kynetbo (Àrea Metropolitana de Kynetbo)
Club: Et Terminal (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: The second Zoe of the team. Don't let the names confuse though, Calet couldn't be more different her name peer. Serious, even sometimes depressing, she's a very negative person overall. However, she's capable of using her negativity to predict difficulties, and prevent them. She's able to resolve in the worst of situations.

25. Salut Rus
Age & Gender: 24, Woman
Species: Llimanian
Birthplace: Keklabluka (Keklagara)
Club: Keklaneka Esportiu (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: Quiet and sneaky, Rus uses her capacity to make her way through overcrowded midfields to get herself and the ball wherever she wants. Not much is known about her personal life, other than a possible passion for boat replicas.

FORWARDS

9. Isaac Pedra
Age & Gender: 24, Man
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Unom (Plana d'Unó)
Club: Unomenc CF (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: A very competitive and hungry youngster who is already marking an era for Unomenc, helping them grab an excellent 3rd position last season while being the top scorer for his team. Like a good Unomian, he's passionate about everything, in his case specially towards football. With him in the pitch, no one is worried about a loss. At least with him in your team, no one'll be able to say that you haven't tried.

10. Bernat Formiga
Age & Gender: 22, Man
Species: Llimanian
Birthplace: Sant Josep Saler (Fangalera)
Club: Wirr Tsi Lightning (Chromatika Image)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: Formiga is the pinnacle of the classic Llimanian winger. Using his superior speed he passes through defenses like they're made out of cardboard. He's helpful and always tries to lend a hand to his teammates, but he's capable of the worst with whoever he considers his enemy. He's decided and he's got not a drop of fear in his body, so in general it's the type of guy you want to be friends with. He aswell has moved to Chromatika, to enter a newcomer of the league, the

11. Jofre Ramon
Age & Gender: 24, Man
Species: Llimanian
Birthplace: Wèep (Pungapu)
Club: Associació Pèdica (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: Coming from the sunny Pedic Islands, Ramon is not one to lose his temper at all. He's always calm and smiling, no matter what happens to him (most probably the rubdisks have something to do with that). Regarding football, he's grown amongst Pedics and their various cultural practices involving feet and it's control, so that and his natural ability have turned him into a skill master, being able to do things with the ball that no one else can. This ability has earned him the title of team wizard, with his boots chanelling his magic and imprinting it into the pitch.

17. Antonieta Dou
Age & Gender: 23, Woman
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Sant Puigdemont (Plèrnia)
Club: Centre Català de Kynetbo (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: Interstany Al·lol·la
Description: A young winger already shining for the Centre Català, Antonieta is the disruptive element of the Mechanical Fuet's. During last season, her and the Osnari Wenert Bitzius have formed a lethal duo that has brought the barretines back to the top again. Unconformist and anti-comfortist, she puts past wingbacks usually by sheer power of will. She can seem off quite rude and edgy at first glance, but in reality, covered by several layers of bad humor and apparent toughness, she's a big softie.

19. Aitor Cea
Age & Gender: 21, Man
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Pètar (Mestrívola)
Club: Z'ai'ai (Chromatika Image)
Previous clubs: UE Pètar
Description: What to say about Cea. The boy from Pètar has been a huge boom in Chromatika, helping to bring the eternal underperformers of Z'ai'ai to a solid midtable, almost achieving qualification to the IFCF Challengers Cup; all while being a key player for the team and scoring no less than 20 goals in his first season. And not only that, but in his first international appearance, he got the bronze boot in the BoF, despite Bonusia falling in the quarterfinals. He's competitive and takes the game very seriously, but he also knows how to get loose. He has a little gambling addiction issue.

20. Ares Miró
Age & Gender: 20, Man
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Somorrosta (Detrívora)
Club: Inter Somorrosta (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: It's the second brother of the Miró family, after his older brother Pol. The rise of the youngster has been metheorical. In what has been his first season playing for Inter's first team, he has managed to take the spot of a Lluís Portí that has seemed to keep losing his brightness over time. Skill and strength have been his presentation card, although his young age can still show.

21. Yonatan Morad
Age & Gender: 21, Man
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Tarraconova (Tarraconensis)
Club: Gimnàstic de Tarraconova (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: No previous clubs
Description: Yonatan Morad is, to best describe him, a free spirit. He's always bothered by rutines, discipline and obligations, and he feels he plays better when he is able to do whatever he wants. For now, it seems Margaret has given him the word of the truth, as he's having some wonderful seasons with Gimnàstic, winning the Two Heads Cup twice. However, he's even more popular off the pitch than on it: he's charismatic, a party animal and a social media star, having a channel on Witch where he makes blogs and directs about his life.

26. Àngela Trill
Age & Gender: 30, Woman
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Badasell (Ausona)
Club: Et Terminal (Bonusia)
Previous clubs: CE Badasell
Description: She most certainly didn't expect to be up here, but neither did anyone think that the Terminal would make it as far as it did in the Primera Divisió. The rise of Les Fletxes has been in an important measure thanks to her and her synergy with Marta Schuster, who also was called up for the South Newlandian national team. She is a serious striker, perhaps a good thing considering the kinds of characters that the Bonusian side got up front. She is most good when going for precision rather than raw power and frenzy, waiting for the right chance to attack.

HEAD COACH
Xavier Boquete
Age & Gender: 56, Man
Species: Earthling
Birthplace: Barçanini (Lokinalien)
Description: Boquete was once a very promising midfielder suspect for his hometown team, Barçanini Platanar, but sadly an extremely severe entry in a match against KabaBarraka left him in a wheelchair at just 17 years old, ending his playing career. However, instead of giving up on football, he started to learn and work to become a manager. After having passed through several teams in the First Division, the FBF called, and Boquete made a step forward and decided to take on the monumentous task that is selecting the best this country has to offer and guiding them through their first ever international competition.

ASSISTANT COACH
Javi Medina
Age & Gender: 54, Man
Species: Llimanian
Birthplace: Prats de Lilvienna (Cebana)
Description: Javi Medina has never been a very fond football fanatic, but he is an old friend of Boquete, with whom a very strong friendship since they both studied at the University of Mekalanu, in Kekla. His long expertise in training all kinds of professional athletes is why Boquete has counted on him to assist him in matters regarding players' physical form and wellbeing.

THE DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF THE UNITED SOCIALIST STATES OF PRIDNESTROVIA
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL TEAM

The Democratic People's Republic of the United Socialist States of Pridnestrovia is a lot of things, but one thing it is not is tolerant of failure. Basil Santa Cruz was brought in to be the manager of the Pridnestrovian national football team in order to win the Copa Rushmori, and while he came very close in his first two attempts, everything else after that has been nothing but failure. The Pridnestrovian Football Union had had enough of this tomfoolery and decided to sack Santa Cruz and replace him with a manager who actually follows the classic Pridnestrovian footballing ethos of "defense wins."

STYLE OF PLAY / ESTILO DE JUEGO
Style Modifier: +0.93
Description: Being a defensive stalwart in his playing days, Casimiro Coro slowly reduced the attacking tendencies the national team had during their unpublicized matches. Thus, the mentality of the current squad is more of a balanced side with some semblance of aggressiveness and attacking mentality retained. Coro usually starts with a 4-2-3-1 with both Makarova and Osa acting as side midfielders but can shift as wingers since they can play those positions as well, transitioning to a 4-2-1-3 formation.

Karst Socialist Republic National Football Team

Facts

Nation Name: Karst Socialist Republic (KSR)
Short Names: Karst SR
Demonyms: Kranoskan; Ticenni (ethnic groups)
FA: Nogometna zveza Krasa (NZK) (‘Football Federation of the Karst’)
Colours: White, red, black
Anthem: ‘Partisans' March'
Capital City: Pjota
Other Major Cities: Repentabor, Kadore, Portoroz
Highest Domestic League: Krasliga
Nicknames: Nageljni (Carnations)
Style Modifier: +1

Manager: Danilo Zupanc

The Karst Socialist Republic enters international football for the first time! After the initial debut of the domestic league in IFCF competition, the NZK has decided to continue the experiment with an adventure into international football ahead of the 50th edition of the Copa Rushmori and the 101st edition of the World Cup. Danilo Zupanc has been selected to take charge of the team for its first campaigns - the extremely successful manager of Partizan Pjota, the country’s most successful club, has the task of building an identity for the new national team - at least on the pitch. For the Copa Rushmori specifically, only players who had received international clearance to play in the IFCF competitions were eligible for selection for the team, while the youth teams for the U20 and U17 tournaments will be made up entirely of members of the Partizan Pjota youth squad that played in the IFCF Rising Stars Cup. The NZS and the Ministry of National Defence will look to clear more players for international travel ahead of the World Cup. Zupanc himself is something of a pragmatic manager - with Partizan he plays a highly physical, aggressive attacking brand of football. With the national team, he will be able to bring some of that identity with him, but not all of it - the team is expected to line up in a 4-4-2 formation. It will play a physical brand of football but with more defensive responsibility than many of these players are used to - especially the wingers.

The Captina Company Football Agency

The Captina Company Football Agency (TCCFA) controls all levels of football in the nation, issuing licenses to groups wishing to form teams. The Captina Company Super League consists of 14 teams playing every opponent once between April & June then following a 2 month break, play every opponent again between September & November.

Captina Island return to play after they were snubbed for a Cup of Harmony berth following just missing out on second consecutive World Cup Finals berth, but will look to improve upon their first ever quarterfinal appearance in the last Copa Rushmori, where they lost on penalties to eventual champion Oberour Ar Moro.

STYLE: +1.9
Tactics: 4-3-3 Captina Island continues to be committed to a consistent practice of offensively oriented football while still maintaining the commitment to defense that is part of the nation’s sporting DNA.
Nickname: Rosso e Oro (Red & Gold) is the official designation, although there have been rare instances where “Peacocks” has been used in reference to the national animal; 'Peahens' was adapted for the Women's team that played in the Jenna Raven Cup 3 and later in Tea Cup 2.
All Time Record: 88 wins, 86 defeats, 45 draws (219 matches)
Current KPB+ ranking: 13.42 (50th)

Captina Island is the southernmost nation in Rushmore, made up of 6.3 million people of which approximately 31% are ethnic Captini--the native Polynesian type peoples who occupied the island prior to discovery--and 42% Italini, descendants of the settlers who arrived after 1922, with about 20% identifying themselves as mixed. The remainder are of other ethnic backgrounds and nationalities.

Captina Island thrives in all aspects of life thanks to the rigorous discipline of “The Plan” (officially known as The Captina Island National Community Operation Master Plan [CINCOMP]) which organizes the priorities, agenda, and the day to day running of proper society within the Armed Republic.

All economic affairs are controlled by the five major privately owned corporations that operate under the provisions of The Plan, holding exclusive license to conduct the nationwide administration of the following areas:

Captina National Organization (CNO)--Defense/Health & Medical/Education
State Economic Corporation (SEC)--Retail/Banking/Transportation/Technology
Industrial & Manufacturing Alliance (IMA)--Production/Raw Materials/Wholesale
The Captina Company (TCC)--Social/Entertainment/Utilities
Brandstadter Corporation Authority (BCA)--Food/Agriculture/Construction

Any remaining areas that would be under the control of a constituted government are handled by The Burkett Group, which is owned in equal shares by the five main corporations and a public ownership scheme funded by a 50 crown (about NS$10) per week deduction from the wages of all citizens. TBG functions as a bureaucratic administrative body, coordinating inter-company affairs in addition to providing the personnel for things like police/fire protection, vital statistics record keeping, public spaces maintenance, and other public services.

TBG operates from the National Capital District of Big Flint which has a population of 84,000, while the other corporations each have their own headquarters city, although they have nationwide operations; within each major city, the 'affiliated' companies have satellite offices to handle the daily business.

Tactics
Formation: 4-3-3
Style Mod: +2.5
In attack, Darmen will employ one of two tactics: the first involves the team playing down the flanks while the second is a possession oriented short-range passing style that closely resembles tiki-taka. The later tactic is normally only employed against weaker opponents or when Darmen has a multi-goal lead and involves connecting many passes together to slowly advance the ball towards the opponents 18-yard box. It is not uncommon for 30+ passes to be completed in the sequence, especially against weaker opponents.

Darmen's primary tactic however is a heavy emphasis on flank play, with the wide midfielders (also referred to as flankers in Darmen) being the linchpin of Darmen's attack. Upon gaining possession, Darmen will look to distribute the ball to one of the two wide midfielders as quickly as possible. After receiving the ball, the wide midfielders will look to advance the ball as far down the flanks as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, the forwards and the central midfielders will crash the box, hoping to be on the receiving end of the wide midfielder's cross. The wide midfielder (or sometimes even the fullback) on the opposite flank will linger behind waiting to collect the cross should it overshoot the box. While scoring via headers is the primary goal, a player may also look to score by volleying or half-volleying the ball if they're in open space. Should the first attempt at goal not be collected by the goalkeeper, Darmenis are more than willing to take advantage of the ensuing chaos in the box and poach a goal as well. If the wide midfielder's path forward down the flank is blocked, they are not averse to cutting inside and taking a shot on goal themselves.

Defensively, the defenders have one job... to defend. They rarely venture out of their own half, but if they do it will only be one of the fullbacks (see above). Darmen will employ zonal marking when facing the counter-attack and man marking in all other situations.

Team Roles
Captain: Markus Thomasson
Vice-Captain: Dwayne Loritz
Left Corner: Amias Shelby
Right Corner: Kara Falkner
Penalties: Torger Woodward
Free-kicks: Dwayne Loritz

Team Personality
The Darmeni team will never argue with the referee. Indeed, if anything needs to be brought to the attention of the referee it will be done by either the Captain or Vice-Captain in a respectful manner (or to the fourth-official by the Manager). With regards to foul/dirty play, the Darmeni team will not provoke, or retaliate against any opposition player. Darmeni's expect each team to keep to itself and deal with its own trouble makers; any opposition player who attempts to prevent a conflict by pushing or pulling a Darmeni away from the scene will be promptly told off, as that is the duty of the Darmeni Captain.

Nonetheless, Darmen will play in a relatively aggressive manner. Tackles will be conducted in a way which ensures the opponent ends up on the ground, but causing injury will be avoided as much as possible. On set pieces, Darmenis will stand their ground and will not be easily pushed around. However, they will not engage in hugging. In fact, if any opposing player tries to push past them, it is not uncommon for the Darmeni player to feign resistance before simply stepping aside and watching as the opposing player stumbles past on their way to ground. This occasionally backfires however, as the referee may mistake the incidence as having been a foul in the box.

(OOC: This RP continues a storyline that I started in the Independent Associations Championship. Thankfully I got eliminated there before the Copa Rushmori started because this actually feels like it would fit Pridnestrovia more because of the characters also being Pridnestrovian. The relevant parts can be found here and here.)

“What the fuck are you wearing, Rina?” Vyacheslav Klimov asked Gavrina Kumilyova as the two of them walked back from the lone civilian pier of Pridnestrovskaya Gavan to the small parking lot off to the side. Klimov was carrying his rod and tackle while Gavrina was hauling a cooler containing Klimov’s catch for the day, a favor that Klimov had asked for after Gavrina had agreed that neither of them (and the rest of their comrades in Company Alfa, for that matter) would cross paths during their respective furloughs from the Pridnestrovian Airborne Forces. Despite that, the friendship between Gavrina and Vyacheslav was deep enough that Klimov was willing to overlook the fact that she interrupted what was basically his own vacation time. But there was just something about Gavrina’s outfit which was completely incongruent with her surroundings that Klimov just had to call her out on it. “Seriously though, Gavrina, what in the world is that?” Klimov pressed. “Aren’t you a little overdressed for a trip to Prigava?”

“What, this thing?” Gavrina replied “It’s my turtleneck! You can’t tell me you haven’t seen me wearing this before. It’s my favorite! I wear it all the time.”

“Not with that coat and that skirt and those tights!” Klimov said back. “You fucking look like you’re the daughter or the mistress of an oligarch!”

“Fucker, you take that back!” Gavrina shouted. “I do not look like fucking Larisa Shevchuk!” Larisa Shevchuk was the daughter of the owner of the second largest bank in Pridnestrovia, and it was practically an open secret that she was in a relationship with the owner of the largest shipyard in the country. Aside from that though, Shevchuk had also become something of a fashion icon in Pridnestrovia, not a trendsetter but she was definitely someone whose looks lots of other women wanted to copy. That said, Gavrina Kumilyova was most definitely not one of those women.

“Well, you’re fucking dressed like her right now!” Klimov pointed out. Gavrina almost froze in her tracks as she looked down at her outfit and was forced to come to a reckoning. Am I going to have to go over all my clothes so that I don’t end up looking like that bitch the next time I go out? she asked herself.

“Slava, you can’t be serious!” Gavrina insisted. “I can’t possibly be looking like Shevchuk now, am I?”

“Look, if you were wearing only the sweater and the skirt and the tights, I probably wouldn’t have even said anything,” Klimov shrugged. “But then you showed up in that whole ensemble, and to top it all off, you’re wearing your coat like it’s a fucking cape! You don’t even have your arms in the sleeves, just like Shevchuk! So I had to say something because surely all this…” Klimov gestured at Gavrina once again. “...can’t have been by design, right? I mean, what look were you trying to go for here, Rina? You had to know that you were going to stick out like a sore thumb here in Prigava wearing that!”

“I, uh… I have no answer for that,” Gavrina admitted.

“Huh,” Klimov muttered. “Gavrina Vasilyevna Kumilyova left speechless. Just when I thought I’d seen everything…”

The two of them eventually arrived at the only car in the car park, a slate gray Moskvitch Aleko hatchback. The car looked well-used, and the layer of dust on the bottom half of the car suggested an owner that either didn’t look after it a lot or simply didn’t see the point of cleaning a car that he drove through roads that were less maintained than the main thoroughfares. “Just put the fish in the back,” Klimov said as he opened the Aleko’s rear hatch and put his fishing gear inside. Gavrina loaded the cooler beside the fishing rods, and then she closed the hatch and followed Klimov to the front of the car.

Gavrina took off her coat before she got into the passenger seat of the Aleko and she clipped on her seatbelt even as Klimov was already peeling out of the lot.

“So this is what you do whenever you drop off the face of the earth for one month, huh, Slava?” Gavrina asked. “You just go out here and fish?”

“What can I say, Rina? Sometimes I like to pretend like I never got into the VDV or even the Army in the first place,” Klimov shrugged. “Have you ever thought about what could have been, Gavrina? What could have been if those fucking Ixanians didn’t invade us a second time after our grandfathers already kicked their asses eighty, ninety years ago? Have you ever thought about what you could have been doing instead of being in the VDV? Because I have, and that’s the life that I like to pretend that I have whenever we’re all on furlough.”

“I have thought about it, Vyacheslav,” Gavrina replied after a few moments of thought. “I’ve thought about what I could have been doing right now if the war hadn’t happened, and to be honest, I’m not sure if it’s any better than what I have right now. In another world, I’d probably be a manager or a mid-level executive or something. Or maybe I would be one of those protesters claiming that the Armed Forces is taking up so much of the budget that could be going to the schools or the roads. I’d probably never have gone anywhere outside Pridnestrovia, and I definitely wouldn’t have the fate of a random security guard hanging over my head like Damocles’ fucking sword.”

“Well, you know who my family is, right?” Klimov asked in reply. “Specifically, you know who my uncle is. Without the war, I’d probably be a mid-level guy in his bank too. I’d still be stealing other people’s money, but in that alternate reality I’m doing it through computers and stocks, not guns. Huh, when you think about it, nothing’s really changed at all,” he trailed off. “Maybe I was always destined to steal other people’s money. I just ended up taking a different path to get there,” Klimov muttered, and Gavrina could tell that there was definitely a hint of disappointment in her friend’s voice.

“So, how did you end up getting your boat?” Gavrina asked in an attempt to change the subject. “It can’t have been cheap, even if it’s a little bit… used.”

“No, I bought that boat with my own money, if that’s what you’re actually asking,” Klimov replied almost immediately. “I know the military doesn’t pay us a lot, even if we’re VDV Spetsnaz, but I saved up my money and bought that boat all on my own. The place that I’m staying at, though, that’s another thing entirely.”

Klimov turned off the main highway and went down a smaller road that didn’t look like it had been paved recently. After going down that road for ten minutes, Klimov turned right down an even older path that led them deeper into the woods before finally ending at a large dacha seemingly hidden away from the rest of the world. Gavrina’s mouth fell open in surprise when she saw the dacha as it was definitely the last thing that she was expecting to see in this part of the country. “How did you get your hands on this dacha, Slava?” Gavrina finally managed to ask. “It’s almost as big as the one that Dad has in Slatsk!”

“For this, I had to take out a loan,” Klimov shrugged. “I mean, you can’t expect me to let Yelena and the kids live in that dingy motel I used to stay in right in the middle of Prigava when we got married, right?”

“Da, of course,” Gavrina nodded. “I can’t believe I forgot all about them. Speaking of which, how are Yelena and the kids?”

“You could ask them that yourself,” Klimov replied as the two of them got out of the Aleko. After he had retrieved the cooler with his catch from the back of the car, Klimov called out, “Tyomka! Andrushka! Auntie Rina is here!”

Gavrina felt like she had barely opened the door before she was swarmed by two young boys. “Whoa! Easy there, boys,” she said as she returned the embraces from Vyacheslav’s children. “You know I don’t like you jumping on me like that!”

“We missed you, Aunt Rina!” Artyom, the elder boy, said in reply. “It feels like we’ve never seen you outside of Dad’s costume parties!”

“Costume parties? What?” And then Gavrina remembered that Klimov had called things such the Victory Day parades and award ceremonies “costume parties” because of the pageantry (unneeded in his opinion) surrounding these events. “Oh, yes, of course,” she nodded her head. “How could I forget? It’s just that I’ve been busy so it’s hard for me to visit when I have the time.”

“Are you gonna be staying tonight, Aunt Rina?” Andrey, the younger boy, asked her next. “Artyom likes it when you stay with us.” This earned the boy a punch on the shoulder from his older brother, and Gavrina had to laugh at the exchange.

“I don’t know if I can, Andrey,” Gavrina replied with a shrug. “I was only going to talk to your father about something work-related.”

“Gavrina Vasilyevna!” a female voice called out. It was Vyacheslav’s wife, Yelena Abashina. “I wasn’t expecting to see you, but I’m so happy you came anyway!”

“I wasn’t expecting to be here too, Yelena Nikolayevna,” Gavrina replied, and then the two of them kissed each other on the cheek. “How’s the baby girl?” she asked, gesturing at the baby in Yelena’s arms.

“Oh, you know, the usual,” Yelena shrugged. “She’s keeping us up late at night. You would think that after three kids, both of us would know what to expect but we still get caught out once or twice!”

“Have you thought of a name already?”

Yelena leaned closer to Gavrina and whispered, “Slava’s never going to say this to your face, but he’s seriously considering naming her after you. Well, not really, but Slava wants to name her Halyna. I think you understand why he doesn’t want to talk to you about it.”

“Are you kidding me, Yelena? Of course I’d be honored!” Gavrina replied. “Neither you nor Slava need permission from me to name your little girl! You two can call her whatever you want! And if you want to name her after me then that’s fine!”

Behind the women, Vyacheslav’s boys had now turned their attention to their father. “Hey Dad, did you catch any sharks today?” Artyom asked.

“Tyoma, I already told you many times before, sharks can’t swim here in Pavola!” Vyacheslav replied with the tired smile of a man who knew that he was going to go through this same conversation time and time again. “The waters here are too cold for sharks, and even if one got lost and ended up here, I would need a bigger rod just to catch him! Now, is anyone looking forward to some grilled halibut?”

“But Dad! It’s the third time we’ve had halibut!” Artyom said.

“I want chicken nuggets!” Andrey added.

“Didn’t you like the fish nuggets I made for you back then?” Vyacheslav asked. “Okay, I’ll try to change it up tomorrow. But I need to get the fish into the kitchen, or else we’re all not going to have any dinner!” As he made his way deeper into the house, he called out to Gavrina, “Hey, can you help me with the cooking?”

“Um, what?” Gavrina said in surprise. “Slava, you know that I can’t cook!”

“I’ll help you through it, Rina,” Vyacheslav assured her. “I just need some extra hands in the kitchen.”

“All right, fine,” Gavrina muttered, and then she followed Klimov to the kitchen. “So, what do you need help with, man?” she asked once both of them were inside.

“Actually, that’s just a reason for me to get you in here,” Klimov said in a lower tone.

“Oh,” Gavrina muttered. “Should I close the door or something?”

“No need,” Vyacheslav shook his head. “Yelena knows what’s up.”

“All right, Slava, is there anything that you wanted to say to me?” Gavrina asked as she watched Klimov take a halibut out of the cooler and lay it out on the counter.

“I’ve been making a few inquiries of my own, Rina,” Vyacheslav said as he took out a knife and began filleting the halibut with practiced ease. “Do you remember my cousin Vitaly? The former basketball player?”

“The really tall one who couldn’t get a rebound to save his life? Da, I remember him,” Gavrina nodded. “What about him?”

“Well, after basketball, Vitaly Ivanovich decided to make a career shift,” Vyacheslav said. “Guess where he ended up?”

Gavrina went silent as she considered the possibilities before she came to a shocking realization. “You’re kidding me,” she said. “No way! There’s no way Vitaly ended up there!”

“Trust me, I couldn’t believe it too when I first heard about it,” Vyacheslav assured her. “But it’s true. Cousin Vitaly is now with Zimmer, and he’s told me some crazy shit!”

“Crazier than fucking Cyclone asking a VDV Spetsnaz team to kidnap a random security guard?!” Gavrina asked incredulously.

“Believe it or not, what Vitaly told me is actually connected to that shit,” Vyacheslav nodded. “All I wanted to do was ask about that guard, all right? I didn’t think I was going to find out anything else. But Vitaly, well, he’s not the sharpest tool in the shed, and he’s also very talkative once you get him going. So I tried to ask him about a new guy who showed up at his unit who doesn’t speak a lick of Russian, and guess what? The bastard actually said yes. Vitaly said that fucking Cyclone himself brought with him a guy who was bagged and tagged and had his own room in the barracks. But nobody else aside from Cyclone was supposed to speak to him, so no one really knows where the fuck this new guy came from.”

“So you mean to tell me that Nicholas Courbet is somewhere in Estorvipa and Estorpiva right now?” Gavrina asked incredulously. “Well, Mironchenko did say that he wasn’t dead but he might as well wish he was. But what was the other thing Vitaly told you that’s apparently connected to the snatch and grab in Recuecn?”

“Well, you know that Zimmer op that our own snatch and grab was in support of? Turns out it was also a robbery,” Vyacheslav said. “But it’s not just any old robbery. No, the Zimmerites were after gold. Like, literal gold reserves. Vitaly told me that he heard that Cyclone and Arkan and their squad made off with at least a billion NSD’s worth of gold. They didn’t take all the gold in the bank—that would have been impossible—but they got a billion dollars’ worth of it. That’s a thousand trillion rubles, Gavrina! God only knows what the Zimmerites need with that kind of money.”

“You’re kidding me, right?” Gavrina muttered. “They were actually serious about taking the gold? Didn’t the KGB guy who gave us the blueprints for la Tour Visp say something about gold?”

“Only because you asked him about it,” Vyacheslav said. “Have you forgotten about that?”

“Wait, did I? God, I really must have forgotten about that,” Gavrina muttered while shaking her head. “My God, how the fuck did we end up in this position? Vyacheslav, I have to be honest with you. Like, really honest with you. I went to talk to you because a few days ago, Valentin Mironchenko went to talk to me. He wanted me to give you your cut of the money from the Recuecn op because he told me that you were going to kill him if he went here to make you take the money.”

“And he’s right, I would,” Vyacheslav said with conviction. “I don’t fucking care if he’s Ivan bloody Radchenko’s right hand man! This is my home, and I’m going to protect it however I want to protect it. And I’m not going to take his money, not even if you’re the one offering it to me, Rina. So if you’re still here to try to talk me into taking the money, just save your breath. You know what my answer will be.”

“I know, Slava, and that’s why I’m not even going to bother,” Gavrina conceded. “But after everything you’ve just told me that you heard from your cousin, clearly that’s no longer the biggest problem we have. I don’t know why I’m saying this, Vyacheslav, but something tells me that we need to know why Zimmer stole all that gold.”

“Well, what do you want me to do?” Vyacheslav asked. “I know that Vitaly is dumb as rocks, but even he’s gonna know that something is up if I ask him about the gold that Zimmer stole from Recuecn. Not that he probably actually knows anything about that shit but still, that’s the kind of thing you don’t just ask about with anyone, not even your cousin.”

“I know, Slava,” Gavrina repeated herself. “But I might know someone who can actually do that. Someone who won’t raise as much suspicion compared to either one of us doing it.”

Somewhere off-shore of Kynetbo, southern Bonusia, 459
The Vàzquez family were sea merchants. They traded almost since they established in the old Op, and even after the guild fail due to the betterment of inland transportation, they went into cargo trading instead, buying big and sturdy ships and hundreds of trailers that travelled from Tarraconova to Et, and beyond. With this strategy, these vivid Opiaces made cash flow into them, and they became one of the most rich and influential families in Bonusia.

Despite their richness, the youngsters of the family used to travel with the crews across the sea. After all, they all were tied to their seafaring past, and the more established family members thought it was good for the future heads of the Vàzquez, to understand where do they come from. However, not all the youngsters were searching this transformative experience. Specially not one youngster in particular. Roger Vàzquez, as a son of the first-born of his grandfather, had been taught since he was a kid all the secrets of the guild, in hopes of one day leading the family enterprise alongside his siblings. Sadly, Roger was certainly not fond of nor interested in anything their family valued. He hated boats, wasn't good with numbers, and he got sea sickness all the time.

Certainly, all these factors made him really not fond of the merchant experience. Stay on board of a boat for weeks, then getting to a port, leaving cargo, getting more cargo, and then do the same again and again... No, that was not his life. He was born for something more meaningful than that, he believed. As a kid, his tutors always said that he was extremely charismatic, well-spoken and creative, that some day he could be a great journalist or politician. However, the family had one idea for him, and one idea only. He was to be the future of the Velàzquez, and his inability or unwillingness to do so meant that he became the dark sheep of the family.

As he was wondering about these and other questions, his ship captain, Momba Belakanu, came to speak to him. Despite how different they both were, Roger considered that man as his only friend in that goddamned ship. He knew that Roger wasn't happy sailing, and the captain, in his own strange way, tried to cheer him up.

(Momba): -Hey, cheer up, man! We're getting to Kynetbo soon. The big city man!
(Roger): -You sound like a small town boy man, you're Opiace.
(Momba): -Well ain't Kynetbo bigger after all? It's the big city by definition!
(Roger): -Nevermind...
(Momba): -Come on! How could I cheer you up mate?
(Roger): -Mayhaps sinking this ship? I wouldn't need to sail anymore.
(Momba): -Sorry kid, but that's impossible. A typhoon will eat us before I sink this ship I guarantee you.

All of a sudden, the ship started trembling above the water. Alerted, the captain and the forced sailor went outside, to see the biggest example of why you should be careful when choosing one's words. The ship was directed to what seemed to be, in the beggining, a whirlpool in the middle of the ocean. However, the water opened like it once did in the old tales of the Christians, and an evergrowing circle consumed the area. Without margin to maneuver, the big ship was absorbed into the big circle aswell. But as every member of the crew expected a free-fall, the ship appeared to defy all laws of physics and, instead, sticked to the edge and turned upside down on the other side...

Well, did it? In a way, but they were certainly not upside down. They were perfectly fine, actually, as if they didn't enter a giant whirlpool bare moments ago. However, two things reassured the crew of the factualness of it all: Firstly, the hole was still there, although it certainly stopped growing; and secondly, unrecognizable lands laid in front of them. Too close aswell, as the big ship stalled in the low waters surrounding it. Slowly but steadily, the sailors left the ship and made their way into seemingly virgin lands. How come these islands were ignored byearthlings and by the old Bonusians during hundreds of years?

Roger, as he made his way to land, wondered in which situation they actually were. Perhaps this was greater than it originally seemed, and maybe in fact he was upon a great opportunity, if he managed to take it.

Style of play

Deriving from the fast-flowing and powerful river that dominates the nation, Kwrpan football aims to be equally rapid – players will most often look to get their head up and drive forward as quickly as possible. Kwrpan fullbacks are especially a point of pride – a truly rigorous developmental process creates the stamina required to make overlapping runs dozens of times per game while still maintaining defensive duties - but Kwrpan players are extremely positionally flexible, and generally capable of playing across their entire line. Kwrpan fans have little patience for defensive football – while some managers have seen success in the Bright League with more pragmatic strategies in the past, fans have repeatedly made clear that they would rather lose 4-3 than win 1-0. This leaves Kwrpan teams extremely exposed on the counter-attack, especially against higher-level opposition.

Dobgazoz-bof (23W 12D 11L +11 GD) has made a point of implementing this style, with the Electric Eels teams of World Cup 99 showing absolute fearlessness in the attack throughout qualifying and then at the finals, and the team's run during World Cup 100 going down as one of the greatest stories in not only Kwrpan but perhaps multiversal football. With a disappointing performance in the last Copa Rushmori, exiting in the group stage, expectations will be much higher as Kwrpania plays yet more games at home in an international tournament.
