FUCK ISRAEL! I support peace, therefore I stand with Palestine. I want a bi-national solution, a state in which Jews and Palestinians can coexist peacefully. The onus is on Israel to stop this - it can do it anytime by bringing a ceasefire and ending apartheid.

What the Hell is this?

The US healthcare is already bad enough. This looks like it’s making it even worse.

Patients should not have to pay money to use a fucking ambulance.

Sure it is.

What thy should do is respect the will of the people and the peaceful transfer of power.

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

57 percent of the people wanted Spanberger as governor and she carried with her the Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General candidate. Her party gained 13 seats in the legislature. By any definition that's a landslide. What right does the outgoing governor have to sabotage that?

Popularity is irrelevant, it doesn't matter if someone gets 99% of the vote, if their positions are abhorrent it's good and correct to oppose them.

No we don't you simply don't like democracy or people having the audacity to vote for people you don't like.

Abhorrent to you. The outgoing governor has no right to obstruct the peaceful transfer of power from a free and fair election.

If you had your way there would never be a peaceful transfer of power if someone with opposing views somehow overcome the unfair undemocratic system you had in place.

On the unrelated topic of American politics, the House Ethics Committee has concluded that there is substantial evidence that ex-Representative Matt Gaetz, Donald Trump's top pick for AG, raped a child in 2017, and in various other ways violated House rules and standards of conduct and state and federal laws, including hiring prostitutes and using illegal drugs.

The House concluded this last year, though, even if Gaetz should be in jail.

The report was actually released during the final days of the Biden admin

So it seems the strategy of baiting him into resigning his seat with a cabinet nomination paid off. No impeachment, no spectacle of endless ethics hearings, just swept it under the rug and gave (yet another) sex offender a cushy retirement.

Let's wait and see if they're actually guilty first. Yes, there's been fraud, and the Somails that are guilty should be punished and deported, but I have trouble seeing it as mere coincidence that the Justice Department and Trump's compliant press( a lot of this started on Right Wing news sites) only started focusing more on this after Trump's tirades against Somails. Still less when we consider that these investigations have been going for three years and the ringleader wasn't Somail at all but a white Minnesotan who funneled these funds into Somail-American communities.

Humble Opinion:

It's frustrating how people are still calling Trumps political philosophy unprecedented/strange even though that what we would call Trumpism was arguably the guiding doctrine of the Republican Party from 1896 to the beginning of the Cold War.

That's his slogan (that he hijacked from Reagan), not his political philosophy.
