23 Inquisitors Invade New Welgard

The Radiant Inquisition of Perdition is proud to support our allies in The League's Defense Forces, as well as all other partners involved in conquering New Welgard. The target region is a colonial possession of Kaiserreich, secured with support from Montealba. They abstained from creating an embassy with the home region in the hopes it would go unnoticed, but they are not so lucky.

An organizational record of 23 Inquisitors deployed at-update for this invasion on short notice, contributing to the overall invasion of 72 updaters - the largest offensive jump of 2025. We look forward to the prompt delivery of New Welgard to joint allied control.

As part of this operation, with the consent of the Strategos, Saint Asperes and Mar Teret are hereby promoted to Pentarche. Heavens Reach is promoted from Apprentice to a full Inquisitor for completing the operation.

N-Day XIII Statement & Recognitions

As a preface, this release will cover Perdition’s perspective on the event and our members’ prominent roles during N-Day. I would like to thank all the regions and groups which either aided in the founding of SPEAR, or later joined, and their leaders for their efforts to make the alliance as strong as it was. I encourage member regions to post their own releases on the event.

Domestic Recognitions

I will start with the obvious: SPEAR does not exist without Ostrovskiy. The decision to create our own faction was encouraged and taken by him with my assent, and he conducted nearly all of the outreach to create the faction. It was a driven and impressive display of leadership and Ostrovskiy should be proud of it here.

South Petronellania and Heavens Reach were also key contributors from Perdition, both being promoted to our lower command group in the course of the event. Heavens Reach was essential to “crowd control” efforts throughout the event, and South Petronellania was an energetic and crucial part of our shielding efforts.

It would be a shortcoming to not also mention Haitianstates/Numero Capitan. While he joined through the Horsemen, as a high-ranking Perditian he contributed extensively in command and was one of the faction’s most efficient strikers - and the highest-performing offensive player from Perdition.

The monarchy would additionally like to thank Wolflandil, Mar Teret, Saint Asperes, Etarria, Doge Republics, Croblade, 2sara, 0cala, Englandera, Bjornifjordaland, and Bassyria for participating in SPEAR through Perdition, as well as any other natives to the region who contributed to the faction.

I apologize if I have missed anybody from this list who contributed throughout the event, I myself was also engaged throughout and may have missed some occurrences in the server.

Performance and Victory Over ANAL’s Coalition

The twice-yearly nuclear war has concluded, with the Plains of Perdition participating in Supreme Powers Eviscerating All Rivals as a founding member. We finished in second place with an overall score of 737,621, vastly outperforming anyone beneath us in the leaderboard. Additionally, we crushed the all-time record for shield interceptions in any N-Day event with 3,727,381 -- far beyond double what anyone else could achieve during the present conflict.

Despite a multi-faction attempt to attack us immediately, we had the strongest performance of any faction. ANAL and their proxy factions YoDA and Starlight Brigade instigated a conflict that proved to be a resounding failure for all three. Despite their assault lasting roughly fifteen hours we repelled their attempts and our counter-offensives rendered those three factions impotent. Later making a non-aggression pact with the JEFF faction, we continued crushing the YoDA organization through the end of the event, pushing them further down the leaderboard.

The regional unit is the key element of proper gameplay. This truth extends to the N-Day event, and it was prudent that Perdition participate in a faction that was tailored to the interests of our community. We were happy to have organized a faction which included some of our closest allies abroad, and thank them all for their contributions to SPEAR.

Additionally I would like to congratulate JEFF on their first-place finish in the event. While SPEAR had entered the event considering the potential for conflict with JEFF and made several preparations to wage that conflict effectively, our command was of the consensus that a JEFF victory was preferable to ANAL in every circumstance. With ANAL waging a war of aggression against SPEAR for much of the event alongside their proxies, it became clear that a war with JEFF would be pointless. We could have sparred, sure, though I think neither faction would have changed in their leaderboard placement. There was no point to engaging in that exercise for spectators when we could instead spend the remainder of the event keeping factions that we actually considered enemies in the dirt, and so we did.

While ANAL does include some regions we consider friendly, it is ostensibly the faction most invaders gravitate to. YoDA included the New Pacific Order, the region which remorselessly sought to coup our Sister Sinker earlier this year. Both of these created a distinct interest in prioritizing their demise, and we were greatly successful to this end despite their aggression and first ANAL surrendered around 11:00 EST in the conflict, YoDA soon thereafter followed, with one member of theirs citing ANAL’s surrender as a key reason for their own capitulation. A final strike by their remnants towards the end of the event was a failure, only serving to further grow our interceptions record.

The agreement with JEFF, dubbed “the exclusive hunting rights treaty” by a SPEAR leader, allowed us to comfortably finish with a highly successful standing. While first place would always be most desirable, that it was secured by a faction of regions we are broadly friendly with, or allied to, was an outcome we found satisfactory.

Congratulations to all Perditians and SPEAR members at large for such an admirable performance and result. Glory to the light!

We’re hungry. The Radiant Inquisition of Perdition, The West Pacific Armed Forces, and The Outback Bushrangers have helmed an independent coalition to conquer Arselia from the feeble armies of Kantrias. We thank our allies in Talonia, The Land of Kings and Emperors, Balder, The North Pacific, Vibonia, and, uh, Chacapoya for joining the latest demonstration of a modern, dominant independence.

Arselia’s original natives were nuisances and troublemakers, earning the ire of moderation (for impersonating yours truly) and poaching from our allies. The region was couped by Where The Bong Trees Grow in August, and that nation, alongside their two Consuls, has consolidated control since - expelling opposition and seeking the Governorship.

Where The Bong Trees Grow is an asset of the heretic Raider Unity cult, as are their co-conspirators in taking Arselia. Specifically, these interlopers are led by Kantrias. Left impotent on the battlefield, they have redirected themselves to this effort, which began about three months ago. They’ve indeed put some remarkable effort into building Arselia. Its two WA endorsements during their infiltration are double that which Kantrias has natively…

The lead nation present was a World Assembly member in the Wellspring, travelling between potential target Frontiers for some time prior, and resigned that status mere days after the Wellspring initiated their initial Governor transition last year. They have a demonstrable understanding of update mechanics, repelling attempts by the original natives to retake the region.

There is no reason to return this region to its original inhabitants given their conduct and that they have been deposed for so long. Therefore, the region is now under our joint occupation headed by the Inquisition's Seraph Nolrem, using a sleeper nation.

You’ve gotten sloppy. We can only assume in the aftermath of successive, brutal, recordbreaking liberation losses that you have returned to the shadows to sneak victories from the conquest of smaller Frontiers. Maybe you’ll get lucky and win one or two. Not today, though.

We are modern independence, unshackled by dependence on invaders, and we will hunt you down in every corner of the world.
