The Valanora Footballing Association proudly presents the sixtieth edition of the Di Bradini Cup, the twenty-eighth edition of which to be held in the Valanora. Recognized as direct successor to the original Under-21 World Cup run by Total n Utter Insanity, this is also the 81st Under-21 World Cup.

This tournament is named after Starblaydia's most-famous player, the first person to score for Starblaydia's own Under-21s, currently the fifth-highest goalscorer in Starblaydia's history, World Cup Winner, member of the World Cup Hall of Fame and one-time President of the World Cup Committee: Simeone Di Bradini. We present, for your participation: The 60th Di Bradini Cup, a.k.a. The 81st Under-21 World Cup!

To sign up for the tournament, a roster must be posted as your entry. After August 2nd, you may simply sign up Reserve posts or pure signup posts will be ignored before the acceptance date. A maximum of two entrants from a single user is allowed, with any puppet needing to be declared upon their signing up for the tournament.

Tactics:
Consolación Regina has been instructed to retain the slightly aggressive 3-5-2 formation the senior squad uses in order to build familiarity and consistency from the U-21 squad to the senior squad. This formation is intended to maximize the wingbacks' strengths without neutralizing the rest of the team's impact. The young wingbacks' stamina allows them to go forward and cautiously assist in attack to create goal-scoring chances while still being able to get back and provide numbers to stop opposition scoring opportunities. Meanwhile, the Centerbacks, Central Midfielders and Forwards create a solid pillar through the heart of the pitch that is intended to both be an alternative route to goal scoring and a multi layered obstruction to the opponents.

Taxhavn is a crowded island of 21.4 million people, and most of them are billionaires. There are a few poor millionaires in the north of the island, and a few trillionaires who reside very much in the south. In the east is a big mountain, with a handful of zen masters who have rejected the silver dollar and reside in harmony with nature and their solid gold and diamond-encrusted buddha statues ('buddha' is a corruption of the word 'Búa', the principle deity of Wight). The mountain is called Mount Schilling.

I have probably exaggerated about the number of billionaires, but you get the picture - Taxhavn. I almost guarantee every rotten banker in your country has a second home in St. Bernadine or Oranjestadt or Havn, and some unnumbered accounts in the Oroboros or Sept-Nat or Stadler banks. They might not admit it, but they do. Taxhavn is an island built on piles of money, with launderettes on every corner just washing banknotes 24/7. And recently, lavish spending on football, which - turns out - is a brilliant way to flush through some of those ill-gotten gains.

Determinded to attract the brightest stars and the greatest success to the domestic SteuerLig, the Taxhavn football authority FA-Tax encouraged clubs into spending vast fortunes doling out pension funds to over-the-hill former football stars of the multiverse, and snapping up doe-eyed youths too with insane salary offers and fast cars for 12-year-olds. They aren't so worried about dominating world football - although that would be nice - as making sure they overpay for everything and get that cash rinsed good and proper.

Next on the list was a national team to reward the increasingly frustrated local professionals who are having to fight for their places with a bunch of incomers after better incomes. 'The Shillingmen' are the isle's finest players. And there are actually some good ones, to be fair. After all, thanks to a very close - some might say too close - relationship with the Valley of the River Delte, where a World Cup and an Independents Championship went back in the day, two of them played in the famous final victory over Tumbra in '95. That's right. Taxhavnites have World Cup winners medals.

The Taxhavn national team enters junior football for the first time as FA-Tax try to 'grow the brand', 'export the product', 'invest vigorously' and a whole bunch of other business strategies that don't appear to have much to do with actual football, so far as anyone can tell. They are building a national football centre on nearby von Arnold Island 'to create a root and branch tactical identity', and have come up with a new set of nicknames following a ₸X4m (Tax Shillings) contract with a marketing company and the senior team are now called The Shillingmen, 'creating a label Taxhavnites can get behind with their famous pecuniary passion'. I could've given them that one for free. But what this all means is, they are quite serious about international football now.

Construction of a the national football centre on von Arnold Island, just outside the capital St. Bernadine in St. Bernadine Bay, is not finished yet - there's the small matter of building a bridge so you can get on the island without a helicopter - but FA-TAx has pressed ahead with it's junior team plans for this cycle regardless.

FA-Tax presents to you 'The Dimes', the elder third of it's junior cohort of the best young players in Taxhavn. (Coming soon to tournaments near you - 'The Centimes' under-18 team; and the 'The Halfpenny Bits' under-15s (they're so tiny!)).

Quebeçois former national team coach Bradley Kemerer-Lascelles and Wightling Director of Strategy & Tactics Climo Coss - who won the World Cup with Wight and Delte - were heavily involved in the national football centre project and helped to select and develop the plans for the junior teams, and they poached highly-rated talent-developer Jaquot Béliveau to run the under-21 programme. He takes former 1860 Delénacht senior coach Jost Wittendorf with him to Valanora for the first introduction to world football at Under-21.

The target for Béliveau, Wittendorf and the Dimes might've been simply at this stage to not get humiliated, which was the brief for the other age groups entering competition for the first time. However, following the second consecutive humiliation of the senior team at the Indies, with the recently completed IAC-23, FA-Tax have stated this group is involved in a play-in for the next IAC, as there will be a real shake-up in the seniors.

Qualification out of the group would be nice and will earn the players an eye-watering bonus that really shouldn't be placed in the hands of a youngster, but, you know... because Taxhavn, and all that. Anything beyond is a sure fire way to knock on the door of the Shillingmen, the senior national team.

Number Crunchers
The Ones To Watch

The team features a number of players just beginning to make their mark in the SteuerLig, including these four youngsters who are on their way to becoming household names in Taxhavnite football. Yet others to keep an eye out for will be young wonderkid Adam Foliot; creative forward Aäron Lemmens, and commanding centre-half Hermannus de Hane. But first, the four we think will make the greatest impression on this tournament, from a Taxhavn perspective.

Goalkeepers

Maerten van Ghent (Vice Captain)
He's so tall! So very tall! Coming through the development team at Orchideeën, Maerten is set to become second choice keeper at The Nurserymen this coming season behind his brother Geo, a remarkable achievement for someone so young at that position. As noted elsewhere there is a consensus of opinion that Taxhavn is well stocked in promising keepers at all levels of the game right now, but thanks to his rapid rise at Plantation Field Maerten will be head and shoulders - quite literally - above some of his rivals. In the senior team, the established first choice keeper Barnaby Flexney is only 25 himself, while brother Geo is 23, so Maerten might have a long, long wait to win that shirt. But then again - Barnaby had a nightmare in Reçueçn in the last Indies, and head coach Nelis Fijnwever has been instructed to shake things up next time around - what better opportunity will Maerten get to stake a claim that position?

Defence

Ryan Deramount
The left back comes into a national team age group for the first time after making a real splash at his club, second tier Sturm Havn. He's already first choice in their defensive line and the most remarkable thing about him is speed. This is one of the fastest young players on the island already, comparable to olympic athletes over 100 metres and with good positional sense to match. He will need to build up his strength, being quite slightly built, but so far that has not stopped his remarkable rise in SteuerLig football, earning him a fully-deserved place in the under-21 Dimes team. Unless Sturm Havn can get promotion back to the top flight in the coming domestic season, he'll surely be moving on to a bigger club soon, and there was a rumour Septentriennes were in for him in the last window but failed to get the deal over the line. They'll be back, most likely.

Midfield

Alfie Tyndall
One of the younger team members, the Benson Foxes defensive midfielder has caught they eye as he moves up from the national team under-18s and is already an important player for the Hightails in the SteuerLig. This is a player who could well go on to be one of the greats for his country, although the national team so far has been very disappointing at senior level. That is part of the reason for the introduction of the SoccerLand project and by all accounts Alfie has lit up the establishment from when he first arrived, a strong character, a captain in the dressing room and out on the field, highly regarded by his team mates and by the seniors as well as the staff at SoccerLand. This tournament could propel him to a household name status on the isle of Taxhavn. On the field Alfie is a terrier, a small one with a big heart, a big bark and a bite to match, who will never stop running. He's brilliant at breaking up play and frightening the bejesu out of much bigger opponents, and his only weakness might be his 'enthusiasm' - or discipline, by any other measure.

Strikers

Quinten van Raalte
The younger of Kierhuizen Boys super hot young strike duo, along with Rinus van de Haar who joins him in the Dimes squad. They have a great understanding having come through the Boys youth set up together and it was a smart move on coach Béliveau's part to select them both as starting forwards for the under-21 set-up. Where Rinus van de Haar is strong, aggressive, holds up play and creates as many assists as he does goals, Quinten is a pocket rocket, a super fast thrusting front-facing striker who loves to run at defenders, turn them this way and that, and release thunderous shots from tight spaces with little backlift required. He's the perfect poacher and a pain in the keeper's backside when trying to play out from the back, chasing down endlessly like a terrier for the full ninety minutes and more - he's absolutely tireless. Won't give away many passes because he doesn't pass much - that's ok for his club partner Rinus, but other team-mates might get a bit frustrated with him.

The United Autonomous Provinces of the Visayas Islands, commonly called Visayas Islands, is a federal parliamentary constitutional monarchy nation in the Asian part of the Island Of Union. The Visayas Islands covers 71,503 square kilometers and has has an estimated population of 21,155,014. The Visayas Islands comprises of 15 autonomous provinces, 3 autonomous provincial districts, a metropolitan district, 6 major islands, an autonomous independent state, and 3 disputed territories.

Sports have been popular with the Visayans to young and old but football is one of the most popular sports in the Islands beside basketball, volleyball, and boxing. It was first brought by the British in mid-1890s when the first wave of European immigration to Visayas happened. It was loved by everyone and even wholeheartedly supported the football team since the 1934 Far Eastern Games. And still is the most popular sport in all over Visayas Islands ever since.

After the match, the team went to the fans and sing together a patriotic ballad called, "Visayas". It was written by Ramiro Enríquez, a schoolteacher and a composer in Antique, whose song gave it to the late Jacinto "Jas" Narvaja, who gave life to the song. It wasn't intended to have that in the first but whem Nonoy Zarzuela sang the opening lines, the whole crowd joining in, it goes to basketball and until now, every sport as a post-match victory song.

Keep An Eye On:
Benzor NORSEDEN
He was just 15 years old when he entered the 99th World Cup on the Edsmon squad, yet he proved to be a strong opponent.
Very tall and muscular compared to others at his age level, Benzor was able to directly compete with senior attackers that were even double his age.
Now 16 years old, Norseden enters the U21 WC to fight with Edsmontik until they reach their end.
Norseden falls back a lot and does his best to intimidate his opponents.
He is quick on his feet and is very hard to nutmeg.
However, his focus can be his enemy, as he can stumble when his eyes are too concentrated on his opponent.

Football is the by far most popular sport in Tikariot. The Tikariot Premier League is the highest tier of the Tikariotian football pyramid and is one of the most competitive leagues in the multiverse. Tikariot is part of the Rushmorean sub-region of Pavola and with eleven World Cup participations, including third places at World Cups 97 and 99, as well as three Copa Rushmori victories.

The fans of the Snowy Owls, called the Dark Tide, also deserve particular mention. Not only are they renowned for their chants, but they are also bringing the Thunder Clap (Click here for example) to the stadium, something that the players join in as a pre-game ritual that has left an impression on the opponents and opposing fans more than once (OOC: similar to the Haka of the New Zealand All Blacks). The players will form a triangle near the kick-off circle and lift their arms, which the fans do as well. Then a lone drum will start to signal the rhythm and both players and fans alike will move in unison, each clap accompanied by a loud cry, the claps (and cries) speeding up, creating an overwhelming sense of impending doom.

Ragnvald Fjällström - 60

Having been a coach in the Tikariotian football system for over three decades, Fjällström is a man of few words but when he talks, players, and people listen. He has been propagating Tikariot's flexible 4-3-3. The U21 is a difficult age group and he has been one of the most patient coaches in the system.

Manager

Having Marlon Ortega as the head manager for the Young Turtles was in equal parts a surprise and a logical choice. It came a bit out of the blue as Ortega has not taken on an official role in football in the last four years. But the man is a legend in his field: under his command, the Oakling Sharks youth hardly could be beaten. Reaching the knock-outs in the U18 World Cup convinced the FA that they have made the right choice: this man should build and strengthen our national youth pyramid. Ortega is a man who at first sight stands for strict discipline and drilling but those who worked under him tell there is a fatherly side to him: maybe the latter will come out a bit more as he ages. We can expect a rather classical 4-2-3-1 from him, which should create some triangles lower down the field.

Goalkeepers

1. Adam Chakir (Mount Bleak Ironheads, 21)
12. Rhys Pierce (Bridgehead Mavericks, 18)

Two names with clear numbers on their backs but hesitations with regards to the order of things. As it stands, it seems that Adam Chakir will start the opening match. In his rookie year as first goalkeeper of the Ironheads, Chakir showed his potential but also had moments of complete disaster. He is given further faith by his club (and Ortega, apparently) but will need to show that he learned from it. This opens up a window for Rhys Pierce, the U18 goalkeeper who is second goalie for the Mavericks (who finished second place last year). Those in the know claim it is just a matter of a time before he surpasses starter Hoehn. Some believe this will also be the case here, but his crucial mistake in the U18 WC Ro16 against Captina might come back to haunt him. A difficult choice especially as they are different types: Pierce stands out with his reflexes, Chakir can rely on his better feet.

One of the most familiar names with the Premier League fans will undoubtedly be Yoan Jaffrenou, one of six ‘permitted’ (recent migrants without an Anewkansan passport, but with a ‘players permit’) in the selection. Although the Cowboys are among the weakest clubs in the competition, their star left-back has the whole deal: smart positioning, great rushes and excellent crosses. His fellow Turtle on the opposite wing, Titan Ali, has similar characteristics: together they should form a crucial engine to the way the U18 played. For the U21, Ortega seems to bring in a little more prudency with Leif Ingram, who at times played as a central defender. In the center, Jonathan Quinn is the star and captain, member of Armada’s infamous Quinn family. He gets paired with promising but sometimes too risky Resha. On the bench, we see a short but energetic left back in Cline and physical (but a bit slow) Fedor Vorona.

The Turtles tend to rely on a very physical, even nasty defensive midfield and their understudies are no stranger to that either. Ensuring the balance in the line-up, there are Carson Decker and Montague Doherty. The former just popped out of the youth ranks of Armada but already gained a bit of notoriety as a tireless chaser of star midfielders. The latter will be the lungs of the team: his VO2 max is rumoured to be legendary and in his spare time he completed a half Ironman in a respectable time. This duo patrolling the region, with stamina train Hirkan as reserve lungs, should open up opportunities for the quartet in front of them. The linchpin of the line-up should be Salvador Guerra. Last season he already won quite some minutes with champions Sporting Sixth and this year he is a starter for them: breaking into such a competitive line-up tells you everything. He’s not the most artistic but a clever and efficient number ten. The short but genius Wageniers will be his stand-in. On the wings, Ortega relies on Ridgeway and Gregory. Alan Ridgeway is a lively winger with a great sense of timing. Watch out for him, especially when he seems to disappear from the game. On the opposite side, Gregory is a bit of a surprise choice: he usually acts on the right side but as he moves inside, he opens up space for Jaffrenou. Back-up Tripilis can play that same role or act as a second striker outright.

Attackers

One attacker up front and then the choice fell to Lemar Philips, the only player in the selection who already made an appearance for the actual Turtles. Last year, Philips had a breakthrough season. He is fast, especially in the first meters, and efficient in front of goal. After his meteoric rise, he won a selection for the victorious CoH team, but struggled at times to match the level. By bringing him here, the target is to further improve his skill as attack leader. The back-ups are a mixed bag: Lahtinen is a tall and powerful player, dangerous in the air and hesitant with his feet. Selecting Kirill Calvez came a bit out of nowhere (he has not even played for the Cowboys yet) but rumor has it that he can turn half a chance into a full goal.

General Style

When it comes to stylish, there is a simple rule: the Turtles play in a red shirt. Full stop. Our kit manager does not care that that is your preferred colour as well and will only bargain with regards to the shorts and socks (default blue-white, but optionally all white or all black). He has a categorical belief that it frightens the opposition and every manager is afraid of him. That kit guy is a psychotic skinhead, you know. Goalkeepers play in that chemical blue hue that can be seen from a mile away.

As a football team, Anewkansas will be an annoying opponent: they play physical football and will not shy away from intimidating opposing players. Star midfielders especially should tape in their ankles with an extra layer. On the counterattack, you can expect the Young Turtles to move forward fast and in numbers, but they will crawl back to their own half just as fast. If you can crack the code, make sure to create a gap, quickly. As long as the difference is just one goal, we will turn down the sportsmanship button a few notches more: diving, pushing, spitting, … You name it. But if you truly overpower Anewkansas, they can fall apart like dry sand.

Organisational Stuff

If my opponent posts first, they can decide scorers, hand out cards and give injuries. But if you act silly, I will be silly as well. Same goes for godmodding, you can go crazy if you want but if it’s in poor taste, I might retaliate. Or not. Practically anything goes. But whatever happens, we wear red shirts.

The experience of dealing with youth teams, even if it was only as just an assistant manager, paid off quite well for Volheim as he is now a key fixture in the national team program and likely to stay so long as the success at both the youth level and the senior level sustains itself. Shifting his ability to communicate with the young players under his command from the assistant position to the manager position will be a huge question, but he will look to capitalize on his experience with the senior team and his time as Faeron's assistant to try and take the Young Marauders forward. Surviving the change in management in the national team staff, thanks in large part to carrying the team to a win in the previous DBC, Volheim looks to continue a budding youth tradition for the Empire.

A former national team level goal keeper, Julius has been brought on to replace Thor who held the role during the last tournament and has been working around the Raynor City United youth teams the last few years. With no formal role in management until this appointment, it will be interesting to see how the once frantic goalkeeper can translate his playing time experience into a managerial role and be a bridge between the manager and the players.

While there has been quite the bit of turnover of the squad over the last two years, there are few other positions where there are more question marks for the team than at the keeper position. Jonas Eide gets the nod as the number one to start, having made a move from Rolalas to Bohr this past transfer window and looks to be in competition for the number one spot at their new club. While it by no means is a true statement of quality, it does perhaps suggest that Eide is the most polished and ready of the keepers on offer and he does seem to have fairly good reflexes from the time spent in the youth league. It is better than what Løvseth and Carreón offer, who despite being listed in their respected first teams are both far off from being in competition for a starting spot there and see action mostly in reserve games. While all three do have promise, Eide's apparent leg up in current quality will hopefully help solidify this wary position for the squad.

The defense sees two of the three players who are holdovers from the last edition of the tournament and one of those is the new captain Viktor Fløtre at centerback. A strong and sure footed defender, he looks to bolster the center of the defense with his imposing presence and allow the team to build from the back. Partnering him will be Elias Klette, the Soldarian FC defender has seen some but not much action with the first team though the staff there believes he has a lot of potential. A bit more of an agile of a defender, Klette is comfortable with the ball at his feet and can help in the build up play but also is not afraid to go crunching into tackles. Castaneda is perhaps the most polished of the centerbacks on roster but Volheim seems to prefer to have them coming off the bench and see more upside from the less experienced two defenders in front of him. Linnea Gåsland provided a bit of speed on the left to launch forays into attack, while Kielland is a more well rounded defender and likely will support the attack but look to defend first rather than look to get forward.

The midfield looks to be extremely strong for the side despite no holdover from the previous roster. The most intriguing play is Amets Thorsberg, who had an opportunity to play for either Valanora or Squornshelous but decided to represent the Empire where they were born. The United defensive midfielder is not expected to start but their combination of size and strength will make for quite the intimidating figure when he does actually hit the field. Amalie Vågen looks to be the playmaker in the middle of the park and it she will be responsible for finding the attackers with her passes and through balls. Mari Sæbø, Josefine Håpnes, and Matas Fjeldberg will be those she will be looking to find out with those passes, all good attacking players who have played with their first team and are the real force for the team as they ook to apply pressure to the opposition and bring home goals and victories for the team.

Bastian Østby is the last of the three players who were on the last DBC roster and in those two years he has grown into quite the capable striker in his own right using a good combination of pace, power, and good footballing instincts. It is not much of a surprise given he has been developing in the Kelssek league, which is renowned for its development of players, at least here in the Empire. He will be the tip of the spear for the side and is likely going to be the focal point for most of the attacks, which he looks quite capable of handling. Isak Ødegaard comes in as someone who has had the eye of the federation on them for some time, though being a bit undersized has yet to get their opportunity with the national team until now. An all around agile attacker who came play on either wing with strong left and right feet or up front as a poacher, he will likely be the first person off the bench if the team needs some sort of attacking option. Should the team need a third attacker in dire straights, then Skeie will be on the field, but if he hits the field things have probably gone awfully wrong for the squad.

Tactics
Volheim has had to adopt a new formation so that the team is playing in a way that is similar to the senior team for those who do end up making the grade and getting called up to the senior national team at some point in their career. Adopting a back four for the time being, the team will look to suffocate their opposition out with a crowding out in the middle and looking for the wingers to cut inside on the attack with the fullbacks staying wide and forward to provide width. It places a lot of responsibility on the lone striker to convert the chances that are made for them but with three players in the box and another two lurking outside it in the attack, there should be plenty of support apart from when the team breaks on the counter. Defensively the additional defender as well as a screening midfielder should keep the unit strong enough that the attacking talent should usually get enough goals to win most games.

Team Personality
The Darmeni team will never argue with the referee. Indeed, if anything needs to be brought to the attention of the referee it will be done by either the Captain or Vice-Captain in a respectful manner (or to the fourth-official by the Manager). With regards to foul/dirty play, the Darmeni team will not provoke, or retaliate against any opposition player. Darmeni's expect each team to keep to itself and deal with its own trouble makers; any opposition player who attempts to prevent a conflict by pushing or pulling a Darmeni away from the scene will be promptly told off, as that is the duty of the Darmeni Captain.

Nonetheless, Darmen will play in a relatively aggressive manner. Tackles will be conducted in a way which ensures the opponent ends up on the ground, but causing injury will be avoided as much as possible. On set pieces, Darmenis will stand their ground and will not be easily pushed around, they will not however engage in hugging. In fact, if any opposing player tries to push past them, it is not uncommon for the Darmeni player to feign resistance before simply stepping aside and watching as the opposing player stumbles past on their way to ground. This occasionally backfires however, as the referee may mistake the incidence as having been a foul in the box.

While there have been times where the keeper position has been one of the weaker portions of the team, in this version of the squad it at least looks up to the par with the rest of the team and not a weakness for other teams to exploit. Surány Kôvári has developed exceptionally well in Arrosia with Metropola Borograd, making all the saves that you expect him to make and a few that leave you a bit in awe with very good reflexes. He is exactly what you hope for at the back, a keeper who will make all the saves to keep you in games. Behind him is another good shot stopper in Robi Szölösi, though currently untested at the senior level and so there are still a few questions about their ability. Željko Horvatinčić is a bit of a giant among Pasargans and also slightly on the raw side but there is a good amount of potential there should he find the right environment to develop in, which sadly probably is not with the oft relegation threatened Paulinthal FC. There is speculation that Freitag called him up to help shop him around with international scouts known to frequent the tournament.

A good defense wins championships it is often said and with both managerial positions filled by former national team defenders, you would hope they have picked quite talented players to fill those roles and give the Wanderers a solid base to work from. Lazar Soltész looks to be the key man in the middle, a product of exceptional development that is associated with playing in Kelssek and versatility to play in the middle or on the right. A good combination of speed and strength, able to recover quickly and be a real nuisance to opposing attackers. Müllner and Reyes to his left are both very defensive minded players, Reyes not being a fullback who will get beyond the halfway line all that often if not for set pieces. Andor Gyôrfi on the right however is one of those marauding style of fullbacks who wants to get up the field and support the attack, as is Marie Theiss who waits behind him in the pecking order. Erasto Villaseñor Valdés might be brought on late in games when the team is trying to close out opponents, a real stopper style of defender who can also get underneath the skin of the opposition.

As is tradition, a good Wanderers team is built from an exceptional midfield and works from there, which is quite true of this team as much as any other. There is where the best and most tested players at the senior level with their clubs play, including a trio of those playing in the highly regarded Kelssek league. Boglárka Czakó is seen as perhaps the best player on the team and her great crossing ability as well as being strong on either foot has gotten her not only the start on the wing but also been given corner responsibilities. Aranka Kollár continues a long line of playmakers coming through at the Tani academy and she made her breakthrough with the first team last season, helping them to a top four finish with some spot starts and coming off the bench to be an excellent distributor of the ball, which the squad hopes will be the same with the national team. Oszkar Smid has been given the armband not just because of his talent but because he has had some worldly experience and shows a bit of the maturity and level headedness you want from a leader, especially when the stakes are high and the pressure intense. It helps he is a wonderful destroyer but can also be a facilitator and fulcrum between the defense and midfield.

At the tip of the spear is Csorba, a tall and strong stronger who will look to be the pivotal point of nearly every attack for the squad. With the ability to play with his back to goal, he can be the target man if the team needs it or a battering ram against more physical defenders. That hold up play should allow the pacy Szathmáry to be able to come into the play more often, as well as her well placed shots. Where Csorba might unleash a blistering rocket of a shot with a lot of power behind his kicks, the Turkish striker is more finesse and technical skill, combined with her pace she oft finds ways to either round the keeper or place it where they have no chance of saving it. Off the bench both Sallai and Duerr offer quite a bit in pace as well, though Duerr is a bit of a raw product when it comes to actually finishing her chances. Asztrik Orsós floats somewhere between the two molds of the starters, a bit of an all around striker good at everything but not quite great at anything, someone you can count to finish their chances more often than not but not pull of the spectacular.

Kronbia U-21 national football team

Overview

Football does not have a large fan base and comes in fourth place after basketball, baseball and boxing. Football began to appear on the island at the end of the eighties and continued as a game played in the streets and squares until 1998, when the first football league was established it consists of 5 teams. The number of teams has reached 8 currently. The sport does not find sufficient financial support due to the lack of audience attendance, the lack of sponsors, and the lack of any channels’ interest in broadcasting the matches.
