Those were the Baltimore Colts and the loss led to a series of events which led to the Colts owner trading the team for the LA Rams thus making Robert Irsay the Colts new owner who immediately traded Johnny Unitas to the Chargers then went on to wreck the franchise and move it to Indy in 1984. Twelve years later Art Modell moves the Browns to Baltimore who were renamed the Ravens (not an expansion team!!!). If you lived thru it from the start this was excruciatingly painful. But in hindsight, the Ravens have been a great upgrade... so maybe you're right in the long run but it was hard as fuck in the short run.
