Procedural Notes:

The entry of Lakewood City (Aquitayne) was rejected since no evidence of cup results was found.
The entries of O.K. Sanaţisu Zumamai (Geektopia), Cleorough (Sylestone), and Eyrods (Chromatika) were accepted on the condition that for next season their associations submit their cup results according to Cup Winners' Cup regulations. Failure to comply with this provision will result in the exclusion of their entries for next season.
Sterling City United (Darmen) were entered as titleholders despite the Darmeni Football Association forgot to include them in their submission.

This edition of the competition will see 45 clubs from 44 associations participate, three clubs and three associations more than the last edition, with titleholders Sterling City United entering the competition despite not qualifying through the slot allocated to the Darmeni domestic cup winners. With 45 clubs taking part in this edition, the titleholders as well as the cup winners from the top 18 ranked associations in the pre-IFCF 20 coëfficients will receive a bye to the first round proper, while the remaining 26 clubs will take part in the preliminary round with the 13 winners advancing to join those 19 clubs in the following round.

Final Site Election

With no associations having expressed their interest in hosting this edition's final, this time the Organizing Committee opted to hold a bidding process only open to cities in Valladares, in which most federal state capitals and some other important cities took part with their main stadiums. With 15 bids originally submitted to the consideration of the Organizing Committee for a "transparent and unbiased contest", 8 managed to make the first cut (with heavy favourites such as Metropolis, Bezieres, and Eterna City being surprisingly left out at the process' early stage), and then the final list was trimmed down to Carloburgo's White Meadow Arena, Canalave's Dragon Stadium, the Stade de la Frontière in Fontvielle, and the Estadio de la Montaña in Pradera, with the Organizing Committee eventually voting to decide that the sixty-eighth Cup Winners' Cup final will be played at Estadio de la Montaña in Pradera, Valladares (cap. 42,100).

A competition between two associations with varied histories in international club football, as defending Champions League holders CF Outineau reach the final and aim to be third club in the IFCF era and the 7th overall to defend their title, having won Kelssek's third Champions League title last season. All of Kelssek's international titles have come in the IFCF era, however, in point of comparison to their opponents from Mytanija, an association with 5 UICA era titles including 1896 Ebor's back-to-back team. Mytanija are yet to win a Champions League in the IFCF era, Atletik have come close in the past, and have a Cup Winners' Cup, a runners-up in Challengers Cup 11 and a storied youth side which won the 14th Rising Stars Cup and lost in the same competition's final last season. In front of 60,000 fans in Yuezhou, the youngsters finally make good on their potential, denying CF Outineau a historic consecutive title.

For Quebecois side Kingston FC it is an opportunity to do better than domestic rivals St. John's Arsenal, the runners-up in the 17th edition of the tournament. Tikariotian side Miruan City are the first finalists in the Challengers Cup from their country and victory would be a sure sign of the good health of Tikariotian football following their compatriots Baraldhur AFC winning the Associations Trophy last season. In the end Kingston FC ran out 3-1 winners in Patriotlandia, sealing an enormous international triumph for their supporters. Congratulations!

A win would also make Chromatika the most successful side in LBCT history, having won this competition a joint most 3 times previously. Facing them are Nunavut North Stars, hailing from Quebec and Shingoryeo who are only appearing in their fourth and fifth (see above) overall senior international club finals, hoping to add to Mipojoseon's sole triumph in the 15th Champions League final. And in the spirit of defending champions handing over their crown personally, Omnio would lose and provide North Stars their and Quebec's first ever LBCT title.

The success of Banijan football over the years has to start somewhere, right? Well, the youngsters from Istria City demonstrated where (part of) the source of Banijan football success emerges from by defeating the rugrats from the Eleanorian Academy (given that they are mostly physically adept older teens I am glad I am safely writing that from behind a keyboard, rather than too their - likely spotty - faces). It is the first victory for a Banijan side in the competition and given the country's track record we can probably expect to see some of these kids at the latter stages of a World Cup at some point in the next decade.

Each association may enter ONE club into the Cup Winners' Cup, with the exception of Pasarga which may enter one club in addition to CA Paulinthal.
Should CA Paulinthal win their qualifying national association or league cup, the spot held over for a second Pasargan entrant will be vacated.
With the exception of CA Paulinthal, all entered teams must have won a national association or league cup; Super Cup winners and winners of play-offs cannot be entered.
Clubs can only qualify through ONE domestic cup competition.
Associations with two or more cup competitions must choose which one of their cup competitions will award their Cup Winners' Cup berth to its winner. Play-off matches between cup winners to decide the qualifier will not be accepted.
For multiassociational cup competitions, only the cup winner is entitled to enter the Cup Winners' Cup. Associations taking part in such competitions that grant the winner qualification for the Cup Winners' Cup may not qualify clubs through a different cup tournament.
Each user may enter clubs from no more than two associations. Puppet nations must be declared upon entry.
Entrants must be posted in the International Domestic Soccer NewsWires (i.e. this thread), and at least the last three knockout rounds of the domestic cup tournament (i.e. quarterfinals, semifinals, and final) must have been scorinated and posted (with a link in the IDSN if it is posted elsewhere).
The deadline for Cup Winners' Cup entry will expire at the same time as the IFCF one.

Eshian soccer players were starting to get restless. With the utter collapse of the Eshian Soccer League and with it all of the teams in it, there was nothing really left to play for at all. Anyone who couldn't get onto the NT or get a contract abroad (seldom offered to Eshians thanks to the completely non-functioning state of the nation's soccer programs) could only sit back and twiddle their thumbs hoping there were enough guys around to set up a beer league nearby.

Eventually, a few dozen players in eight cities, both large and small, got fed up with the way things were, and set up an informal league between them. There were no big names involved in this league, no star managers from the olden days, no continuity with teams that existed prior, nada. This was the start of something new, the start of something grand... no budget, no spectators, hell, not even a name.

This was Season 0 of something new, and that zero represented more than just a season number, but rather something far more. Zero expectations, zero aspirations, just good old fashioned fun with zero problems holding it back.

Well, the other teams were right pissed off at the team from Eshialand City because of course the big city had the best players. But other than that there were zero problems.

The new look Super Cup features for the first time the IFCF Associations Trophy and Cup Winners Cup champions, as we bid adieu to the Liga B champions for the first time in 90 editions of this tournament. The newcomers are randomly drawn against the Champions League and Challengers Cup champions who are the seeded sides in the semi-finals. All Super Cup matches will take place within one of the nations of the IFCF Council - this inaugural revamped edition will be hosted in Valanora.

The 21st Champions League: The number of teams allowed is determined according to the association coëfficient ranking, with the following distribution:

Associations ranked 1–4 (Kelssek, Chromatika, Tumbra, Pasarga) are allowed to enter four teams.
Associations ranked 5–8 (Squornshelan Remnant States, Valanora, Quebec and Shingoryeo, and Mytanija) are allowed to enter three teams.

Atletik (MYT) and Kingston FC (QUE) are assured places in the Champions League group stage. If either fails to qualify through their domestic league, their association will receive an additional place. If either titleholder qualifies for the Challengers Cup, their Challengers Cup place will be vacated.
Shango-Fogoa Premier League: Has four places. Farfadillis and Banija must each enter at least one team.
All other multi-association leagues: Have two places, which must be filled by their two primary associations.

The 21st Challengers Cup: Every association is allowed to enter three teams. Multiassociational leagues with two primary associations may enter six teams, of which no more than four may be from the same association; associations ranked 1–4 must enter at least two teams each, and associations ranked 5–12 must enter at least one team each.

The 21st Liga B Champions Trophy: Every association is allowed to enter three teams. Multiassociational leagues with two primary associations may enter six teams, of which no more than four may be from the same association.

The 21st Rising Stars Cup: Every association is allowed to enter one team. (The youth teams of clubs which reach the Champions League group stage will also be entered.) Multiassociational youth leagues with two primary associations may enter two teams, which must be from different associations.

Istria City FC (BNJ) is assured a place in the Rising Stars Cup. If it does not qualify as champion of its domestic youth league, Banija will receive an additional place in the youth champions path. If its senior team qualifies for the Champions League group stage, it will enter the Champions League path instead.

There were two bids received to host the CEdC final. The representatives of each assocination were challenged to eat as much Maple Ice Cream as possible in a single sitting. After successfully eating 11 scoops, the final was awarded to Stadion Nacional, Natanians and Nosts.

The Federation of the Single Sun, in collaboration with Fuzpon Qusma and the Sanfordan Football Federation, would like to invite you to the Copa del Este.

The FSS Copa del Este is a new, proposed tournament for some of the best clubs in eastern Rushmore — roughly defined as Tempalia, Pavola, Terranea, and the Vatmark, though any association which considers itself eastern Rushmori and wishes to participate in the competition may do so. Associations are invited to submit their best two clubs which failed to qualify for the CRF Copa de Campeones.

The tournament will be single-elimination, with two legs for each fixture until the final, which will be a single match staged at a neutral site. To minimize travel costs and maximize the potential for international rivalries, the tournament will be divided into two separate geographic halves until the final. It would occupy the same spot on the international competitions calendar as the Copa de Campeones, and other regional competitions, to avoid schedule clashes with domestic fixtures.

The first edition will be held next season, contemporaneously with Copa de Campeones 67, and entries will be accepted until the next IFCF deadline. To enter the competition, please include a line for the Copa del Este, or CdE, in your standard international competitions entry form. For example:

The 103rd Allgnejsan

The Prosaic Union Football Federation (Prosaiska Unionens Fotbollsförbund) presents the 103rd season of Allgnejsan.

The teams

Allmänna Gränd IF

The “second” team from the City of Hagen came in second place last year and participated in international club football for the first time. Runner-up was their best finish in many years, and there’s undoubtedly something decent brewing in the west. Named after an alley of the same name in the city’s old quarters, the team was founded in 1910 as a general sports association and started fielding a football team in 1925. Their glory days in the 1970’s is a long way off, and they last won Allgnejsan in 1996, but there’s a seemingly universal agreement amongst commentators that they’ve emerged as one of the strongest sides the last couple of years. A popular team in the north and western parts of the city, they still lag somewhat behind their main rival IFK Hagen, against who they contest The Hagen Derby, in terms of support. Another rivalry include BK Rösunda, from the other big western city Stordal (Ängby). Pundits’ predictions for 103rd season is a top 3 finish.

BK Rösunda

BK Rösunda is the perpetual mid-table team. They hail from the city of Stordal in the west and are named after a suburban area just north of the city center. Founded in 1952, they have never won an Allgnejsa, but were runners-up in 1968, 1975 and 2000. They ended the 102nd season in 10th place; while they failed to impress, they were never in any real danger either. Which is a fairly accurate summary of BK Rösunda all things put together. Their main rivals are Stordal IF, but that is very much a dormant rivalry since the other big Stordal club has been stuck in the third tier for decades. Despite being the only Stordal team in the top tier, they generally receive mellow support and have struggled for years to garner much enthusiasm. Ängby Games against other teams from the west – like IFK Hagen and Allmänna Gränd IF – are usually considered the biggest games and attract the biggest crowds. Pundits’ predictions for the 103rd season is mid-table, of course.

Briskeby BK

BBK is one of the classical “Old Clubs”. Founded in 1873 in the city of Briskeby on the eastern coast, they enjoy the honor of having won the most Allgnejsan titles (among them the inaugural one in 1924). BBK is one the Union’s biggest clubs in terms of membership, and they have one of the most extensive academy programs. They won successive titles in the 99th and 100th season but have struggled somewhat the last two years. A strong finish to the 102nd season saw them ending in fourth place. They’ve traditionally played a composed and disciplined kind of football and have historically been the main provider of players to the Union national team (now there’s only one BBK player amongst The Dandelions). They’re in a bit of a generational shift and younger players haven’t been able to step up and fill the shoes of old heroes. Their main local rival is fellow Briskeby club Grünerhagen VF (currently not in Allgnejsan), although it’s not a very heated rivalry since there’s really only one club in Briskeby when it comes to who people support. To a lesser extent there’s a certain regional rivalry with the other northern Birka clubs –Dalströmma BK and Vasakamraterna – but the fiercest and most important rivalry has always been with the other “Old Clubs”: Finntorp IK, IFK Segeltorp, Kejm BK, Storängens IF and IFK Hagen. Pundits’ predictions for 103rd season is mid-table.

Dalströmma BK

The top club from the eastern city of Dalströmma. Founded in 1960 and no stranger to Allgnejsan – winning it on two occasions in the 1980’s – they’ve spent a few of the recent seasons in the second tier. They came out on top last season and were promoted together with IFK Sørtangen and Ängby IF. They enjoy enthusiastic support from all over town and are another example of the “One town, One Club” phenomenon. Key Dandelion and Taxhavn professional Georg Bardo grew up and played for the club for the entirety of his domestic career. His move abroad – which came about after the team had been relegated from Allgnejsan - was not well-received. While the “mackerels” sport a young and energetic squad, the consensus is mostly that they lack both depth and edge. Fans and pundits alike nevertheless expect them to re-establish themselves in the top tier.

Finntorp IK

FIK is another one of the “Old Clubs” with roots back to the late 1870’s and early 1880’s. One of the big northern clubs. As a sports association they are involved in more than just football and have a large youth program. They were the dominant force during the late 1980’s, the 1990’s and early 2000, when legendary coach Bjørnstjerne Eriksen led them to multiple victories. They play 5-4-1 and still maintain their golden day philosophy of “northern football”. There’s been many disappointing years for the FIK fans of late, but last season they produced a surprisingly strong finish and ended in fifth place. They contest The Battle of The North derby against fellow Berg teams IFK Segeltorp and IFK Nordstjernan, and the local Finntorp Derby against Njaard IF and Gressbakken BK (none of them in Allgnejsan). They maintain a fierce rivalry against the other five “Old Clubs”. Pundits’ predictions for the 103rd season is mid-table.

Friska Viljor BK

Their main rivals is Nokkeby BK, the traditionally biggest and most successful Nokkeby team (relegated last season). They are expected to struggle.

IFK Hagen

IFK Hagen is one of the oldest football clubs in The Union, founded as a general sports association in the late 1860’s. The biggest and most widely supported team from the City of Hagen, they have won Allgnejsan a total of five times (1928,1939, 1997,1998, 2006) and are thereby the least successful of the “Old Clubs”. They also have one less title than their fiercest city rival Allmänna Gränd IF (which they are often reminded of). Their fans are numerous and highly loyal; despite lacking results you’ll rarely see empty seats when IFK plays at home. Regularly painted as a sluggish or sleeping giant, the team were relegated and played a season in the second tier just a few years ago. They bounced back swiftly and have reestablished themselves as regular Allgnejsan team. Finished in 7th place last year, and while the fans hope that their team will finally wake up this year, most commentators have them pegged for a mid-table finish.

IFK Nordstiernan

A general sports association from the city of Ursvika on the northern coast. Founded in 1912 but only started fielding a football team in the 1950’s. Regarded as an “upstart” by the other older northern Allgnejsan clubs Finntorp IK and IFK Segeltorp. Won Allgnejsan in 1999, 2001 and 2002. Plays 5-4-1, like many of the other northern clubs. Fairly large fanbase, but many in the northern town prefer local – and older – rival AIK Ursvika (currently playing in the second tier). Have had a couple of weak seasons of late. Ended the last season in 13th place and just barely escaped relegation (by beating champions Lokomotiv Esaias on the last match day). They are still expected to struggle in the upcoming season.

IFK Segeltorp

The pride and joy of the City of Segeltorp on the northern coast. The sports association was founded in 1874, and it is one of the “Old Clubs”, but only started playing football in the late 1880’s. Won a string of titles in the 1930’s, 40’s and 60’s. Struggled to achieve much of note from the 1980’s and up towards the early 2000’s, but have stepped out of the shadows after the turn of the millennium and is now widely considered the strongest northern side. Fierce rivalries with fellow northern clubs Finntorp IK and IFK Nordstiernan. Pundits’ predictions for the 103rd season is top 3.

Newly promoted side from the Union’s southernmost city Sørtangen. A regular Allgnejsan team in the 1950’s and 60’s, and they won their only title in 1959. A bit of a surprise run in the second tier last season and clinched the last promotion spot on the last match day. Fans and the city in general are very excited about playing Allgnejsan football again, but few outside of the southern tip of Vika fancies their chances at success.

Kejm BK

One of the big clubs from the capital city of Port Kejm. Founded in 1882 and one of the “Old Clubs. They are an historically strong team and placed second for most Allgnejsan titles. Historically hails from the east side of town, although they have a massive fanbase in and around the capital area. Portions of the fans are fairly fanatical, and KBK was a hotspot for some of the widespread problems of hooliganism during the 1960’s and 70’s. Those days are gone, but KBK is one of the clubs that still struggle with football related violence on occasion, and often in connection with the capital derby – The Old Fray – against Storängens IF. They won two consecutive Allgnejsan titles in the 97th and 98th seasons, and ended the 99th in 2nd place after an embarrassing defeat against already relegated Welmia IF on the final match day. They have struggled massively since, and have not been near to contend for the title. They finished in 8th place last year, and few pundits think they’ll be anywhere near the top this year either.

Current champions. One of the two big Southron clubs, and the main club from the city of Esaias. General sports association founded in 1900 that started playing football in 1905. They are undoubtedly old, but not considered one of the “Old Clubs”. This is much to their annoyance. They have always favored swift and offensively minded football, even when most teams focused on defensive philosophies. They were a strong side during the 1960’s and 1970’s (winning Allgnejsan in 1967, 1969, 1972 and 1975), and had a slight surge when they claimed the title again in 2010. They were firmly placed in the low mid-table for many years, and were even relegated for one season, but they’ve built a solid team and stand as one of the strongest Allgnejsan sides. Five Lokomotiv players are regular Dandelions, and they also raised and nurtured fellow Dandelion and Taxhavn professional Hibiskus Andersson. They uphold a fairly heated local rivalry with AIK Esaias (currently in the second tier) and the other Southron teams Norrholmia IK and IFK Sørtangen. Their fanbase is a fickle bunch, and attendance usually fluctuates with team performance. Lokomotiv are generally disliked by fans of other clubs and often comes out on top in lists over “What team do you hate the most?”

Norrholmia IK

The other big Southron club. Founded as a general sports association in 1910 in the city of Norrholmia, started playing football in the 1930’s. Have won Allgnejsan once. Plays 4-3-3 in traditional “southron” style. Ended the last season in 12th place. Large and devoted fanbase that are used to being disappointed. Expected to struggle.

Storängens IF

The other big club from the capital city of Port Kejm. Like its rival Kejm BK, SIF was Founded in 1882 and is the last of the “Old Clubs” in Allgnejsan. They are tied for third with IFK Segeltorp in number of Allgnejsan titles won (12). Historically hails from the west side of town, where they still have most of their fans (in addition to the south parts of the capital). Their fans are known for frantic tifo displays. They run the biggest youth academy in the Union and have fostered many great Dandelions and other Union football heroes. Like their greatest rivals – Kejm BK – they have been associated with hooliganism and violence, although this is less prominent today.

Vasakamraterna

Founded in 2006 in the city of Vasa on the eastern coast. Have risen like a comet through the low tiers of the domestic football system. Allgnejsan newcomer (and first-timer) in the 99th season where they performed respectfully and ended up in 9th place. They solidified their status as an Allgnejsan club in the subsequent season and then surprisingly won their first ever title in the 101st season. They enjoy enthusiastic support in Vasa, a city that has waited a long time to once again be represented in the top tier of Union football. Pundits' predict top 3.

Raynor City United makes it way back to the Final after a penalty shootout against the holders, while Qubecois outfit Kingston FC knocked out the other Vanorian club in the semifinals to give Quebec their first representative in the Final. Ninety minutes came and went without a goal, then another half hour, and when penalties came United might have thought themselves the edge but Kingston would edge out the competition from the spotkicks to lift the trophy. This continues the trend of the holders not being able to retain the title, will Kingston break the jynx next edition or will the trend continue onwards?

Entries into the next Hui Lā are now open and close when the IFCF deadline is posted. Entries must be the champions of an association and second entries must be the champions of the association's cup, or the highest placed club from the association in a multi-association league. If there is no cup or the league champion does the double, then the second entry should be allocated to second place in the league. All primary associations in Arrosia are entitled to two entries, besides Quebec, who shall be granted a third entry if Kingston FC does not qualify through league or cup performance.

El Qlasiqo

El Qlasiqo is the biggest football derby in Barkhastan. One of the least prestigious global football spectacles, it regularly attracts sell-out crowds and high viewing figures in a nation not otherwise known for its rabid fandom, and has at times drawn a foreign TV audience of upwards of seven people!! El Qlasiqo pits Real Jizkand against Barqa SC, and has a deep history that goes far beyond the 22 players on the field, factoring in questions of politics and national identity.

Barkhastan is a confederation of various ethnic groups, most tracing descent from the tribes of the steppes. The Barqi (Barkhi) people are just one of those groups, and though they might be the most numerous, do not actually make up a majority of Barkhastanis. So while Barqa SC is the favoured club of virtually every Barqi man, woman and child, Real Jizkand, the largest football club in the capital city of Jizkand, are preferred by the Kukuls, Sulyakhs, and others.

Real Jizkand are one of the oldest Barkhastani football clubs, but have played under that name only in the last few decades since post-Soviet independence. In the Barkhastani SSR, royal references¹ were forbidden, while Jizkand (at that time known as Jizkarta) was renamed Khlopkagrad. Real Jizkand have thus played as Spartak Khlopkagrad for the majority of their existence, yet you will find very little acknowledgement of this from contemporary Barkhastanis, for whom they will always be and have always been simply “Real”. They play in the sky blue kit of the Sultanate of Örken.

Barqa SC (Sports Club) is based in the city of Altansar, the cultural and historic first city of the Barqi people. Unlike the predominantly agricultural Kukul and Sulyakh, the Barqi were more industrialised and, despite contemporary protestations to the contrary, more enthusiastic adopters of Soviet communism. Barqa was formed as a sports club for workers at the metalworks in Altansar, and to this day play in the iconic all-red strip.

Both teams are supported by more than football enthusiasts: each comes with its own band of ultras: Tulgyr Baatarlary support Real Jizkand, while UltrAlansari Düshlari support Barqa. Both groups are politically coded, with Tulgyr Baatarlary seen as right-wing and anti-communist while UltrAlansari Düshlari mix left-wing politics with Barqi nationalism. Both groups are known for their exuberant crowd presence including banging drums and blowing horns; Tulgyr Baatarlary frequently wear traditional steppes dress, while UltrAlansari Düshlari are particularly known for greeting opposing fans with an infernal blaze of red flares.

Relations between the two fan groups are tense and incidents of violence are not uncommon, reaching a crescendo whenever El Qlasiqo nears. There have been very occasional moments of unity, though, such Real fans observing a minute’s silence when talented young Barqa player Nasiv Rahimov was honoured after his untimely death, and Barqa fans crowdfunding support for Real families affected by the Jizkand Earthquake.

The overall record in El Qlasiqo is 51–30 to Real with 10 draws, which became 11 draws after this season’s El Qlasiqo, in which both teams played out a tense goalless draw, neatly symbolising that despite the fixture’s prominence in the Barkhastani football psyche, neither team can actually claim to be the best, comfortably eclipsed by Lokomotiv Terarkand who were busy thrashing Union Süüssüü to extend their lead at the top of the Barkhastani Super League.

¹ “Real” means “royal” in Barkhastani, which is astonishing coincidence given it bears absolutely no other resemblance to Spanish, baffling linguists to this day.

Melnock House is one of the TPL's most beautiful stadiums. Located on the edge of Eivora, it is nestled into a large park and while a quite modern stadium, it doesn't feel out of place. The flowing lines continue inside the double-tiered stadium that allows for a great atmosphere.

Eivora is a city in the northeast of the Emerald Coast Province, nestled in rolling hills and grasslands. It is a trade and transportation hub near the convergence of the Emerald Coast, Dhaencunor and Paladon. The local club Eivora Athletic FC has a rich history in the TPL, with seven TPL titles.
