The unusual balance is due to the fact that there is no relegation, therefore making the teams in the Prem "Franchised". These clubs are all owned by either rich owners or the fans themselves, making owner diversity super unique. There is also a salary cap of 100 Million dollars, making the spending very rigorous and makes sure that the league is balanced. However, nine clubs, known as the Top 9, stand out from the rest as key forces in the Restresian populace. Veverițele Capitoliului, Traffic Conesa, The Maresda Beavers, the Pems Penguins, Summit FC, FC Ports, Sleepers Club, San Marisa, and Clubul de Fotbal Dacia are all the top 9 of the league, and have at least 8 titles each.
The first half of this year was marked with much surprise, considering the favorites were Traffic Conesa, however they struggled to start, but managed to recover to solid second place thanks to the play of striker Pablo Albu. The first place team was FC Ports, riding the incredible wave of National Team goalie Marcus George to a surprising 21 goal half, the lowest in the league by a large margin. The Third place was an even bigger surprise, as the Portas Whales rised as the highest placing non Top 9 team in the table thanks to highly desired midfielder Lane Sanchez's incredible play, scoring 10 goals in the first half of the season alone.
