Based on the combat lessons from JURA, it was noted that their VTA3-M3 rounds were ineffective against the newer DU-coated composite layered armor, prompting the Revolutionary Council into taking tremendous efforts to compensate for its lack of penetration. Among the fruits of these efforts was the wide adoption of an AI database: the Rakata Battle Management System, which enabled Rakata-equipped tanks to automatically aim and shoot at the weakspots of enemy vehicles, reducing the need for updated armaments. This feature identifies vulnerable points in enemy armor as determined by the the fire control system, which then automatically aims the gun at a possible penetration point. Although this feature was revolutionary for an FCS, it still required several seconds to identify, calculate, and adjust the aim corrections to make a proper shot. Furthermore, the AI auto-aim program was proven to be time-consuming during the heat of battle, with the database taking a considerable amount of time to recognize and aim at an enemy vehicle during its ballistics and round analysis. While this feature was partially solved throughout the years, mainly via improvements on the auto-aim program and newer APFSDS designs such as the VTA3-M4, the Vaskaroschi Munitions Workers' Union has finally developed a round to close the strategic gap.

The Vaskaroschi Tank Ammunition Category 3 - Model 5, also known as the VTA3-M5, is a high velocity armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot-tracer (APFSDS-T) round developed by the Vaskaroschi Munitions Workers' Union, specifically designed for the SAUT-130M5 smoothbore gun on the JP-2 tank. Although this round is capable for any 130mm smoothbore guns, the JP-2 seems to be the only tank in the Revolution's service that can fit the round into its storage. The JP-1 tank series was also put into consideration for the ammunition, but was phased out during the designing stages given that it was set for retirement from the Revolutionary Army. Regardless, the VTA3-M5 was first tested at Operation Fibonacci, where a JP-2 tank successfully penetrated the front turret armor of an Abrams tank, which was regarded as the thickest in terms of rolled homogenous armor (RHA). It successfully penetrated it at a 0 degree penetration angle in a distance of 1.2 kilometers. All of which was done in a test-control environment.

During the tests, the ammunition's theoretical muzzle velocity performance was determined, confirming that it goes at around 2,859.87 meters per second in SAUT-130M5 gun length, and it was able to sustain such velocities throughout the initial 2 kilometer flight. The said muzzle velocity also confirms that it generated up to 20 MJ of muzzle energy, which enabled the sabot to propel at such velocities from an 11.45 kg RPD-380 propellant base. This muzzle energy is slightly higher than the previous VTA3-M4 round, which can only generate up to 12.1 MJ. Nonetheless, the VTA3-M5 was also noted to have up to 804.22MpA in chamber pressure, which is much more higher than the standard 400 to 600 MpA in usual APFSDS. Although the high MJ muzzle energy and chamber pressure can potentially increase barrel wear over time, this was compensated by the engineers of the Vaskaroschi Workers' Union, who designed an advanced combustible cartridge that lessens barrel wear and making the overall weight of 34.18 kg. Given its weight, it is highly advisable to utilize autoloaders when loading the ammunition to the breech for efficiency and effectiveness.

Ascertained by the workers of Vaskaroschi, the VTA3-M5 round has a perforation limit of up to 1326.1 mm of RHA at 2 kilometer at a 75 degree angle, which could potentially render any armored vehicles below it as obsolete in terms of protection. Furthermore, the penetration material could also be swapped between tungsten and DU, with the tungsten material being capable of penetrating up to 1014.9mm of RHA for 2 kilometers at 0 degree angle. The ammunition also uses an electric primer, which utilizes an insulated resistor that can be ignited when the firing pin receives an electric current signal. Once the firing pin receives an electric current, it contacts with the circuit, which heats the resistors, allowing it to ignite the RPD-360 compound. This circuit can also be programmed for the BMS, which allows the ammunition to send data back to the digital screens, giving the crew the necessary information on what ammunition was loaded and fired from the breech. This could also be helpful for the AI aim-assist program, which takes the values of the APFSDS and calculates the necessary ballistics to determine and penetrate the weakspots of an identified enemy vehicle that is registered on the database.

As a standard from the JURA armory, all tank ammunition must have some tracer elements at the end of the ammunition. In the case of VTA3-M5, the tracer element is located between the fin-stabilizers, with the tracer color being modifiable on the factory output. As for the dimensions, the VTA3-M5 has a case diameter of 130mm which is enough to fit on to the breech of the SAUT-130M5, as well as an overall length of 1,312mm or 1.3 meters. Its main rod is mainly made out of depleted uranium, and it has an overall length of 956mm along with a diameter of 36mm. It also has penetrator cap length of around 150.29mm, along with a penetrator monoblock length of 146mm. This monoblock penetrator helps stabilize the yaw of the rod when it penetrates through Explosive Reactive Armor or angled armor, making it capable of penetrating even the latest generations of ERA. The VTA3-M5 is also rated to be effective at −32 to 63 °C, making it operational in any theaters or climates.

As the dawn of drones takes their place on the battlefield, tanks become considerably more defenseless and vulnerable when faced with this emerging threat. With drones making technological advances in terms of range and payload each day, the Janpian-Top Active Protection System (J-TAPS) was seen as insufficient or easy to expedite, especially when faced against a swarm of hostile drones. Furthermore, the anti-tank warfare domain continues to expand its horizons, adding further vulnerabilities to the Revolutionary Army. In a bid to achieve a breakthrough, a project study was commissioned by the Revolutionary Council for the Workers of Zelenny Industrial Union, to develop and produce newer technologies to close this emerging threat. The design is required to be simple, cost-effective, easy to mass-produce, easy to implement, and easy to maintain, making it a challenge for the Zelenny Industrial tank designers. Furthermore, the systems must also be made for the versatile, combat-proven JP-2 Tank platform to allow mass deployment without much need to create a new armored vehicle. It must also retain or improve any current existing systems that are in use of the Revolutionary Army.

Following these demands, numerous prototypes were proposed, including a variety of modular electronic countermeasures that are aimed to disrupt or jam enemy drone navigation or radio transmissions. Other prototypes also have spaced protection layers now called as "Cope Cages" by mainstream media, while some prototypes have an improved J-TAPS model with more explosive-formed penetrators (EFP) in exchange for having less ammunition capacity. Out of all the proposals, the Project Z604 was selected for the preliminary design stages, which utilizes an EO-guided .50 caliber machinegun that can automatically aim and shoot at any approaching hostile drones or other small loitering munitions.

This concept was originally conceived during the 60s, only to be repurposed by changing the AESA sensors to EO (some variants also retained the AESA arrangement), and built to automatically interdict drones instead of the intended ATGMs. Effectively, this makes the system similar to the traditional CIWS utilized on some warships, albeit utilized on a smaller scale for a tank. This new system - the Witch II Remote Weapons Station (RWS), is a further improvement from its predecessor, given its new automatic anti-drone capability, as well as improved management control systems, enhanced stabilization while moving, as well as better sensor equipment and angle adjustment. It has its own EO sensor that is connected to the Rakata BMS, allowing it to automatically classify, recognize, and target/eliminate, potentially without the need of human supervision. Though it could also use the radars from the tank APS for extremely close engagement, given that it is also connected to the same system. The RWS can also be modified to utilize different calibers such as 12.7 or 7.62 machineguns, as well as the 40mm automatic grenade launchers, with the capability to set the fuze as well. Among other features of the Witch II are the integrated hostile fire sensors (HFS), and the capability to receive reports from the ground surveillance radars (GSR), which further enhances the RWS' detection rate and retaliation capability against multiple drone attacks, and potentially even snipers or other land-based targets.

Following extensive study and concept evaluation, the prototype was further upgraded and fitted with the new EZV-3 sight system, which streamlines the hunter-killer system, improves the tank's sight capabilities, and gives the commander a wide range of view from its 360 degree LOS, giving them a 50.56 degrees per second rotate to enable a full rotation at 7.12 seconds. The EZV-3 is a gyroscopic, panoramic tank optic that has a two-axis stabilizer, that is also equipped with a high-definition, dual-band 3rd gen FLIR. These thermals enable the crew to identify and effectively detect NATO size 2.3 x 2.3 targets up to 7,500 meters, which they could accurately hit thanks to its eye-safe, methane-pumped, raman-shifted, laser rangefinders, which has a range of up to 9,500 meters. Furthermore, the EZV-3 sight has a 0.05 milliradian error margin to the gun, and has an elevation of -20 to 60 degrees. It has a fully colored magnification and target identification levels of 3x, 6x, 13x, 16x, 25x, 50x digital zoom, as well as a 12 – 17 µm spectral bandmaking detector technology. The EZV-3 also has a focal-point array, dewar cooler bench, and instant calculation electronics to convert thermal radiation into identifiable video images. With this sight, the tank is more capable of seeing long-range targets in 1,316 x 480 pixel resolution under its effective identification range. Among the components of the EZV-3 is its own electrical unit and digitalized main control unit, which are connected to a four-bar linkage drive units. The digitalized main control unit has the weaponry traverse control program, thermal optics control panels, and gun position sensors. It also has a switch unit program in case the crew needs to switch roles (commander to gunner or vice versa), as well as a connector unit that utilizes inputs from the Rakata BMS database. This connector unit allows the sight to also function as a fire control system, utilizing the Rakata BMS and its database to automatically adjust and aim the gun at the weakpoints of an identified target. The system utilizes 4 sights which is the main commander sight, main gunner sight, gunner auxilliary sight, and a back-up gunner sight. All of which are accessible to everyone's crew consoles, giving them access to increase situational awareness or incase one of the sights got knocked out. As part of the standards, the window materials that are used for the sights are aluminum oxynitride, which is a polycrystalline transparent ceramic that is low in weight, resistant against acids and water, and offers superior blast protection that can even withstand .50 BMG rounds. With the internal components, as well as the sight's arrangeability, the EZV-3 is modular for any existing battle management system and capable of functioning for any crew assignment.

Among the other upgrades that were added during the study and review stages is the new modular bustle loader system. This system, which was designed by the Workers of Jaschin Tooling & Machinery Union, has the capacity to fit a total of 10 to 20 VTA-3M5 sized ammunition, and load a single round into the SAUT-130M6 gun breech in a span of 2 to 3 seconds. 1 second was allocated to allow the breech to recoil and return, and 2 seconds was allocated for the feeding time. Given that the 130mm ammunition can weigh from 20 to 60 kilograms, 2x powerful ram hydraulics were utilized to allow the shell to travel 0.8 meters from the feeder to the chamber within 2 seconds. Nonetheless, the autoloading system has a small dedicated feeder that is built on to the tank, which can be attached with a 10-round magazine on either left, right, or both side of the hydraulics. These magazines also comes with a laser barcode identifier for the ammunition, which can read commander or gunner commands from their consoles, enabling the magazine to provide the proper ammunition and load it to the feeder system. Given the magazine's modular feature, one of two 10-round rotary magazines can be replaced with either two pop-up ATGMs, enhanced J-TAPS, larger radios or electronics, crew stowage, or small loitering drones. This later-added modularity feature is part of the design team's efforts to combine the designs of formerly proposed tank concepts, which makes the JP-2A potent for any mission. Nonetheless, the autoloader system can also unload ammunition that is inside the breech and has the capability to reorganize the ammunition inside the storage. Standard features such as blow-out panels are also included, as part of the safety modules on the magazines.

Additional changes were also implemented, such as a new advanced engine and transmission, which maintained the original dimensions and size of the original JP-2 engine block. The new ZHEDE-34612 is an opposed-piston, hybrid diesel-electric engine that comes in 3, 4, or 6-cylinders, allowing it to operate between 700hp, 1000hp, or 1500hp respectively. This opposed piston architecture allows the engine to function much more efficient than conventional engines, with each two stroke delivering power to the crankshaft by combining the intake and exhaust processes into the compression and power strokes, instead of having four traditional strokes. In this case, it makes the mechanical footprint smaller all while having enough equivalent power as to conventional engines, making the ZHEDE-34612 also modular in size depending on the power requirements. It can function in two modes: That being the silent mode which uses a DC electric mode, or the standard mode which operates with its diesel engine. The silent mode enables the tank to move around quietly with the exception of tracks or moving parts, which could be useful when maneuvering around urban environments. Albeit this mode is limited, given that it was prioritized for the tank's electrical component whenever the tank is stationary. Studies have shown that the majority of tank operations involve little to no maneuvers on the engagement range, making this new engine more efficient in operation, as well as 50% more economical in terms of oil consumption. When idle, the upgraded engine reduces from the original 10 gallons of oil per hour to 3.17 gallons, and 3.25 gallons per hour instead of 15 when moving on off-road ranges. It also has an integral fuel filter system and a standard oil level sensor as a standard. Unlike the former engine used by the JP-2, the new engine uses a more common fuel variant known as Diesel# 2, which are often used by civilian trucks, thus simplifying the logistics line and cost. Additionally, the new engine reduces heat rejection by 25%, which leads to a huge necessary power reduction to the cooling fans and allowing it to allocate more power to the sprocket or other necessary components. This is part of the overall Advanced Thermal Management System (ATMS), which increases its overall thermal efficiency and power, and provide a cooling solution to other components. Included in the ATMS is the electronics cooling system, which also acts as the AC for the crew compartment, providing the necessary temperatures inside the tank and its systems. It also has multiple brazed aluminum heat exchanger pack, which utilizes the recent breakthroughs in plate/fin technology to provide a general coolant for the engine and its components, such as the filters, heat exchangers, and other electronics. Due to its diesel-type fuel, the engine can also generate smoke screens by injecting diesel to a specialized hot exhaust, enabling ESS capabilities for the tank. This allows it to deploy smoke screens while moving, which could conceal anything behind its rear or cover the tank itself. In total, the new ZHEDE-34612 engine weighs around 3.7 tons, and it also has a 10kW low-profile auxiliary power unit at 28VDC for specific components such as the fire control allocation system and its BMS database. As part of the standard JP-2 protection, the engine space also has its own fire suppression system as part of the onboard malfunction detection system, which can detect fires in an instant and extinguish it to mitigate any further damages.

Regarding its transmission and powertrain, the tank utilizes the new automatic AZT-60A powertrain, which was specifically designed to operate with the ZHEDE-34612 engine that has dual operation modes. This powertrain is located at the back of the tank hull and has standard features such as regenerative steering for both left and right tracks, allowing the tank to maintain its speed while turning, all while keeping its motion and transmission smooth for the crew. Some former designs from the JP-2 were also retained in the design, such as its torsion bars with rotary shock absorbers, which makes the hull stable, especially when moving or doing maneuvers. The new powertrain also introduces newer designs, such as using more efficient gears instead of the traditional cross-drive transmission, allowing the tank to work more efficiently in rugged or cold/dry environments such as snow or deserts. This new powertrain is fixtured on to the same track of the JP-2 tank, and it is also capable of providing power to the tank's electrical components and hydraulics such as the gun stabilizers. Furthermore, the powertrain is capable to be fully drive-steer or brake-by-wire, allowing it to support future autonomous operations. The transmission can support a maximum weight of 70 tons, and it also utilizes a 160 kW starter-generator for the drivetrain. This starter-generator, also known as a modular auxiliary powerpack, is also used for most of the electrical components, and can also run the tank independently for a short period, making it operate in silent. As for the generator cooling, the fans used can be electric or hydraulic, in which the fan speed can be controlled depending on the required air or temperature, allowing the tank to operate in hot or cold areas reliably, and enabling more power to the powertrain or to other necessary electronics. In general, the AZT-60A powertrain has a forward range ratio of 33:1 to 1:1 as well as a backward range ratio of 35:1 to 1.75:1, giving the tank a total of 32 gears. With these in mind, the tank can go 67 kph at road speed and 48kph at off-road conditions. It also uses a retracting-spline final drive, which removes the immediate drive shafts that are used on the JP-2 tank. Overall, it also has a capacity of 19 gallons of transmission oil, and it can use SAE 5W 30, SAE 15W 40, SAE 10W, SHELL SPIRAX S6 ATF 2M, A295, or S4 ATF HDX oil types.

As for its protection and gun, the Project Z604 variant utilizes the same armor and gun scheme as the JP-2 tank, which is the Stork Armaments Union TANK - 130 Model 6 (SAUT-130M6), and the Yagerov T-4 composite armor. The armor has an RHA equivalent of 1000 to 1200mm, topped with additional NERA for its outer layer. In terms of schemantics, the composite Yagerov T-4 armor is heavily applied to the front hull and turret of the tank, while the sides and rear utilize standard conventional armor. The side armor is also added with a modular special armored cover (MSAC), which is composed of NERA, ceramics, and steel layers. These layers would be enough to stop bullets, 30mm autocannons, IEDs, or RPG-7 rounds, disintegrating them before they could hit through the tank's structural composite armored hull. Like the JP-2 tank, the Z604 can either use the Iron-Tide or the Janpian Trushin APS, which both employs a computerized control unit from the Rakata BMS to quickly calculate and eliminate any propelled projectiles before they can hit the tank itself. Both APS are connected to the thermal-electric cooled laser warning sensors, which have the capability to detect and pinpoint the direction of laser-guided projectiles or enemy rangefinders, potentially disclosing their positions. Additionally, with the help of the Rakata BMS, this information is passed on to all allied units in a live manner, which alerts everyone to any detected hostiles on a specific direction. In more specific protection features, the Iron-Tide APS is known for being capable of intercepting APFSDS rounds, while the Trushin APS was developed to lessen collateral damages in mind by sensoring its surroundings, making it suitable for urban combat. Furthermore, both of the APS' laser warning sensors also allow the tank to quickly retaliate or enact countermeasures, such as firing smoke grenades to blind any laser or homing guided missiles, or reposition to a safer spot. In general, the APS covers the tank's potential weakspots such as the sides or back, which further adds protection against ATGMs or HEAT, while the laser warning system is there to further enhance the APS interception and also reveal any hostile locations to the rest of the allies, if they were marked with laser guidance or laser rangefinders. In regards to top-attack missiles, the Z604 utilizes an improved modular variant of the J-TAPS series, which has more explosive-formed penetrators (EFP) and a separate sensor for incoming projectiles from above. This modular system can be added in exchange for 10 round modular magazines, pop-up drones, or 1 to 2 pop-up ATGMs.

Bringing in the older sensor protection features from the former variant, the Z604 design also has an improved version of the Tomai-60 gunshot detection system, which would help the crew to be more aware of hostile firing locations, giving them the chance to retaliate or to direct their weapon system. This could be helpful when the tank is performing lone fire support missions with an infantry squad, allowing it to locate enemy suppressive fire independently without the need to coordinate with the nearby squad members, thus streamlining the process. Furthermore, given the exact nature of combat, the Tomai-60 can filter out any gunshot locations coming from the locations of any BMS-connected squad members or vehicles, allowing the tank to maintain awareness of hostile locations despite the heat of the battle. The system utilizes an acoustic detection that is connected to a filter program, which would then determine the location and range of the gunshot noise after it gets detected. It can also tell how many shots were fired, its plausible fire rate, and how many plausible shooters, all in the span of a single second. Thanks to the BMS connectivity, it can also coordinate with other similar sensors connected to the same BMS, which can further enhance the accuracy of the firing location report by basing the time of the gunshot noise to reach each detection system, allowing for triangulation. Depending on the situation or the mission, this system can easily be toggled on and off through the BMS control panels.

Utilizing the default factory colors also known as stock Zelenny Green (#3F4930), the Revolutionary Council has started the development for a new tank camoflauge for the Arbiter Tank, which would blend in with the Janpian countryside and was aimed to be cost-efficient for application. What they came up with was a three-colored pattern design which would blend in with the Janpian countryside woodlands, applied with Chemical Agent Resistant Coating for easy decontamination. This pattern was labelled as JURPAT Janpian Countryside Pattern, with an official designation of JURPAT WO5E26. The colors utilized was found to be closely matched with the dark morning woodlands often found in Janpian countryside, and was capable of disrupting the tank shape, allowing it to blend with the environment even at close ranges. The colors utilized was found to be closely matched with the dark morning woodlands often found in Janpian countryside, and was capable of disrupting the tank shape, allowing it to blend with the environment even at close ranges. The pattern also has boundary luminance gradient, which can trick the brain into seeing more contrast between the darkest color and the second darkest color. The entire pattern utilizes the base Zelenny Green, making it easy to adopt with only 2 colors needed to be applied.

As for the main gun, the Z604 utilizes the same SAUT-130M6 system as the JP-2. This gun has hydropneumatic assembly and hydraulic retarders, which dampens the effects of recoil and make it return back to the exact angle after firing. It is rated to handle up to 22 MpA in pressure, one of the highest in terms of reliability against barrel wear. This is partly due to the ammunition that it uses, as well as the tank's higher fire rates. The gun has standard features such as bore evacuator to avoid the gas from returning to the crew compartment, a muzzle point reference to keep the barrel accurate and make maintenance check-ups easier, as well as a thermal sleeve to reduce and regulate the barrel's temperatures. The gun uses a 2 plane stabilizer that is embedded near the gun breech, as well as a calibrated EZV-3 gunner sight variant mounted on top of the external barrel. It has a maximum gun elevation of 20 degrees, and a maximum negative depression of 10 degrees. The gun breech is also capable to reprogram fuze timer shells in the breech, which was taken from the gunner's laser rangefinder results. Nonetheless, the controls for the gun, coax, Witch II RWS, and optional ATGMs can be controlled by either the gunner or the commander, depending on their crew configuration program from their Rakata BMS panel units.

Regarding the digital fire control systems and its BMS, the JP-2A Arbiter utilizes the same C5ISR systems as the JP-2 tank, which can automatically track multiple detected targets, determine the threat level, and give recommendations to the crew or platoon. Furthermore, it can also differentiate and recognize more significant threats, allowing the crew or the FCS to automatically collate information from the database systems and aim at enemy weak points without human intervention. This feature works by identifying the vulnerable points in enemy armor as determined by the the fire control system, which then automatically aims the gun at a possible penetration point depending on the ammunition loaded on the breech. The tank is equipped with a ballistic computer systems, which can take outside factors such as wind direction, climate, or temperature, as well as internal factors such as the barrel wear adjustments to make an accurate shot. Furthermore, it can also lead the gun against moving targets, all while ensuring that the shot will land properly on the designated hit zone. This can be done automatically or manually, ensuring that the tank will have a better reengagement in case the shot or the calculation missed. Given that the computer is also part of the [[Rakata BMS]], platoon commanders can also view where their tanks are aimed at, allowing for coordinated fire with the rest of the squad. It can also integrate indirect firing solutions from pop-up drones or other outside electronic visual sources, allowing the commander to press the drone screens and let the tank automatically adjust its aim towards the tapped direction. Just like the FCS, all components of the tank are connected to the BMS system, which gives full control to the crew

Following the Janpian naming conventions, the Project Z604 was officially named as JP-2A, symbolizing it as a variant of the JP-2 tank series. It was upgraded with the most modern technologies the Zelenny Industries can offer, as an answer to the challenges of the new modern world. It was nicknamed "Arbiter" or "Schubaira" in Janpian, and was finally set for production after a series of tests from the Malingrad Proving Grounds. In total, it has a weight of 64 tons, which is much lesser than the original 73 tons from the JP-2, making it a total of 23.44 horsepower-to-ton-ratio. Nonetheless, its introduction is expected to replace or refit all older JP-2 tanks soon.

Unveiled in 2024, the JP-2A1 incorporates designs that were applied and implemented during the development of the JP-2AX, as well as adding further improvements that were earlier recommended by the crew from the JP-2A. One of these changes is its bustle autoloader system, which was replaced to JP-2AX standards. This gives the JP-2A with better modularity and flexibility when it comes to swapping out bustle modules, making it much easier to maintain or swap, suiting it for any mission requirements. Furthermore, the JP-2AX bustle also has an outer loading system, allowing the bustle to be easily replenished via manual or automatic means from the outside. The crew ergonomics and space were also improved in the A1 variant, and it also introduces a new streamlined meteorological sensor, which incorporates multiple measurement devices to record outer hyperlocal weather conditions, wind speed/direction, temperature, barometric pressure, and relative humidity, all in a single device.

Intelligence is considered as half of the battle. The other half lies at another thing: Logistics. For this reason, the Aukari Automobile Workers' Union has designed and developed a new line of dual-use trucks for both public and military use, with the objective goal of standardizing the logistics line and establishing a new baseline for JURA's future combat vehicles. Unveiled as the Revolutionary Motorized Transporter (RMT), these trucks comes in two variants: a 6x6 for light weight carriage, and an 8x8 for heavy all-purpose carriage. Thanks to its modular and reliable suspension design, the trucks can be upgraded or used into various different variants such as a Mobile Command Vehicle, an up-armored MRAP, Field Kitchen, Radar Station, Mobile Infirmary, and various more depending on the operation requirements. This makes the truck much more flexible, and increases the plausible commonalities when making a truck-based military variant.

On to its suspension, both RMT variants utilizes an independent, two steerable, swing axles for better sustained speeds on rough road conditions, offering it with better offroad or cross-country capability, making the ride much more comfortable and allowing for precise handling given that the wheels can move independently. With these feature, the truck can also have a maximum tire-to-ground contact, enabling better control for the driver. Furthermore, thanks to its AUTM backbone transmission, it also has a low transfer of vibrations, better chassis resistance against torsion or bending, has long life service, and also protects the drive shafts inside of it, making it much more reliable and easy to operate as compared to the traditional systems. It has adjustable vehicle height and clearance, allowing the truck to have a modifiable vertical climbing ability or fording depth rate. Other specifications such as an advanced Magnetorheological damper absorbers were also added, which utilize a special type of fluid that is controlled by a magnetic field. This field can be controlled by an algorithm through an electric current, which would determine and stabilize the yield shear stress point. Thus making the ride much smoother and more comfortable for the crew.

As for its engine, all of the RMT Truck family utilizes a single engine known as the AUE-300, for parts commonality and to ease logistics. The AUE-300 is a V8, direct-injected, air-cooled, turbocharged diesel engine, that has a total of 435 mechanical horsepower and contains 2 batteries that has 12 volts each. It also has a space for an extra alternator to charge both of the batteries and to convert the mechanical horsepower to voltage if necessary. It is placed on a cab-over-engine (COE) arrangement, which lessens any blind spots on the front, as well as making the truck much more compact and easy to maintain due to its easy access from the cab to the adjacent engine bay. In total, both variants run up to -45 liters per 100 kilometers, making the range up to 977 kilometers at a 440-liter tank. Both also have an actuator piston displacement of 12,672cc tor piston as well as a total of 16 gears, with 14 dedicated forwards and 2 for reverse. Thanks to the engine's selective catalytic reduction system, the truck is Euro 4 certified, making it have a less carbon footprint. As for the achieveable speed, the RMT can run up to 105 kilometers per hour on paved roads and 40 kilometers on cross-country or off-road conditions.

In terms of crew ergonomics, the RMT cabin comes in prepared with proper crew comfort and endurance in mind. As per JURA standards, the truck comes in with heating and air conditioning with cabin climate control, dual bunk bed space on the back for long-haul or stays, and other crew ergonomics such as an IP67 rated dashboard to increase endurance from outer elements. Due to its supposed use on JURA, the cabin space behind the driver, specifically the area for a dual bunk bed space, can also be converted to accomodate radar or electronic consoles, extra generators, or artillery/rocket fire control systems. Control-wise, the truck is easy to familiarize and operate due to its automatic electronic clutch with torque converter, which allows it to operate in automatic, semi, and full manual mode, depending on the driver's reference or the road situation.

Other driver support systems are also included such as an automatic load sensing valve brake, which can determine and sense the weight of the entire load space and balance the brake fluid per individual hydraulic pressure, making speed reduction proportionate. This works statically with a valve like device that determines the weight of the cargo on a certain area on the load space, which triggers the onboard electronics system that determines the whole truck load and sensing. This system then automatically allocates enough brake fluid per individual hydraulics system at the drum brakes, ensuring that each hydraulic receives just few or enough necessary fluid for an equal brake. Other parts of the system such as an integral power steering and ABS mode are also included, which can help the driver by preventing the wheels from locking up, giving the driver more control to steer away from an obstacle. The integral power steering can also help by reducing the effort to steer and manuever the vehicle with normal strength, which is connected to the actuator on the truck's servo system.

As for its performance, the truck can be left or right handed as part of the export plans of the Aukari Workers' Council, albeit the conventional or the factory-built variants would be in the right side to conform on Janpian roads. It has a wheel rotation of up to 39°, making it have a turning radius lower than 10 meters. Its robust electronics systems and performance means that it can operate from -40C to +49C, making it tough and capable to work around desert or winter conditions. Furthermore, thanks to its engine air intake placements as well as its IP67 rated cabin dashboard, an RMT truck in conventional layout can ford at a recommended depth of 1.8 meters, enabling it to pass over rivers or streams with ease. The conventional layout could also climb at a vertical height of 500mm, making it capable to pass over tall solid obstacles or objects on its path. Among other features to help it transit along rough terrain is its CITS which controls the tire overpressure control, enabling the driver to change the pressure of the tires while driving.

In terms of protection, the RMT truck comes in at a STANAG level 3 on all sides, making it protected from 7.62 projectiles or 155mm shrapnel explosion from 60 meters. With its versatile nature, the truck can also be added with mine flooring protection to the truck load and the cabin, as well as a low profile APS to counter incoming rocket systems. Additionally, the windows can also be optionally enhanced with aluminum oxynitride, a low-weight transparent ceramic composed of aluminum, oxygen and nitrogen that is capable of stopping a .50 caliber, and resistant against water and other masses. It also has an AFVT-100A Filtration and Ventilation System around the cabin, which can be extended to the truck load, making the air ambience around the truck safe and secure for breathing from contamination, poisoning, chemical warfare agents, radiations, and among others, at a rated purified airflow of m3/hour — 100. This filtration system has its own housing with air blower and packet filter, as well as a control panel with color indication of operating modes. As part of JURA's specifications, the truck can also be armed with a single light or heavy machine gun ranging up to .50 cal, which can be operated through a roof manhole on a standing position from the cabin.

JP-2-BL (OUTDATED | TO BE REFORMATTED)

Postby Janpia » Mon Feb 26, 2024 7:50 am

JP-2-BL

Image

Developed to cross over obstacles, the JP-2-BL is an armored vehicle-launched bridge (AVLB) variant derived from the JP-2 Tank, utilizing the same hull and chassis of the JP-2, all while carrying a foldable 26-meter bridge on its own weight (13 meters when folded). Prior to its development, the Revolutionary Council was demanding for a combat support vehicle for the engineer battalions, with the main purpose of deploying a passable bridge over craters, rivers, anti-tank ditches, or any gap-type obstacle in a short amount of time, along with the intention of performing such operations even under the threat of enemy fire. To answer the following demands, the workers of Zelenny Industrial Union has undertook the efforts to create such a vehicle, utilizing the JP-2 chassis in order to ease logistics or material supply, and to create a common combat vehicle to interoperate with the rest of the Revolutionary Army. Essentially, the JP-2 turret was removed and replaced with a bridge laying platform, in the cost of speed and mobility due to its added weight. Though despite the drawbacks, it is still capable to run up to 68 kmph and have a range of 419 kilometers with a single fuel tank.

In terms of features, the JP-2-BL has an advance automated hydraulics system, which enables the AVLB to deploy the bridge in less than 3 minutes without much assistance. Like the rest of the JP-2 Tanks, the JP-2-BL also has a self-entrenchment tool located between the lower glacis and underneath its hull, making it suitable for engineering battalions thanks to its bulldozing or dirt-moving capacities. It is also protected with the same Yagerov Composite Armor utilized on the JP-2 tank, which protects the crew against HMG fires, RPGs, and even HEAT or APFSDS rounds. NBC protection were also added on to the JP-2-BL, making it protected against chemicals, fires, or radiation attacks. In total, the JP-2-BL only requires a maximum of 2 crew members to operate, with one being the driver, and the other to set the bridge hydraulics. Like the JP-2 Tank, the controls of the JP-2-BL are fully digitalized, which enables the crew to switch combat roles or positions, and allow the crew to independently train with the machine-crew learning program. The digitalized controls also enables the program management to run smoothly and with ease, streamlining the process and making it easier for the crew. Like every vehicles of the Revolutionary Army, the JP-2-BL is also connected to the Rakata BMS, which allows real-time infomation sharing and coordination with the rest of the Army.

In terms of performance, the JP-2-BL operates by anchoring at the bridging site first, in order to stabilize its weight and position over any ground. Once the AVLB is set and the site is determined, the bridge would then be assembled on top of the AVLB, with the first section of the bridge being automatically extended on to a corner to connect with the second section. Once both sections are assembled, the connected bridge would be lowered on to the site under human or AI control, which would guide it and place the bridge over the marked site. This process could be greatly improved with the help of the AVLB's landscape recognition program, which makes it easier for the crew to place the bridge with precision and accuracy, further improving the bridge's structural integrity and reliability.

JLZ-48 (OUTDATED | TO BE REFORMATTED)

Postby Janpia » Mon Feb 26, 2024 7:51 am

JLZ-48

Image
Image

The JLZ-48, dubbed "The Janpian Type 10", is the answer to JURA's demands for a light armored reconnaissance vehicle and a mobile armored defense tank that is suitable for the Janpian terrain. The tank is built and designed by the Worker's Union of Zelenny Industrial. It uses a Rh-120 L/55 120mm cannon, making it compatible with the western military logistical network. The JLZ-48 is also the first Janpian tank to use a bustle auto loader, moving away from the traditional carousel loader which the Revolutionary Army uses. The new loader system means the crew battle stations are much safer thanks to the covered ammo rack, and upward venting system. A hit on the ammo rack won't completely kill the crew, allowing them to evacuate or drive away to a safer position.

Unlike the JP-1 tanks, the JLZ-48 has a built-in APS system, modular composite "Yagerov T-3" ceramic armor, miniaturized Dorchester armor, a completely new chassis, ECM protection, Engine Smoke generating System (ESS), and a switchable digitalized crew battle station. The JLZ-48 uses a single type of APS (rather than two on JP-1 Tanks), a small yet powerful gun caliber (120mm rather than 130mm), and modular composite Yagerov T-3 armor to reduce weight and material costs. All of these make maintenance easier and make the tank lighter. Furthermore, the weight enables the tank to pass most regional bridges in Janpia with ease. The JLZ-48 also features a special coating that lowers the tank's IR signatures, along with having a hunter-killer capability. The tank uses the Rakata BMS, maintaining the same FCS features such as the database collating systems, allowing it to aim automatically at the enemy weak points; context-based aim assist; tracking multiple detected targets; determining the threat level; and giving recommendations to the crew. It also features an Iron-Fist APS which provides an all-around protection, and a ballistic computer, which enables the gunner to calculate trajectory, taking note of wind speed and environmental conditions.

The JLZ-48 also features switchable digitalized combat roles, allowing the gunner, commander, and driver to switch roles, making task and crew replacement easier. With the tank's digitalized battle station, this allows the crew to interact with the revolutionaries outside the tank, have a split feed view on drone reports, and enabling a streamlined military coordination and awareness. The tank runs on 70kph, topped with a C4I system (command, control, communication, computer & intelligence) on the tank's BMS.

ZHD-201(T) (OUTDATED | TO BE REFORMATTED)

Postby Janpia » Mon Feb 26, 2024 7:55 am

ZHD-201(T) "Armadillo" IFV

Image

With the rising demands for a paratroop support vehicle, the Workers of Zelenny Industrial Union has developed an Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) that utilizes the Gonswanzan 120mm Tepoztli Recoilless Gun, with the vehicle having a maximum requirement of 20 tons, a width of 3.5 meters, and a length of 7 meters, in order to potentially fit inside cargo aircrafts and make it capable as a drop-in support vehicle. The Gonswanzan designers has also set a speed requirement of 70kph for the IFV, in order to outrun and outmaneuver hostile enemies inside enemy lines. Utilizing the experimental ZHD-201 hull from the Workers of Zelenny Industrial Union, the IFV was jointly constructed with the Gonswanzan engineers to fit the 120mm Tepoztli gun into a remote platform, while also integrating in a few Janpian sub-systems such as the interchangeable Rakata BMS, stabilization controls, and the calibration of the fire control program to the Gonswanzan armament. The final design was submitted as the ZHD-201(T) "Armadillo" to the Revolutionary Council and their Gonswanzan counter-parts, and was accepted for production in both nations.

The ZHD-201(T)"Armadillo" has a top speed of 80 kph, a weight of 20 tons, a width of 3.4 meters, and a length of 7 meters, making it suitable to be transported from a cargo aircraft, and plausible to be parachuted and deployed for the paratroopers. Due to its nature and role, the ZHD-201(T) "Armadillo" is classified as an infantry fighting vehicle, providing the paratroopers with an adequate fire support against any typical backline enemies. Armed with a stabilized 120mm Tepoztli recoilless gun along with a new Witch RCWS configuration, the Armadillo IFV comes prepared against soft or hard targets beneath enemy lines, with it's main gun being capable of penetrating or over pressuring hostile APCs, light armored vehicles, or IFVs, while also effective when shooting down personnel with it's Witch RCWS. Both armament systems have their own separate fire controls, but the programs are all centralized to the Rakata BMS, as a part of the hunter-killer capability.

Just like the rest of the military vehicles equipped with the Rakata BMS, the ZHD-201(T) has the capability to identify and track multiple targets, determine the threat level, and give recommendations to the crew. The Rakata BMS also has a special auto-aim and identification programs, allowing the IFV to differentiate and prioritize higher value targets, and auto-aim at vehicle weak spot as provided by its database. C5ISR systems are also included in the Rakata BMS, which further enhances the IFV in electronic warfare domains, and allow the crew inside to receive or give information to the rest of the army in real time. This also gives them the capability to coordinate fire with the rest of it's squadron, making the IFV much more deadlier, especially when dealing with it's role beneath enemy lines. In terms sensors, the ZHD-201(T) "Armadillo" is equipped with a 3rd gen FLIR for both commander and gunner, allowing the tank to operate and fight long range hostiles in nighttime conditions. Furthermore, it also has a laser warning designators, enabling the IFV to alert the crew if they are irradiated with a laser designators, permitting them to locate enemy laser direction and potentially it's location. This also gives the crew an option to deploy smoke grenade launchers, in order to block out laser guided projectiles and potentially allow the crew to retreat or retaliate in return.

With the entire turret being unmanned and automated, the Armadillo IFV also has an advantage when its on a hull down position, which allows the crew to control the turret without endangering themselves into the enemy's line of fire. Due to the turret being remote and unmanned, the Armadillo IFV utilizes a Gonswanzan automated reload system with the ammunition stored at the side of the gun, which loads the Tepoztli in just 3.2 seconds. Though optional, additional ammo can also be stored in the hull, which must be manually loaded into the turret when the autoloader ran out. Likewise, loading the turret does not require the crew to go out and fill the autoloader manually. Rather, it can be loaded inside the hull through a special blast proof hatch, making the loading process more safe and protected for the crew.

In terms of protection, the ZHD-201(T) "Armadillo" utilizes Aluminum 5083 as its armor, making it protected from small arms fire and artillery fragments. It also has additional internal spall liners and double floor armor, which further enhances the crew's protection from anti-tank rockets, mines, and bigger artillery fragmentation. Additionally, 8x individual smoke launchers and NBC protection are also included, enabling the IFV to escape or block the line of sight and fight in radiation or chemical warfare levels. The IFV also has a proper space to include an APS at the remote turret, though it was not included in the base model. The Workers Union of Zelenny Industrial has also developed an armor enhancement package for the Armadillo IFV, which makes it more capable to withstand against modern ATGMs, but greatly reduces the speed to just 56 kph and removes it's parachute drop capabilities. It also has an option to have an ESS mainly for additional protection, or to distract enemies during a maneuver warfare.

General Characteristics:

- Mass: 20 Tons

- Length: 7.6 meters

- Width: 3.4 meters

- Height: 2.3 meters

- Crew: 3

- Speed: 80kph

Armaments:

- Integrated 120mm Gonswanzan Tepoztli Recoilless Gun

- "Witch" RCWS Configuration No.2

Protection:

- Aluminum 5083

- NBC protection

- Air filtration

- Spall liners

- Mine-resistant cover material

- Fire detection and suppression system for the engine compartment

- Detect enemy laser rangefinder locations and the firing position of ATGMs

- Passive Laser Detection Defense System

Specifications:

- Rakata Battle Management System (Interchangeable)

- 3rd gen FLIR and rangefinder.

- 8 smoke charges

- Hunter-killer capability

- C5ISR system

- Communications jammer

- It can share and notify enemy position and information to other armored divisions

The AH-2 is an infantry fighting vehicle developed by the workers of Zelenny Industrial Union, made in response to the Revolutionary Council's demand to upgrade or replace the AH-1 IFV. The new IFV utilizes the KT40-R "Molot" Auto-Cannon from Lauzanne, Mae Geri and Ushiro Geri ATGMs from Nifon, and the Iron Tide APS from Nachmere. The Revolutionary Council has demanded that the IFV must be amphibious, less than 8 meters in length, utilizes an automated turret, topped with advanced standard systems that the Revolutionary Army uses. With those demands in mind, the workers of Zelenny designed an entirely new hull, a new chassis, and an efficient engine, topped with 3rd Gen FLIR, Rakata BMS, NBC protection, spall liners, and laser warning designators, making it integrated with the Janpian Revolutionary Forces or the KTO states. The design was finalized and submitted to the Revolutionary Council as Z-42 and was approved for development as the AH-2.

Like the rest of the Janpian armored fleet, the AH-2 utilizes the Rakata BMS, which allows the IFV to automatically identify and aim at the enemy's weak points, track multiple targets and give recommendations to the crew, coordinate with the rest of the Janpian armored fleet, and determine the threat level. Furthermore, the Rakata BMS also has a context-based aim assist, which can determine any threats and shoot them down based on their danger level. With the laser warning designators, the IFV can also automatically detect enemy firing detection and give time for the crew to deploy smoke, blurring out the missile guidance system or enemy fire control. It also gives them the option to suppress or kill the enemy targeting designators, providing them the capability to fight back or retaliate. As for the armaments, the AH-2 is armed with a 40mm autocannon and a 3rd generation FLIR system, which allows the IFV to identify and fight targets in both day and night conditions. Furthermore, the AH-2 also has an ATGM pop-up launcher that can perform top attacks against heavily armored targets, and conceal itself to reduce the IFV's radar signature on the ground. Another feature of the AH-2 is its hunter-killer capability and C5ISR systems, which advances the IFV into the electronic warfare domain and enable flexibility in both commander and gunner roles. Aside from such systems, the AH-2 also has 2 machine gun ports on each side, giving them all-around protection and an advantage in urban areas. As part of the Revolutionary Council's demand, the AH-2 also has amphibious capability, enabling the IFV to operate and surprise enemy positions, or cross rivers to achieve the goals of operation.

As for defense, the AH-2 has the standard NBC protection system, adding the AH-2's capability to fight in chemical or radiated conditions. It also has spall liners to prevent further spalling from enemy fire to protect the crew inside, and it also has a double floor plate for anti-mine protection. The IFV also utilizes the Iron-Tide APS, which can eliminate RPG and APFSDS rounds before impact and provide the crew with information on the enemy firing direction. As for the armor, the AH-2 utilizes rolled steel composite armor that can be added with a modular armor kit, which adds extra defense and weight for the IFV. Furthermore, the modular armor kit can withstand 25-mm armor-piercing rounds from any direction, providing extra defense and reliability on to the IFV.

Overall, the AH-2 has a total weight of 30 tons, and 42 tons with the modular armor kit. It has a width of 3.4 meters and is capable to run of up to 70 kmph in road conditions. It also has the capability to cross 2.5-meter trenches, and carry up to 9 to 12 personnel, including the 3 maximum crew.

Utilizing the hull and chassis of the AH-2 IFV, the Workers of Zelenny Industrial Union has designed a tracked APC variant for the Revolutionary Army, developing the AH-2A for service. The AH-2A was originally designed to be reliable and modular, capable of operating in Janpian terrain and employing existing platforms to simplify manufacturing, maintenance, and logistics. Its designs were to be compatible with the Revolutionary Army's systems and can be easily integrated into the Janpian Army doctrines. The design was finalized and submitted to the Revolutionary Council as ZAC-32, having a total weight of 36 tons in stock, and 44 tons with the modular armor package installed. It also has a width of 3.4 meters, a length of 7.6 meters, and can operate up to 70 kmph in road conditions. Like the AH-2 IFV, it can cross over 2.5-meter trenches and can carry up to 9 to 12 personnel.

The AH-2A is outfitted with the "Witch" RCWS, which allows the AH-2 to fire back against hostile targets while keeping the crew safe inside. The "Witch" RCWS is an automated 50-caliber machine gun that utilizes a 3rd Gen FLIR, enabling the APC to effectively fight in both day and night conditions. The said variant also utilizes the Rakata BMS, allowing the AH-2A to identify multiple targets, determine the threat levels, and give recommendations to the crew. It can also track multiple targets and receive live outside feeds from the Revolutionaries, putting it on edge in terms of information and planning. The BMS also enables the APC to coordinate with the rest of the Janpian armored fleet, easing communications and streamlining operations. As for the FCS, the "Witch" has an installed context-based aim assist, which enables the AH-2A to respond to any threats and automatically shoot them down based on their danger level. It can also distinguish between friend and foes, and has automatic aim-assist for quicker reactions. Another AH-2A variant was made with no RCWS, having a different internal composition without the dedicated gunner space, allowing more room inside and enabling specialized roles for transport or medical/rescue purposes.

Like the AH-2 IFV, the APC variant utilizes the same NBC protection, making it capable on fighting at both chemical or radiated conditions. Furthermore, it utilizes the same double-floor plate for anti-mine protection, along with rolled steel composite armor that is capable to be fitted with a modular armor kit. Other similar defenses such as spall liners and laser warning designators are also added, giving the APCs the capability to stop smaller fragments and detect laser range finders or missile targeting systems. The designators also enable the APCs to automatically detect the laser direction, giving the crew some additional information about the enemy positions or missiles and giving them the option to retaliate, retreat, or fire smoke grenades to blur out enemy missile guidance or fire controls. The AH-2A is also amphibious, enabling the APC to operate on rivers and perform various operations. The AH-2A can also be equipped with an Iron-Tide APS, which doubles its side protection by directly eliminating RPG or APFSDS rounds and providing the crew with additional information about the enemy's position or firing point.

SMR-5 Stork Marksman Rifle - 5 (OUTDATED | TO BE REFORMATTED

Postby Janpia » Mon Feb 26, 2024 8:03 am

SMR-5 Stork Marksman Rifle 5

Image

The Stork Marksman Rifle - 5, known as SMR-5, was developed by the workers of Stork Armament Union in response to Revolutionary Council demands to replace the outdated SSR-40 Rifle in designated marksman duties. Plans were conceptualized to utilize an existing yet reliable platform, all while chambering 7.62x51 ammunition in compliance with the KTO STANAG. Other requirements also state that the rifle has to be 2 feet at a minimum and ambidextrous for left and right-handed users. The design was finalized and submitted by Sir Ominaschi Satsakov, which then gained the worker's council's approval. The SMR-5 is a semi-automatic, short-stroke piston, gas-operated, rotating bolt rifle to be used by all Revolutionary Force branches. The design is based on the SAR-5 Assault rifle, with the barrel length and chamber configured to match the needed 7.62x51mm ammunition, which was chosen in accordance with the KTO STANAG. The rifle's firing box was also slightly modified, enabling it to fire in single or 3-round bursts, making it ready for any mission involving medium to long range.

The SMR-5 has a total length of 36 inches, which increases the barrel length from the SAR-5's initial 14.4 inch barrel to 18". Because of its shared design with the SAR-5, the SMR-5 has the same ambidextrous charging handle, making it suitable for both left and right-handed users. It also utilizes the same feed system, which can pull the piston backwards, all while maintaining the charging handle's position when firing. The rifle also features an extendable stock and Picatinny rails, which can fit various accessories such as a bipod on the lower receiver or telescopic sights based on the user's choice. Made out of polymer, the SMR-5's effective range is over 800 meters, which is enough to enclose the range between assault rifles and sniper rifles.

The stock version of the rifle weighs 3.12 kg and utilizes a 20-round box magazine. As for the firing process, once the trigger has been pulled, the firing pin charges the propellant and fires the bullet forward, causing the gas to go into an angled chamber and into the gas tube, pushing the piston backwards. The mechanism of the piston then rotates and pushes the bolt backwards, ejecting the spent casing and loading another ammo into the chamber, all while maintaining the charging handle's position and does not push back from the recoil. With such system, the recoil is focused on the stock, making it easy to control for the users. With its chosen 7.62×51mm ammunition, the rifle's accuracy is remarkable due to its higher ballistic coefficient, which indicates a lower negative acceleration or drag.

The SAR-5M2, also known as the Stork Assault Rifle - 5 Model 2, is an assault rifle designed and developed by the Stork Armaments Workers' Union, currently used as standard service rifle of the Janpian Union of Revolutionary Forces. The rifle is chambered in 5.45x39mm cartridge, and it operates on a gas-driven long stroke piston with a rotating bolt action.

Before the SAR-5M2, the Janpian Union of Revolutionary Forces were utilizing the SAR-5 assault rifle as their standard issue rifle. Despite its reliability and durability, many have complained that the rifle is quite bulky and heavy for an average Janpian to hold. Furthermore, it was also considered to be too expensive and contains a lot of parts, making it an issue when it comes to logistics. Hearing these complaints, the Revolutionary Council requested the Stork Armaments Union to develop a 2nd model that is simplified, light, and does not require much parts, while still maintaining its reliability and other capabilities such as its ambidextrous charging handle and safety selector, or its use of picatinny rail.

Development began under the leadership of Schariyuki Haera, a well-known designer of the SKR-7 Assault Rifle. He was given a maximum of 3 years to design and test a rifle before it would be put into production. One of the initial revisions he made was removing the SAR-5's non-reciprocating charging handle, which was deemed to be the reason that made the rifle bulky. He exchanged this with a redesigned bolt carrier that also has an ambidextrous charging handle on top, which can also change the direction of the spent casing ejection depending on which opposite side the charging handle is placed. This improvement alone has reduced the height of the upper receiver, gave the gun a substantially lower weight, as well as decreased the amount of necessary parts. Additionally, this feature allows users to configure the ejection side of their spent casings, enhancing the rifle's ambidextrous design

To make the firearm light, carbon fiber-reinforced polyamide materials were used for some parts of the gun such as its stock, as well as modern polymer materials with steel-reinforcement for the upper and lower receiver. The telescoping stock was also downsized to make it more lighter and suitable for Janpian users. Among other changes was the removal of unnecessary plastic parts and spacing on the mag well, and generally reducing the gun's profile to fit in the requirements. Anything beyond this, the group kept the same cleaning rod, trigger group, as well as the design of the sights. They also kept the barrel entirely as well as its muzzle, enabling trained users to use an already existing bayonet type with its known placement, and allows armorers to streamline barrel logistics during transition.

Like the SAR-5, the SAR-5M2 inherited its ambidextrous concepts such as its charging handle and safety selector. But beyond this, there are different changes and upgrades on the Model 2 that are not found on the SAR-5. Among them is its new ambidextrous bolt, which allows the user to switch the sides where they can charge the rifle in just a two step process, and also change the side where the spent casings can eject. The Model 2 also includes an extended side picatinny rail, giving users with a wider options of placements and attachments to the gun. Regardless, the SAR-5M2 also operated the same way as the original SAR-5, being gas-operated, long stroke piston-driven, rotating bolt action, and fires the same 5.45x39mm round. As the firing pin ignites the ammunition, the bullet propels itself forward, leaving behind an excess gas inside. These gas then goes on to a tube, which then pushes the piston backwards. This piston then rotates and pushes the bolt backwards, ejecting the spent casing and loading another ammo into the chamber. The process repeats itself until the firing pin blocks the hammer or when the magazine is empty. In such case the magazine is empty, the bolt carrier will lock back, and can be unlocked by charging it again.

In 2008, after just 2 years in development and testing, the SAR-5M2 was handed over to Fort Kalinka, where it has left an impression to the Revolutionary Council. Not only did they accomplish it earlier than their expected time, they also completed the requirements and was deemed more than satisfactory. In the same year, the Stork Armaments Union has received approval from all service branches of the Revolutionary Council, and has finally ordered them to commence mass production.

In 2010, with the rise of MLOK systems and expansion of various gun attachments, the Stork Armaments Union made a special modification for the gun known as GEN II, also known as the "Longbow", which featured a swappable free-floating handguard and a replaceable stock with picatinny rail system. The modification also streamlines the access on the gun, allowing the user to easily modify and change the grip, the trigger group, as well as the barrel. Some of the changes include the removal of the cleaning rod and the fixed front sight, new modularly adjustable stock, and added with a adjustable gas block. The GEN II modification is currently in widespread use by JURA and some special intervention teams.

SPR-F (OUTDATED | TO BE REFORMATTED)

Postby Janpia » Mon Feb 26, 2024 8:11 am

SPR - F

Image

The SPR-F is a PDW made for the Revolutionary Forces as part of the JURA proposal, featuring accuracy and firepower nearly similar to that of the AK-47s. The SPR-F, or Stork Portable Rifle-F, is an upgrade of the former SPR-SMG that utilizes 9mm ammunition. The SPR-F is made and designed by the workers' union of Stork, the same labor union that designed and produced the latest SP-7 Pistol. According to one of the workers, the SPR-F is a mixture of Janpian SPR-SMG, and Gonswanzan PDW-75. The SPR-F uses new ammunition, that being the 7.5 FK BRNO, which enhances inter-operation with the rest of the Janpian weaponry and allows the ease of logistics. The SPR-F is capable of firing 800 rounds per minute and is good against enclosed or medium target ranges, no lower than 100 meters. This allows the user to unleash a dangerous hellfire against closed targets and secure the kill with ease.

With the 7.5FK ammunition, it has the capability to penetrate light or medium armored targets, making it effective against well-equipped targets. The picatinny rail allows the user to fit in BUIS sights, flashlights, lasers, handgrips, and a wide range of compatible attachments. The select fire is also ambidextrous in design, enabling both left-handed and right-handed users to switch fire rates in a quick manner. The SPR-F is a roller-delayed blowback, closed bolt action PDW, which lessens recoil velocity and increases reliability. The bolt and the charging handle makes the PDW ergonomic and easy to use.

The SPR is mainly used by the Public Marshals SOG, and as a primary weapon at gun ranges.

SP-7 (OUTDATED | TO BE REFORMATTED)

Postby Janpia » Mon Feb 26, 2024 8:12 am

SP-7 Pistol

Image

The SP-7 is a pistol designed and manufactured by the workers of Stork Industries Union, made in service for all Revolutionary Forces as part of the JURA advancement proposal. It fires a 7.5 FK BRNO round, which is much stronger, faster, accurate, and more powerful than a 9.19mm parabellum round. The SP-7 has much more stopping power than the usual 9mm ammo that the Revolutionary formerly used, and has an effective range of 75–150 meters, all while retaining more kinetic energy at that range than a 9×19mm can generate at the muzzle/point blank range. It has been noted by some workers that it has the same recoil power as the .45 ACP pistols and is terminally effective as the 7.62 x 39 Russian/5.56 NATO cartridges, making it deadly and powerful. Based on the test, the SP-7 is accurate out to 100 meters with a flat trajectory and was able to consistently hit a 100×100 mm (3.93-sq.in.) target at 100 meters. The SP-7 is an all-steel, short-recoil operated, semi-automatic pistol that is the service pistol for all Revolutionary forces, giving them the firepower and reliability that they always need. It is rumored that the decision to use the 7.5 FK ammunition came from the Revolutionary Council, with the purpose of having an interoperability capability with the Gonswanzan forces, simplifying the KTO military logistics, and having a pistol with enough stopping power against an enemy target.

SAR-5 (OUTDATED | TO BE REFORMATTED)

Postby Janpia » Mon Feb 26, 2024 8:14 am

Stork Assault Rifle - 5 (SAR-5)

Image

As part of the JURA modernization proposal, a new rifle has been developed to replace the older rifles used by the Revolutionary forces and their service branches. The SAR-5, or known as the Stork Assault Rifle - 5, is a next-generation rifle that uses 5.45x39mm ammunition, allowing less recoil and added range, making it suited for long-range gun fights. The gun is made and designed by the workers of Stork Union and Zelenny Union, with a collaborative design from Zhuiko Remenus and Yulavka Toryi.

The rifle itself is ambidextrous as seen from the rifle's charging handle, making it comfortable for both left-handed and right-handed users. The SAR-5 is a short-stroke piston, gas-operated, closed-rotating bolt action rifle, which makes it similar to western designs such as the scar rifle or the M4. As the firing pin charges the propellant and fires the bullet forwards, the gas from the launch goes into the angled chamber and into the gas tube, which then pushes the piston backwards. The mechanism of the piston then rotates and pushes the bolt backwards, ejecting the spent casing and loading another ammo into the chamber, all while maintaining the charging handle's position and does not push back from the recoil. As the bolt recoils in towards the stock, it pushes the hammer back, making it ready to hit the firing pin once again. With such mechanism, the recoil is focused on to the stock, allowing the users to effectively control its recoil away from their arms. Its overall weight is 7.3lb, or 3.29kg, with a rate of fire ranging from 600 to 800 rounds per minute. The SAR-5 utilizes 5.45x39mm rounds, which allow the gun to fire smoothly, provide a light recoil impulse, create a flat trajectory, and provide a good terminal performance. In terms of attachments, the Picatinny rail allows the users to carry a variety of attachments such as grenade launchers, flashlights, and advanced optics, all depending on the user's choice. It has 3 fire selectors, which are safe, burst, and auto, providing flexibility, and accuracy in different ranges. The SAR-5 features new and better ergonomics than the former predecessor rifles, taking the stock design of the SKR-7, and picatinny placements of the SAR-3. The SAR-5 is the main rifle of choice throughout the entire branch of the Revolutionary Forces.

Long live the Janpian Union of Revolutionary States!

SKR-7 Rifle

Sturdy, Reliable, and Ergonomic – these are the words that perfectly describes the SKR-7 Assault Rifle, a Janpian variation of the infamous Kalashnikov series of rifles. Also known as the Stork Kalashnikov Rifle-7.62, this automatic rifle fires a 7.62x39mm round similarly to the AK-47s, being accurate and deadly for up to 350 meters with enough stopping power, thanks to the ammunition's energy and superior velocity. The rifle's development began in the early years of the 5th era, with the intent of replacing the standard issue rifles of the Revolutionaries from SM92-R straight-pull rifles, to a fully automatic rifle that also has a semi-automatic option. During this period, the SM92-R has passed its zenith as a standard-issued rifle design, and there was a need for a cheap and reliable automatic rifle that could be mass-produced; one that is easy for the users to operate, clean, and maintain. This was also seen necessary as a way to modernize the arsenal of the Revolutionary Branches and to take advantage of the new intermediate cartridge designs. At that time, the effects of the civil war was still fresh and the following years was unstable for the newly established Party. Furthermore, the Revolutionary Council was also seeking to evolve their squad doctrines by trying to lessen the burden of machine gunners and equalize the rapid fire duties to the rest of the squad, taking their lessons from the recent civil war. This was also based on their study that around 70% of combat engagements during the civil war occured at around 300 meters, making it necessary for the rifleman to have a high rate of fire, rather than just providing cover for the machinegunners who mainly deals the damage.

The Revolutionary Council and its branches at that time were utilizing 7.92x57mm rounds, and during the design stages, they were presented with two intermediate cartridges: the .223 Remington, and the 7.62x39mm. Both of which are perfect at balancing recoil and firepower, and the two of them have passed the minimum standard range requirement. In the end, the 7.62x39mm was chosen over the .223 ammunition, mainly due to it's high-powered performance and strong stopping power in the Revolutionary Council's required range.

Taking inspiration from the Kalashnikov Rifle, the workers of Stork Armaments Union drafted a similar short stroke gas piston design from the VZ. 58 rifle, slightly altering the rod to fit in the gas tube length, along with utilizing a modified AK-47 receiver and selector mechanism. The same goes for the magazine release, taking the signature AK lever to lock the 7.62x39mm banana magazine in place, making the rifle capable to utilize all Kalashnikov style magazines. Due to the Revolutionary Council's recent ambidextrous design philosophies, a top case extractor was also used for the rifle, allowing it to remove the spent casing upwards, giving comfort or assurance to both left and right handed users. Furthermore, the charging handle and the selector were also made available for both sides, allowing the users to operate and achieve similar performance in terms of shooting, aiming, or reloading, making it ergonomic and reliable for all kinds of users. All the specifications makes the rifle capable of firing and cycling up to 800 rounds per minute, with an effective range of 300 to 1,000 thanks to its sight adjustment. At a loaded weight of 3.7 kilograms, this rifle is nearly similar, albeit slightly better than the SM92-R straight-pull rifle, which has a weight of 3.7 to 4.1 kilograms.

In total, there are 4 variations of the SKR-7 Assault Rifle developed in the past decades before being retired or put on reserves:

SKR-7 Assault Rifle: The original standard design, this variant features a Janpian laminated wooden maple furniture for the handguard, stock, and handgrips, making it cheap, easy to produce, and easier to maintain as intended. The original design uses a milled bolt and receiver, but was exchanged for a stamped one to lessen the weight and to ease the production.

SKR-7 Model 1 (SKR-7M1): The SKR-7M1 is a slightly modified iteration of the SKR-7 Assault Rifle, which uses an updated stock pin modification instead of the original fixed wooden stock. This enables the users to swap the stock of the rifle and make it available to be removed or modified, giving way for foldable or extendable stocks and making it flexible and modifiable for the users.

SKR-7 Model 2 (SKR-7M2): The SKR-7M2 is a "modified" variant of the SKR-7 rifle, albeit utilizing a full polymer furniture by replacing the stamped metal parts and wooden laminate in order to simplify and modernize the production. As a result, this lowers the weight of the rifle, making it weigh around 3.1 kilograms instead of the original 3.7 kg. The polymer furniture also extends the service life of the rifle if given with proper maintenance, rather than using cosmoline coating for the wood, and other preventive maintenance for the metal.

SKR-7 Model 2A (SKR-7M2A): The most latest SKR-7 variation, the Model 2A variant is based from the Model 2, although with new features such as a fixed gas tube to allow the placements of picatinny rails, new muzzle designs to efficiently dispel excess gases, new placements for the sights, and picatinny rails on the handguard and the sides to allow a wide variety of attachments.

Long live the Janpian Union of Revolutionary States!

SM92-R (OUTDATED | TO BE REFORMATTED)

Postby Janpia » Mon Feb 26, 2024 8:17 am

Stork Rifle (SM92-R)

Image
Image

The Stork Rifle or SM92-R (Stork Model 92 - Rifle), was a bolt-action rifle made by the Stork Hunting Company, intended as a sporting rifle for the elite and noble classes. It was a popular hunting rifle mainly due to its straight-pull action, making it fast to reload the cartridge into the chamber. This, along with the company's customary wooden choices, made it popular among the nobles and elite who often used the Janpian maple wood as the body of the rifle. The Stork rifle was also presented to the Emperor, who was delighted after shooting down a stork at Helgo Bay from his balcony at the Darlinburg Imperial Palace. Following the presentation, the Stork Rifle was adopted as the standard issue rifle of the Janpian Imperial Forces. The primary wooden frame of the rifle is made of walnut or birch wood, which was plentiful around the Balhore region where the Stork Company was used to operate.

The Stork Rifle was used in various conflicts from the 4th era Janpian civil war and was used in many conflicts until the introduction of the SKR-7 Assault Rifle. With the company overlords replaced by a worker's union, the Stork's industrial means, along with its products, were manufactured by a labor union, producing armaments for the Janpian Union of Government Worker's Party. During this era, the Stork Rifle did not undergo many changes or modifications other than slight adjustments to the barrel cleaner, the type of wood used, and the rifle's stock.

Stork Rifle with bayonet attachment

The rifle shoots a powerful 7.92x57mm cartridge, which was plentiful at that time thanks to the colonizers' leftovers. The said ammo also has high versatility and performance, having an improved maximum effective range and a smoother trajectory, compared to the formerly issued ammunition. It is perfect as a marksman rifle since it provides an efficient range of over a kilometer, making it deadly and efficient on medium to long ranges. Being the universal main battle rifle of the Janpian Imperial Army, the rifle features a birch or a walnut and beech laminate finish, along with customizable sights for the user. The rifle uses a solid one-piece laminated plywood stock, which is much more durable and stronger while also being cheap and fast to produce. The steel and cupped buttplate were added by the Stork Worker's Union, adding comfort and better recoil control for the user. The Stork rifle also comes with a bayonet accessory that is easy to attach or remove at the end of the rifle, along with a telescopic sight for sniping purposes. The older issued rifles have an imperial symbol stamped at the receiver, along with the serial number which indicates when the rifle was manufactured. However, these are different compared to the Revolutionary-issued rifles, with the afternoon sun symbol, the serial number indicating the date it was produced, and the rifle's factory line.

In modern times, the rifle is still being produced for public ranges, or reserve stockpiling. The type of wood remains the same, though the end-user can specify which wood shall be used for the rifle's body frame.

Long live the Janpian Union of Revolutionary States!

SM92-C (OUTDATED | TO BE REFORMATTED)

Postby Janpia » Mon Feb 26, 2024 8:19 am

Stork Carbine Rifle

Image

The Stork Carbine Rifle is a derivative variant of the SM92 rifle, having a shortened 26-inch barrel to save resources and make mass production more cost-effective. The early version of the Stork Carbine was produced in lower numbers due to the surplus of birch wood and materials, but over time, the rifle was produced in great quantities as demand for SM92 rose, especially during the 4th era civil war when it was used significantly. As it seems, the war demanded the rifles to be produced in a quick manner, all while keeping the rifle's acclaimed quality. Over 14 million Stork Carbines were produced at the conclusion of the war, with an extra million produced prior to it. This is in contrast to the 8 million SM92-R made during the war, with an additional 20 million before the war. The Stork Carbine Rifle and the SM92-R were still used by the Revolutionaries until the introduction of the SKR-7 Assault Rifle, prompting the retirement of the said rifles as Janpian main battle rifles. In the meantime, both rifles were still seen in high regard for their smooth action, and the accuracy it offers.

Like the original SM92-R, the Stork Carbine uses a straight-pull action, which shortens the cycle, making it fast and efficient to reload the ammunition into the chamber. The rifle uses 7.92x57mm ammunition, which provides a flat trajectory and an effective range of over a kilometer, making it deadly and versatile. Its magazine can fit up to, 5x ammunition, which can be loaded via stripper clip. Like the SM92, the Stork Carbine uses a durable one-piece laminated plywood stock, topped with steel and cupped buttplate added by the Stork Worker's Union. It can also be attached with a bayonet accessory that can be annexed or removed at the end of the rifle, along with a telescopic sight for sniping purposes.

Early variants of the Stork Carbine have the imperial symbol and serial number stamped at the receiver, while the later variants have the afternoon sun symbol (the one on Janpian revolutionary flag), along with the factory line number. Given that the early variants are produced in lower numbers, the imperial era stork carbines are much rarer and more expensive than the later revolutionary variants. The difference between the early variants (3rd Imperial era) and the later variants (4th Revolution era) is that the latter variants have the complete set, unlike the later variants which utilize a simplified system, cheaper firing pin and spring, removed bolt stop spring, and a modified bolt knob set. This was done to cut the budget for the production of the carbine and to prioritize the better materials for the SM92-R. In modern times, the rifle is still being produced in its complete form, which is now used as a recreational gun for public use, or for reserve armory.

SM92-RM (OUTDATED | TO BE REFORMATTED)

Postby Janpia » Mon Feb 26, 2024 8:20 am

Stork Rifle (Modernized)

Image

The Stork Model 92 - Modernized (SM92-M) is an improved variant of the Stork straight-pull action rifle (SM92-R), adding new features such as a magazine well, a modern picatinny rail, and an improved ejection system, all in a new polymer body. This was made to further prolong the service life of the SM92-R, which was known for its reliability, accuracy, and proficiency, making it a favorite rifle of the revolutionaries. However, with the introduction of the SKR-7 Assault Rifles during the 14th year of the 5th era, the old SM92-R rifles were phased out in favor of the new rifles.

Given the lack of an SKR-7 production line at the time, Stork workers collaborated with the Revolutionary Council to develop and modernized SM92-M rifle to extend its service and conform it to newer standards, thereby serving as a temporary weapon for the revolutionary forces. The SM-92M kept the straight-pull action but added a new firing mechanism assembly and a magazine well, which allowed the rifle to load a 7.92x57 cartridge magazine. Given the availability of 7.92x57 at the time, the rifle was feasible and used for many decades before being restricted to reserve forces. Nowadays, the SM92-M is used as a marksman sniper rifle and for recreational or sporting activities such as shooting or hunting. It is also used in limited numbers by marksman squads, training, or reserves. The rifle kept its bayonet lug and cleaning rod, making it capable of being cleaned on the field and prepared for close-quarters combat. The rifle is slightly modified, improving the ejection port, and adding a cover to the upper and lower band which protects the barrel and makes it uniformed. Picatinny rails were also added, making it capable to fit in various accessories such as modern scopes, laser sights, flashlights, and among others. This also made the rifle capable to fit in a bipod, making it perfect for marksman purposes. A polymer piece is also added at the stock's comb, adding comfort to the user when aiming down its sights.

JP-1 (OUTDATED | TO BE REFORMATTED)

Postby Janpia » Mon Feb 26, 2024 8:22 am

JP-1 Tank

Image

Developed by the Zelenny Industrial Group, the JP-1 was the main battle tank of the revolution, serving JURA for decades. The tank has been continuously upgraded to meet modern standards and stay one step ahead of its enemies. At a medium weight of 54 tons, the tank boasts a length of 9.97 meters, a width of 3.6 meters, and a height of 2.30 meters, making it able pass on most of the Janpian infrastructure. It was designed to replace the MT-70 "Charcoal" tank and advance the Revolution in modern armored combat, taking the Janpian terrain into consideration, which is mainly flat with rolling hills and forests as obstacles. With those in mind, the designers prioritized the tank to have long-range capabilities, with an efficient engine and economy to keep it running at 70kph to keep up in transport or combat situations. This makes the JP-1 effective for any operations that requires high maneuverability or swift actions.

Crewed by three or four members, the JP-1 tank has designated roles for the gunner, commander, and driver, with the option of an additional machine gunner or second commander. The fourth role is optional and serves primarily as backup for the crew. The tank's armaments are equally impressive, with a stabilized 130mm SAUT-130M2 as the main armament, allowing for highly accurate shooting while on the move. This accuracy is further enhanced by the Rakata BMS, a system that automatically tracks multiple targets, evaluates their threat level, and provides recommendations to the crew. In addition, the BMS has a database for the tank's fire control systems, which collates information and allows the gun to automatically aim at the enemy vehicle's weak points. The Rakata BMS also facilitates the sharing of information with other allied forces, improving its inter-operability capabilities and situational awareness.

As for the protection, the JP-1 is protected with the Yagerov Composite Armor T2, shielding the crew and vital components from enemy fire. Additionally, the tank is equipped with 60,000 EMP Amperes Protection, air filtration, NBC protection, and spall liners, protecting it from any CBRN, ATGM, or Electronic Warfare attacks. It also has a fire detection and suppression system for the engine compartment, which could remove engine fires and save other components. Other notable features of the JP-1 is its low IR profile, 360 digitalized commander and gunner FLIR, laser rangefinders, waterproof hull and systems, 8 smoke charges, and communications jammer for ambushing.
