A series of 40 AGM-159 guided missiles streaked in towards Markson Intelligence Base from the north, the Hypersonic Olivacian missiles making a beeline for the Sibi base's communications arrays and anti-air/missile defences to clear the way for the larger Allanean weapons to cause as much havoc as possible.

Markson Intelligence Base

The explosions vibrated up the valley as enemy missiles failed to make it to the base, but the soldiers stationed there knew what it meant and began to pray. The ground shook as missiles crashed into the radio and radar arrays. The base then began to constantly shake as the avalanche came down the mountain like a true force of nature. Markson was eliminated and with it the last hope of retaining command from New Alexandria of the Frontline. In New Alexandria, President Kutuzov swore as his feed broke up with the frontline.

Border Frontline, Bravo Sector 2.5 miles East of New Protograd

The border was narrow here the land stretched thin over a isthmus that was bordered on either side by the twin great lakes of Pro and Ifta. But that wasn't why this area of the frontline was important. It was the 2500 soldiers marching across the Isthmus to the enemy frontline under a white flag that drew peoples attention. With no communication from home the soldiers of the 9th Regiment had decided to surrender. Whilst the 10th Regiment of 3500 men had filled the gap the frontline was weakening as surrenders began to spread and the Sibi army slowly crumbled.

Olivacian Border Frontline, Bravo Sector

The 9th Regiment's surrender came as a bit of a surprise to the Olivacian soldiers holding this sector of the front, not having expected such an abrupt surrender by such a large contingent of the Sibi military.

With this being further compounded by more and more Sibi forces surrendering, the Olivacian advance would be bogged down by the sheer amount of surrenders to process.

The Interior, City of Golgotha

Golgotha was quiet that day in December. The war had been raging two weeks now and reports were scattered in returns to the homefront from the frontline but the city knew it was safe behind its vast 19th century fortress walls and with its garrison of the 29th Longbard Infantry Battalion. But today would be anything, but quiet.

The sound of the truck engine was the first thing to startle the people around the governance quarter of Golgotha. Then the garbage truck came round the corner spilling trash onto the floor as it accelerated towards the barriers in place in front of the Council offices. The truck hit the barriers whilst nearby armed police attempted to stop the next two that came around the corner. Gunfire roared in the air as rifles fired at the trucks but soon they had exploited the gap made by the first truck and the other had driven into the square before men had dived out of them in hazmat suits and opened fire on the police. The police knew what was coming next and began to flee, many were cut down and the civilians in the area could only weep as the trucks exploded with liquid tiberium bombs and the chemical, gas and fire spread engulfing the square in fire.

In the capital the report reach Field Marshal Kutuzov. He sighed, "The Black Hand are resurgent then?" He asked the intelligence officer who nodded. "Two fronts to fight and I can hardly control my frontline forces. This is going to be Hell."


OOC: Tiberium is from the Command and Conquer games and I brought it into my nation in an RP i ran a few months back. It is a crystal normally that sucks nutrients and raw materials from the earth making it incredibly valuable but also toxic with the gases it gives off and other effects the crystal cause. The reason southern Sibinaf is a desert is that the tiberium was seeded there by the terrorist/insurgent group the Black Hand in the 90's and it has spread widely in the south where there is a constant war between government backed miners and Black Hand cells trying to gain control of the fields. In turn there is a Tiberium power plant in New Alexandria that powers the entire Eastern Seaboard of Sibinaf.

In the skies high over Golgotha, an Olivacian US-37 scout drone watched the chaos unfold below, its optics and sensors gathering this crucial information and sending it back to Olivacian military command and control nodes for analysis.

The news of Sibinaf's surrender would be heralded with cheers of celebration across the UOSR, with many mobilized units standing down and either returning to their posts or back home on leave.

As celebrations commemorating the victory spread across the nation, the UOSR's government would publicly list its demands it wished to see enforced in the upcoming peace talks.

OOC: So the limiting of the Sibi Military may cause problems due to the Black Hand Insurgency in the south. Criminal Trials are fine I think the new civilian government would agree to Kutuzov and his chief advisors being tried. Democracy is welcome but I think you would have to deploy troops to oversee a free and fair election and the allied comittee is good but you need allies it seems to be just you and me in here now?

But the spectre of the peace talks loomed over everything. In total 600,000 soldiers had died from the Sibinaf military and an unknown number had surrendered to the enemy army. Whilst communication had finally been restored to the Frontline the nations appetite for fighting had run dry and forces were being redirected to Golgotha to deal with the crisis there. President Archebald looked at the map of the nation he was now in charge of and sighed. "We should contact the allied nations." He finally said to the gathered cabinet. The minister of finance nodded whilst the Minister of Defence looked concerned at the papers in front of him. "What would you like us to say sir?" The Minister of Communication finally said back to his President. Archebald looked around the room. The pictures had been smashed by the coup forces and many small rooms within the Presidential palace had been looted of artifacts dating back hundreds of years. "That we will host the peace talks if they will allow it?" Archebald finally said picking a picture of President Leopold and his family up off the Desk. He sighed and wondered where the former President was after his rescue from Prison. "Of course sir." The MOD said and began to type on a laptop he had set up on the table in front of him before the Ministe rof Communication placed a hand on his shoulder, "Allow me, Comrade." He said simply.

   Due to lingering concerns regarding malicious, anti-democracy forces such as the Black Hand Insurgency, that would most likely take measures to prevent these talks from happening, or attempt to disrupt them by any means possible, it currently does not seem to be the best option to meet in Sibinaf at this time. Thusly we propose meeting in a city along our shared border, to provide a feeling of representation to both sides while not unduly compromising safety.

OOC: Yeah that works, we can probably limit the military but still leave it capable of domestic defence. I am thinking of having a full blown ethnic civil war break out the two ethnic groups in Sibinaf after this conflict as a result of the loss.

 We agree to your offer to meet in a border city. Are there any that were not affected by the recent conflict? From the few reports we had from the front we heard a lot of the border cities had been hit hard by artillery strikes on both sides of the borders. We hope we can send a delegation within the week to a meeting to discuss peace. We are currently in need of help as a full scale uprising is beginning to take place in Golgotha so we would like to secure peace so we can direct more troops there, without fear of a resumption of our conflict.

Golgotha City

The army units had arrived a few days ago, but had been unable to get into the city centre. The barricades and radiation that had arisen after the Tiberium bomb attack in the city were stopping the army from entering. Reports of ethnic cleansing were leaking out with Sibi Refugees who informed the army troopers that Colonial militia had formed in the city and were taking control of the streets and forcing the Native Sibis out of the city and into the desert. The army brought trucks and buses to take these refugees who had been forced from the city to a camp a few miles north and began to setup to besiege Golgotha. The Black Hand moved out to raid the army positions.

Private Sasha Pravek was sat in his foxhole as the night came in and the sun set over the horizon. Sasha was holding his AK and looking over the lip of the foxhole across the desert to the city. He could see a Black Hand flag flying over the ruins of a building that kept being used as a firing position for attacks on his company's position. The city was quiet tonight. The sound of gunfire didn't fill the air and the smell of tank fuel was stale not fresh. The T-100 tank that was setup in the middle of the companys position sat watching the city scanning with its thermal sight. In turn several UAZs began to come upto the position and Sasha got up and moved over where his squad sergeant was as the three vehicles drew up level with his position. "Pravek!" Sasha turned and saw his sister Tanya charging towards him. She barrelled into him and the two fell to the floor. "Ah you know each other?" The Captain who stepped out of the vehicle next smiled as he looked at the two siblings embracing. "Sergeant Malek our company is ordered to secure a strong point in the city. Prepare the squads." Malek nodded and moved off shouting at the other foxholes gathered around. "We begin the offensive to secure the city tonight." The Captain said to Pravek who nodded and ran off to get his kit.

Sasha was pointman as the First squad advanced down the street. They had moved through the desert quietly and quickly before reaching the destroyed building with the Black Hand flag flying. With swift efficency the Black Hand and Colonial Militia in the building were dispatched with knives and silenced pistols. "Radio." Said Sergeant Malek making the radio operator run over and hand him his handset which the sergeant spoke into quickly and then smiled. "Okay first squad move out."

He was nervous for these bringers of peace to leave as he feared the UOSR would call for war crime trials against the generals and the now missing Field Marshal Kutuzov, who had vanished two days prior to the final message being sent. Now he feared he would become the victim of a coup and found himself faced with an increasingly aggressive Communist Party and the Far Right arguing and their supporters openly fighting in the streets of New Alexandria and the Northern Cities of Prayrika and New Aberwyth. His new police force had been deployed but they had only increased the tension in the three cities. He was looking to remobilise the Military Police who had looked over the streets of Sibinafs cities for the past two decades, but he feared military force would cause more crisis.

"Delegates of the Sibinaf Government," Archebald began, "We look to you to bring peace and a stability to this region once more. Our nation has lost so many young souls in this futile war and now we must make amends to our people and the people of the UOSR. Be prepared for a hard fought peace from these talks, but we must make a lasting peace." With that the gathered crowd applauded, slightly lack luster in nature, and the President dispatched the delegates to the airport.

The roar of jet engines filled the air as the MiG flew low over the city before dropping its munitions on the target in the City Centre. The flash of the bomb lit up the early morning sky and Sergeant Malek fired his AK-74 full auto as he burst through a door into a building around the square. The CBRN suits had come out now and the men were fighting hard in gas masks and radiation protective equipment. The wreckage of the tiberium bomb truck could be seen and the sight of crystals beginning to sprout in the centre of the city meant the army would have to withdraw and isolate this area soon. Amazingly the Black Hand in this area of the city wore no protective gear and some appeared to be tattooed with Tiberium based ink the glow showing through their white skin. Malek and his platoon fought for three hours in the city centre before being withdrawn and sent to decontamination units in the rear. Golgotha was still a war zone though and he and his men would soon be on the frontline again.

Nenandell International Airport was abuzz with activity, with work crews scrambling to clear the last pieces of rubble from the runway in preparation to receive government delegates from both sides of the recent war

The plane had been orbiting the Airport for half an hour before asking for permission to land when it looked the runway was clear enough. Coming in hard and fast the Plane carrying the delegation landed and the plane taxied to the terminal. The four ambassadors climbed out of their seats and behind a shield of twelve PMC soldiers they entered the terminal and looked for the welcoming committee. "Over there." One of the Private Military contractors said pointing to a group of people.

The lead Olivacian delegate pulled out a few papers, passing them across the table for the Sibi delegation to read. The terms printed on them could be generously described as more than expected, but less than hoped.

The lead Sibi delegate read the document. It was as he had feared, they wished to limit their military and also try the Military government heads as war criminals. He sighed and put his hands on his head as he leant back and looked at the delegates. "We will accept." With that he signed and peace came to the region.
