We don't, but our members are free to join foreign militaries if they'd like. Our government is officially neutral with regards to the raider/defender side of NS.

Social Liberal Union | Statement on Solidarity
The Social Liberal Union (SLU), a proud and active Member Region of NSLeft, condemns in the strongest terms the recent unprovoked and unjustifiable attack on the peaceful Frontier region Solidarity. Our region, alongside others within NSLeft, stands as a victim of this aggression, having been unjustly caught in the crossfire of conflicts unrelated to our principles and objectives. The assault on Solidarity is an affront to the very essence of unity and cooperation that both our region and NSLeft as a whole are built upon.

We express our profound dismay and bewilderment at the audacity of the aggressors, who have tarnished their supposed commitment to "defending" by attacking a region committed to the promotion of pan-leftist dialogue and understanding. It is deeply concerning that these attackers have sought to involve peaceful leftist regions such as ours in this conflict, causing confusion among our residents. Our community is resolute in maintaining our commitment to peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and our longstanding constitutional military neutrality.

Claims that Solidarity is a "colony" of The Communist Bloc are unequivocally false. It is a shame that this unwarranted act of aggression against Solidarity was based on such lies, as PRAF ended its organized operational support of Solidarity on 9 July 2023:
Mlakhavia — 07/09/2023 5:27 PM (US Central Time)
Heya, here to let you know that PRAF will be initiating a staged withdrawal from Solidarity effective immediately.

Even at that time, PRAF only provided seven (7) endorsements to the Solidarity project:
Kavagrad — 07/09/2023 6:14 PM (US Central Time)
@Mlakhavia How many endos do you currently have tied up in Solidarity, just so I have an idea of what we're losing?

Mlakhavia — 07/09/2023 6:19 PM (US Central Time)
By my immediate glance-count ~7 remaining at this moment

As such, this occupation must be brought to a swift end in the interests of the broader NSLeft community, which has built and maintained Solidarity through organic, grassroots efforts, notably led by comrades from The Leftist Assembly. We in the Social Liberal Union stand united with our fellow NSLeft Member Regions in resolute solidarity as we call upon the international community of NationStates to recognize the injustice that has transpired and to denounce this egregious aggression.

In solidarity,

Courelli
World Assembly Delegate

PRAF provided substantially more than 7 endorsements for a lot of time, as evidenced by Kava having more than 50 endorsements for awhile. They only abandoned their garrison so they could project power elsewhere and maintain optics about whose project this was perceived to be, per Sleet’s own admission.

Indeed they were only comfortable doing this because Sleet incorrectly believe that we would not invade Solidarity due to a(n incorrect) perception of PPO protection. Sleet’s own invasion all but guaranteed this would not be the case.

Where was this concern for TNP after it was invaded? For all the regions PRAF helped destroy? Absent.

I can sympathize with your perspective, but I cannot yield. TCB started a war. Sleet hopped on to TNP’s forum to defend her actions and declare that we shouldn’t "fuck with the bloc". It’s what she asked for.

Where was the condemning of the raid on Greater Sahara, a raid which PRAF/TCB took massive part in, destroying a genuinely innocent region, even by their modus operandi? Where's the complaints that TCB still has embassies with the region in Leningrad Airfield, despite being ruled an illegal raid by their government? Or is it only a problem when you are caught in the crossfire of your allies' poor choices?

A most condemnable attack on the sovereignty of our friends. This will not be forgotten. We stand beside our embassy friends during this crisis and hope that the invading forces can be removed as soon as possible

It was a my b moment, not TCB at large.

We apologised for this quite sincerely. Please do not spread false narratives.

Presumably, there was less concern expressed from the Social Liberal Union because:

(1) The attack in the North Pacific was a del-tip, in this case you've seized the actual delegacy and you're now claiming it as a colony. These cases are not remotely proportional.

(2) Solidarity is a leftist region, TNP is not, and NSLeft is a leftist organization. I would expect associates of NSLeft to be primarily concerned with the security of other regions within the leftist umbrella.

*shrugs* This seems like school-yard bullying. It's especially sad to see a few veteran defenders on this forum who would have defended Solidarity in the past now defending the invasion and griefing of Solidarity.

Albeit from the vantage of an outsider, the defending movement appears deeply lost.

If you were sincere, you would've resigned. It cost you an embassy with the greatest leftist frontier and one of the most successful frontiers overall, if that doesn't warrant a resignation I don't know what does. Also, don't speak about sincerity when you've been taking shots at other people for not being "sincere". That word has no meaning anymore coming from you. Please don't spread falls narratives.

Ill give you the benefit of the doubt on the frontier installation, since that was under wraps for everyone. It still doesn't explain the fact that Leningrad Airfield has embassies with it.

very transparent how this thread is devolving into random nitpicks about TCB to avoid acknowledging the actual issue at hand (defenders harming gp-uninvolved nsleft regions who are innocent by their own standards)

I think it's the general standard of responsibility taken by raiders and what not of late. Are we seriously going to pretend that the raid of Equilism back last year wasn't raiders (I don't know if TCB were on this particular op and it doesn't matter for the point I'm making) applying this sort of collective responsibility principle to the ally of someone who raided their own thing--in this case Warzone Asia? (And was connected to their other big bad bogeyman TNP no less!) And I certainly don't think you can sit here with a straight face and say that another raid**, that of the IDU just over a week ago, was not also that same collective responsibility applied when TCB's allies didn't get their way.

Point being: regardless of the merits of SLU's complaint, and as (along with TLA) like The GP uninvolved region for pretty much all of its existence, holding allies of regions responsible for the sins of their sinning allies is a principle that's been enshrined by those selfsame allies into a tool rather than, as previous, a norm violation. Y'all might have some ground to complain, your erstwhile allies who dragged your frontier into this do not. If anything, Iota should be apologizing to you, Courelli.

Tl;dr, I'm sympathetic insofar as it is possible to be for someone who's sat on the sidelines, but it's not as if this is the big norms violation those crying wolf believe it to be.

**Corrected for the record.

No idea what you're saying here, but TCB did not participate in the raid of the IDU. Take the SQHQ logs:

Pan Kath — 30/08/2023 00:16
If we raid a random wa region after that it's gonna come off as kind of pathetic
"oh you don't want our help, oh... umm... get tagged"
even if it's blatantly not true that's the line people are gonna push - TCB attacks random region after failed negotiations
anyways im not even really opposed to tagging them they don't REALLY seem like people who'd like us tbh - however idk i don't want this to set a precedent or smth

iota — 30/08/2023 00:24
I agree w pan uncomfortable more i think about it
We are not raiders
Retaliation should be at tnp only
Dragging in randoms worse for our fa only paints us as villains cruel to uninvolved natives
@prafant garde am against

TCB actively took the stance of keeping this between us and TNP, not involving any allies or whatever. Sad to see that TNP can't be held up to the same standard of decency.

EDIT: oops, puppet. -mlak

It's an incredible pattern I'm noticing that every time "defenders" raid a region, they claim that the raided party should be apologising to the raiders! They did this to Warzone Trinidad as well. And for what? The absolute audacity of them to make this request. As Iota said, they're being incredibly transparent in their blatant hypocrisy. Their only real argumentative tactic is shouting it louder. And that still unfortunately doesn't make your arguments more sound or based in truth. Then again, NSGP has always seemingly been more of a elementary school playground then a hall of rich debate.
