PUPPET DECLARATION: Corporate City One

Manager: Satripy the Coordinator. Manager, Sea Dome University, Sea Peoples League 1
NOTE: SDU won the only season of SDFA, which has since been merged with CCFAL to become SPL. Divisions are named as in 'Ligue 1' etc, but in English. viewtopic.php?p=39830021#p39830021

Already familiar to many of the players as a coach and/or opponent, StC brings a certain level of easy charm and calm authority that is, all too often, sorely lacking in Matrian football. A 32 year old fixture on campus with no apparent plans to graduate, Sat can often be seen auditing classes in many different departments, but notoriously submits work to precious few of them. She is defined as much by her lust for knowledge as her disdain for the normal processes of having one's knowledge recognized. Satripy is known to bend an ear or two regarding her favorite topic, sound engineering, and she really bends them. Though she expects rigorous training, in-depth knowledge of opponents from video, and a high standard of excellence, she requires all her players at SDU to play at least one more sport and challenges them to expand their minds off the field like she does, too. She is highly regarded in MSD but, given the lack of international development of the Matrian game and her club's horrifying 1-6-5 FA Cup record, expectations are well tempered at the same time.

UPDATE: Satripy the Coordinator has been hired by Fluid Time Corporation, Taxhavn to manage FZK Image and inject her creative and original style into the trillionaires' playground, effective as soon as the Lemon Sharks exit the DBC. All of us here at SDFA wish her great success and ask only that she try her best and send us back some unique seafood.
Of course, her earnings abroad will be subject to eye-watering taxation rates. Like, she's probably building the next stadium with her income singlehandedly.

Default formation: 3-2-3-2. Satripy always aims to control the middle of the field, keep solid possession, and pressure any opponents with the ball immensely between the box and center field. Pace is controlled and periodically changed to keep opponents on their toes. As the same exact system is used at SDU, many players are already intimately familiar with their positions and expectations before training.

All players are associated with a professional club or academy, which is listed. Normally youth sports is somewhat neglected in MSD but this is the first submitted roster for a major tournament from a Sea Dome nation, and the Matrian Sea Dome Lemon Sharks now aim to impress. Federal fans are abuzz at a new era in youth sport, although cautiously.

Nefl Tonemar's famous snap of workers relaxing with a live-simulated game of foosball late in construction.
ELEVATION: 5,420 ft (1.652k)
LOCATION: Upper Dome district of Sea Dome City
Expecting to be absolutely trounced against multiversal competition, the Lemon Sharks find themselves desperate to cut, at the very least, the advantage held by crossdome rivals Corporate City 1Image Green Diamonds. In cooperation with the UD district, the Upper Dome Guardians multicode football club, and Sea Dome University (whose Stingrays also needed to cut the same advantage even more urgently due to a division rivalry with High City College Image) the People's Federal Matriarchy built a terrifyingly high-tech venue lofted to an elevation as high as could be sustained.

With access to all Matrian territories and regions, and several nations' worth of creative and well-trained civil engineers and architects, it was still a challenge to recreate the conditions at Peak Field. The engineers couldn't find a way to make something that high support thousands of fans without serious risk of injury and damage. However, they were able to work with Upper Dome Massive's Designer Stadium Company to build an NSCF-tested stadium that can safely hold several thousand drunken youths at a height of 5,420 ft. Still, I wouldn't jump up and down more than strictly necessary.

RP notes: Go nuts, just 1. no sadistic mangling, 2. please remember the Supermassive Sea Dome is a post-cyberpunk setting NOT urban fantasy. Absurdly magical elements, dragons, vampires and suchlike should either be (in theory) explainable with technology; or at least thematic to the relationship between our countries, regions, etc.

SEMARLAND NATIONAL U21 FOOTBALL TEAM, OFFICIAL DI BRADINI CUP 56 SQUAD

STAFF:
Manager: Demba Cisse, 60
A true footballing legend within Semarland, it seems fitting Demba Cisse is given the post of U21s manager as Semarland return to international competition. Whilst Cisse never represented the U21s on the multiversal stage, he was part of the very first Semarland squad that represented the country at the Baptism of Fire and 69th World Cup. He enjoyed a succesful playing career, starting out at FC Nuholm (where he is seen as one of their greatest ever players), before spells abroad in Polar Islandstates (with RSK Longyearbyen Town) and Cosumar (West Gundar FC), before returning to FC Nuholm where he retired. Coaching wise, he had a brief spell as a national team technical coach, and over the past 12 years he has spent time with FC Nuholm's academy. This marks a new challenge for him, and he's excited to pass on his knowledge and wisdom to the next young generation of Semarland players.

Assistant manager: Emmanuel Acheampong, 46
First team coaches: Marc Saxstrom, 46 and Melvin Mossanke, 46
Goalkeeping coach: Carlos Cone, 47
Fitness coach: Dejae Smith, 40
Physio: Anders Norregaard, 49
Acheampong, Saxstrom, Mossanke and Cone are all former FC Nuholm players themselves, almost mirroring the senior side's Sporting Saint Adrensburg coaching connections. None of them ever made it as full Semarland internationals, but all had some amount of youth caps and solid Premarligaen experience. But what really matters is their coaching expertise, and the quartet make up the trusted support to Cisse's leadership. Fitness coach Smith and physio Norregaard both each have 20+ years experience, both with FC Nuholm and Semarland at younger age levels in the past.

PLAYERS:
GOALKEEPERS:
#1 - GK - Renell Jones - Age 19 - Krsthaven
#12 - GK - Anders Bickerton - Age 19 - Eikborg Club
#13 - GK - Demarai Marylebone - Age 20 - Sporting Saint Adrensburg
Three solid goalkeepers in Renell Jones, Anders Bickerton and Demarai Marylebone, and it is likely that Cisse will offer a start apiece in each group game for the trio. Jones offers the most senior experience, with the young shot-stopper already a starter at Krsthaven at his young age - quite a rarity for a goalkeeper. Bickerton & Marylebone meanwhile have been able backups for their clubs this season - the latter the son of former SSA and Semarland custodian Devane, with the pair impressing the most in the cup competitions but also gaining fleeting experience in the league. It's hard to gauge who has the most potential of the three, with the trio all standing a good chance in progressing to the Semarland squad one day, but they are not considered better prospects than FC Jansberg's Russell Boakye-Yiadom, who is likely to take the #1 shirt upon Matthias Baxter's retirement.

DEFENDERS:
#2 - DR - Emar Ecclesfield - Age 19 - FC Matovallanen
#3 - DL - Rekim Amoah - Age 19 - Krsthaven
#4 - DC - Moses Micklefield - Age 18 - Eikborg Club
#5 - DC - Rahim Nallo - Age 19 - Kangemark Sport (c)
#18 - DC - Dontell Rockfield - Age 19 - FC Jansberg
#19 - DR - Ash Omotola - Age 20 - Molsbik Arkjet
#21 - DL - Yoan Reveillere - Age 18 - Molsbik Arkjet
#22 - DC - JD Auxerre - Age 19 - FC Kolberg
Rahim Nallo is the shining star in defence, with the Kangemark Sport centre-back high on the shopping lists of bigger Premarligaen clubs. A composed, ball-playing centre-back, he played in all but one Premarligaen fixtures last season. Sprightly left-back Rekim Amoah is another regular starter at Krsthaven, as is Moses Micklefield of Eikborg Club. Micklefield is more used to playing in a three-man defence rather than a two-man defence, so it will be interesting to see how he fares in that regard. On the bench, Arkjet's full-back pairing of Reveillere and Omotola weren't as regular fixtures in the starting lineup as others, whilst JD Auxerre broke into the FC Kolberg side midway through the campaign. Dontell Rockfield is highly rated at FC Jansberg but may be looking for a move away, with game time hard to come by. This will be the perfect opportunity for him to showcase his ability and progress in his career.

MIDFIELDERS:
#6 - DMC - Gervone Sorenstrom - Age 19 - Kangemark Sport
#7 - AMR - D.J Boateng - Age 19 - Sporting Saint Adrensburg
#8 - MC - Morten Knutsen - Age 19 - Krsthaven
#10 - AMC - Marcel Fearon - Age 19 - FC Kvist Town
#11 - AML - Tre Carlyon - Age 19 - FC Kvist Town
#14 - W - Glenn Baah - Age 19 - FC Kolberg
#17 - DMC - Kadeem Wade - Age 20 - FC Nuholm
#20 - AMC - Marcel Cortonwood - Age 21 - FC Jansberg
#23 - MC - Mohamed Sarr - Age 19 - FC Jansberg
Plenty of interesting prospects in midfield and it was no doubt a tough task for Demba Cisse to make his selections here. Morten Knutsen gets the nod over his younger club teammate Jahmari Hexham-Courant, who will feel quite hard done by as he missed out on a callup. FC Kvist Town duo Tre Carlyon and Marcel Fearon were key members of their side and the duo are the only non Category One graduates in the side. On the bench, Marcel Cortonwood is the most experienced and is unlucky to just miss out on the #10 shirt, whilst Glenn Baah offers an exciting alternative on either flank. D.J Boateng is the second son of a former Semarland (and Sporting Saint Adrensburg) player, and showed fans he was in the team on sporting merit rather than being the manager's son. Kadeem Wade usurped Guillaume Bartley in the FC Nuholm midfield midway through the campaign and he has his sights set on building a legacy there.

FORWARDS:
#9 - ST - Neo Sundstrom - Age 19 - FC Nuholm
#15 - ST - Kyren Yeboah - Age 17 - Eikborg Club
#16 - ST - Ramello Marshall - Age 18 - Kangemark Sport
The strongest area of the squad we think, it's likely that all three strikers will be given a start in each of the group games. Neo Sundstrom is a powerful centre-forward who uses his physique to get past players with ease, whilst Kyren Yeboah, affectionately nicknamed "the Blade" by Eikborg Club fans for his ability to cut through defences like a knife, is smaller physically but boasts rapid speed and excellent control of the ball. Ramello Marshall is the "halfway" option of the two and like his club teammate Nallo has caught the eyes of the Premarligaen elite. All three are natural goalscorers - Yeboah especially who many have very high hopes for, and all three stand a good chance of progressing into the national team in the next few years. All finished the season as regular starters and will no doubt be in their respective managers plans, unless they are taken away by international offers.

Demonym: Valhallans (or Polarians)

STAFF:
Manager: Erik Zhamaletdinov, 52
A True Valhallan and a former u21s international for the Chicks himself, Zhamaletdinov will surely go down as one of the best players who never got to represent the full Terns senior side thanks to the years of Valhallan isolation. Having left his job as attacking coach at his native Surtsey, his new role as national u-21s boss almost saw him go all the way in his very first tournament, only losing out to Qasden in the final after an inspiring run. He very much sees his role as one focused on player development, but has nonetheless brought a lot of frustrated fans to the u21s with his style of attacking football, and forum posts wondering what a Terns side managed by Zhamaletdinov might look like are far from thin on the ground at the moment.

Since finishing as runners-up in the last edition however, he has lost a significant amount of key players. Only three of his fully-blooded Terns remain, although the fact two of them are the already established international strike partnership of Nijgaard and Niemi will surely be a welcome boost. He will hope for less distraction off the field after the last edition, particularly where Niemi is concerned, but a whispers of a pending announcement by the VFA and/or The Party has got tongues wagging in the Chicks' camp...

Assistant Manager: Einar Jepsen, 50
A True Valhallan, Jepsen had a largely forgettable playing career at Jan Mayen Islanders. Promised at one point to be a world-beater, but injuries and a talented rank in front of him curtailed his development, and when he pinged his ACL for the third time at the age of just 24, he started focusing on gaining his coaching badges whilst happy with his descent through the tiers as a player. A talented coach and tactician, Jepsen is here as assistant manager, yes, but the DBC is a proving ground for those in the dugout, as well, and he certainly did himself no harm with his role in the team's performance last time around...

PLAYERS:
GK
#1 - GK - Jaan Reusser - Age 21 - Image SK Aasiaat Harbour
#12 - GK - Hallmunder Rieland - Age 19 - Image FC Axel Heiburg
#13 - GK - Edgar Vogelsang - Age 18 - Image SK Franz Josef City
With the talented Jori Sipp already too old for the Chicks, somehow, Jaan Reusser gets to step up and take the number one jersey by virtue of being the best keeper available to Zhamaletdinov. He never made it off the bench in the last DBC, with Sipp playing every minute of the campaign, but it is hoped that at least having had tournament experience will put him in good stead. However, with two even more untested options on the bench, if there is an obvious weakness in the Chicks' squad, it's here.

#2 - DR - Mikkel Makkinen - Age 20 - Image FC1. Bjarnarey Flotilla
#3 - DC - Valentin Ernst - Age 19 - Image FC1. Bjarnarey Flotilla

#5 - DL - Jalmari Hagen - Age 21 - Image SK Franz Josef City
#18 - DR - Mika Jensen - Age 19 - Image East Franz Athletic
#19 - DL - Haraldur Alberg - Age 20 - Image FC1. Surtsey Island Gulls
#21 - DC - Ruben Herzog - Age 18 - Image Northbrook Diamonds FK
#22 - DC - Arni Lauff - Age 20 - Image East Franz Athletic
#23 - DC - Ludvig Altermatt - Age 19 - Image Red Star Severny
Losing all three centre-backs in from one DBC to the next is certainly not unheard of, given the nature of the competition, but it has presented Zhamaletdinov with something of a selection dilemma. Valentin Ernst and Mikkel Hedstrom made one substitute appearance apiece at the last DBC, and the responsibility of protecting the goalkeepers now rests largely with them. Joining them in the starting line-up by virtue of a slightly longer list of Divisjon One appearances is Arni Lauff, though there are big whispers around the potentials of both Altermatt and Herzog at the moment. Jalmari Hagen's continued presence in the backline is a blessing - he'll be pushing hard for a Copa Rushmori spot here - whilst Mikkel Makkinen's new ability to play on either side of defence means the inexperienced Mika Jensen is spared being thrown in at the deep end.

MID
#6 - DMC - Nic Dementieva - Age 20 - Image North Star Grímsey - CAPTAIN
#7 - AMC - Gunnar Keppler - Age 20 - Image SK Franz Josef City
#8 - MC - Martin Kallenberger - Age 21 - Image Northbrook Diamonds FK
#14 - MC - Wojciech Baptiste - Age 18 - Image FC Axel Heiburg
#15 - DMC - Carl Urdahl - Age 20 - Image Jan Mayen Islanders
#16 - AMC - Loïc Nousiainen - Age 20 - Image Bohemiens Grise Fiord
#17 - MC - Yanni Eklund - Age 20 - Image SK Nasjonale Hauker
In the middle of the park, Nic Dememtieva has been promoted to captain of the squad, and will be looking to put his formidable talent and leadership skills in the shop window. He's a Grímsey lad through and through, but he's not going to win league titles at North Star right now, and the kid's got ambitious plans. Keppler and Kallenberger provide the creativity going forwards, with the explosive Wojciech Baptiste waiting for a chance to impress from the bench. Loïc Nousiainen is the latest Rochefroides attacking midfielder to pull on an international jersey, and excitingly for Bohemiens fans he is their first ever u21s international star; an indication of their recent development as a club that they'll be hoping will turn into their first full senior cap before too long.

ATT
#9 - ST - Emmanuele Niemi - Age 21 - Image SK Nasjonale Hauker
#10 - ST - Youssef Nijgaard - Age 20 - Image FC1. Bjarnarey Flotilla - Vice-Captain
#11 - ST - Roald Eike-Rasmussen - Age 17 - Image FC Axel Heiburg
#20 - ST - Alf Lofthus - Age 21 - Image SK Franz Josef City
Finally, up front, Niemi and Nijgaard will aim to continue their productive partnership into another DBC tournament after it worked so well at the last one. Niemi in particular will be hoping for a quieter experience all round this time after he lost a thumb in a freak 'accident' before a crucial knockout stage match last time around. Nijgaard's powerful presence up front sees him granted the vice-captaincy, as Zhamaletdinov is clearly of the opinion that the best form of defence is attack this time around. Accordingly, both Alf Lofthus - who ably deputised last time around for Niemi and in the league for Eisenhauer - and the much fancied Eike-Rasmussen will hope to get plenty of game time. Expect goals.

Penalty Taker: Youssef Nijgaard/Emmanuele Niemi/Martin Kallenberger
Free Kick Taker: Martin Kallenberger/Emmanuele Niemi/Jalmari Hagen
Corner Taker: Jalmari Hagen/Martin Kallenberger/Gunnar Keppler

Probable Starting formation: 3-3-2-2
------------------------------- Reusser -------------------------------
-------------------- Ernst -- Hedstrom -- Lauff --------------------

THE OPPONENT CAN
Choose my goalscorers? Yes.
Godmod scoring events? Yes.
RP injuries to my players? Yes, within reason, and I reserve the right to change the severity in a follow-up RP.
Godmod injuries to my players? Yes, as above.
Hand out yellow cards to my players? Yes.
Hand out red cards to my players? Yes, but only 2 per match maximum, and never to my captain or vice-captain.
Godmod other events? TG me first, but I'm always open to ideas.

A quick IC note:
Buoyed by the success of the Terns in distracting the populace form his political agenda, Secretary General Orion Lund is pressing ahead with his plans for sporting domination. Or, at least, for a lot of teams competing in a lot of things. Handily, the Chicks do play attractive football, far more attractive than Miroshnichenko's Terns, and whilst that is also useful in a way, it'll be nice to have a national team that the people are excited about. Prepare for further political announcements regarding sports and borders during the tournament...

Zhamaletdinov, meanwhile, is pressing ahead with the idea that attacks is the best form of defence - by necessity rather than design. Consequently, I've used a beefier modifier to reflect that. The defenders are talented, but haven't played much senior football, and the IFCF and Divisjon One commitments they all have this time around means training camp time has been limited. So. Like I said; expect goals.

OOC: PUPPET OF SEA DOME

The CC1 Green Diamonds truly represent the brightest young stars in our City-State today. Each of them embodies the core values of Glamour, Vision, Integrity. Because of the glut of young talent competing for a few roster spots, each player is on the older end of U21 and affiliated with a club or academy, which is listed.

MANAGER: Shouty Speaker (28; manager, Eastern University Biohazards, SPL 1)
Like many Supermassive Sea Dome residents, Shouty started with a name given him on another world that doesn't exist anymore, and has settled on a name that can easily be translated and understood in any language, a simple concept: Shouty Speaker, the speaker who is shouty.
based on the Scotsman who is a member OBE and has portrayed Tarzan and was in BBC's Survivors, not on any webseries character
Shouty had a passion for 'fubble' from a young age, but as you may have guessed, soon found his calling was just off the pitch and to the side. The Speaker is impassioned, always in the moment, ready to feel the sweetness or the agony, but is also known for his brand of 4-3-3 Gegenpress. Most substitutions are used, and peppered sporadically throughout the second half, to relieve aching players who have given the enemy hell and need to cool their jets.

He prefers to win possession immediately and methodically drive up the field in neat triangular patterns, using a striker to wear out defenders before pinching in with the wingers and peppering the net. In practice, a battle plan never survives encounter with the enemy, and the highly individualistic, technical, and fast-paced Corporate style is not going to work as well against every opponent. The 4-3-3 allows Shouty to easily transition into a better shape to protect the back line, control possession, or just present a solid brick down the middle of the field. More attacking midfielders are chosen to start against teams he feels he can press more effectively, while a defensive-midfielder-led triangle format is used against offensive threats.

LOCATION: Iron Hill Zone, CC1
ELEVATION: 7,415 ft/2.26km
Not to be outdone by Red Sea Dome City, Corporate City 1's high-rise 'field' is actually a rooftop basketball court resizable for volleyball, boxlax, and other sports- including all football codes- requiring surfaces to be trucked all the way up the frightening Legion Highway or delivered by helicopter or by dropper (reconfigured pamphlet bomber). It is extremely popular due to its opposite weather conditions under the Supermassive Sea Dome giving an inherent advantage over MSD. But unlike the free-for-all down below, Peak Field only allows High City College, the CC1 Legion (senior national team), international guests, domestic members of 4 pro clubs hand-selected after proving they deserve to live higher: the Iron Hill GFC Ancients, the Dozens, the Bazaar Eagles and the Infosec-Pro Operators....and now, the CC1 Green Diamonds.

You can wear, say, or do almost anything nonviolating here because people are unusually focused on not dying. Also, it's hard to find anything in CC1 that is both profitable and illegal except one corporation overthrowing the Corporate Council, which would be unprecedented. So if you'd like to buy some terrible weapon, some people, supermedicine, regular drugs, a ship, and a crew to transport it all home our only question is: how fast can you pay?

Goal
00 Cat Vile (N) 21, Credit Cartel Gold Knights
Cat starts for the Gold Knights, an aggressive, punchy keeper who attempts to psychologically dominate the area. Likes to feature high on the penalty kick order, though not first.

26 Mark Player (M) 21, Maritime University Pirates

Fullback
1 Hopper Levee (F) 21, Shiheda Electronics Bolts Academy CORNER TAKER
In younger days, Hopper was nicknamed by an enraged opponent for her quick end-to-end play.
2 Jeff Anaia (N) 20, Young Democrats
Due to time anomalies, being named after sporting regions and countries is already popular here.
15 Xulia (F) 21, Infosec Pro Operators Academy
24 Nahor (M) 20, Corporate University Sharks
30 Victoriano van Alst (M) 21, Eastern University Biohazards > Orchideeën Image (TAX)

Centerback
5 Di Bradini Simpson (M) 21, Credit Cartel Gold Knights Academy INDIRECT KICK TAKER
As implied by the name, DB was bred to be a footballer. Though he was bred under the Supermassive Sea Dome, he is expected to make a splash at the cup with which he shares a namesake.
6 Spike Levee (N) 21, Iron Hill Ancients
Spike is a respected CB in all areas but is also here because he is acclimated to extreme altitudes and breathes well everywhere.

Darksider trains with the club as a member of the taxi squad but the Greens lack a formal youth academy, being more focused on medical education as an organization.
12 Miggee Cirlal (N) 21, Eastern University Biohazards
The Ko-orenite descendant didn't put in an especially flashy season, but knows the system well and proved versatile in transition for Shouty.

Left Wing
7 Red Milano (20) N, Eastern University Biohazards - PENALTY, DIRECT KICK TAKER
Red is the purest net-attacker here, pushing 21 of EU's 64 goals in league play. Leaving some of the harassment duties to the rest of the front line, they are always looking for that freak unblockable angle shot.
14 Gwendolyn the Pelsemm (20) F, Corporate University Sharks

Striker
13 Shutuk (21) N, Pacifica FC Image(UHL)
The only starting attacker not from EU, Shutuk dazzled off the bench for Corporate University Sharks last season. But their inclusion on the Green Diamonds was controversial as a pure striker was considered unlikely to succeed in Shouty's trademark system. That is, until Shutuk became the first Corporate player outside the Dome after Pacifica FC paid $2.8M transfer fees. Business is good now.
10 Curtis the Offendor (21) M, Free Trade Zone Triangles
Curtis racked up assists playing a nasty physical box game in CCFAL. He loves to draw penalties. Public speculation that Shouty would field Curtis with the starting 11 proved untrue when Shutuk was announced the starter after his groundbreaking sale. CtO is likely to come off the bench and try to stir up drama.

Right Wing
11 Imitator Marzu (21) N, Eastern University Biohazards
In a way that is somewhat lost in translation, Imitator was nicknamed for her special ability to pick up intricate attacking systems fast and produce immediately.
23 Court Nash (20) F, Maritime University Pirates

RP PERMISSIONS
Go nuts (no sadistic cruelty) but please remember the Supermassive Sea Dome is a post-cyberpunk setting, not futurism, hard sci fi, or urban fantasy!

Football Federation of Huayramarca

Image

Official Roster for the 56th Di Bradini Cup

About Huayramarcan Grassroots Football: Huayramarca has been known for being one of the few countries that hasn’t invested (until now) in forming footballers for its future, for having little to no infrastructure to promote players. Aside from the lucky ones that decide to test themselves in the already existing Liga 1-2-3 teams, without having a formal approach to tactics or real discipline, that jump to the top teams and try to fight for a position in the Senior National Team, there’s need to forge a new identity, as there’s growing awareness among fans and FA directors that Huayramarca will need, soon, a generational shift.

Things had to change and that’s where Omar Caicedo and Rodolfo Zelaya appeared suggesting, to the Huayramarcan FA, a new approach to prepare the talent across the regions of this vast nation and help them transition into the Senior NT, as its obvious that we won’t have Bryan Tello, Ian Mamani, Gabriel Sayritupac, Kevin Quispe or Juan Mamani for our entire lifetimes. In 1986, just about to begin the World Cup 91, the project was created and had plans to find a new manager for the Grassroots National Teams, one that would be a connoisseur of the methods utilised by Omar and Rodolfo, as that would be important to make a seamless transition through the entire National Team ecosystem proposed.

Many potential candidates took part from a course where the basics of the to-be-instituted-style were taught and refined among them, pretty much like a zero-to-hero course for many of them that would feature a capstone project, where they would not only showcase their abilities and what they learned, also challenged their understanding of the proposed tactics. After three months, a new name popped up, and that was Marcos Álvarez for the U-18 side and Luis Díaz for the U-21 one, both will be working together to gather feedback and improve their tactics towards the process required to let the players ready for the expected National Team jump.

The project took more time to start and fly, it was the year of 1987 when the reality seemed to begin a slow change, as the Huayramarcan Football Association put the program to work, asking the manager of this U-18 side, Marcos Álvarez, to create a roadmap to put his team into work and in rhythm for tournaments across the Multiverse to showcase them. After some work, he decided to take the ideas of Omar Caicedo when it comes to tactics, search for footballers across the whole nation and then sign Huayramarca for the prestigious RTC U-18 World Cup as a beginning for this team, one that will provide the players a good experimentation field to let their tactic framework function properly, against some of the top squads across the Multiverse, then the project will continue with the Di Bradini Cup and so on, as the players gather valuable experience for the future.

From those trials and scouting done, a group of 27 players have appeared for the U-18 and U-21 projects, but age constraints have forced the pool to increase its size to 39 players, as the FA has asked to send 26 players as a minimum to each tournament. This new pool features some interesting footballers, from fast ones, tough and technical, dual nationals who switched allegiance to Huayramarca and people from the very last corner of the nation, making sure to gather a good representation from everybody, be it Huayramarcans or people who are searching for a new opportunity in this country.

After the dismissal of Omar Caicedo and Rodolfo Zelaya, the project took a drastic change with the help of Blâás Âgínsôgnó, a Rulandese manager that in one of the weirdest movements possible, decided to take a new challenge and asked the Huayamarcan FA to be the manager of the entire NT structure, while Omar Caicedo covered his position in Dí Maozökê. Âgínsôgnó has decided to speed-up the process for new players in the Huayramarcan National Team, by teaching them the principles needed for them to break up into the ranks of the Condors in a future, as the team might need new blood sooner than later.

How We Play Football?

At simple glance, things doesn't seem that had changed a lot after Omar Caicedo left the national team, and so his ideals for the future prospects. Huayramarca has decided to brand her own style of football embracing offensiveness, courage and grit under the label of fulbo total, in an attempt to take Huayramarca back to her roots of football, just making some enhancements that will make this system competitive enough to be a competitive force.

Fulbo is a common mispelling for fútbol in the Huayramarcan dialect of Spanish, also refered as the way that people grow in the streets, neighbourhoods and all places of Huayramarca use to play the sport. In the traditional sense, Huayramarcan football tends to be physical, both in strength, and intensity that is required to perform in an OK level. From the random dusty pitches in the highlands to the state-of-the-art premises that some stadiums boast across the nation, players are asked to never give up, to give everything they can in order to achieve victory; to the point of exploit loopholes in the football rules for their advantage.

Centrebacks are used to be relatively strong, as they will also try to outpace their rivals in physical strength, displaying rudeness and being prone to perform some harsh tackling when needed; there's no fear to get carded, it's a matter of avoiding the rival to score against their team. People in the villages often use an idiom to refer to what they accept as a good centreback "Either the ball or the player, but not both." Another main treat of them is that they tend to provoke or annoy rivals by trash-talking, trying to disconnect them from the match and make their own duties easier. Often, they will play near the midfield in order to force the rest of the team to press the rivals, limiting the playing area to the rival's half.

Sidebacks are one of the most important links of the team, as they don't restrict themselves to defend, they can often liberate pressure from the centrebacks by pushing the ball forward, be it through individuality or large crosses to the midfielder or the wingers. They use to have a nice speed and great spamina, enough to perform box-to-box routines frequently; they also link up with wingers when attacking through the sides, often engaging in a quick pass succession that leads to crossing the ball to the forward or a second-striker awaiting outside the area. Speed is useful for them, as they must be able to retreat and guarantee defensive numeric superiority when the rival tries to do a counter attack.

Midfielders: Although there are two clear roles here, being the destroyer and the playmaker, it can also be said that the role is pretty much indistinctive from who does it, as every one in this zone of the pitch is required to switch roles according to the scenario they might be facing at any moment; that's why this position is the most flexible under the big scheme of things in fulbo. As the name say, the destroyer is in charge to destroy any linking from the midfielders to the attackers when the Condors are protecting themselves from a counter, or avoid connections between defenders and the midfielders while the team is attacking, they can either tackle with clinical finesse or just aim to the rival's ankle, it all depends on how good they consider their rival, the better they are, the harsher will the destroyers act against those players.

The playmakers, in the other hand, can either be completely egocentrical or collaborative, that will depend of the very own personal treats of whoever takes the role in a very specific circumstance. Âgínsôgnó has given freedoms to the players in order to attack freely going in solos if they see a chance through, deliver the ball to a player that might be able to continue the idea of attacking or, simply, hold the ball until an opening appears or switching to destroyer and letting another player to find a gap that they might not notice.

Attackers: Tradition mandates two wingers and a spearhead, a forward that cautiously awaits a pass to slot it home. The wingers are instructed to serve the attacker or go through the defence and force a chance for themselves to score, similar to the defenders but not with the leeway to change sides, no, only instructions to provide enough tools for their decision-making process and promote more diverse ideas rather than focusing in a way to break through brute force. Âgínsôgnó also asks the attackers to bethe first line of defence of the National Team when the rivals commence a play, always through pincer plays or support from the creative midfielder; sometimes, the attackers can drop some metres to help in ball recovery efforts, then to start an attack with the help of the creative attacker.

The new Huayramarcan National Team, under the ideals of Âgínsôgnó, tries to makre sure that the ball can be held in the half of the rival team, as much as possible under Huayramarcan control, trying to create chances to break through the defence and score, or simply move the ball and cause fatigue on their rival as they try to chase the ball in vain. This style requires a lot of concentration from the players, stamina and need to collaborate and decide in a short time span, as dynamism is the name of the game, to never run out of ideas and outsmart the rival.

Without further ado, the starting XI and substitutes are presented in the following tables:

Álvarez took one thing seriously while searching players for the team, he wanted the fastest ones possible when it comes to decision-making processes and physical speed, something this team really exploits in the wings from Aramburu and Delgado who sometimes go up and help to attacking duties, then they return as fast as possible. They are always supported by a quite strong defensive core in the shape of Adame and Narváez, who tend to play strong and borderline when it comes to the rules, both possess a good aerial game, but Arteaga can be a bit loose while marking rivals.

In the midfield, a rhombus formation builds with one defensive midfield in the shape of Caicedo who tends to be an iron curtain when it comes to facing rivals, he won’t let them cross the midfield and get close to the defensive quarter. Meanwhile, there are two play makers with Aramburu and Delgado acting for the left and right sides, with the possibilities of seeing Aramburu going deep in the right to dribble defenders and prepare to shoot; while Delgado tends to go from the defense to the front, as his north is always connecting with Rumiñahui and trying to expand their influence by having a creative network between them, an area where they love to build chaos for the rival with passing in the most unpredictable of ways, setting order for the Huayramarcan attack in transitions.

The creative mids/wingers have the sole mission of feeding either Congo and Lijerón with passes. Lijerón has a fast-paced approach, he tries to outrun rivals and get near the box to either serve a pass to Congo or trying to score the goal by himself. Congo, in the other hand, has purged many defenders in the local leagues with Sendero Luminoso, his team in the heart of the Huayramarcan Sierra. His parents, who took inspiration of war criminal Nafuna Akongo, taught him to be as brutal as possible when attacking, even by sheer force or ingenuity, his mindset is tremendously powerful, as he works his way into the defenders to achieve victory… For him, “football is war” and he will try to be a “goal-scoring machine” to win it.

The Kits:
Huayramarca’s social mindset is to aim for local consumption in the long term, hence the HFF decided to hire “eva Sportswear” to manufacture the kits for the national team. “eva” decided to take the ball out of the park with unique designs for Huayramarca, reflecting the national identity and adding up motivational phrases on them for mere sake of marketing. Those kits are based on the geography of this nation, from the coast to the highlands and jungle to promote a sense of national unity, especially on a stage that the national team is trying to consolidate its name in the exciting multiverse of football.

Some of the backgrounds feature Túpac Katari, one of the most famous indigenous fighters from the Sierra, who kept invaders away from Huayramarcan soil, and helped forging the alliance that gave birth to what we known as the Plurinational State of Huayramarca. Nevado Inti as symbol of strength, and a statement of outstanding size that is the highest mountain in Anaia. The force of nature such as Longevity Valley in Huancavilca, the River Yaraví, and the Rainbow Mountain, as symbols of diversity, power and unity that last through time, with an unstoppable pace.

“eva” decided to depict elements that provide sense of pride and national identification for Huayramarcans, no matter where they are from, those are universal icons of what Huayramarca is and its roots. Strong roots, legacy, and people forging their future with faith, pride, and hope.

The Beaucester Gazette
Tinn to Lead U21s
Squad looking comparatively light

In Jenny Tinn the under-21s have finally bagged a long-term coach to see them through the Di Bradini Cup. A decent coach at that. She's spent years working in various youth academies, having had success with Mosfleet Albion's academy sides, she has worked closely with previous coaches with the under-18s and under-21s. She has a big task ahead of her. Having won the 53rd edition, and with an appearance in the final of the under-18s, expectations remain high around the side, despite the fact that the side might not have the talent to match national ambitions.

The majority of the team has at least some experience in top level divisions, but the majority are fringe players. There are a handful of key players who they will need to rely on to get them through. Sycamore can marshall the backline having had a breakthrough season with AS Samita, Nanni and Karanski have been rocks at the back for an over performing Estdalle and Marina Kuhl remains a talent in midfield. Will it be enough?

1. Arjan Sycamore (AS Samita, 21)
12. Gary Porter (Sporting Transvers, 19)
23. Eirini Knight (FREE AGENT, 21)

Sycamore's had a strong season for Samita in goal. His shot stopping might occasionally lack a little something, but there's no doubting his ability to play it out from the back and command his centre-backs. His positioning is usually solid as well. The issue is behind him. Martha Ball has opted to stick with Chizzo and the under-18s,
despite not being a starter, this deprives a second option to bring on for penalties or when they're under the cosh. Eirini Knight comes in having spent time as a free agent. She might be hoping she has the chance to show what she can do and attract a new club, but as third choice she is unlikely to get the chance.

2. Liz Karanski (Estdalle, 19) - Left-Back
3. Liberatore Nanni (Estdalle, 21) - Centre-Back
4. Amelia Graves (Eivora Athletic FC Academy (TKT), 19) - Centre-Back
5. Guillame Fekir (Mosfleet Albion, 18) - Right-Back
13. Angelo Calabresi (Indipendiente, 21) - Left-Back
14. Antioco Alescio (Dhun Lagarr FC Academy (TKT), 21) - Centre-Back
15. Giocomo Guthro (Mosfleet Albion Academy, 19) - Centre-Back
16. Antonia Papadimitriou (Estdalle, 19) - RIght-Back

Nanni and Graves might be the best partnership in this side, and with Karanski at their side they have three solid performers. Fekir is the unknown here. Performing well in patches, he had a great tournament for the under-18s last time out, but he failed to kick on for the stuttering Albion side. He only picked up 12 appearances over the season, with a return of just two assists, not great going for a player who offers little defensive upside. On the bench, Guthro and Alescio are academy players, they remain unproven. Calabresi was the weakest link in the second division's best side and Papadimitriou offers little different to Fekir in regards to defence versus attack. Tinn will have to hope that plan A works.

6. Marina Kuhl (AS Catamouge, 21) - Centre-Mid
8. Andrew Nova (Indipendiente, 19) - Centre-Mid
10. Nico Colca (Sporting Transvers, 18) - Attacking-Mid
17. Gina Wharton (Mosfleet Albion Academy, 19) - Defensive-Mid
18. Celia Purcell (AS Catamouge, 21) - Centre-Mid
19. Guillame Barlow (Chipping Sersbrek, 19) - Attacking-Mid

Some changes to Elmyia's usual midfield shape, with the lack of a standout defensive midfielder it's going to be an oddly configured double pivot with Colca as a genuinely attacking midfielder. Kuhl and Nova will have to screen and commit to buildup, this doesn't suit either of the natural games. Kuhl is a rampaging 8, she is at her best when given the freedom to chase around as she wishes. 9 goals, 8 assists and top 10 for recoveries in the league, constraining her as such might be to her detriment. Nova also liked to get forward to help out at Indipendiente, but he is happier to sit than his colleague. On the bench and Wharton offers a more disciplined defensive presence, but she's yet to gain that key experience to earn a starting place. Purcell and Barlow both come off bruising seasons in which they were relegated, they'll have to show some mental fortitude to bounce back.

7. Jessica Blair (Indipendiente, 19) - Left-Wing
9. Enya Miller (Meridionale, 21) - Centre-Forward
11. Leonidas Ioannidis (Munster AFC, 21) - Right-Wing
20. Branden Eady (AS Samita, 21) - Left-Wing
21. Anna Alfrero (Scolastico Academy, 19) - Centre-Forward
22. Pietro Abbatangelo (Carathyr Emeralds FC Academy (TKT), 19) - Right-Wing

A lot of promise upfront, but a lot of it again unproven. Ioannidis and Blair have both had great seasons, albeit in the second tier. Blair's all-round game, in particular, looked outstanding for a side that dominated on its way to promotion. Yet, there remains little top division experience here. Miller has played in the first division before, but often looked adrift as Meridionale laboured through last season. Off the bench and Eady and Abbatangelo continue to struggle to break through for their respective clubs, whilst Academy prospect Alfrero has only her performances for the under-18s to recommend her.

TACTICAL INFORMATION
OUT OF POSSESSION (5-3-2):
Out of possession Mytanija will be playing a fairly standard 5-3-2. The three central defenders will roughly occupy the width of the six-yard box across the middle of the penalty area, whilst the two wing-backs will be tasked with pressing up against the opposing team's widest players (whether that be wingers, central midfielders drifting wide, wing-backs or full-backs). If the opposition try to play centrally then the wing-backs will tuck in and the Mytanar defence will form a back-five across the width of the penalty area. The wing-backs are key in Mytanija's press, they are asked to push up against the opposition's wide players to prevent the opposition from being able to switch the play across the pitch and drag Mytanar players out of shape (failure to do this will provide the opponent with space down the flanks and then potentially create space centrally as players have to compensate for the Mytanar wing-backs' failure to do so).

The midfield three will be asked to shield their three central defenders behind them, occupying the space in the middle of the pitch and making it difficult for the opposition to play in these areas. They will not be asked to go out and cover the opposition's wide players, that is the job of the Mytanar wing-backs and if the midfielders have to go out and press the opposition's wide players then something has gone wrong in the system. This should create a 6-man 'box' in the space in front of the team's goal to make it difficult for the opponent to play here and prevent them from creating shooting opportunities. Mytanija's two forwards will press the opponent's defenders when they are in possession in the initial phase, but when the ball passes them one will drop in to assist the midfield, often only leaving one striker up on the halfway line as the other takes part in the defensive phase of the game.

IN POSSESSION (3-2-5): When Mytanija regain possession both wing-backs will be asked to be very adventurous, with the left wing-back being asked to join the attacking line with the two strikers and Mytanija's two more advanced central midfielder. The right wing-back (Dzafer Mytnjak) will move inside in possession to form part of the two alongside Mytanija's deepest midfielder (Cvijan). Stoja Stanoev will have to pull wide on his side to provide width on this side, though the intention will be for Mytnjak to assist with over or underlapping runs when the opportunity presents itself (as long as it wouldn't leave Mytanija weak against a counterattack).

The deepest Mytanar midfielder (usually Radomir Cvijan or Kuja Vovec) will look to recycle possession centrally and spray accurate passes out to the wing-backs to keep the opposition defence stretched. The more box-to-box midfielder (Repnik or Potocnik) will both need to remain vigilant to win the ball back quickly in the event of lost possession and make opportune late runs towards the edge of the box to create shooting opportunities. Both are important in maintaining Mytanar possession and preventing counter-attacks in this system.

The back three are fairly self-explanatory. The three central defenders will remain on the halfway line, pushing up high so the opposition are forced back into their own half (though they will drop back should Mytanija lose possession, in this system it is all about protecting the penalty area when you lose the ball), and will look to keep them there by reading the game well to stop counter-attacks and by using their physicality to bully opposition forwards. They will aim to play line-breaking passes into the forward line if the opportunity presents itself when in possession.

NOTES:
• Adem Fejzic landed on his feet after losing his job as manager of Mytanija's largest club Atletik. The 69 year old jumped straight into the manager's seat with the under-21 national team and did reasonably well at the first time of asking, taking the side to the quarter finals of the 49th Di Bradini Cup. His second attempt at the DBC went a stage further, getting to the semi-final before being knocked out and then beating Tumbra 5-4 in the third place play-off. It is hoped that he might be able to win Mytanija a second DBC this time. Fejzic usually prefers a 4-3-1-2 formation but the under-21s will be playing the same 5-3-2 which is used by the senior national team, that doesn't mean that they won't change during the tournament with tactical flexibility being pretty much mandated by the FSM. Fejzic is seen as somebody who can help to instil this into the under-21 squad and ease the process for these players to make the jump to the senior national side eventually.

• Mytanars are renowned for being passionate and therefore will not be afraid of confrontation if they feel they're on the end of a particularly rough tackle. At the same time Mytanars are not afraid of gamesmanship and may perform some questionable tackles of their own, along with tactical fouls to prevent the opponent from gaining momentum. Furthermore, diving, crowding referees and even intentional handballs (OOC: so Maradona's Hand of God and Suarez for Uruguay versus Ghana, that sort of stuff), to influence the game are not beyond Mytanar players. They will argue that winning is the most important thing and will do anything they can to achieve victory. Some might call it dirty, Mytanars don't, that won't stop them complaining when things go against them naturally.

• Mytanar fans are well-known for being hooligans, causing problems wherever they go and being prone to violence. They also make outstanding choreographies for their domestic sides and occasionally the national team (if they aren't fighting each other), so pyrotechnics, flags and lots of noise and alcohol are common place. Corteos (organised marches from a specific place to the stadium), are also common, these can lead to areas being shutdown as the sheer numbers of fans walking along roads block traffic and can lead to issues as police attempt to marshal supporters too. Given the ongoing political situation in Mytanija, whether ultra groups are able to put aside differences regarding politics, ethnicity etc for the national side is a pertinent question and the answer to it may change even from game to game.

DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ABANHFLEFT
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL TEAM - MIXED

This will be the twenty-first time that Abanhfleft will be participating in the Di Bradini Cup. The Young Revolutionaries came so close to finally claiming the coveted Di Bradini Cup, only to be stopped on their tracks by a surprise called Elmyia. Yet another attempt at the trophy was foiled by the Vans of Qasden, and while most people are happy that our boys and girls still went home with a bronze medal to show for their efforts, the Samahang Futbol ng Abanhfleft (SFA) remains unsatisfied. It is the Di Bradini Cup or nothing.

...What's this? Why it is a THE HINODEJIN EMPIRE NATIONAL UNDER-21 TEAM ROSTER appearing in the distance!

The Imperial Hinodejin Under-21 national team

Goalie: All green

Following an announcement from Empress Satomi about participating in the 100th edition of the World Cup, the government decided to insist on a proper effort as opposed to just signing up and letting the team do its part. They aim to participate in the next couple of smaller tournaments before the tournament arrives to see if they could form a competent national team to take it to whoever they get on the way. Of course, there's only one tiny problem with the plan - nobody bothered to inform the population beforehand.

Ever since departing from the international scene in acrimonious fashion, the populace of the Empire saw its interest in playing with other nations from outside their dominion (whether de facto or de jure, if you know you know) plummet like hell. This naturally affected the national pool since most people instead opted to stick with playing at home as opposed to travelling to parts... well, not parts unknown but parts they don't care about. As such, the following players were among the small group of people willing to make the trip and who also happened to not be tied to any club. A gathering of young guys and gals willing to try their hand at this old-fangled thing thus arrives decked in the finest purple and white they could wear.

GOALKEEPERS
#1 - Marina HIKARI - 20 years old - College of the Gardens - goalkeeper, CAPTAIN

Born from the dreams of a loving couple, the promise of a bright raising and more realistically speaking, a tube and a lot of money; Marina Hikari is a sweet young lady from the peaceful north of the Empire that really is all about flowers to the point where she chose to stray from the family path and try a course in Botanics. It's probably why she ended up at the College of the Gardens, the Empire's main reference in agronomic and botanic matters. A relaxed spirit that likes to travel through her own path in life but is polite enough to listen to anyone and take their words into account. Hopefully, she'll perform admirably as a goalie but it seems like she's fine with whatever happens for she's nice like that.
#12 - Ulrich Nathanael OWEN - 20 years old - Mido-Hinode University - goalkeeper

DEFENDERS
#2 - LUIZ Januário GONZAGA Silva - 20 years old - Royal Music Academy of Higher Learning - right back

To the natives of the former Dreamplanet, the war was easily one of the most depressing moments of their lives... though some would probably mention some tournament final loss as an option instead. Luiz himself didn't know much about it, he and his family had moved into the Empire's deeper lands much before the affair happened and he was barely a teenager when the news hit. At first, his family feared the repercussions only to find the Hinodejin to be rather acceptive. Presumably, because his family's stomping grounds were now either razed to ashes or not too far off... oh, and under the flag of the Hinodejin Empire if not the Apoxian flag. It was then that his father told him a very important phrase, "We'll smile and laugh for those who can't anymore". Luiz and his family started a folk band known for their humorous and provocative lyrics until Luiz was old enough to strike on his own and his father felt like retiring from music due to hand injuries that just didn't seem to heal. He's close to graduating from the Empire's finest musical learning institution and is only really playing football out of habit. He's fast and has good game vision but it's hard to tell if he has much potential or if he really should stick to the acordeon.
#3 - Kohaku NANAYA - 20 years old - Kinokomura Technological Institute - center back
The story of Kinokomura Technological Institute's shady center-back Kohaku Nanaya is tragically small. Mostly because Kohaku herself doesn't remember much. Having lived with her sister at a caretaker's mansion for as most as she can recall, her more solid memories seem to start at a point where at the age of 18, she woke up inside a hospital room with the watchful eye of her sister and the caretaker's son who was either there because there was something going on between those two or the fact the caretaker passed away not too long after her parents did. She can remember playing with kids and the sights of flowers but most other things she can tell come from the mouth of her sister, Hisui. A proud student of Robotics, the girl nicknamed "Magical Amber" took the sport of football as a way to let out her anger. Most people would suggest boxing but she likes the noise of people crumbling to the grass apparently. Slides a mean tackle.
#4 - Mitsuharu KANAGISAWA - 20 years old - Lan Xang University - center back
The prototypal no-nonsense center back, Mitsuharu Kanagisawa comes from a family who made their lives on the back of fighting people in several disciplines. One would probably be more relaxed with the idea that they're facing the less aggressive member of the Kanagisawas as a result but when you consider most of his siblings and cousins are regular competitors in tournaments of things such as kickboxing, Muay Thai, taekwondo, judo and the odd MMA event here and there means that maybe it would be wise not to piss him off. Mitsuharu insists that, unlike his boxing champion parents, he's fine with his lot in life and has taken to academic life. The sport of football remains part of his daily routine for exercising, though he admittedly feels like he's not very good at it, even if his passes are fantastic.
#5 - Kevin HAWKINGS-RYDER - 20 years old - Kameria University - left back
The son of Northern Wheatleyians in the fashion industry - mother's a designer, father's a model - Kevin found himself playing football as a facade for his good looks only to realize he was actually very competent at it and would soon use that knowledge of the sport as a way to get into Kameria University where he now learns about languages though it seems he's more interested in catching the eye of a football team, whether at home or abroad. The chance of playing at the DBC came at a very good time for him and he has since noted on several social media sites (except twi.tur, he hates it) that this tournament really is gonna be just another step towards glory for himself. Bit of a jerk but gets results and will not tolerate goofing around.
#13 - Raimundo Shinji "RAI" Inosanto Bergamotta - 20 years old - Pacific University - right back
#14 - Ionas VELVET-RIZZI - 20 years old - Tsutsuji University - central back / defensive midfielder
#15 - PARK GA-YUN - 20 years old - Eileen Battle Institute - central back
#16 - Shinji NAKAZAKI - 20 years old - Yuki College - left back

MIDFIELDERS
#6- Ciel ELTNUM Artemisia - 20 years old - Misei University - right midfielder / defensive midfielder / center midfielder / center back

Defensive midfielder by trade, center back by passion, center midfielder when in the mood, right midfielder by absolute necessity. Daughter of a family with heavy roots in the days of the Sunrise Islands and a taste for mechanical apparatus, Ciel is a bit of a black sheep to them in that she prefers to work on adaptability and accessibility, more or less leading Misei University's artificial limb manufacturing department as opposed to what her younger sister went with. Accidentally, such a scenario made her a bit arrogant and hard to work with. She's the only person on the team whose participation in the squad was specifically linked to something not related to the sport. She's here in search of humility, something she admitted to not quite have and the opportunity of playing against teams from abroad might just be what will finally give her that. Her football's not quite to the point as she uses the sport more for testing techniques and whether her custom-made shoes improve matters such as shot curvature, speed and how much it impacts her feet.
#8 - LING AOYUN - 20 years old - Tentai University - center midfielder
The daughter of a couple that lived by the docks, Aoyun would probably have stuck with the family's trade of selling fish while journeying around the coast but she soon found a better (and more stable) vocation in playing football. Serving as the starter for Tentai University, her athletic skills from a lifetime of running on a large ship, grabbing wild fishes and launching the unedible ones over into the sea made her strong, resilient and fast... a deadly combo on the right hands. Personality-wise, she's very outgoing but also rather hotheaded, which means that she's very likely to be the one to get the cards and the most likely to get some dazzling moves... possibly both in a good day, since Aoyun loves to do everything all the way.
#7- Tsuyoshi TANAMATSURI - 20 years old - Kyokaitai University - left midfielder
One of the finest examples of someone whose life essentially just happens to him, Tsuyoshi went through many adventures that came to be because according to himself, "my folks don't shut up when they should". Usually accompanying his two parents, single kid Tsuyoshi lived in at least ten different places before he was able to leave them and join Kyokaitai University thanks to his parents finding creative ways to get themselves evicted. One house blew up following an accident with bandits and a washing machine, another house was essentially cursed by the lost soul of Val Kylx's left leg, one other place was toppled by invading cat girls and his parents more often than not caused those circumstances and others more to happen. Suffice it to say, Tsuyoshi was basically kissing the ground once he heard that he was accepted and took to school life very well, joining their football team and overperforming everyone from sheer willpower. Not the greatest player ever but certainly the most determined one in this outfit.
#10- KIM Banjakineunsoota "JACKIE" - 20 years old - Tobukoku University - offensive midfielder
Twenty-one years ago, a famous Hwangju-pop band named Shining Star Squad decided to break up following a heavy argument between two of its members, presumably about the merits of a pineapple pizza. Three months later, a little girl was born to one of their most devoted fans in Tobukoku. Having given birth to a healthy miss, the fan insisted that she would be the one naming the kid and it seemed to take a mere minute for her to decide. Usually called by friends by Jackie, she insists that she doesn't mind the name and has since gone on to listen to many of SSS' albums thanks to her mother. "They're not bad", the girl noted though she stressed that she did want to be more than just the girl named after a dead band. On the pitch, Jackie is all about speed and striking, her long-shot being her best attribute. Very likely to be the team's free-kick taker though they haven't set that in stone.
#17 - Ricardo "RICARDINHO" Gomes Prestes Júnior - 20 years old - Zeppelin Institute of Higher Learning - central midfielder
#18 - Julia DE HOPPERS - 20 years old - Togene Girls Academy - right midfielder / defensive midfielder
#19 - Mario LENIN-KAMIYA - 20 years old - Utsukushima University - left midfielder / left back
#20 - Zatoichi NAKAMURA - 20 years old - Kanshiro University - central midfielder / right midfielder
#23 - Lollipop "LOLA" Beauxbatons DE RIJN - 20 years old - College de Jeanne d'Arc - offensive midfielder / second striker / central striker

FORWARD
#11 - Nano DA VINCI-HINODEJISHIMA - 20 years old - The University of Chokoboshima - second striker

For most of his life, Nano da Vinci-Hinodejishima could only really share stories about the water. His family runs a kiosk on the beach side of Nashihana's capital and it's on the beach where his father Giuseppe did most of his notably not-very-good paintings that still sold surprisingly well. Nano himself has more of a story with surfing, a sport he took part in often and also where he made a bit of a name, competing in the local scene until he was old enough to attend university. Having been pushed by his parents to try it out, Nano joined his institution's football team and soon found himself starting as the insular Chokoboshima was never really known for having many students and the team itself was in desperate need of a forward. Back there, he mostly sets up balls for the team's primary striker who naturally opted not to participate in the national team for he already has word that a team back in Somei-Yoshino wants him. Nano's job here will be trying to replicate what he did back home with Paccioli up front. He has a calm mind and is likely not to get any cards.
#9 - Lucca PACIOLI - 20 years old - Madonna University - central striker
A laborious striker with a knack for goal in the admittedly weak League of Athena, the one college competition designed to feature institutions that are more focused on academic efforts as opposed to athletic ones although they do have produced some noteworthy talents that naturally have been kicking about only inside the Empire. Lucca himself has a very respectable academic background as the number one student from his small town's Catholic-run high school before being accepted at the prestigious Madonna University where he has since embarked into the wild and exciting world of Accounting. Very likely to score a goal and even more likely to not dazzle with flair while focusing on the technical aspect.
#21 - Tenko FUSHIMI - 20 years old - National Robotics Institute - second striker / offensive midfielder
#22 - PEDRO RAEL da Silva Jimenez - 20 years old - Imperial Forces Academy - central striker

RP PERMISSIONS
Well, like I've said they're the first batch of people the Hinodejin Empire's betting for a future one-time visit in the World Cup's 100th edition. Treat them well, don't injure them and we'll see where this stuff goes. Also, this isn't a mistake. They don't have a manager. It'll be explained later.

The darkest and heaviest (musically, not physically) team of the DBC is back. The Snowy Owlets' last outing at the DBC has been less than spectacular, so the Tikariotian Premier League once more is sending its best youngsters, including some dual nationals.

Image
The fans of the Snowy Owls/Owlets also deserve particular mention. Not only are they renowned for their chants, but they are also bringing the Thunder Clap (Click here for example) to the stadium, something that the players join in as a pre-game ritual that has left an impression on the opponents and opposing fans more than once (OOC: similar to the Haka of the New Zealand All Blacks). The players will form a triangle near the kick-off circle and lift their arms, which the fans do as well. Then a lone drum will start to signal the rhythm and both players and fans alike will move in unison, each clap accompanied by a loud cry, the claps (and cries) speeding up, creating an overwhelming sense of impending doom.

Image
Pierica Dantario - 43 Image
Having spent several years on the coaching staff of senior national team coach Brian McAllister, Dantario has the Tikariotian 4-3-3 system down pat with all its flexibility of the wingbacks pushing forward or the wingers dropping back to create a number advantage.

Like an egg with no purpose, the Qasden Association Football Association (QAFA) scrambled their way through a half-assed fox hunt to find a worthy victim to pioneer their next great flop in youth competition. Ryan Xandreas, one of many ex-NT players to refuse the offer, was signed on anyways as an interim due to an old favor clause snuck into his previous contract with the senior squad. The legendary midfielder was assigned a presumably underwhelming team of unexpected domestic strong-arms, destined for another mid-stage exit from one of Qasden's earliest tournaments. So was expected from the stars of tomorrow, but fate had an off-brand wrench to hurl into those dreary anticipations. A star-aligning campaign, earmarked by interstellar performances from Ander Galleon and Lor Starcutter, saw through the UnderVans to a road unseen since the 2nd Jenna Raven Cup. With a 3-1 win over returning Polar Islandstates, the River's End flowed gold for the first time in youth competition, capping off a generations-long attempt at winning the biggest cup named after a Starblaydian.

Another cycle goes by, and the UnderVans, now managed by a slightly-more-willing Xandreas, now find themselves with newfound revelations and expectations to uphold going into their return to Valanora. Faces young and younger form the principality's first DBC title defense operation, the eyes and sponsorships of infinity fixed in clandestinely judgmental gazes. Can the UVans capture violet-struck gold again? Or was the lightning in a bottle only good for one momentous occasion? Stay tuned, stay updated, and stay alert for another excruciating campaign, live from the ethereal everances of the Eternal Empire!

Team Personality
The Darmeni team will never argue with the referee. Indeed, if anything needs to be brought to the attention of the referee it will be done by either the Captain or Vice-Captain in a respectful manner (or to the fourth-official by the Manager). With regards to foul/dirty play, the Darmeni team will not provoke, or retaliate against any opposition player. Darmeni's expect each team to keep to itself and deal with its own trouble makers; any opposition player who attempts to prevent a conflict by pushing or pulling a Darmeni away from the scene will be promptly told off, as that is the duty of the Darmeni Captain.

Nonetheless, Darmen will play in a relatively aggressive manner. Tackles will be conducted in a way which ensures the opponent ends up on the ground, but causing injury will be avoided as much as possible. On set pieces, Darmenis will stand their ground and will not be easily pushed around, they will not however engage in hugging. In fact, if any opposing player tries to push past them, it is not uncommon for the Darmeni player to feign resistance before simply stepping aside and watching as the opposing player stumbles past on their way to ground. This occasionally backfires however, as the referee may mistake the incidence as having been a foul in the box.

Chromatik U-21 Squad
The Junior Anomalies

Staff
Manager: Claude Pare-Achel (ZWZ), 64
Assistant Manager: Mikhail Dushov, 61
Physio: Anna-Maria Myers, 47
Formation: 3-4-3
Style Modifier: +1.81
U-21 Record: 35-16-23

Being one of the best collegiate managers, Claude Pare-Achel of Zwangzug remains as the U-21 Manager for Chromatika, with the CFF hoping that his success in the CCFA can lead to the Young Anomalies returning to place fourth overall last time around - losing to Polar Islandstates in the Semifinals and Abanhfleft in the match for third place. He'll have the best of the CCFA - though the CFF have recently decreed that only players without a senior cap can play at the U-21 level. What will this limitation do?

The Roster
Goalkeepers
GK 1. Christopher Silverman, 20, Felswyr State University | 6 ft 5 in Quebecois/Chromatik Dual National CAPTAIN
GK 12. Volodymyr Orestovych Havrylenko, 21, Chromatik State University | 6 ft 7 in
GK 23. Rafaela Pilzer, 21, University of the Islands | 6 ft 3 in
GK Christopher Silverman, 21 - Felswyr State University (CMT) Quebecois/Chromatik Dual National
Strengths: Strength, Direct Kicks Weaknesses: Injury Prone, Temperamental
Silverman went viral a year ago after utterly trash talking both the opposing player and the referee. He has his admirers and his naysayers, but he deserves a spot on this team, and is now being given the keys.

GK Volodymyr Orestovych Havrylenko, 21 - Chromatik State University (CMT)
Strengths: Vision, Tenacity, Consistency Weaknesses: Jumping Reach, Set Pieces
A coolheaded tactician who is unfazed no matter what's happened during the match; can struggle on corner kicks but besides that, he's a complete package.

GK Rafaela Pilzer, 21 - University of the Islands (CMT)
Strengths: Strength, Jumping Reach, Acrobatics Weaknesses: Temperamental, Lacks Focus
A physical demon who needs to work on her mental game if she is to be a world-class keeper.

Defensive Backs
RB 2. Mickaël Leroux, 20, Pùr State University | 6 ft 3 in
CB 3. Hwan Yoon-Mi, 21, Chromia Central College University | 6 ft 8 in
LB 4. Charlotte Schöner, 21, Z'ai'ai Institute of Technology | 6 ft 1 in
RB 13. Nik Panagidis, 19, University of Myana | 6 ft 4 in
CB 14. Diego Vandemeulebroucke, 20, Chromatik State University | 6 ft 3 in
LB 15. Yabūchi Norogumi, 21, Felswyr State University | 5 ft 11 in
RB Mickaël Leroux, 20 - Pùr State University (CMT)
Strengths: Creativity, Ball Control Weaknesseses: Clearance, Quickness
An interesting prospect at right back, Leroux isn't afraid of playing the ball in the defensive third. For the longest time, people wanted him to transition to defensive midfielder, but he's stuck at his favored position.

CB Hwan Yoon-Mi, 21 - Chromia Central College University (CMT)
Strengths: Size, Jumping Reach Weaknesses: Offensive Positioning, Heading
A tall, physical center back who can stay in the mix with any striker, Hwan is the stereotypical beanstalk that can stop anything thrown her way. She's not very good at the other end of the field, but is that a problem if she's going to play central defender?

LB Charlotte Schöner, 21 - Z'ai'ai Institute of Technology (CMT)
Strengths: Speed, Shooting Weaknesses: Physicality, Stamina
Charlotte is the latest in the line of offensively-oriented left backs who has pace for days. She isn't the most physical in her defending, but can hound the attacker while trying to steal the ball to kickstart the attack.

RB Nik Panagidis, 19 - University of Myana (CMT)
Strengths: Tenacity, Quickness, Strength Weaknesses: Crossing, Vision
A defender's defender with solid fundamentals who can struggle to get the ball up the field, but doesn't need to very often.

CB Diego Vandemeulebroucke, 20 - Chromatik State University (CMT)
Strengths: Heading, Quickness Weaknesses: Tackling, Strength
A more offensive brand of center back that can be a force on the offensive third of the pitch at the cost of defensive fundamentals.

LB Yabūchi Norogumi, 21 - Felswyr State University
Strengths: Speed, Quickness, Tackling Weaknesses: Strength, Offensive Positioning
A player with endless motor who can really be in the opposition's face.

Midfielders
RM 5. Laurentia Chiriac, 20, Staramara Tech University | 6 ft 4 in
CM 6. Cassandra van der Borght, 21, Pùr State University | 6 ft 1 in
CM 7. Jamie de Monoghela, 20, Eyrods Tech | 5 ft 11 in Quebecois/Chromatik Dual National
LM 8. Nemes Mátyás, 20, Lanar University | 6 ft 5 in
RM 16. Emmanuel Gainsbourg, 21, University of Wirr Tsi | 6 ft 8 in
CM 17. Fernando James, 20, Staramara Tech University | 6 ft 3 in
CM/DM 18. Valentina Vallaki, 19, University of Myana | 6 ft 1 in
LM 19. Róża Panaś, 21, Pùr State University | 6 ft 3 in
RM Laurentia Chiriac, 20 - Staramara Tech University (CMT)
Strengths: Crossing, Shooting Weaknesses: Pace, Positioning
A confident player who's great at setting up for the shot or shooting it herself with her wicked left foot.

CM Cassandra van der Borght, 21 - Pùr State University (CMT)
Strengths: Physicality, Defensive Positioning Weaknesses: Quickness, Shooting
A better-than-average defensive midfielder with solid positioning and physicality to boot, Van Der Borght is very good at decking key players of the opposition to the pitch - cleanly, of course.

CM Jamie de Monoghela, 20 - Eyrods Tech (CMT) Quebecois/Chromatik Dual National
Strengths: Shooting, Quickness Weaknesses: Physicality, Durability
More of an attacking midfielder who can contribute to the attack, work well with the front three, and if needed, take the shot.

LM Nemes Mátyás, 20 - Lanar University (CMT)
Strengths: Set Pieces, Shooting Weaknesses: Positioning, Physicality
The sniper on this squad, Nemes can score from anywhere, and isn't afraid to try.

RM Emmanuel Gainsbrough, 21 - University of Wirr Tsi (CMT)
Strengths: Pace, Stamina Weaknesses: Physicality, Shooting
A tireless tactician who isn't good at recognizing moments where he needs to take risks, but can often times just outlast his foes.

CM Fernando James, 20 - Staramara Tech University (CMT)
Strengths: Offensive Positioning, Shooting Weaknesses: Physicality, Tackling
A true oattacking midfielder who is best used following up the front three for second balls.

CM/DM Valentina Vallaki, 19 - University of Myana (CMT)
Strengths: Balance, Tackling Weaknesses: Crossing, Shooting
A lynchpin defender who works with the back line to halt any attempt at scoring by the opposition, Vallaki almost considered going pro out of high school but was never really recognized by the CFF. Now, his brilliance is starting to be recognized.

LM Róża Panaś, 21 - Pùr State University (CMT)
Strengths: Passing, Stamina Weakness: Shooting, Speed
Róża isn't the fastest nor the most creative on the pitch, but she can often be treated as the last line of defense - being that player that is between the attack and the defense. She isn't afraid of getting her hands dirty if the occasion calls for it, either.

Forwards
RW 9. Annemarije van der Wel, 21, Pria Technical College | 6 ft 7 in

RW 20. Szalai Júlia, 20, Z'ai'ai Institute of Technology | 6 ft 1 in
ST 21. Lorie Du Toit, 20, Southern Chromatik University | 6 ft 4 in
LW 22. Willemieke Jannissen op Colmans, 21, Felswyr State University | 6 ft 2 in
RW Annemarije van der Wel, 21 - Pria Technical College (CMT)
Strengths: Clutch Shots, Heading Weaknesses: Crossing, Team Play
An enigma of sorts, van der Wel, when playing nice with her teammates, is a model citizen that can be an asset to any team, doing well late in matches with the game on the line. However, if the opposition can get in her head, she can become a toxic liability.

ST Yubkina Celestyna Gennadievna, 21, Sanar University (CMT)
Strengths: Shooting, Pace Weaknesses: Physicality, Passing
Not the best in traffic, but shines with the ball in front of her. Not the most imposing of strikers, but gets results when necessary.

LW Anne-Sophie D'Aboville, 21 - Eyrods Tech (CMT)
Strengths: Crossing, Shooting Weaknesses: Physicality, Agility
A one-directional winger who, when she makes up her mind to go one direction, overcommits. Needs specific game plans to help her shine, but when she does, she absolutely does.

RW Szalai Júlia, 20 - Z'ai'ai Institute of Technology (CMT)
Strengths: Crossing, Passing, Quickness Weaknesses: Physicality, Defensive Positioning
Another pass-first winger with some surprising pace that can shoot when needed, just don't ask her to come back and defend.

ST Lorie Du Toit, 20 - Southern Chromatik University (CMT)
Strengths: Strength, Tenacity, Big Matches Weaknesses: Quickness, Injury Prone
A striker who shines best in big matches, outmuscling the defenders to get to the ball and strike it home.

LW Willemieke Jannissen op Colmans, 21 - Felswyr State University (CMT)
Strengths: Pace, Stamina Weaknesses: Shooting, Heading
An unconventional winger who is more of a support character than a scorer. He's very good at setting up that goal, though.

Usual Starting Lineup:
SILVERMAN (C)
LEROUX - HWAN - SCHÖNER
CHIRIAC - VAN DER BORGHT - DE MONOGHELA- MÁTYÁS
VAN DER WEL - GENNADIEVNA - D'ABOVILLE

Likely starting XI (4-2-3-1): Foster; Jvarsson, Stanley, Donk, Apyrphung; Mocks, Edwards-Hillier; Morales, Vincent, Pickett; Markusson. This could be subject to significant change; Patterson is on record as wanting to rotate his side, which journalists think is because he doesn't know his best XI and is disguising this with talk of including the whole squad.

If my opponent RPs our match first, I give them permission to:
Choose my goalscorers: Yes
Godmod scoring events: No
RP Injuries to my players: Yes, but tread carefully and perhaps TG/DM first.
Godmod injuries to my players: No
Hand out yellow cards to my players: Yes, but mostly to the players marked.
Hand out red cards to my players: Yes, but only to the players marked.
Godmod other events: No

Manager
Kasper Volheim
Age: 50
The experience of dealing with youth teams, even if it was only as just an assistant manager, paid off quite well for Volheim as he is now a key fixture in the national team program and likely to stay so long as the success at both the youth level and the senior level sustains itself. Shifting his ability to communicate with the young players under his command from the assistant position to the manager position will be a huge question, but he will look to capitalize on his experience with the senior team and his time as Faeron's assistant to try and take the Young Marauders forward.

Assistant Manager
Thor Møller
Age: 42
A former national team striker who has been working the last two years as the reserve coach for Mar Sara FC. The appointment is likely only a single cycle post for the young manager, as he looks to use the under twenty-one team as a launch point for his own managerial career. His experience as a player makes it easy for him to translate what is needed for the players to get ready for their games and keep the squad focused on the tasks on hand.
