One of my favorite images ever is of baseball legend Ty Cobb sliding. It's not the well known 'rugged' image of him kicking up a cloud of dirt at third base, though. It's the one of him sliding into home.

Witness the funniest picture in the world.

Cobb wasn't as dirty a player as he's sometimes made out to be, but he definitely... aimed.

Ranked fourth in American League East. New York is actually doing better.

Of course, I say that with respect, because I intend to be allowed in Boston again after my internship. :lol2:

Google has made the highly controversial decision today to feature Barbara May Cameron because today would be her 69th birthday, had she not died at 47 years of age. Supposedly was a "human rights activist" for the LGBT community among other things.

Highly controversial among one of the six people who clicked on it, I'm sure.
Furthermore, I consider that feminism must be destroyed.

I'd like to visit an urban area with close access to beautiful nature. I'll be traveling alone if that matters. The places I've been looking at are Adelaide, Melbourne and Hobart. As you can see, I'm trying to avoid the less UV intensive areas of Australia. Any thoughts?

Also considering Budapest, Hungary.

I'm retracting the above question. I decided on Hungary.

You probably do, but I have a certain emotional attachment to MBTA, which outweighs objective reality.

Lemme guess, she pissed a lot of people off. That's enough to make her a controversial figure, isn't it?
