Yes we know it's January, but tonight Libcord was just really feeling Halloween and was keen to get in the spirit. This included jamming out to "This is Halloween" and craving some candy. Ever tried junior mints? They're really good! Mint+chocoloate for the win. Ok not all of us could agree on that one but trust us the candies were good. There was also witchcraft and some sp00ky regions like Realm Of The Dead which we detagged as we are wont to do. Then there was the dreaded dead zone, an area were 7 minutes passed between detags as the tagfields grew every sparser. Or it would have been dead but the chat was poppin and a good time was had by all. I guess you had to be there though. Maybe you could do that, come check us out and see for yourself what other wacky stuff TGW and our pals on Libcord get up to these days.

Brave Wardens were led through the Realm of the Dead

Featured Warden January 2023 - Wolflandil

This month's featured Warden, Wolflandil, has been on NationStates for nearly nine years. Spending most of their career in smaller roleplay-oriented communities, they branchd out into gameplay in early/mid-2022 following a raid on their home region, The Mystical Council (now The Mystical Alliance). Not long after getting involved in defending, they joined the Order, and have since been an active and energetic presence.

To absolutely no one's shock, I'm here to announce the promotion of Westinor aka Bestinor to Warden-Lieutenant

Prophesied as far back as 2021, Westinor joined TGW right before Christmas and has quickly proven why they carry the name Bestinor as one of our best updaters and recruiters of late. West's skills were well-known prior to their time with us as one of the fastest R/Ders in NS and for their unrelenting enthusiasm on anything they put their mind to. West has only proven this to be more true by non-stop grinding out updates in TGW, often leading updates themselves or in training, to increase their formidable talent as a defender. The same could be said for the time West has put into recruiting for The Order after a fierce competition with Varax over the last month in dozens of hours of recruitment or from the already multiple projects West has taken on for TGW's internal development in just their short time of being here

It's safe to say Westenant is more than deserving, and we've been absolutely hyped to see West matching their skills against our already fricken talented Wardens. I'm positive we'll see West continue to excel with their new role as they do with everything else bc westinor is bestinor

Ica & Ica Taxi Adventures


Ica & Ica go whizzing by raiders with all of Libcord stuffed in their taxi

You know it's going to be a good update when we get Icarus and Icaris in the same update chat to have an Ica & Ica party, no matter how confusing it gets. Today Ica & Ica regaled update chat with the adventures of German taxis where listeners were horrified to learn they don't take card! Or venmo!

Rest assured, Ica & Ica took care of the situation and commandeered their own taxi to chase down raiders in Suspicious from across the pond together. They trundled Libcord (yes, all of Libcord) into the back of the cab and took off racing after the raiders are they barreled from stop to stop. The Ica & Ica taxi co. proved superior though as they beat the raiders into 16 stops while raiders won just 1 stop against the speed fiens and missed plenty more!
