Woah woah, hold the phone here. You're telling me that we've been at this for 9 days now, the entire narrative of the raid from the defender side has already been written, and only now is this going to be brought up, as a smug gotcha on a throwaway taunt? As if it was common knowledge that we should have all been aware of? Where's the source if it's so obvious?

Why didn't it occur to you, or anyone else on the defender side, that maybe we'd want to know that the reason defenders aren't trying in Moon isn't because of anything previously said in public since last Thursday, but it was actually because of some extremely obscure fascist ties that made it Do-Not-Defend? You realize that changes the entire vibe of the op, right? Why do you think we'd want to taunt you about not defending fascists?

What happened here is probably that you gave up early, then decided to start digging for arcane reasons to justify it, which is why it hasn't come up until just now. If you knew from the beginning, then it would have been an easy retort for you from Day 1, instead of the long response to the raid from the First Warden that never brought this up. This looks double bad given how you and your own ignored Bronyleader and others when they tried to explain the fascist ties that Embassies4Breakfast had, because the timing was "suspicious". The only difference between then and now is that you had the numbers to beat us then, and you don't now. And you have the balls to say we toe the IC-OOC line?

I've done some light digging on Lunar rheinland. Can you -show- these telegrams, or would it be considered a violation of NS site policy to show them in this thread? Hell, could you show them over Discord? If this was the reason, I'm just going to direct to Koth's post above. Because the digging I've done on forum posts and RMB posts seems to show a different story, and I'm just confused.

Why not just say: 'Hey. Moon had X in it, so we're not defending it.'

'Oh ok, cool. Thanks for telling us.'

Thank you for the added context, Numero. I no longer assume by default that defenderdom at large had anything to do with this quip, but I'll echo Hazel and politely ask for clarification on whether or not that information had disseminated from Tim's DMs and into the hands of anyone who would then use it as justification for abandoning efforts in Moon.

Yep, y'all had that training raid outnumbered with a good crew of mostly 0s chasers that were on point, props. Nice to actually see 8-odd defenders showing up again - after the 15ish you scrambled for my monday night raiding. Defenders finding life at update again? =P

I'm just glad we got our trainee dialed in from 15s jumps to 1s jumps. Some folks might laugh at me saying this, but that improvement is the primary goal of Private's First Raid/training runs, not hits. =) Always happy to see someone new growing by leaps and bounds....at this rate, they'll be ready for the fancier stuff to deal with being outnumbered in just another raid or two!

This afternoon's liberators were roused from their sleepy weekend and preparations for Christmas after discovering yet another region in which raiders had hoarded endorsements! Comrade Nakari quelled the troops with the wisdom shared above and promised the region would be recaptured from the raiders and their uncommunist endorsement-hoarding tendencies. The liberators, though horrified at the thought, set off with determination and flawlessly slid into the region with the assistance of commie kitties for their journey. Endorsement-hoarding wolves dislodged and victory in hand, the commie kitties and liberators parted ways to continue Christmas preparations

Endless Update

This is the update that doesn't end
Yes, it goes on and on, my friends

You may have heard of the games Endless Legend and Endless Space...now get ready for Endless Update! Well...nearly endless update. A bit over 8 hours and 30 minutes at any rate. Long enough for rumors to swirl. Where these the end times? Would minor update expand to devour major update and explode into a ball of spaghetti? Was this the start of a new 24/7 update meta (for the love of God...please no)?

As it turns out, it was simple admin work being done. Reality is often less interesting, alas.


While waiting through the endlessness of update, Libcord comes to terms with the end times.

Somewhere in the vastness of time, space and fatigued server hamsters, detags happened. As the hours passed by and we endured a marathon of waiting 3 hours for The West Pacific to update something curious happened. Those of us who would usually be elsewhere during minor finished their daily work to find .. *gasp*, update was still running. They then proceeded to hop on to get that sweet sweet Libcord credit by jumping on to detag a region that typically would have updated hours earlier. By the time it actually updated most of us had found other things to do, like anything really.
