"I would also like to know of Comrade Krinva's qualifications, I fear that he was recommended for the sake of bias instead of genuine qualification."

Ulzytyn wiped his brow, he had suspected that Janpia would of course put one of their own into the KTO Rapid Response Force through the bias of being one of the founding powers. He, and presumably his countrymen back home, would ideally prefer an officer from a non-founding nation. However it seems too far fetched of an ideal with as much power as Janpia has in the matter. He slightly frowned at the thought of it being unobtainable.

Michalina Dolata, the Livonian representative reaches into her pocket and draws her phone, quickly excusing herself and walking outside the room. For the next 30 minutes the Livonian seat would lay empty, when she finally returned her expression had changed from the initial concern to a pale blank expression. She quickly began moving to her seat before tapping the microphone a single time and saying.

Michalina Dolata: "It has recently come to my attention over the last few minutes that Prime Minister Anton Kapek has deceased. From what I have been told Admiral Dworak will serve as our temporary head of state. I believe he is currently in an exercise, the Klabauter Exercise I believe. I do not know if we have currently alerted him of his... unfortunate promotion. If one of you could contact your forces in the region and alert him that would be greatly appreciated as none of us have been able to reach him yet. "

Prince Hulfe rose and said, "Ladies and gentlemen: I would like to propose a minute of silence for Prime Minister Anton Kapek. May he rest in peace." He bowed his head for a minute, regardless of what others around him did.

Lopez follows suit, holding her hands almost in prayer, as she lowers her head as well.

Jun Norikov, looking over at the…… still present, so to say, body of Representative Tezuyu as if he had just noticed it, raises his hand.

“I…… feel as if it is rather strange of me to only notice now, but I don’t believe we ever actually…… moved the body of Tezuyu after his unfortunate passing.”

“I believe we should, mayhaps, actually do something about his body, so the next representative from Yitanka does not…… see their predecessor in such a state- oh.”

Looking over at the now-entering Representative Kunahai, Norikov looks as if he has been stabbed 50 times in the gut by a parade of poisoned daggers, it takes him a long moment to begin speaking once more.

”…… That is….. not representative Tezuyu!”

He says this in the same tone as a man attempting to conceal the fact he has shot his commanding officer by accident, before awkwardly pausing for a long moment once more.

“….It is simply a life-like replica we were using as a stand in for…… the future ambassador of your nation, but now that you have arrived we can remove it from the premises!”

The manner in which he says this is similar to a man pleading for a stay of execution, inevitably knowing their request will be denied but not being able to stop for fear of accepting their end.

Colonel Alexander Peterson stood beside the deceased body of his friend - good friend - of Representative Shin Tezuyu. Medics had already attempted to grab his body, but the Colonel had fended them off with his combat knife. Blood soaked his hands. He hadn't slept for days as he kept the medics and personnel at bay. No one knew what to do in that interim; business somberly continuing in the boardroom while eyes cautiously examined the slow progression of insanity the Colonel display. He had even gone so far as to suggest - propose even - a new bill to ward off taking away Tezuyu's body. Either the two had been secret lovers or the Colonel had truly snapped. His own staff couldn't get to him, so it was decided that PTSD or some other mental break had happened.

Anagonian Marines had been called in, on standby, as a force from the KTO's own reserves had entered the room. Colonel Peterson twirled and stared viciously at the new representative from Yitanka who arrived. He yelled at her, a primal yell, from a man who had experienced so much death and bloodshed and could tolerate no more. He waved his knife threateningly.

"Stay back! Stay back! He's still alive, damn you!" he screamed, eyes pouring with fresh tears. "He didn't die! Stop trying to kill this man! He's my friend! My battle buddy! I will defend my battle buddy! My battle buddy is my life! My life for my battle buddy! Do not touch him!"

Crying, he began to shake the now decomposing mans corpse. "Tezuyu! Tezuyu! Get up now! Get up! We got to get up! They're coming to take you away! I won't you! MELKOS DAMN IT TEZUYU! I WON"T LOSE ANOTHER FRIEND! I CAN'T! PLEASE GET UP!"

He twirled, hearing the footsteps of the Confederate Marines inch closer. "STAY BACK! I'M THE COLONEL! I COMMAND YOU TO STAY BACK! THIS MAN IS STILL ALIVE!"

"I see, I see," said Prince de Hulfe, musing, and stifling another cough. "I think that he sounds like a very fine candidate indeed. If there are no others, I would like to recommend..."

He was interrupted by an exclamation from the Yitankan delegate:
Rep Kunahi: "Oh...oh my god! What the hell! Is...is that Tezuyu?"

Others soon joined in.

De Hulfe exclaimed, "Wait...there's a corpse here? And of one of the delegates?" he stared, appalled, at what was going on.

Rep Ivan, of Great Oceania replied, "Was Tezuyu I think he died from a stroke or heart attack" it only took a few seconds for the puzzle pieces to be put together and realized no one removed the body of the deceased former representative "oh shit I just realized the medics came in I think and uhh yeah no one forgot to remove his corpse from the meeting room hmm I can get a clean-up crew to remove the body if you want"

To add to that, Representative Jun Norkov began to speak concerning the corpse, concluding with: “….It is simply a life-like replica we were using as a stand in for…… the future ambassador of your nation, but now that you have arrived we can remove it from the premises!”

"What!" cried Prince de Hulfe.

Then, Colonel Alexander Peterson of Anagonia began to act like a character in a tragic play, actually touching the body, and crying, screaming,
as he began to shake the now decomposing mans corpse. "Tezuyu! Tezuyu! Get up now!

Prince de Hulfe got up, coughing frantically into his handkerchief, and managing to wheeze to his deputy, "Send for me...cough...when this madness stops...cough...ancestors, how right we were to isolate..." and his shoulder shaking from coughing, he left the room.

Seeing the situation turn into a shitshow Ivan did what any sane man would do he pulled out his government-issued Model 10 revolver and cocked it ready to fire it any moment while watching this guy break down over this guy.

"Sir put the knife down so you don't harm anyone I know its hard to accept reality but sir Tezuyu is no longer with us except for his decaying corpse no one needs to die or get hurt anymore just put the knife down," Ivan said while his gun is cocked he had pointed down not wanting it to have it pointed at anyone just in case it was discharged by accident. "we have a 10-103-M in the meeting room I repeat a 10-103-M," Ivan said into an earpiece of his and it didn't take long for a few Special Control Force operators to burst into the room while their CCR-MJ rifles were holstered they had non-lethal weaponry on them in the form of tasers, and SK-1 stun-batons and they already know the drill and that was to help assist the Anagonian marines in an attempt to control their colonel and calm him down.

Island of Trintalia
Combined Yitankan/Anagonian Rescue Operation

Nations didn't require treaties to work together for the common good. Such was the case between the Soviet Union and the Confederate States. An alarming strong gang of rogue pirates had banded together and managed to raid cruise liners containing, by chance, a combined population of Yitankan and Anagonian civilians on vacation. This prompted the two nations to send their best and most capable to handle it. Major Alexander Peterson lead the Confederate Marines response and Lieutenant Shin Tezuyu lead his expertly drilled Soviet Marines in their response. The cooperation had not been easy, at first, but together the two had formed a very strong professional friendship as they worked past obstacles and - eventually - gained the upper hand. They were, also, subsequently, the last two of the combined response team inside the abandoned military bunker capable of putting up a fight.

They had equally around three other Marines each, of course, but the majority of the forces had either been slaughtered in the deadly and ambushes or had been dragged back to safety for medical care. The pirates were no normal pirates. They called themselves the "Midnight Flowers" and consisted of several hundreds of exiled special forces soldiers from across the world. The very fact they had chosen the place they did and the raid they undertook was no accident either. They wanted to blackmail both Yitanka and Anagonia into paying billions. Both nations responded by sending in the Marines.

"Just one more room," Major Peterson said, huffing, blood dripping down his face from an open wound - not profusely thankfully.

"One more room," confirmed Lieutenant Tezuyu. He was equally beaten up in places, though thankfully not as bloody.

The two had formed a very close bond as Marines. This was the last of twelve engagements the two had undertaken together. Slowly, over those engagements, Alexander had come to consider Shin a battle buddy. It was a highly esteemed position in the Corps between Marines, as well as the standard operating practice in the Anagonian Military. Shin had, on multiple occasions, saved Alexanders life. Alexander, in return, had nearly given his twice for his friend. They were inseparable now. Brothers in arms, permanently, regardless of the future.

Both nodded to one another as they shared a look of understanding.

Tezuyu leaped first, yelling in the primal warrior scream of his people. Alexander next, screaming equally madly as all six of the remaining Marines from both forces stormed in behind. Rationality was out the window as guns were expertly trained and fired. It took sixty seconds of firing and hiding, but by the end, not a single civilian was lost. All six of the remaining pirates were dead and only two Marines - both from Anagonia - had been mortally wounded. By the time the extra forces had come in to reinforce it was well over. At the end of it, both Alexander and Shin stood inside the holding room for the hostages.

They shared a firm handshake - a manly shake. Gripping each other by the wrist firmly and shaking. They nodded to one another, a sacred promise. They had bled together, fought together, lost men together. They would die together if need be. Nothing would ever separate this vow or promise, regardless how far in the future events played out.

By the end of things, both nations gained mutual respect. Time moved on as it always did, until it came full circle at a later date between the two.

***~~***~~***

Present Day

"STAY FUCKING BACK!"

The Colonel had truly snapped. He remembered their fight. He remembered their promise. He had failed his friend and their vow. Now he would make sure that he wouldn't fail him again. No, that's not right! Tezuyu was still alive! He chanced a look back, an-

SMACK

A Confederate Marine had charged forward quickly, using the butt of his rifle to try to disable the Colonel. The Colonel wasn't having any of it. He lunged back, somehow not harmed by the intended disabling attack, and twirled his knife to strike at the Marine. The Marine reeled as he held his side, screaming as his own Battle Buddy rushed up to handle him back. Thankfully it wasn't mortal. By the end of it, the Colonel had traded his knife for the Marines rifle. He began to raise it.

"STAY FUCKING BA-"

KaKRACK

The room fell silent as a rifle report resounded in the room. Another Confederate Marine, the Sergeant of the squad, had his MAP-98 Assault Rifle raised and aimed. The end of the barrel smoked. The Sergeant, a stern and elderly man, held only a tinge of sadness to his expression. But he had Marines to protect, his own Battle Buddies - alive and kicking - to defend. The Colonel's attack had justified a response. Marines defended - and put down - their own. Even the wounded Marine chanced a glance at the Colonel, now a corpse standing as his rifle began to droop and drop from his hands. All of the Confederate Marines watched their own die, the hole in his head beginning to ooze.

Stumbling, the walking corpse of Colonel Alexander Peterson went to a knee beside the body of the deceased Ambassador Shin Tezuyu. A hand, trembling, went to the shoulder.

"I'm so-...sorr-...sorr-...."

It was all he could manage. There was a massive exit wound on the other end the Colonel's head. The Sergeant, now lowering his weapon, kept his eyes focused. He had put this man down, his own down. He was going to watch his sins play out. Whatever was starting to war itself within him, the Sergeant had seen similar instances, and each time it always drove him some manner of mad. This would only add to it.

As the Colonel slumped, his head impacted the edge of the table, knocking him back briefly before the mind and soul parted ways. The walking corpse became a true corpse and the Colonel's body fell flat on the ground.

It was over.

"Unit 2250, this is Sergeant Glandly," reported the Sergeant as he stared at the corpse of the once living Colonel. There was a pause when a reply came. The Sergeant's expression twitched.

"I-....Situation resolved, over."

One Marine took the injured Marine away to a medic. He would survive, thankfully. The remainder came forward and assisted the other medics with Ambassador Tezuyu's body, then proceeded to carefully - and gently - tend to that of the Colonel's. They carried his body away all as one, an honored departure to a troubled and broken man. He hadn't intended harm. He had simply just...snapped. He would be sent off to his afterlife with full honors. There would be no horribly manipulated mention of this in his obituary. It would state simply he had died, a troubled Marine, sacrificing his last bit of grip for his friend. He died for his battle buddy, to defend him unto the afterlife.

When all was said and done, medics from all nations had come in and properly cleaned the scene. For the moment, as both bodies of Colonel Peterson and Ambassador Tezuyu were appropriately and honorably tended and disposed, Anagonia didn't have a replacement. The seat would remain tragically empty for a time. Until such time as one as honorable as the late Colonel's could be found to continue on his work.

Jun Norikov, having both fallen silent and ceased moving since the start of the Colonel’s rampage, finally stands once more.

Seemingly unable to comprehend what has occurred, he makes to leave, as the medics also exit the room getting directly before the door before suddenly turning his head back to the scene and speaking once more.

“I believe I shall be gone for…… some time.”

As he finished the clipped statement, he finally left.

The man Walked.
He walked out of the room, he walked out of the building, he walked and walked and walked as the horrid scene echoed throughout his mind.

He walked and walked and walked, uncaring of where he went, prehaps unable to care where he went.

He walked and walked until he could do so no more, and as he finally turned his head from the ground, and slightly shook of the flow of sound and sight and blood and woe from his sight, he noticed he had come to a river.

Not a notable river, not one an native individual would, say, stop and consider, but simply one to be passed through as one continued with their life.

And yet, to the One who Walked, it was salvation, it was freedom, it was an end to the noise and the sound and the blood and the-

He stopped, he silenced the thoughts for just one moment, and he marched into the waters.

As they took him, there was silence.

Another casualty to fate, another individual to be replaced.

The Special Control Force officers were surprised that the Anagonian marines just capped one of their colonels if would’ve been done differently if they were to do it by using their stun batons and taser which had their voltage amped up a bit to deal with such people standard procedures for every officer and to pacify the now deceased colonel with them and if that didn’t work they would’ve shot him. Now with the situation resolved with a bullet to the head and after with everything it also means paperwork.

As everyone did their thing either be exiting the room, cleaning the mess or removing the 2 bodies one SpecConFor officer radioed to an certain frequency only accessible by officers like him.

“Representative deserviced Malcompliance Verdict killed” after that he walked out of the room to go file a report about the incident and have it sent to Party Officials.

“Well I think I have seen enough I have decided that it’s my best interest to leave there will be someone who will replace me in my absence” Ivan said packing his stuff up and walking out with the others.

Representative Kunahi just stood there pale as a ghost as everything went down. She flinched when the marine engaged the Colonel and again when the killing shot rang out. She stood there as the bodies were removed from the room. And even after everything began to settle, she stood there, frozen in place.

Rep Kunahi: "I...I think I need to step out as well..."

Briskly walking out of the room, Rep. Kunahi found a secluded spot outside the KTO Headquarters to hyperventilate and have a nervous breakdown, making sure to put a tree between herself and the building full of potential onlookers. Never has she imagined she would witness anything close to what she just saw. She didn't even imagine that soldiers saw such horrifying things until it happened in front of her. And now the spot she was supposed to sit at was the site of not one, but two deaths, one of which was her own colleague she had somewhat known and the other she watched die right in front of her.

As she broke down, Kara Kunahi focused on the nearby river to calm herself. Having grown up in a village near a river herself, Kara had always loved the water and the sounds of a winding stream. Unfortunately (or, for her sake, fortunately) she was further up stream than Jun Norikov was and could not see him take his own life from the angle she was at. Instead, the river simply brought her some amount of tranquility and comfort as she did what she could to put herself back together and return to doing her job.

And there sat Gamburyan...

In the midst of the insanity - he'd done his best to maintain his composure and, in a way, he did just that. There was...little to be done - after all. For if he stood, he would shake - and were he to shake, the facade would be dropped. Quite honestly, it was a miracle that he didn't lose his composure when Maximoff had fallen unconscious - yet, the fact that he was alive was quite the relief. And so - he resorted to a silent prayer;

"O God of spirits and of all flesh, Who hast trampled down death and overthrown the Devil, and given life to Thy world, do Thou, the same Lord, give rest to the souls of Thy departed servants in a place of brightness, a place of refreshment, a place of repose, where all sickness, sighing, and sorrow have fled away. Pardon every transgression which they have committed, whether by word or deed or thought. For Thou art a good God and lovest mankind; because there is no man who lives yet does not sin, for Thou only art without sin, Thy righteousness is to all eternity, and Thy word is truth.

For Thou are the Resurrection, the Life, and the Repose of Thy servants who have fallen asleep, O Christ our God, and unto Thee we ascribe glory, together with Thy Father, who is from everlasting, and Thine all-holy, good, and life-creating Spirit, now and ever unto ages of ages. Amen.

Damien Milner: "So, I was correct after all. Diplomacy can bring peace to the World, but Diplomacy can bring death to the Diplomat."

Damien Milner would start laughing hysterically, he remembered he forgot to take his pills, but it didn't matter. He was suffering from Bipolar. He would bring out his gun and shoot himself in the head, while saying, "My life will be better suited above, earth isn't for people like me."

The same SpecConFro from earlier came in after hearing the gunshot came back to see what hell happened this time only to see another dead representative.

“God fucking damnit do you people have any consideration for people like me and the janitors like holy fuck learn to kill yourself somewhere else but here all you of people need to see a goddamn therapist” the Officer yelled his voice hidden by his mask vocoder “Controller another representative deserviced verdict a bullet to the head” he said radioed again before requesting clean up crew to come in which was 2 guys to remove the body and a PT-726 to mop up the mess.

First Tezuyu dropping dead, Colonel Peterson having his head blown out and then finally, finally, Milner deciding to follow suit by blowing his own brains out.

The sudden death of Tezuyu had had a profound effect on Joseph, he had never witnessed death so to see a life suddenly flicker had a severe impact on his mental status, reducing him to little more than a shell of a man sat in the boardroom barely acknowledging the surrounding mayhem, numb to the world. Now two other men had died, one snapping and giving into his rage and the other choosing the easy way out.

He could feel his sanity slipping, being pulled out from under him by the decaying, rotten hands of hands of Tezuyu, Peterson and Milner. The numbness was giving way to a feeling of despair and doom that he did not think was possible for a human being to experience. He knew that soon, he would either be another nutcase the Anagonian marines would have to put down for the safety of everyone else in the room. He didn't have a gun like Milner did. The only thing he knew was that he could either be put down like a dog, or die on his own terms.

Whilst he didn't have a gun, or a faulty heart, he did have gravity.

Using a trembling hand to help himself up, he stood up and straightened out the fold on his clothes. Without uttering a word he pushed away from the table, sprinting towards the nearest window. If anyone dared to shout, the thumping of his heart drowned out any sound. Seconds later, he hit the window which shattered with the impact of his body running full pelt at it and before he knew it the familiar sensation of the floor was gone, and now was falling towards the concrete. In his last seconds of existence, the feeling of despair turned to relief. He smiled as his face shattered into a splintered mess of bone and brains against the concrete.

Rep. Lopez just facepalms, calling up Laura Ortiz. She left a message, probably something along the lines of the fucking boardroom being full of suicidal maniacs.
Praise our glorious leader Laura Ortiz!

“Are you fucking kidding me! Like there is no fucking way this happening today now 3 people are dead and the that’s mean more paperwork! Controller we got yet another representative deserviced goddamn you people” Let’s say the guy was not happy at all knowing that he has to deal with the shit that just happened today.

As the medics and other functionaries finally cleared from the building itself, the latest ambassador to come to this…… unfortunate, so to say, room finally arrived.

Stepping through the door that had, so few hours ago, been home to the efforts to move the bodies of two old allies, Ambassador Toma Kuzmin takes a seat in the chair once reserved for Jun Norikov (which, still possessing the nameplate of his predecessor would require replacing at some point).

Taking a moment to catch his breath, the man begins speaking slightly hurriedly.

“Salutations to all present, my name is Toma Kuzmin.”

“I am here to act as the temporary replacement for Jun Norikov until such time as he can be found and retrieved from his unexplained absence from the boardroom.”

He said this with some hesitancy, strangely, as if he had caught onto something he was not supposed to and had started worrying silently about it.
