Bering Strait
Amur-class submarine "K-2315" was engaged with an enemy submarine,
and according to the information acquired from a single passive sonar
ping, it was discovered that it was a Mitheldalondian ship named the
USS Seawolf. It continued to pursue the now stricken USS Seawolf.
Capt. Ivan Vakhromeyev had ordered the loading of tube one, and for
tube two to remain on standby. The Communications Chief was ordered
to report the contact with the nearby Slava Class Cruiser "Varyag"
It was from there, protocol dictated that the report makes it's way to
the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense.
The submarine's SLOT buoy is launched, quickly reaching
the surface of the sea.
"Varyag, Varyag, K-2315 reporting."
"K-2315 reporting hostile vessel at 60.86894575791237, -170.55329256997436,
passive ping relayed Mitheldalondian Los Angeles Class 'USS Seawolf'. Engaged
with hostile in compliance with protocol."
"Affirmative K-2315." The Communications Crew aboard the Varyag responded.
The officers aboard the Varyag received the news of the presence of the
Mitheldalondian Submarine and had marked it accordingly on a map in
the Combat Information Center (CIC) of the ship. Varyag Communications
Officer was then ordered to report the contact to the nearest Naval base
in Kotzebue.
Aboard the Varyag crusier, two KA-27 ASW Helos are scrambled. The Helos
fly a few meters above the water, eventually coming to a hover. The
Helos launch their on-board Sonar Probes, letting them hit the surface of
the sea, eventually letting them sink below into the icy depths. And then
they awaited for the ping of the USS Seawolf.

The final weapon swam out of the attack submarine's torpedo tube, and the 'USS Seawolf' began to slowly turn toward the west, away from the Sound, while still directing the wire-guided mine to its intended location. She had just finished laying a field of 24 Mk67 Submarine-Launched Mobile Mines across the entrance to the Sound, concentrated along the route Uralian supply ships and warships had been following into and out of the area. The mines would lie quietly on the bottom until a Uralian ship came by to set them off, waiting for weeks if need be. Most of Kotzebue Sound was less than 50 ft deep, and the shallow depth would make the mines especially effective.
With the last mine in place, 'USS Seawolf' headed back out to sea at a silent 10 knots. About half an hour later, as she made her way into deeper water, her sonar systems picked up the sound of a Uralian transport ship about 20,000 yd (~18 km) away, heading for Kotzebue Sound along the course 'USS Seawolf' had just finished mining. This wasn't unexpected; naval intelligence had provided the ship's itinerary and time of departure, and 'Seawolf' had been dispatched to mine the Sound before its arrival.Kotzebue Sound, Alaska
MS Hachiwa
It was a boringly average day for the crew of the MS Hachiwa. A civilian icebreaker freighter slowly making its way to Alaska loaded with an assortment of ores and other such resources. Her captain, Masu Moro, had only been in command of a vessel for a little over a year and it was definitely not anything like he thought it would be. With such a routine trip being carried out, Captain Moro was on the verge of dozing off.
"Could be worse, Masu," the captain's first mate and longtime friend, Ancho Shuchuachi, said as he watched Masu's head jerk back up to keep from nodding off. "Could have been one of those poor bastards on the Safugyu when it blew up outside of Dejanca."
"Heh, yeah...I guess your r-"
BOOM
The Hachiwa trembled as the middle of the ship blew outwards, then buckled and collapsed, splitting the vessel in two. Now wide awake, Captain Moro immediately moved to sound the alarm to abandon ship, but with no part of the ship's electrical systems intact the PA system had been rendered completely useless. Rushing out of the bridge, the captain grabbed a hold of the bell just beyond the door and rang it as hard and loud as her could.
"Abandon ship!"
With such a sizeable portion of the ship missing, the sinking was progressing rapidly. What little crew that had not died or been knocked unconscious from the blast initially went to look for the lifeboats. But seeing as how they, too, were destroyed, no other option existed except to brave the fractured ice and frozen waters of the Arctic.
All were dead within the hour
Bering Strait
Yitankan Naval Patrol Group
Detecting the explosion on passive sonar and confirming the Hachiwa's destruction electronically, the 4 Suyifu-class attack subs patrolling the strait were dispatched to sweep the area and locate the cause of the explosion. As they approached Kotzebue Sound, they began scanning the area with active sonar.
When the ping from the Mitheldalondian sub was returned, all four of the Suyifu-class subs were able to positively identify its class. Unaware of whether or not it had been the cause of the Hachiwa's demise (and not wanting to potentially start a war), the lead sub pinged the USS Seawolf with its sonar to convey a message in International Morse code demanding the sub surface immediately.

OPERATION SEAWOLF
Near the Mouth of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Washington
Asset Codename 'USS Carter':
Even as 'USS Seawolf' was heading back out to sea, another attack submarine, 'USS Carter', was finishing a mining operation of her own. Naval intelligence had provided advance notice of the Gonswanzan evacuation, and now it was time to make the barbaric invaders suffer.
The Strait of Juan de Fuca was a narrow, 11 mile wide channel that provided the only connection between the Pacific Ocean and several major cities, including Seattle and Vancouver, as well as the major naval base and shipyard at Puget Sound. Any Gonswanzan forces, vehicles, and equipment to be evacuated in the Washington/Vancouver/North Oregon area would almost certainly be funneled into this area as it provided the most extensive port and airport facilities. Which meant that any ships the Gonswanzans sent for the withdrawal would have to traverse the Strait of Juan de Fuca on the way in, and again on the way out.
The Strait was likely guarded, but 'USS Carter' had already circumvented the outer layer of Gonswanzan patrols - not an especially difficult task for one of the most advanced and stealthiest submarines in the world, and with the SLMM, she didn't even have to get close to lay mines in the Strait. And so she parked herself quietly on the seafloor about 10 miles from the mouth of the Strait next to some large mound - likely some rocks or maybe a shipwreck even - that would confuse active sonar returns (she made no sound audible to passive sonar) and make her harder to identify as a submarine.
Then she deployed her mines: 40 Mk 67 Mobile Mines, each of which swam quietly from her tubes and settled in their appointed position on the bottom of the Strait. With 40 mines spread over only 11 miles, there would be no way for a ship to avoid passing within range of at least one of them. The mines were set to target Gonswanzan transport ships and any warships typically used to transport troops or supplies, and were to ignore other warships. This was safe enough, since the current situation in North America meant that there was no friendly or neutral shipping in the area. Each one was fuzed to go off when a certain number of transports had passed overhead, anywhere from 2 to 5. This meant that at least some of the ships would survive the trip into the Strait, when they were empty, only to be destroyed on their way back out, when they would be loaded with troops and equipment.
OOC: Even if you go for Juan de fuca, you still have to deal with a submarine battle

OOC: Uralia and Yitanka are both ex-Soviet states and use ex-Soviet ships. There is very major overlap in the ships we use, and your mines 100% can't see what flag we're flying. My ships would set them off the same as Uralia's ships would.
Also, could you stop godmodding for, like, 5 seconds? You can't control Uralia's ships and say one is approaching, you can't control Gonswanza's ships and handwave avoiding them all. Literally stop. It makes you look like you're not interested in playing a fair game.

The submarines are disguised to look sound like American Seawolf-class boats (the real Seawolves escaped destruction and have been secretly receiving support from Mitheldalond IC), which they can do because of (highly classified / SIC) technology that allows them to simulate the passive sonar signature of other submarines. Basically, anyone looking into either incident (including your and Yitanka's submarines) would see American submarines and American weapons being used in American territorial waters.

It is also becoming increasingly difficult in Groot Dietsland to find a general practitioner for people who are new to this country.
According to HKN (GP organization Kop van Noord-Holland), this problem is less of a problem in Groot Dietsland than elsewhere in the Noordkop. But the Republic of Groot Dietsland thinks otherwise.
From the Palace of Government, press officer Florentine de Maar announces that there is even a threat of a patient stop at general practitioners in the country. “Just like in the rest of the country, we are dealing with too few GPs. For our country, this means that it is very difficult for new residents to register with a general practitioner.
Help
New residents are provided by the country with information about which general practitioners they can approach. “But given the problem, it is difficult to estimate the chance of success. We notice that sometimes it still works, but also regularly not'', acknowledges De Maar.
The advice that Den Helder currently gives to newcomers with a GP question is to be 'perseverant'. Call a number of GPs in your area. And if you urgently need general practitioner care, visit any general practitioner in your area or visit the general practitioner after office hours.
Refugees
In the case of refugees, a separate arrangement applies. This means that there is separate funding for the care providers who provide care to refugees. However, this regulation does not provide that refugees are registered with priority at a general practice.

Amur-class submarine "K-2315" had been assigned on regular patrol of the Bering Strait since the occupation of Alaska.
Orders were to sink any submarine on sight as per a previous internal order.
The Sub was moving quietly at roughly 6 knots, running on battery power, towards the south.
Patrol was uneventful as usual until the sonar operator had detected an initial contact through
passive sonar. A single ping had confirmed the presence of another submarine moving south at
10 Knots. Following direct protocol, Capt. Ivan Vakhromeyev gave the order to load torpedoes
into tubes one and two. The tubes were filled with water in preparation of firing.
"Torpedoes loaded!" yelled one of the crewmen.
The Sub had adjusted course slightly for the torpedoes to make a direct hit into the portside
of this submarine. The Captain knew they were running silently, and for any communication
to be made by this submarine, it would have to surface.
"Fire tube one." Said the Captain.
"FIRE TUBE ONE!" A crewman yelled
The first torpedo was fired, shooting through the icy waters of the Bering strait.
The Captain's watch ticked and ticked as the seconds went by, the crew remained
silent, waiting for the sound of a hit.
A boom sounded from the depths. A hit. The captain waited for any signs
for the enemy submarine to continue operations.
