Background: Having won sixteen Zentraliga titles, there is no doubt that Czujon is one the most historic clubs in Tjorlish football. However, they haven't seen a decade where they have absolutely dominated, with their success spread out every few years. After a title drought in the 2000s, the title finally returned to the Mandlstadion thanks to a talented young core consisted of Edvard Eidsness, Nicholas Westermark, and Lilly Elstad. Now, it's time for new young talents to shine. Most notably, Erich Karjalainen, the strong and solid center-half in the heart of Czujon's defensive line. 19-year old Johan Kalbfleisch looks to be the successor to Westermark's reign in central midfield. Lastly, academy product Martin Breiner is a constant threat in attack. They finally had their breakthrough year last season, edging Asurblau Afoln to their first Zentraliga triumph in over seven years. Will they run it back this season?
This Season's Narrative: With Tjorlish football fans now knowing that Czujon has the quality to challenge for the title once again, can Czujon live up to the expectations and snatch back-to-back titles? There's also been a number of predictions saying Breiner might top the league in assists, as he nearly did in previous seasons. However, he will face intense competition against Afoln's Hans Beringer and Kevin Olssen. As for key matches, the most awaited game(s) of the season involves the Crimson Eleven: the Fjordderby against Konunsfjord 014. With an energetic atmosphere, heated match-ups, and amazing football, this would again most likely be the most-watched game of the season.
Projection: It's not hard to say that Czujon are title-challengers again. The question is, where will they finish? Their title campaign for this season will definitely be harder than last season. The players are definitely hungry to prove that their championship last season, one where fatal errors by Afoln in the final weeks decided the tie, was not a fluke. While they have the quality and the motivation, most pundits predict that they will unfortunately fall short for this season.

Background: Record champions. Decades of domination. The club built on winning. FC Asurblau Afoln has been described with different words and phrases over time, but all of which tell the tale of the Striped Blues' success in Tjorlish football. Fans should never count them out of the hunt in nearly every season. From their five-peat in the late '70s and early '80s to their resurgence in the 2010s, Afoln is no stranger to victory. In recent times, much of their success is due to eagle-eyed scouting and productive youth development. Now, hotshots such as Nikolaj Eriksen, Kevin Olssen, and Stefan Johanssen lead the way for Afoln's future. With two of the past three championships under their belt, can they make it three in four?
This Season's Narrative: After missing out on a potential three-peat last season, Afoln is undoubtably looking to redeem themselves. Relatively young, newly-hired manager Mathias Neuhäusser will also finally get a chance at a top team to prove his coaching ability, as he hasn't been able to manage a good-enough squad in his previous stint with Roshavn SF. As for star forward Eriksen, him missing out on the top scorer's trophy, commonly known as the Skjöldur-Spitzenschützen, was disappointing. As such, that's another potential accolade that he will be chasing this year. Another, the storied rivalry between Afoln and SF Kjol enters another era as Kjol looks to rebound from previous disappointing seasons.
Projection: Afoln is terrifying, they have the potential to continue their dominance at the top for quite some time, and it's no different this year. Czujon are tough opponents and it's definitely not going to be as straightforward as before for Afoln. Nonetheless, with Neuhäusser introducing a more fluid style of attacking play focused on smart passing and creating space, the full capabilities of Afoln's attacking weapons might finally become unlocked. Therefore, most predict a 28th title for FC Sensational.

Background: Throughout Tjorlish football history, Konunsfjord has been a regular fixture on the Zentraliga calendar. While they are definitely one of the most historic clubs in the Tjorlish deomestic scene, it comes as a curiosity that the Yellowjackets have "only" managed seven Zentraliga triumphs, considering the amount of talent that has played for the team. More than a decade after their Zentraliga and Forbundets-Pokal success in the 2000s, Arnold Scherer oversaw a revival of Konunsfjord's title-winning football in the mid-2010s. The defense, led by Harald Giehl and Paul Mathiasen, was rigid while the offense, which was fueled by Eva Wehausen and Hugo Lindberg, was flourishing. Despite unfortunately falling behind Czujon and Afoln once again, the Yellowjackets' experience and perseverance can bring them back to the top of the Zentraliga.
This Season's Narrative: With everyone focused on Czujon versus Afoln, can the Yellowjackets surprise everyone and snatch the trophy? An issue Konunsfjord might face this season, and in the near future, is whatever will happen to Paul Mathiasen. Many think that this might be his last year with the Daffodil Squad, as numerous rumours have floated around saying Mathiasen is very likely to transfer, particularly to Vestrageid FC. With two years left on his contract, Konunsfjord only has a season left before he is a free agent, and they wouldn't want to lose him in exchange for nothing. As for the young midfield, Scherer looks to develop their off-ball play and vision.
Projection: The Yellowjackets are strong, but they might not be strong enough. Tough opponents in Czujon and Afoln block the way and unless striker Artur Paulsen has his best season yet, Konunsfjord may be unable to match the offensive firepower of the squads above. Their defensive resilience may allow them to hang onto the title race longer than expected, but most still expect another third-place finish for Scherer's side.

Background: As the most dominant team to ever come out of the Tjorlish capital, it comes as no surprise that SF Kjol has a long history in the top tier of Tjorlish football. While they have always looked to be within reach of the title in most seasons, they have notably squandered it multiple times. The 21st century hasn't been good to the Tangerines, especially the mid 2010s. Throughout the decade, Kjol has been plagued with poor performances year after year, culminating in a 15th-placed finish in 2015-16, which resulted in Victor Grünberg's sacking as head coach after seven years at the touchline. Despite winning the Forbundets-Pokal in the 2018-19 season, it was clear that something needed to change for the Capital Crew. Soon, Kjol recovered thanks to efforts from manager Michael Tischbein and experienced captain Jan Thomassen. Now, the Tangerines are back in the fight for IFCF qualification.
This Season's Narrative: Despite Kjol's return to the upper echelons of the Zentraliga, the squad is still unlikely to make a title run. However, they are ready to book their spots back in the IFCF Challenger's Cup. Last season, they barely squeaked through after a chaotic final matchday saw Tjusto failing to capitalize on a Kjol draw. This season, the Tangeries look to seal their top four spot again, hopefully through less nerve-wracking moments this time. Starting striker Mariano Simões is in the last year of his contract and there's still seems to be no sign that Kjol will extend it. If he's gone by the end of the season, it may finally make way for his Tecoian compatriot Vicente Aguiar.
Projection: Again, quite unlikely for the Tangerines to push for the title this season but with the squad that they have, not qualifying for any IFCF competition is going to be surprising. While their ceiling is still definitely the championship in surprise circumstances, they are not exactly known to always achieve their absolute best. The offense is good for now, but their defense may have a tough time covering the long-ball, especially on their flanks. At the end of the season, they are most likely going to be around 3rd - 5th.

Background: The Scarlet Ones are known for their class. It's hard to describe, but Tjusto plays with a style that is unique to their club. They have gone through a number of highs and lows, from their golden age in the '50s to their misery in the lower tiers in the '80s. In 1996, the club's fans rejoiced as they made their return to the Zentraliga, where they have stayed ever since. The most recent form of success they have experience was in 2007, when they finally ended a title drought that spanned more than 60 years. Since then, they have been in a state of relative okay-ness. However, it is clear that they are not satisfied with that. The pain of missing out on the trophy was familiar not only to the fanbase, but to the organization itself, and it doesn't want to experience it again. With a moderately successful youth academy, one can only wonder what lies in the Rustics' future.
This Season's Narrative: Tjusto have always teetered between 3rd and 6th since 2016, is this the year they finally change that? Well, probably not. With how the clubs are shaping up so far, it seems as if the Scarlet Ones are more likely to fall down to 7th rather rising up to 2nd. Another, does Martha Sieger finally seal her place as the starting left-back? Despite appearing in the starting eleven numerous times last season, it was still a constant back and forth with Victor Cavaco, a certified Tjusto legend that helped them win the '07-'08 trophy, their first in 62 years. Now that Cavaco is well past his prime and only a couple years away from hanging up the boots, there is no doubt that Sieger is his successor.
Projection: Not much is expected to change with Tjusto compared to last year. Their style of play remains the same but it will also most likely continue to catch out opponents. Phillip Wiedemann's pace on the left and Sigrid Holien's vision on the right gives the Rustics a lot of options when trying to find Matej Scheibel and Manuel Moser in the middle, who are both known to be dangerous with the header. On the defensive side, their full-backs' pace can easily cover any runs on the wings. Tjusto's position between 4th and 7th is hard to predict, especially with Drazieu and Roshavn continuing to be tough competition.

Background: When a team wins the best league in the country only a year after their inception, you know it's a special side. Kaldlakris Drazieu accomplished that. Ever since then, they've had an interesting history to say the least. They have always been known for being unpredictable. The Wolves have never dominated the Zentraliga for a long time, and as such they aren't always bundled in with the teams most consider to be a threat. Thanks to this, Drazieu have always thrived on being underrated, year after year. Not only that, but they do so with a fun playstyle. Despite them being less and less unpredictable these days, their unique brand of football still allows them to surprise most top clubs. They have one of the youngest starting lineups too, showing how good their scouting can be, even if their youth academy hasn't produced as much top talents as they would've liked.
This Season's Narrative: As mentioned probably two or three times by now, the race for IFCF tournament qualification is tough. Six teams all have a legitimate chance of finishing in the top four, and Drazieu is one of those sides. After a pretty heartbreaking end to last season, the Wolves seek to finish higher this year. Despite only being 28, Elisa Karstensen is still the oldest player in the typical starting eleven, and now she is given the captain's armband after Mathias Faber bid farewell from the sport. Up front, Emil Lindbergh returns after a thigh injury kept him sidelined for the last two months of last season, which seriously hurt Drazieu's IFCF qualification chances.
Projection: No matter what happens, Kaldlakris is still Kaldlakris. Combine their chaotic tactics with typical unpredictability, a tight fight between six clubs, a first-year captain, a recovering striker willing to prove he's still on top of his game, and some typical dumb Drazieu luck, and you'll definitely have a hard time pinning them down. Like Tjusto, their position is probably best predicted with a broad range. Realistically, the Wolves are going to finish somewhere between 4th and 6th.

Background: While most fans typically think of Mauschlag as an established Zentraliga side now, back then, not so much. Before the 2000s rolled around, the Red Racers were constantly stuck in the Zekundliga and the Tredjeliga. There were many times when they could've sealed promotion for the first time, yet the opportunities were always wasted. Unfortunately for them, this made them somewhat of a lolcow for quite some time. However, as the millennia changed, so did the Expressionists' luck. In the 1999-00 season, it seemed like Mauschlag got sick and tired of being mocked, since they dominated the Zekundliga. Their status as a lolcow dissipated soon after. Only two years after their promotion, they shocked the Tjorlish footballing world after they won the Forbundets-Pokal. After that win, they've never looked back.
This Season's Narrative: Mauschlag has gradually improved over the years. In th 2010s, they've proved themselves capable of challenging for an IFCF spot. It is no different this time. The Red Racers are also likely to face an issue in midfield and attack pretty soon. With Gabriel Hartmann and Sven Lindgren slowly moving out of their primes, Mauschlag are currently busy trying to find proper replacements. Thankfully, academy products Patrik Anliker and Samira Arnoldi are prepared to succeed the oldest players of the starting eleven. Another question being asked is whether Mauschlag can finally get over the hump and qualify for their first IFCF tournament. If they aspire to do so, then it'll depend on Elisabet Kruse's and Karoline Steinssen's seasons.
Projection: They may be part of the aforementioned six-club squabble, but they are much easier to predict. They aren't as inconsistent as Tjusto or Drazieu, making them less unpredictable. Despite Kruse and Steinssen being two of the best players in the Zentraliga, they will still need quite a bit of help a front. Background: Coming from humble origins in the 1910s, Roshavn SF quickly grew to become a well-respected club. As Roshavn was well known back then for the thriving railroad and mining industry, two nicknames emerged for the squad: the Locomotives and the Cobalts. Almost no other team is well-identified through dedicated symbols as much as Roshavn. As for team success, the Locomotives have been hungry for silverware for quite some time, since their last major trophy came in 1995, when they won the Forbundets-Pokal. Despite successful efforts from the Cobalts to always improve their footballing philosophy, they've always been outpaced by other clubs such as Czujon or Drazieu. Now, they rely on the lethal partnership of Ann-Sofie Hansdottir and Miroslav Schnitzer to bring them closer to glory once again.
This Season's Narrative: Looking only at their final rank last season, one could say that the Locomotives had a pretty meh season overall. On paper, they should be able to finish around 4th or 5th, but in reality they only finished 8th. However, the amount of points they amassed tells a whole different story. They did start strong, hovering around third for most of the season's opening half. Unfortunately, the second half was much more cruel to the Cobalts. A number of last-minute equalizers struck against Roshavn, and they paid a steep price. Due to those dropped points, the Locomotives missed out on a IFCF spot. This year, they won't let that happen again. Will they redeem themselves or will this season be as heart-breaking as the last?
Projection: Good news for Roshavn, many predict them to finish higher this season. Bad news, they'll probably only do so by one position. Unless Tjusto or Drazieu somehow slip up or the Locomotives sign more experienced defenders that may give them that vital push, Roshavn will most likely remain below the two. The Cobalts are likely to finish 7th, just above a Mauschlag side which does not look as good as last year.

Background: As a relatively young club compared to the rest of the Zentraliga, it's interesting to know that they are more successful than most other Tjorlish sides. Most of their success came in the 1970s, the same decade when they emerged as a newly-formed team (although they did so since they were a phoenix club of a strong Ascht Amor club, 1. FC Ascht Amor). They've slowed down since then, but there have been numerous efforts to try and revive the club. They are also well known for a lot of their youth players, who've went on and become legends for many Zentraliga sides (except for their rivals). In recent years, they have found themselves stuck in the midtable. Despite this, talented players like Rosa Margritte and Jackie Lenz may finally get the Sailors back into the IFCF race soon. Former midfield maestro Arthur Bredahl also breathes a new sense of life into the team as a manager in the present.
This Season's Narrative: In the past five to seven years, the Sailors just can't seem to get themselves out of the middle. It's not that they lack talent, they have plenty of that. It's more on how other teams have better players or have more effective tactics. While Margritte and Lenz are good, you can't just simply rely on them if you want to have a great season. The main question is definitely "Is the supporting cast strong enough to help the Sailors win?". Even if Tobias Tetzlaff and Nelson de Sa are decent players, they are still too inexperienced. Current starting left-back Mikael Jorstad looks close to moving away this season, which will most likely lead to a starting role for Dario ter Veen, who still needs improvement on his pace to keep up with faster wingers. Overall, a number of players need to develop quickly and cement their place soon, something that many fans will be keeping their eye on.
Projection: They won't be challenging Roshavn, Mauschlag, or any other team above them for quite some time. This season marks more of a transitionary period for them, rather than a "proper IFCF challenge" period. The main threats to them keeping their hold on 9th place is a volatile Sud-Saalkirch and an emerging Volanger. Even if their season goes better than expected, many still think that they will finish between 9th and 11th.

Background: The Cherries have had an up-and-down history. While they have experienced success since the late 1950s in the form of a Forbundets-Pokal victory, they seesaw'd back-and-forth between the top two tiers of Tjorlish football for a couple of decades. In 1992, they managed to achieve promotion in the final matchday of the Zekundliga. However, they struggled to properly make a name for themselves in the Zentraliga for a number of years. Eventually, thanks to the efforts by the players and coach Adrian Feuerwerker in the early 2000s, Sud-Saalkirch has sealed their place in the Zentraliga, finally maintaining more than a decade of top league football. In the present, Club Frostbite is powered by a relatively young squad compared to most other teams. The only player above 30 is Niko Bole, one who helped Sud-Saalkirch win the Forbundets-Pokal over 16 years ago.
This Season's Narrative: Fans don't have a lot to say for Sud-Saalkirch this season. They aren't good enough to contend yet, but they are not terrible to the point where they have to prove their Zentraliga spot through the relegation battle. This year, it is all going to be about the emergence of Sud-Saalkirch's young stars as the old era nears a close after Niko Bole announced his retirement at the end of this season. 21-year old Jason Hammer is set to be the Cherries' next lethal striker, while Tecoian Ezequiel Guimarães looks to integrate his unique style of play into the rigid Sud-Saalkirch system. As for leadership, most expect the defense to lead the way for Sud-Saalkirch, considering that they have the most shared experience amongst the line-up.
Projection: They have a chance of hitting above their weight, since they are one of the more unpredictable sides this season. If all goes well for the new kids in attack and in midfield, Club Frostbite may strike as high as seventh place. However, if it doesn't go well, they can potentially fall to 11th. To keep their predictions safe, many fans think that Sud-Saalkirch are most likely to finish around 9th or 10th.

Background: While their fall from grace isn't the most tragic in Tjorlish football, it's still quite sad to see where they are right now. They were quite strong in the 1940s, '50s, and '60s, winning the Zentraliga in all of those decades. If they didn't finish first, they finished somewhere in the top five. Their name was up there, along with Czujon, Afoln, and Konunsfjord. However, they slowed down in the '70s. After winning the Forbundets-Pokal at the start of the decade, they experienced a 30-year drought in winning silverware. They did return to putting trophies back in the cabinet, however, after winning the Forbundets-Pokal in 2000. Unusually, the Musicians have a better history in the Forbundets-Pokal than in the Zentraliga. Despite signs of good times in the early 2000s, the Valkyries underwent another multi-decade title drought, this time it lasted 20 years. Last season, they shocked the Tjorlish sporting world after taking the Forbundets-Pokal over Konunsfjord, after dealing a shocking blow to defending champions Asurblau Afoln in the semifinals.
This Season's Narrative: Like the Cherries above them, the Valkyries are a pretty young squad. The difference is, they have already proven what they can do in Tjorl's top football competitions. While they aren't looking to challenge for the title this year, their players have the ability to pursue other accolades. Stefan Laverne is Volanger's primary gunslinger, who has the skills to fight for the Skjöldur-Spitzenschützen (top-scorer trophy) once again. If he does win it, he not only has himself to thank, but passing maestros Marina Nystrand and Melanie Weschler as well. As for the position between the sticks, Fredrik Huseth will have a tough time choosing between Alvari Koponen and Roger Olstad, who are both good enough for the first-team.
Projection: Volanger's final position will depend not only on their performance, but on Sud-Saalkirch and Ascht Amor's season as well. On their own, the Musicians are quite predictable, most likely finishing 11th again. However, with how volatile Sud-Saalkirh can be and how Ascht Amor is undergoing a number of changes, the Valkyries have a chance to finish 8th or 9th.

Background: Vadheim is one of those teams that just love to pop up every once in a while. Ever since their first major trophy in the form of the 1933-34 Zentraliga, the Marooned and their team image have mostly remained the same over the years. They only make minor changes to the logo, their colors are still the iconic maroon and gold, their kit's pattern have not changed a bit, and they continue to be one of the longest tenured teams in the Zentraliga. Despite being in the top tier for a long time, they haven't always had the squad to contend for the title. Most seasons, they have finished somewhere in the upper midtable. However, this changed in the 2003-04 season. Led by a young Kristoffer Adler, Tjorl's most legendary striker who went on to lead a strong Afoln side in the 2000s and 2010s, Vadheim grabbed a surprise championship, something they have been waited seven decades for. Now, they're back in the midtable once again, but they are always trying to make a return back to the very best.
This Season's Narrative: With a kinda-proven squad and reliable tactics, Vadheim fans know what to expect from the Goldenchess Corps this season. In what may be Albert Skarsgard's last season with the Marooned, can he at least lead the team to a higher level? After showing out in the past few seasons, many rumours have since emerged reporting many teams' interest in the talented striker. Most notably, it's Konunsfjord that looks to be the prime destination for the goal poacher looking for a new challenge. However, Arvi Juvonen can still provide the goals the Corps need when Skarsgard is gone. With Leona Wehinger providing the deadly passes from midfield to attack, Juvonen has the support he needs to emerge as Vadheim's trusted goalscorer.
Projection: They are most likely going to lag behind Sud-Saalkirch and Volanger this season. Despite having decent midfield and attacking units, they still seem unmatched for the tough competition they face above. However, there is a lot of confidence that the Marooned is going to finish above Nord-Skarlagen and Tonsvanger for the second season running. Not where they want to be at Skarsgard's departure, but they really can't do a lot to change it.

Background: While the club itself is quite old, it's only had a few years in the Zentraliga. Before the 2000s, the city of Skarlagen was represented in the Zentraliga by the team Skänfors AC, who weren't the most successful. They've only won one title, which was the 1940-41 championship. After a few more decades of mediocre midtable finishes, the club was relegated in 1995. Skarlagen went without a Zentraliga club for eight years, until Nord-Skarlagen got promoted for the first time in 2003. At first, the team struggled as they went up-and-down the Tjorlish footballing pyramid for a few years. However, things changed in 2011. Newly-hired coach Nils Soland promised to make the Foresters a proper Zentraliga club, a goal which he has achieved. In the early 2010s, Nord-Skalagen dangled over the relegation spots. Then, a massive breakthrough. In 2016, Nord-Skarlagen shocked the league when they achieved a fifth place finish. Now, the city of Skarlagen can say that they have a decent Zentraliga team once again.
This Season's Narrative: Nord-Skalagen's line-up seems secure right now, but that can only last for so long. In the near future, they will have to renew many, many contracts if they want the team to stay intact. Most notably, Edvin Sobolewski looks like he might already be considering options when his contract expires by the end of this season. Fortunately for Sobolewski and unfortunately for Nord-Skarlagen, many teams are interested in the midfielder. Now, their main priority is simply convincing the core that they have currently to stay, to hopefully continue whatever they are doing right. However, with how the team has been stuck in lower midtable the past few years, this might turn into something of a problem for the Foresters.
Projection: Despite the line-up slowly showing signs of cracking, it still a squad that can lead the Bowlers into just above that relegation danger zone. For Nord-Skarlagen, they rely more on their defense than they do on their offense. Their style of "anti-football" may not be the most entertaining for the fans in the stadium or on the couches, but it does work, and if something is working, you don't fix it. Most likely, another low midtable finish for the Foresters, around 12th to 14th.

Background: Like Nord-Skarlagen, the Raiders haven't had much of a successful Zentraliga history. However, they have been in the top league for about four decades longer. While they aren't one of those really prestigious clubs, they aren't one of the many Tjorlish clubs that have won something in the past, but has since fallen into the lower leagues. They're a club that is yet to win anything and is just... there. Right now, they have a reputation of being a feeder club for bigger teams in the Zentraliga. The Pines have a dadgum-good academy system, and the other teams know it too. Many of Tjorl's greatest players have had a history of either going through the Tonsvanger academy or making a name for themselves for the Raiders. In the present, many prodigies such as Anton Osberg, Lise-Solvej Stepinac, and Adrien Tafelski are lining up to be the next big thing for Tonsvanger, and possibly the rest of the Zentraliga.
This Season's Narrative: Tonsvanger may be dangling a bit too close to the relegation zone for their liking, but they are quite confident that they will survive, due to how the clubs below them might screw up somewhat. As mentioned, Osberg and Stepinac are potential superstars in the future, but they'll have to properly prove themselves first in the starting line-up. Osberg is a pretty good defender, although his pace and his attacking sense does need a bit of work. As for Stepinac, she is very dangerous on the long-ball, but her dribbling will need some improvement. However, they have shown that they improve very quickly, so a lot of fingers are crossed hoping that they can finally emerge as Tonsvanger's leading players.

Season II Projection: Stuck in the Middle
Background: If there's any club that knows the definition of "misery" more than anything, it's probably Drueberg. Even the eagle on their badge looks upset. Whether it's missing out on the title on the last day in 1998 or the club's first relegation in five decades in 2009, the Eagles have undeniably gone through a lot. That feeling of misery has died down a bit over the last few years due to some stable years in the Zentaliga, but now they are looking awfully close in re-experiencing it. However, with Erwin Steuri ready to power Drueberg through, Team Turquoise may be able to keep themselves from falling into the relegation zone. Another new face has just arrived to help Drueberg: David Boler, an experienced manager that has been at the helm at some of Tjorlish football's most unbelievable promotion stories, such as Flinthavn FK's in 2014 and 1. FC Dübenborn's in 2018.
This Season's Narrative: It's very clear what the Eagles' biggest priority is for this season. It's to not fall into the Zekundliga. At the very least, don't fall in 17th or 18th. While 16th is still in the relegation danger zone, whoever finishes in 16th has a chance to redeem themselves over two legs against the third-placed squad of the Zekundliga. Of course, the Eagles want to avoid that to begin with. As for personnel storylines, one of the more interesting Drueberg tales to follow this season is Oskar Werich's potential return to the first team. In the last two seasons, Werich suffered a number of leg injuries that kept him sidelined for most of both years. This season, he'll most likely come off the bench more. However, he is looking fine and dandy to prove his name again in the starting eleven.
Projection: Unfortunately for the Eagles, escaping the relegation zone is easier said than done. With Vestrageid hot on their heels this season, Team Turquoise could buckle under the pressure once again. Despite this, a good season from Steuri and Hansreudi Bredahl is a big help to Drueberg's survival chances. Most likely, they'll finish between 15th and 17th. 1.FC Norrehavn might have a tough time overtaking them, but it's not impossible.

Season II Projection: Relegation Battle
Background: Vestrageid is a tough, tough team to knock down. After their legendary first Zentraliga title in the 1917-18 season, the Scholars have remained in the top flight for more than a century, winning a few more championships along the way. The most famous of these championships is their 2013-14 title, which they snatched under the noses of Czujon and Afoln. Only a few years after that, they're back in the relegation battle. However, they've somehow always escaped to fight another season in the Zentraliga. The closest they have come to falling into the Zekundliga was when they participated in the relegation playoff in 2018. Now, they are close to getting out of the relegation battle, thanks to players such as Marius Vidak and Rosalia Cerqueira. Another, they can definitely rely on their youth academy to produce more talents capable of bringing the Scholars back into where they should be.
This Season's Narrative: The Gilded Gang seem to be cooking up something all summer, and their fans are excited to witness it. After a few seasons of bringing numerous Tredjeliga teams to promotion in the Zekundliga, Markus Dragić finally has his talents recognized by an established Zentraliga side, and he won't wait long to prove his chance. Already, the Scholars have shown what they can accomplish in a number of friendlies. Despite this, many still doubt the capabilities of Dragić's team. Lots of questions regarding how Lucas Teichmüller and Joshua Schuerer will fit into the line-up have been asked, but Dragić has assured time and time again that they are ready to become certified Vestrageid starters.
Projection: Vestrageid's fans have a right to be excited. If everything clicks for Vestrageid, they can jump a few positions this season. Combine that, along with Tonsvanger and Drueberg's numerous problems, then this is the season for the Scholars to overtake them. Like previous years, Marius Vidak is ready to provide around 10-15 league goals for the Gilded Gang, although he might get fewer goals and more assists now that he has Joshua Schuerer at his side up front. Many predict them to finish betwen 14th and 17th

Season II Projection: Relegation Battle
Background: With how Norrehavn has played throughout their history, many have described them as a "less successful Drazieu". A lot of this is connected to their team image. Their logo looks clean, their kits always look cool and fresh, and the way they play is fun to watch. However, one thing isn't fun about Norrehavn's history. For the past few decades, they've bobbled up and down between the top two leagues. This goes for the 2010s too. For the first half of the decade, the Raspberries alternated between Zentraliga and Zekundliga. In the 2016-17 season, they managed to not fall back into the second tier, and they've stayed in the Zentraliga ever since. However, they have come too close to being relegated again. Experienced center-half Valentin Wylenmann and winger Mikael Steffensen lead the way for the Pink Polos at the start of the 2020s.
This Season's Narrative: The Raspberries have a clear target this season: don't get relegated. Last season, they caught a lucky break after Vohlinn SF went on a slump that caused them to fall back into the Zekundliga. Now, they'll have to fully rely on how they perform. Both Vestrageid and Creuzbrück look like teams good-enough to not get demoted, so it's up to Norrehavn to catch up. After having his breakthrough year last season, midfielder Tobi Krzanowski looks to continue to produce for the Raspberries. Fans are also watching how far can Manu Andréasson take the Pink Polos in domestic competitions this season, as there are many rumours saying that there's a large chance that Andréasson gets sacked this year, if Norrehavn keeps on suffering with bad results.
Projection: As said earlier, the relegation battle will be quite close. Thankfully for the Raspberries, they have the players to win out in the battle. Along with the emerging Krzanowski is Zakarias Stadler, a defensive-minded midfielder that you can rely on when the opponent goes on the counterattack. Up front is Hubert Skulason. Not the most lethal goal poacher out there but his versatility serves as a vital tool for Norrehavn. Most fans think that they are going to place somewhere between 15th and 18th.

Season II Projection: Relegation Battle
Background: Much like Norrehavn, Creuzbrück has been known as one of the yo-yo clubs throughout Tjorlish football history. It wasn't always like this, however. Success came early in Creuzbrück's history in the form of a Zentraliga at the start of the 1940s. Back then, they were in a fierce rivalry with FK Sieger Creuzbrück, who won a title a decade earlier. With Ternet's shiny new title, the power shifted from one side of the River Isafvogur to the other. Three decades after their first major trophy, Creuzbrück won the Forbundets-Pokal in '70s and '80s. Since then, the Canaries have experienced a ton of trouble in finding the success they once had. They started moving up and down the Tjorlish football pyramid. It's none too different this year. After yet another dominant season in the Zekundliga, they have returned to the Zentraliga. Can they at least slow down this cycle, if they can't stop it completely right now?
This Season's Narrative: As the newly-promoted club on the Zentraliga block, how can Creuzbrück prevent another season of demotion? Unlike previous seaasons, the time is just right for Creuzbrück to survive in the Zentraliga for at least two consecutive seasons. Not the most impressive of goals, but one has to start somewhere. The Canaries' players themselves aren't the best the Tjorlish top league has to offer, but it's their team spirit that is most likely able to get them through this year. Tecoian manager Peter Lopes' abrupt style of rapidly playing on the counterattack and high pressing suits the Yellowtunics very well. However, this will cause a number of issues in defense. Even at age 34, Creuzbrück's defensive line has a huge dependence on Nils Theiler and many wonder how far can he keep up with the much faster offensive firepower of stronger Zentraliga sides.
Projection: Creuzbrück is desperate for a second-straight season in the Zentraliga, but most think it is quite unlikely to happen, at least for now. As said before, the Canaries' issues in defense will have to be solved first before they can win the already-tight relegation battle. However, since their offense gives them a bit of hope, many still think that they can finish above 17th. The most likely scenario is that they'll finish 16th - 18th.
