That's it, I'm not going to post in this thread indefinitely, because of you all.

But before I go, please heed my words:

OK, going with the assumption that the above jumble is just a thread gone wrong, and that Arpasia is still the nation to judge:

The stickman alone takes 5/10 points off.
The shadow of the helicopter is not an improvement either.
And even if you´d take away all that, you´d still have one colour too many. Less really is more.

Go with the bull on shield symbol in the middle.
Then pick one colour for the verticle bands left and right: and remember that red and yellow are options. Orange would be a good option too.

Sorry, but with all constructive intentions of the world: this flag is just cluttered and overcomplicated. Be like Coco Chanel and start taking stuff and colours off to bring out its essence.

Simple, clean, well-balanced.
If serenity is what you are going for: well done.
Personally, I don´t know that this is an emblem that people fight and die for. Removing the yin-yang figure and centralising the vertical bands might help to achieve that...

I appreciate that it pays homage to the Estonian element of your nation´s name, but similarly, you could remove the vertical bands and centralise the yin-yang figure.

I take that back. Having a second look at it, it seems that the Estonial verticals lend the flag some perspective. It´s very, very cleverly composed.

In all: a solid 7.5/10 - with the potential for two much higher rankings.

Having no suggestion for improvement to offer, I can only suggest 10/10.

I really like the simplistic black and yellow on the other side, but I'd like to see more shape variety, maybe some symbols or objects? The image of a nuclear explosion is not exactly very easy to replicate or as symbolic as other choices.

I think the lines on the left are kind of... garish and make a weird contast between the white and blue? But overall, 9/10.

It's a Nordic cross, altered Iceland flag. If I was rating creativity it would be very low bt since I rate the look of a flag I give it 10/10 because colors just fit so right with each other. Amazing shades, works well with a design... It's perfect, clean and noticable from far away. Good job

[Aumbura]

I like the chevron and the stars, as well as the hammer and sickel, but the pink is just too bright for me, and in my opinion, it doesn't go well with the white and the black. 5/10. Your nation itself, however, I love.

AN: I like the idea, and the maroon/blue/wreath is great, it just gives me the feeling that the symbol in the middle is supposed to be something, and without my glasses, it just looks like a blob. Also, no ripple. 8/10.

The flag is really good. Nice color palette, neat design, and easily recognizable. 10/10

[Yitanka]

7 8/10. The yellow on light blue is a bit hard on the eyes (though that may be just me),and 1 point deducted for not including indigo in the rainbow!

Edit: Upon further deliberation, I've decided to see the light blue base as "blue" and the dark blue strip as "indigo" and will thus return the formerly lost point.

[New San Andreas Republic]

Unfortunately, while the flag itself looks alright on its merits, I have seen many communist-style flags in my time on NationStates and this one sort of fails to distinguish itself among the crowd. This could easily be the flag of any communist nation, there's nothing distinctly 'Yitanka' about it. So while the flag looks alright, points are deducted for it being a bit boring.

Overall, 5/10.

I told to my forneds how much I love California flag and it's uniqueness and I praised various RL flags in the style of California so, I have to give it 10

[Orlesian States]

I like Equai's flag quite a lot. It's detailed, but in a minimalistic way, it doesn't need lots of symbols or patterns on it to be effective. The colors are nice, the stars on the left are a good touch, and it's symmetrical. I love symmetry.

I think it is quite artful with the animal (no idea what it is) and the horses, and the choices of the colors is ok.

However dozens of flags use crosses and trying to draw these animals by hand is a nightmare.

[Frisemark]

It's essentially a recolored and edited flag of Kiribati. Though Kiribati has a nice flag, I feel as thought the lack of originality just...doesn't fit, I guess? The floating paper boat-hat adds little to the design, in my opinion.

It's not terrible, it's not the greatest thing ever, but it's certainly passable. 6.7/10, I think.

[New San Andreas Republic]

As a fellow appreciator of light blue and white, I can say I enjoy the color scheme employed by Frisemark's flag. Furthermore, it does a very good job of looking clesrly European which shows its inspirations while not being too unoriginal. My only slight issue is the complexity of the coat of arms, which can be slightly hard to make out at a distance.

Despite having a nice color harmony, the rose's shape and size don't quite appeal to my eyes. I'd prefer it to be smaller and maybe have it's main branch.

I'll ignore the anime girl on it since I assume that isnt on the flag if it were, say, on a flag pole.
That in mind, this looks good. The bird (while not an entirely original or inspired animal choice) looks well drawn and interestingly posed, and I like the blue shade used. The waves of orange meanwhile contrast interestingly against the black in a way I havent seen too often.

I like the color scheme as well as the animals on display, however it reminds me more of a state flag than a sovereign country's flag, and I don't love the text. 6/10

It's pretty good. I feel like it's a bit too wide as it is, and I think that the elements in the middle are a bit too small. This might just be a me thing, but looking at it from a distance (i.e in a small forum thumbnail) the laurel kind of looks like words wrapped around the rose which can make it a bit confusing to look at. Otherwise though, solid flag. 7.5/10
