Big changes coming for SWEN in Domestics?
source: www.swensport.swe

SWEN - Domestically the sport of football could see another upheavel. Southwest Eastnorth's governing body for domestic football the SWENFA has already been dealing with all sorts of weird issues in the three years it has been an IFCF member. First came the international player revolution, then the issues cropped up with semi-pro teams wanting their say in domestic football. That issue still hasn't been fully resolved yet and may not for a while. But now recent comments by former MVP Garrett Stronginthearm have the SWENFA and Directional Premier League up in arms as they may have started an exodus.

Stronginthearm's biggest comments came when he mentioned that he felt his play warrant an inclusion in the Nepharan national team. the 29 year old who was signed from Ingram Township has been a wonderkid of sorts for the Southwest Rangers since coming over from the fourth tier Nepharan side. But it's clear he wants to move on. SW Rangers had to deal with a lot during this season and finished fourth, but lagged behind the other three significantly, but their roster held up enough to prevent an injury bug and Stronginthearms comments and like of will to tank the team.

The other big news Item was "New Baltimore City, and the fire sale of Ripken River AA. Xannerian group Alexandria City bought the team. The team after the sale went through a lot of changes, The Roth's both had left, with Father Roth now focusing on construction and Jessica in Quebec, the team looked to move on and managed to take their patchwork team to a surprisingly decent 8th place. WHich actually was the highest finishing result they've had in three years.

Meanwhile the Awards went as followed.

Transfers pre-season 38

Out of the 1./:

Diana Clementi (attacking midfield): Neume College -> Raven River
Fayaz Nayar-Lehri (center back): Brench -> Cordasfjord FC
Pierick Tausend (defensive midfield): Stiglex University -> Old Boys Club

And now, the leadership changes! Such as they are.

Matchday One

Rovers United are...erratic. Last season, they won the FFI Confederations Trophy, which isn't necessarily saying all that much, but came seventh in the regular season and didn't earn an IFCF spot. However, Namiri Independent are reliably pants. And it was that level of pantsitude that allowed the Rovers to surge to an opening day lead. Quincy Dulk-Fough started things off with a hat trick, while Rowan Singh, Paavo Loris, and Clark Eurca-Shen also got on the scoreboard. Vasant Pawar scored the only goal for the nominal "visitors" to Kerlagrad.

Matchday Two

Namiri Forest started the season by winning at home against 102d; they then travelled to visit 102d's archrivals, and continued their form in fine style, with Sakina Keshavan-Kaur's goal all they would need in Bassabook. As for the Rovers, they struggled against Sporting Esper. The Big Lad, Jeremiah McHoughton, scored a thunderous goal eighteen minutes in, and Keith Gray-Stroop added on ten minutes later. After the half, Dulk-Fough chipped one past Lliot Celarte, but Rafe Muir-Ingor restored the Robins' two-goal margin.

Matchday Three

Forest go home to face Independent, who, we have established, are pants. The quondam Champions League winners (I once read a book about RLStates football that really overused the word "quondam," so we're going with that) proceeded to park the bus and get shut out by their cross-district rivals, to general displeasure.

Bassabook, coming off their defeat to Forest, travel to the northwest to visit the Bug House. Shlomo Eustace scores two minutes in. And then things kind of collapse.

By the ten-minute mark, Twineur led thanks to goals from Grover Kain-Harner and Eric Motley-Kashone. By the half-hour mark, Allison Vasil-Irtch and Julio McBailey had added on. We should note that, in the absence of Dale Hartford-Phelps, they are now stewarded by Sylvie Quarl, who has a more hands-off approach to substitutions and prefers to let her players work through their struggles on their own.

James Fauxbordon pulled one back for Bassabook before the half was out, so it was only 4-2, even if momentum-wise it felt worse. After the half, the Bugs would leave no doubt, with a flurry of goals from Jonathan McAvery, Motley-Kashone off the restart, and Vasil-Irtch again four minutes later. Bassabook quickly responded with a Gail Niekro-Nolan shot, but at 7-3, you didn't have to be Hartford-Phelps to consider playing the kids. (For the record, Bassabook's current manager is Jens MacGroom, who is also, surprisingly, not Dale Hartford-Phelps.)

Matchday Six

The Bugs visit Marsey, home of the "narrow road," to take on the Rovers. Once again, it's Dulk-Fough who lifts the curtain, scoring on a pass from Nikolaj Gehn-Miller. Shirley Bao sets up Loris fifteen minutes later. Twineur rally back via Kain-Harner, but an encore performance from Dulk-Fough seals the victory.

Meanwhile, Forest's visit to Cham provides a showcase for several national team stars. Twenty-two minutes in, Nilkanth Mibang assists Farrokh Sokhi for the visitors' opener. But in minute fifty-one, a dynamic back-and-forth between Kayla Haugen and Nancy Puyo-Sachar in the host midfield culminates in a Haugen goal. Forest can't complain too much, because the draw means they go top, but Kausalya Vizirani and Meghna Imomenba will need to compare notes after the match because that was, um, the first goal Forest have conceded all season. This team, man.

Matchday Eleven

Through the first nine matchdays, Forest were undefeated and Excelsior Slogda had lost all nine of their matches. So, naturally, when the league's two most defensive sides faced each other, five goals ensued, three of which came from visiting Slogda. Forest, however, stayed top on tiebreakers, with Cham, Canbix, and Twineur close behind.

Emboldened by their success, Slogda returned home to take on the Bugs. And...promptly reverted to their early-season form, going down two-nil thanks to Dylan Vear-Schul and newcomer Janine Duron-Helzan (Quarl really likes those hyphenated names). An Olena Serpilor own goal completed the implosion for Alaisti.

Forest continue to defend like they're fighting on two fronts, which given their international schedule they probably are, but we can't be bothered to do a whole calendar thing this time. At any rate, the first goal from Hilde Clages and FTC United caught first-team regular Imomenba out of position. The visitors to the west side rallied through Reenat Gambhir and Senbi Kuriakose, but after the break, Avril Ferel-Bonneau equalized for the Oxen and Kessarin Ratanarat put them ahead. Sokhi would eventually tap in a long Debasis Garg pass to give Forest a half-point, but they've conceded six goals in two league games and look tired.

Matchday Thirteen

The Canbix Muses and Twineur Bugs are friendly rivals, who share a love of fast-paced play and look down upon stalling. While Twineur led as of two weeks ago, the Muses were close behind. And this week saw them face off in Groth Park, with league leadership at stake. A draw might continue the tense tiebreaker-watching; a win could establish new momentum.

As you've probably inferred from the fact that this is a leadership changes writeup, the Muses won decisively to pull ahead. Einvarður Adamsson's side is strongest at back, with Helen Pimbura making it look easy in goal and Simon Gannett adding some size to an otherwise diminutive if combative defense. Canbix-Twineur games will always feature a lot of running and racking up the kilometers, with individual dribbling, but neither midfield was able to control the match. In the second half, however, Kyrie Tsomou scored to open the Bugs' tally. In minute 77, a rare foul from the energetic Aimee Ginoud-Sachs in Twineur's midfield gave Canbix a penalty, which Emily Kuiper slotted past Ryne Sheneth-Calvert to double the scoreline. Canbix now sit a full point ahead, though there's lots of football to be played.

And then...

Matchday Twenty-Five

Forest and Twineur entered the week tied for second. The Bugs headed down to Spenson, who were fifteenth, while Forest were home in search of vengeance against the Slogda side that stunned them in the first half.

When McAvery scored in the thirteenth minute for the Bugs, it seemed like some semblance of normalcy would hold. So then, Luo Chuan equalized for Spenson. And down in Guariday, Reuven Goodilin and Vyacheslav Zuev-Satz scored to blank Forest. I mean, a shutout is somewhat more normal for these two sides than 3-2, but still!

And this meant that Potz Gambor's goal against the Rovers was enough for Canbix to clinch the title, with five games remaining. It's been that kind of a second half for the Muses, who are happy to emulate Forest when it comes to minimalistic wins. Their two losses to date have come to local rivals Keppal, on Matchday Two, and on Matchday Fifteen against...um, Slogda again, actually. But with their youth team, and/or whichever local high school we rounded up, off to great things in the Rising Stars Cup, the future looks bright indeed.

Matchday Thirty

By the end of the penultimate week, the four remaining IFCF places had been clinched; what remained to be decided was which order they'd take, and the other contenders entered this week in something of a logjam. But ultimately, the seeding didn't actually change. The Bugs, in fourth, played out a messy back-and-forth with Ephesian. Yang Tao's opening goal for the visitors was answered swiftly by Motley-Kashone. Vear-Schul scored to give hosts Twineur the lead, but Quinten Fryx equalized for Ephesian, and Jordan Watson sat up Lukas Helsen-Roan for the winner.

Trebuchet Cham, in third, rallied from a Valerie Waugh opener to defeat 102d, with Gabriel Lapierre and Wolfgang Tzwyvel getting on the scoreboard. And Namiri Forest, in second, jumped out to an early lead at home against Arlington, thanks to Ganesh Pandey. Meldi'ita Mungwaii--who else?--equalized for the hosts, before Seth Ojah and Anjalai Ruia-Sen put the game out of reach.

The surprise is not that Forest are, once again, runners-up; Bhakti Kapoor's side, while it might be exhausted from fighting on multiple fronts, is deep and resolute. However, Arlington's fifth-place finish is a bit of an eye-catcher. They were twelfth two seasons ago after Laura Petrell's departure; last season, they led the table as late as Matchday Thirteen only to finish ninth. And now they're back on the fringes of the IFCF. Who knows.

Cereal Cup

First Round

Canbix Muses 1–0 Arlington City
Namiri Forest 0–2 Ephesian FC
Trebuchet Cham 1–2 Keppal Cosmos
Twineur Bugs 2–0 Sporting Esper
Eintracht Trink 1–1 Excelsior Slogda
FTC United 4–0 Bassabook Old Boys
Rovers United 4–0 Spenson Suburbia
102d Jr.s 1–0 Namiri Independent

Two big wins set up a battle of the Uniteds. On the east side, the Oxen thwap the Old Boys, with a brace from Sayan Manophet bracketing goals from Herta Rieth-Pohl and Michael Voss-Nebe. While Bassabook never really mounted an attack, credit is still due to the duo of Catarina Malmquist and Pia Leykauf at the back. Meanwhile, in Kedzy, goals from Rowan Singh, Shirley Bao, Nikolaj Gehn-Miller, and Bev Greensboro saw the Rovers past Spenson.

Second Round

FTC United 0–1 Rovers United
Ephesian FC 0–1 Twineur Bugs
Canbix Muses 2–1 102d Jr.s
Keppal Cosmos 1–3 Eintracht Trink
Excelsior Slogda 0–1 Trebuchet Cham
Arlington City 1–0 Namiri Independent
Sporting Esper 0–0 Namiri Forest
Bassabook Old Boys 2–2 Spenson Suburbia

After all that goalscoring the first round, defense reigns as a Quincy Dulk-Fough goal is all the Rovers need to defeat FTC United. Speed-minded Twineur and Canbix are also perfect, with a goal from Grover Kain-Harner disposing of Ephesian. Helen Pimbura and Fedya Troy-Vee put on a scintillating goalkeeping duel in the first half, but Saebyeok Sisinis scored to open the second half for the Muses, and 102d's defense had not fully regrouped by the time Devin O'Shea made it 2-0. Valerie Waugh would eventually pull one back for the visitors.

Third Round

Rovers United 3–4 Twineur Bugs
Eintracht Trink 1–2 Canbix Muses
Ephesian FC 1–2 FTC United
Trebuchet Cham 1–0 102d Jr.s
Arlington City 1–0 Keppal Cosmos
Namiri Forest 0–0 Excelsior Slogda
Sporting Esper 0–1 Bassabook Old Boys
Spenson Suburbia 2–1 Namiri Independent

The Eagles' Club played host to a wild match that was, for most of the game, not as close as it looked. During the first half, goals from Eric Motley-Kashone and Janine Duron-Helzan gave the visiting Bugs a 2-0 lead. About halfway through the second half, Singh scored to put the Rovers on the board; Twineur responded decisively with goals from Allison Vasil-Irtch and, in the eighty-fifth minute, Jonathan McAvery. At 4-1, a Twineur victory seemed assured--but the Rovers have seen worse, and Gehn-Miller scored on the restart. Two minutes into stoppage time, a Greensboro pass found Dulk-Fough to make it 4-3, and the referee allowed several more minutes...but the Rovers could not take advantage, and Twineur held on.

The Muses continue to make it look easy (schedule-wise this would probably be in the middle of the second half when they were running away with the league), with an Emily Kuiper goal lifting them to an early lead in Trink. Shinji Hoshino equalized for Nebenstimme, but Sisinis quickly responded to restore their lead. This sets up an eagerly-anticipated final between Twineur and Canbix; no time-wasters allowed.

It really doesn't matter, but it is pretty funny that after Slogda beat Forest twice during the regular season, Forest finally shut them out.

Fourth Round

Twineur Bugs 0–0 Canbix Muses
FTC United 3–3 Trebuchet Cham
Rovers United 2–1 Arlington City
Bassabook Old Boys 2–3 Eintracht Trink
Spenson Suburbia 0–1 Ephesian FC
102d Jr.s 1–0 Excelsior Slogda
Keppal Cosmos 2–3 Namiri Forest
Namiri Independent 4–0 Sporting Esper

The Bugs-Muses encounter was perhaps not the kind of match you'd show to your friends to convince them that no, actually, football is an interesting sport. But for those who can appreciate such things, there were a lot of dynamic tackles and appropriately speedy play. Twineur hold on to win on tiebreakers and deny Canbix the double.

If you took your time getting your muffins on the east side, you missed the beginnings of a goalfest. The Oxen got off to a fast start via Kessarin Ratanarat, the Cabbas equalized through Kayla Haugen, and Manophet quickly scored again for FTC United. By the half-hour mark, Voss-Nebe and Nancy Puyo-Sachar had also scored. It would be hard for any second half to top that, and while the Leykauf-Malmquist axis tried to get things under control, Gabriel Lapierre's goal in minute 71 equalized for Cham and the match finished three-all.

Meanwhile in Belpub, the Rovers took on their old MUFN frenemies. Junia McCue, who does not seem to have crumbled after missing an important penalty in the Eagles' Cup, set up Felicity Ephatha in minute 22. But Bao and Dulk-Fough would pull the Rovers back on top, which was enough for them to clinch a VCI slot.

Yes, we continue to do the thing where we switch up the style mods a bit every time because the college teams don't have consistent identities like the pros. Why do we do this? Is this a good use of time? It is not. But as long as we do it, we need to tell you that we're doing it.

Also, John Boomhower is a mensch from Brench and we're going to try to find a place from him, even if Pyazhnaya aren't world-beaters.

Season 1987

The long awaited arrival of the Druid Cup has come at last and boy did it deliver a handful of surprises, included third tier RC Ropper defeating not just Tiranyus FC at home in the quarterfinals, but then defeating Likewell Kirk at Skyhaven Citadel in the semifinal round to advance to the Final itself. However in the House of Blades in the Final, Skyhaven FC put to bed any hopes of the miracle run ending with a trophy by thoroughly displaying the difference in skill and winning the inaugural Druid Cup. While they might have been upset in the cup, Likewell Kirk ran rampant through the league for a third straight season, although this season saw Oceanic United pop up out of nowhere to challenge the Blades for a long portion of the season before tapering off during the latter stages of the season while Likewell Kirk continued to motor on through to a third successive title. The AOCL has been kind to the Blades when they have entered but the competition is stiff and continuing to get out of the first round may be a problem sooner rather than later, as teams from other leagues have more bodies and more money to through at international competition than even the one big club in Demot does.

Season 19

Audioslavian domestic football returns with a new, stream-lined look. Down from 15 teams to 13 and played over 34 matchdays rather than 38, it begins and ends as confusingly as ever, with a staggered start and, as usual, a staggering finish.

Audioslavia (AUD) Qualifiers:
IFCF Champions League: 1830 Cathair, Cazadores Cathair, AC Izotz Zubia, KT Moreazerua
IFCF Challengers Cup: Shamrock Cathair, KT Itzalovalle, KT Ferramendiak
If it's not a ballache, please do not enter any Audioslavian youth teams into the Rising Stars Cup

CAFA LigAnaia: 1830 Cathair, KT Itzalovalle
VCIAPP: Osarese Marcadia

Audioslavia (AUD) Final Site bid
Competition: IFCF Challengers Cup final
Stadium: Burdina Jauregia (Ferramendiak, Audioslavia)
Capacity: 85,000

The Burdina Jauregia, or Iron Palace in the local dialect, was finished just a few months before World Cup 75 and was used to host the opening match of the tournament as well as the fourth quarter-final, in which Audioslavia put five goals past Electrum.

The outer structure uses, as the name suggests, quite a lot of iron, if only for visual effect, and more modern materials are used the higher up the stadium you go. The ground's most noticeable feature is the criss-cross iron pattern over the roof, giving it the feel of an oversized implement from one of the Saw films when viewed from far away. Over time, the stadium has been allowed to rust in the same way a film star looks dishevelled on screen: very meticulously. Either way, KT Ferramendiak's stadium has a bit of a rustic aesthetic these days.

Inside, the pitch is large and surrounded on all sides by two tiered stands that rise up to the aforementioned grid. The seats, numerous and fairly luxurious as far as stadia go, are painted white in the colours of tenants KT Ferramendiak, who moved into the stadium at the end of World Cup 75.

First Half
Second Half

Pasarga (PAS) Qualifiers:

IFCF Champions League: Club Stein-los, Hellinic Rouge, Stein-los Turkish
IFCF Challengers Cup: Tanrısal, CA Paulinthal, Galatica
IFCF Liga B Champions Trophy: Mytos-Turin, Torgos City, SC Troubalose
IFCF Risings Stars Cup: Tanrısal

CdC: Club Stein-los
IFCF Cup Winners' Cup: CA Paulinthal
VCIAPP: Baskita FC

Pasarga (PAS) Final Site Bids
Challengers' Cup: Stadium of the Moon, Lunas (Capacity: 84,000)

Lunas is the de facto capital on Peynol, the largest city on the second island, as well as the one with the most wealth. It suffers from dreadfully cool temperatures compared to the rest of the nation due to its location out on the peninsula. This has hardened the citizens who live in Lunas, who call themselves the "Kings of the Strait", with the Alban Strait to their north. There is also a great devotion to the moon in Lunas, as the largest of the stadium suggests, with crescents found in various art forms across the city. There is a very spiritual feel in Lunas and football itself is something of a ritual, with the walk from the "Stalking Dragon", the largest pub, to the stadium every weekend there is a match. Visitors are encouraged to partake in these rituals or at least be respectful of them.

Cup Winners' Cup: Kilmonarch, Stein-los (Capacity: 72,000)
Stein-los welcomes any and all travelers to its borders with open arms. Long since believed to be the footballing capital of the nation, usurping the title from both Torgos and Targas, the chance to host the Cup Winners' Cup has the Stein-losians ecstatic. Kilmonarch, the best of which Stein-los has to offer, is a stadium built with all the latest amenities meant to attract IFCF final bids that never really formulated until now. All the same, this football crazy city is ready to put on a show if they are awarded the Final.

Procedural Note: The Vilitan Cove Invitational Committee noted that an errand runner found an envelope marked "Vilitan Cove Invitational" in a gutter a few blocks away. It was postmarked in Sajnur, and they figured we might want it. They waited and waited and waited for word from The Quagpire, but such word never came. Any other associations applying for an invitation whose applications were sent by drunk Cocoabo, turned into interstellar dust , lost in a high-stakes Nationstates Trading Card game or otherwise not received were not extended an invitation to compete. Arlington City
was extended an invitation as defending champions per the competition charter.

The Vilitan Cove Invitational is an International Club Competition. Designed to allow clubs who have not already qualified for a major international club competition (UICA; IFCF; Cup Winners Cup) a chance to compete on the international stage. The Invitational is designed as a Fair Play competition, however an association may set any sporting criteria by which to determine which team will be permitted to apply to the competition. The Vilitan Cove Invitational Committee reserves the right to change the competition entry criteria at any point.

Not all applicants are guaranteed invitation into the competition, particularly in the event more than 31 associations apply for consideration.

The format of the competition is a Fixed Bracket Knockout with minor re-seeding during rounds which have byes. All pairings prior to the Semi-Final stage will be two-legged home and away aggregate knockout rounds.

The "Away Goals" rule will not apply. Any match which is level on aggregate at the conclusion of full time during the second leg will immediately proceed to an extra time period. There will be no silver or golden goal scenario, and a full 30 minute extra time period would be contested. If the scores are still level, a penalty shootout will be employed to determine which team advances.

Semi-Final and Final stages will each be a single knockout match at a selected location in the Vilitan Cove region.

With exactly 32 clubs competing the format would be a straight seeded knockout bracket with no byes. Arlington City of Zwangzug would look to make it back-to-back titles for the checkered nation but would instead fall to eventual champion Lunas FC of Pasarga. Lunas become the third Pasargan club to win the Vilitan Cove Invitational after a penalty shootout victory over the Chromatik Anomalies and the Federation have placed on the VCI Podium the past three seasons. For Chromatika it is the federations second Vilitan Cove Invitational Final defeat with Urrheddiao having previously been defeated in the 11th VCI Final by Strathcona Internationals of Kelssek.

The rules for application to the VCI, which should be adhered to by any association which is inviting one of their clubs to apply for a slot in the tournament, are as follows:
Number of Teams Allowed to Apply: ( ONE )
  • Single-Association leagues may have one applicant team
  • Multi-Association leagues may have no more than three applicant teams with no more than one applicant from a single association
Criteria for Invitation:
  • In order to be invited, an applicant team must not have qualified for any Major Senior International competition (UICA, IFCF, Cup Winners Cup) during that cycle
  • An association may permit an applicant team using any criteria it chooses so long as the qualified applicant is selected based on sporting merit.
    • Preference for Invitations may go to applicants who have been selected via a Fair Play table
    • Other applicant criteria may include, but are not limited to: Best Defensive Record, Most Team Goals Scored, Most Improved Team
Previous Edition Finalists:
  • The reigning Champion Team does not need to apply for an invitation and will receive an invitation in addition to and exempt from other entrants and criteria
  • If deemed advantageous to the competition, the reigning Runner-Up, if not already invited, may also be extended an invitation under the same exemption

In order to apply for consideration to be Invited to the next Vilitan Cove Invitational, interested associations should follow the following guidelines.

TCSC /80th Super Cycle/32nd by Tropicorp/10th Tropicorp Supe

Postby Tropicorp » Tue Jun 07, 2022 9:16 pm

Tropicorp's sponsorship of the Super Cup competition through UICA reaches back to the 52nd edition of the event and had already been extended through the UICA 75th anniversary campaign. With the IFCF absorbing control of competitions from UICA, however, it left an untenable break for Tropicorp which had invested heavily in the Super Cup brand for the previous 20+ cycles.

The traditional UICA Super Cup included only the winners of three of the four UICA sanctioned events with the Youth Championships considered separate from the UICA Mainstream. Other major competitions such as the Cup Winners Cup and Vilitan Cove Invitational were excluded as they were not official UICA sanctioned events, but Tropicorp saw an opportunity to unite them in the Tropicorp Super Group. The winners of the 'other' 3 major internationstatal domestic competitions compete in their own three team group identical to the format of the old UICA Super Cup. The winner of this group then contests the Tropicorp Super Cup against the winner of the new IFCF Super Group.

The Tropicorp Super Group is timed such that the matches correspond roughly to the end of the Vilitan Cove Invitational tournament with the IFCF Youth Cup Champions playing their match against the Cup Winners Cup champions first, before each team played a single game against the winners of the Vilitan Cove Invitational. The "Rising Stars" Cup Champions would be permitted up to 5 Senior 'Guest' players on their roster in addition to a generous age restriction up to 21 years old for the remainder of their participating players. They are, however, encouraged to reward as many of the players who earned their championship as feasible.

The 10th Tropicorp Super Cup
Tropicorp Park, Tropicoast, Tropicorp

(PAS) Lunas FC 2–3 Wirr Tsi (CMT)

While the Chromatik Anomalies narrowly missed out on their first Vilitan Cove Invitational title, their league rivals Wirr Tsi would raise the Chromatik flag as they became the first team from Chromatika to win the modern Tropicorp Super Cup. The 3-2 result marked the second consecutive Tropicorp Super Cup to have its winner determined in regular time after four straight cycles where the game went to extra time. The 3-2 scoreline also tied the record for most goals in the modern Tropicorp Super Cup Final with 5, matching Straightdale FC's 3-2 victory over Rammsissil during the 3rd Modern Tropicorp Super Cup season.

History and Tenants :: Tropicorp Park is home to Tropicorp FC, members of the Vilitan Stellar Division and also regularly serves as the home of assorted International and Domestic Competitions. The Tropicorp Cup, a four team, 2 day grand-finale of the Tropicorp Lower League has served as an outstanding warmup to test the hospitality available at Tropicorp Park, and was critical in the build up to the decision to allow the finals of the Eagle's Cup V competition to take place in Tropicorp, the first major international competition of any kind to be held in Tropicoast.

Tropicorp Park hosted the 54th AOCAF Final that saw Cosumar break through with a first ever regional title over Eshan. The stadium was also the final site for the AOCL XXIII contested between Mâ Âlâmëómë of Farfadillis and Blades ex Magnaeus of Mertagne with the Farf side being victorious on Penalty Kicks; and for AOCL XVII which saw Jungle Strike FC defeat Fligsive FC 3-0.

Tropicorp officials are continuously looking to expand the portfolio of events held at the Park and began hosting UICA competition finals in addition to its long-standing partnership with the UICA Super Cup competition. Tropicorp Park hosted the final of the 70th UICA Series 'B' Champions Cup and the 25th UICA Youth Cup competitions. Tropicorp officials are always looking for new partnerships, however, and continue to take advantage of the opportunities to showcase their hospitality including branching beyond Footsport. The NSCF Tropicorp Bowl was contested on the gridiron with Raynor University defeating the university of Iqaluit 27-14.[/box]

SAVIGLEGA SEASON 8

Last year, the nation mourned as Villeneuve NSC won the league. Construction magnate Joël Bonmaison's pet project had proven that money alone could take a no-name third-tier club and win it a SavigLega. They had ridden a wave of money laundering, shameless spending, and bulldozing historic neighborhoods all the way to the top of Savigliano football. With Bonmaison promising new levels of investment after Bernard Deschamps constructed a championship core, the nation braced itself for a decade of soulless NSC dominance.

But sometimes Maggie has a heart. Villeneuve NSC opens the season with a hideous 1-0 loss to newly-promoted Komunemos Calcio. They follow that with losses to Pietrargenta and Castiglione in what nobody knows at the time are relegation six-pointers. After a 4-4-7 start, reigning manager of the season Deschamps is gone. Things get worse without him, as the bloated, lurching squad slips further and further down the league table. Star striker Devon Bradford tears his ACL. Keeper Jason Bernard has to be restrained after taking wild swings at a teammate. It is ASV, who NSC have spent so long trying to build a legitimate rivalry with, to send them back to the second tier with a 1-0 defeat on the penultimate matchday. The nation rejoices when it happens. Things are right again.

CAFA LigAnaia: Stadio del Piero, Acqui Bollente (42,500)
Stadio del Piero is the home of historical heavyweights AC Acqui Bollente, and while other stadia may hold more fans, it is undeniably the nation’s biggest stage. del Piero has staunchly utilitarian roots in the city’s industrial eastern side, where it was originally built to better cater to its working-class fans. Of course, the winds of market capitalism have turned the surrounding neighborhood into a playground for tech corporations and significantly renovated the stadium itself. Still, the stadium, named after legendary club chairman Niccolo del Piero, remains Savigliane’s footballing epicenter, hosting all national-team matches and the cup finals. Also hosted a number of matches at CAFA 3, including the final, as the FSF continues to try to establish it as one of Anaia's biggest stages.

PRVA SNL MEN'S

The fourth season of the professional football national league has begun its own competition. After the Sjeverna Slavonija region voted overwhelmingly in a referendum to join to the Srednjaci, the Football Association decided to change the competition system completely. For the three seasons, Srednjaci have a real professional league and the professional league has reached its new season. The defending champions are NK Dinamo Katanija, which has won the last two competitions.
However, Dinamo could have a serious competitor this season just like previous season, which is NK Torpedo Melarit. Last season both teams were tide on top but better goal deference had Dinamo. Torpedo is a club that traded well before the start of this season. Several big and important reinforcements were brought to the club. Although we expected a much higher result from NK Čelik Raduč last season, that result was missing. But after the end, according to them, of a bad season, Čelik went through a reorganization. We will see how much good this will bring them this season and whether this working class club has the strength to fight for the top of the table.
Last season was marked by one newcomer, NK Pionir. Pionir is a young and potent team with an excellent football school. They no longer have a few players who wore the game last season which could definitely be a minus. We definitely need to see how those who replaced them will cope. Will they successfully complete their task. In this season the new club is NK Jedinstvo from the town of Oroslavlje. They entered the first league directly as the winners of the second division. NK Archer Kula was better than NK Bitola in the playoffs.

PRVA SNL WOMEN'S LEAGUE

In the women's football league, the defending champions are ŽNK Dormatisi Blue Stars. For now, they are the main favorites to win the league. They brought several key reinforcements to the club. However, other clubs such as ŽNK Bistua Nuova and Mladost Melarit can certainly join the fight for the title. Bistua Nuova is a former champion, but last season they did not do well in preparation for the season, which was evident in the result. Youth Melarit, a discount of their male counterparts, are always at the top of the table in the title fight. Mladost is also the winner of the national cup. It will be very interesting to see another club, Dinamo Katanija. Dinamo was quietly looking for players on the market who could bring it a good season. We’ll see in the end how it ended up for them. The other club from the capital ŽNK Kings Star Katanija may also be in the top four but we are not sure they have a team for the very top.
The new club in the league is Neptune Taru. Neptune managed to be first in the second league and directly enter the first. In the playoff match between the penultimate club of the first league Omnius and the second-placed team from the second league Admiral, Omnius was better with a 3-1 home victory and it was 2-2 away.

The new champions are ŽNK Bistua Nouva. This is their second title in the league. The defending champions finished in third place and the club from northern Slavonia, Slavonija banka Podgora, did a great job in the second part of the championship and took second place. The point difference between the fifth-placed Mladost Melarit and the second-placed team is only 3 points. The season was very interesting and incredibly uncertain until the last round.

PLAYOFF FOR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

INTRO : the playoff rule for playing the Champions League is simple. The men's league champion and the women's league champion will have to compete in the playoffs. Two games will be played, one at home and the other away. In case they are tied in the victories, the goal difference will be seen. If, after the expiration of 90 minutes of play + referee compensation, the overall result is still equal, extra time and, if necessary, penalties will be taken.
The winner goes to the Champions League, the loser goes to the Challengers Cup.

ŽNK Dormatisi Blue Stars 1–2 NK Dinamo Katanija

NK Dinamo Katanija and NK Mladost Melarit will compete in Challenger's Cup.

NK DINAMO KATANIJA

The rulers of our national football league. Two titles in a row. Mladost Melarit has one title. NK Dinamo withdrew several talented players from the younger selections to the first team. Club sold some players and certainly the hardest hit is the departure of Takanobu Tavano. The biggest star of the team is Li Peng, a member of the national team and the best player of the team.

NK TORPEDO MELARIT

A club that won the title in the second league two seasons ago and automatically qualified for the first league. last season was the best in the history of the club. they fought for the title with NK Dinamo Katanija. Despite winning the same number of points, Dinamo won the title due to a better goal difference and mutual ratio. however, this club is facing its first international season. He will participate in the IFCF competition for the first time. their most expensive star is our most expensive but also the best player Isidor Matković. Certainly candidates for the top three positions. The best acquisition this season is the arrival of Takanobu Tavano. Tavano left Dinamo and moved to Torpedo for a big 6 million dalats in two seasons. This is the second highest amount in our league. Matković is currently the highest paid player. Matković has a revenue of 4.2 million per season.
