SWEN - Domestically the sport of football could see another upheavel. Southwest Eastnorth's governing body for domestic football the SWENFA has already been dealing with all sorts of weird issues in the three years it has been an IFCF member. First came the international player revolution, then the issues cropped up with semi-pro teams wanting their say in domestic football. That issue still hasn't been fully resolved yet and may not for a while. But now recent comments by former MVP Garrett Stronginthearm have the SWENFA and Directional Premier League up in arms as they may have started an exodus.
Stronginthearm's biggest comments came when he mentioned that he felt his play warrant an inclusion in the Nepharan national team. the 29 year old who was signed from Ingram Township has been a wonderkid of sorts for the Southwest Rangers since coming over from the fourth tier Nepharan side. But it's clear he wants to move on. SW Rangers had to deal with a lot during this season and finished fourth, but lagged behind the other three significantly, but their roster held up enough to prevent an injury bug and Stronginthearms comments and like of will to tank the team.
The other big news Item was "New Baltimore City, and the fire sale of Ripken River AA. Xannerian group Alexandria City bought the team. The team after the sale went through a lot of changes, The Roth's both had left, with Father Roth now focusing on construction and Jessica in Quebec, the team looked to move on and managed to take their patchwork team to a surprisingly decent 8th place. WHich actually was the highest finishing result they've had in three years.
