Radiohead - OK Computer, Kid A, and Amnesiac
Wilco - Summerteeth and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin and Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots
Grandaddy - The Sophtware Slump
PJ Harvey - Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea
Porcupine Tree - In Absentia
Muse - Origin Of Symmetry
Björk - Homogenic and Vespertine
Modest Mouse - The Moon And Antarctica
Jimmy Eat World - Clarity
Microphones - Mount Eerie
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven
Deftones - White Pony
Coldplay - Parachutes and A Rush Of Blood To The Head
U2 - Pop
The Shins - Oh Inverted World
System Of A Down - Toxicity
OutKast - Stankonia
Obviously there's a pretty wide variety here, and I think some of them are only kind of tangential to this vibe I'm talking about. So I've ordered them so that the stuff at the top is more what I'm getting at and the stuff further down kind of spins off in different directions, though I believe it's still related. I haven't heard the full discographies of most of these artists either, so feel free to recommend other albums from these same artists. Other than Radiohead, Muse, Coldplay, and U2 there's a lot I don't know from them!

Out of those, I've only listened to the Radiohead ones and the U2 one. I think the album Gran Turismo by The Cardigans sort of has that vibe, though it's not an album I like that much (the singles from it are good though).
Pop isn't that great imo. For U2, I'd recommend Boy, War, The Unforgettable Fire, The Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby, and Zooropa.

No I didn't back then. I do have one now, but I really only use it to catalogue my record collection. I think I reviewed like two albums, and one of them I only reviewed because I had to go through the process of adding it to the database so I could put it in my digital collection.

Ah, yeah, I think I remember now. Man it has been a long time. Its weird to think how much all of our lives have probably changed since then.

I'm also not a fan of U2's 90s albums. To me, everything between 1988 and 1999 should not have happened.
